JJK is still (unfortunately) my favorite series and I’ve chosen to be delusional and tell myself that Choso will somehow return, just like my glorious white haired king will return!

Even so, I always knew the story would end up like this— the manga literally starts off with Yuta’s story and my man (Suguru) was killed off early on so when I later found out tht jjk was inspired by Akame Ga Kill, I realized tht nine times outta ten, no one’s making it out alive :)

Kusakabe really struck a nerve with me when all he did was yapping sarcastically while watching the battle between Gojo vs. Sukuna, then he minimized Yuji's effort by saying his power and strength were thanks to Sukuna's, and AGAIN today, he blamed Gojo for the fact that he rejected the idea of child execution and eventually brought the chaos that could wipe off the nation because of that sole reason.

YOU KNOW WHAT? I think we need to start questioning what the FUCK was he doing ALL THIS TIME to save the young sorcerers from the torture of the sorcery world while we have Satoru and Yuki who were up against the Jujutsu higher ups + Tengen, finding a way to develop a curse-free world, and even sacrificed themselves for the sake of others' freedom.

a white haired guy is childhood friends with a dark haired guy who is more righteous and kind than him and the dark-haired guy teaches the white haired guy the meaning of doing the right thing and being nice to others (not killing them) before he goes off somewhere the white-haired guy can’t protect him and subsequently becomes a murderous villain with the goal of creating a perfect world (in part for the white-haired guy), rejecting the very morals that he taught the white-haired guy to embrace.

they reconcile right when the dark haired guy is about to die (the white haired guy is told to do it and has a large part in it). there’s also magical eye fuckery and a very big and significant identity reveal about the living status of the black haired guy that devastates the white-haired guy. they are also forced to kill each other. there is also struggle with identity and loyalty and following rules you dont agree with for the sake of the greater good.

ok once again I don't know too much about flowers but I like talking about them so bear with me lol

first of all morning glories are SO different than hydrangeas it seems almost like it was said on purpose

but one thing in common is they were always both very popular flowers in japanese culture since the heian era so sukuna just accessing megumi's flower memories seems like a very convenient LIE

especially with sukuna's line about sorcerers bonding with each other (sounds very possible for two sorcerers that shared a body) the themes of these flowers are so important imo. morning glories named after their morning bloom and mid-day fade represent the beauty in the fleeting moments just like everything else yuuji is trying to show, all the small things that make every life worthwile and important. hydrangeas on the other hand are associated with mutual understanding and unity. but they are also famous for having a very contrasting meaning in western culture: arrogance and a lack of empathy (what we see from sukuna all the time haha).

Can we talk about how fucking funny it is that there was an announcement that jjk is ending in 5 chapters not even 3 weeks after bnha has ended? And they'll have a month between their finales? I feel like Gege and Hori had a bestie meeting and just decided they were done with their respective stories together. Planned out the dates and everything
