I'm really not sure about the "Is she the Minister of Animals!?" caption. The sequence of characters there appear to be "さま大臣動物!?" The first two characters (さま) are the sama- honorific, indicating it's referencing someone of higher status. The last two characters (動物) mean "animal." The middle ones, however, are kinda weird. "大" can be read as "large," or possibly "university," and "臣" means "retainer or attendant." So, taken at face value, this would read something like, "Sir/Ma'am, [are you/am I/is this] the retainer of large animals?!"

However, for what I'm guessing were grammatical reasons, no automatic translator would translate it that way no matter how much I fiddled with things; and would always default back to just spitting the Japanese words back out. However, if two of the characters are switched around (臣大 becoming 大臣), every automatic translator was suddenly able to interpret it, and I could successfully find the characters as words in a dictionary--but it was translated as "Minister of animals" instead of "retainer of large animals." So it would have read more like, "[Are you/am I/is she] the Minister of Animals?!"

Given the sama- prefix and the way the sentence is formed (as well as the fact that "Minister" is the big title we see used in Hyzante), I decided to go with the "minister" translation, but I'm making the assumption that there was a little bit of a typo there. There's a pretty good chance that this is just a grammatically-shorthanded version of "Ma'am, are you the retainer of large animals?!" Or, as always, it's possible there's a completely different potential meaning that I missed.

Drawtober 2023 - Day 2 - Miraculous

This is one that makes me sad I'm sticking to greyscale, because the blue gradient is so pretty. I tried to do some harsher lighting as well, but I don't think it ended up as nice as I'd hoped.

Sorry Geela for not using you more, but Cordelia's Above and Beyond is the only other thing besides a shiny earring that's keeping her brother from ending up in an early grave.

Multiple times throughout Triangle Strategy the party has a vote on what to do next, if you want a particular outcome you have to convince the characters to vote for what you want. There's always at least one undecided voter, usually Anna as in this screenshot. In this case I wanted to go to Aesfrost so I had to convince Benedict, Frederica, Geela, and Anna while Roland, Hughette, and Erador already wanted to go there.

"I put this together based off a concept for an apothecary costume" might have been making a reference to a specific job class in Various Daylife. I looked it up a little and found one called "Herbalist" that might match, but I'm not super familiar with the game myself, so I wasn't 100% sure about it.

I wanna play triangle strategy because I love Benedict and Frederica and Geela but I also wanna play fe7 because I ADORE AND LOVE HECTOR WITH MY ENTIRE HEART. Help me.

Triangle Strategy gave the "me" back then a migraine in every chapter by making my already-running-at-high-capacity brain even more cognitive load (which was contributed by choosing to play it on Hard Mode like every other game i own because "hey if it's hard I'll have to spend even more time on it and earn back every buck! Brilliant!" completely forgetting that, chief, you ain't actually good at gaming you dipshit).

And since I have a negative bias against it you are currently sick, I say play Fire Emblem 7 and let Hector the Guy Who Showed Me How Fucking Sick Axes Are (because the Lyndis campaign deadass made me think axes are dumb because nani the fuck is that accuracy rate? What's the point of it hitting hard if they usually can't hit for shits?! And then Hector showed up) cure you with sheer Hectorness.

Also, biased and based for that Hector admiration. You also liked Matthew and Serra right? If not mistaken? Anyone else?

Ooh on that note! I saw your Triangle Strategy biases in passing I think! Anna, Ezana the witch girl, Geela, Julio? And yea!!! I really adored Frederica's personal story too! I was actually quite invested in it even though she ultimately wasn't one of my biases. It was really pumping!

Yea, the last two really made my last few chapters a head-splitting experience. On the one hand, Benedict was clashing with my idealistic "half." On the other, ROLAND THE FUCK ARE YOU EVEN ADVOCATING?! This is so OUT OF YOUR CHARACTER!

Nonetheless, I actually enjoyed these two's backstories and characters, and kinda resonate enough to like them.
