I love how different our interpretations of Anti are lmao
To me he's just a grumpy guy with a l o t of trauma that can be redeemed
Depends on the AU for me, but I want canon Anti to be a being beyond normal human emotion with no real concept of redemption, only action
And because of this, I want to throw it at a wall like a ball and watch it bounce
#ask#meisamyth#can you tell I want a stuffed toy version of anti#so I can abuse it#and squeeze it like a stress ball#because I do#he’s the only one I wouldn’t feel guilty doin it to#I might throw the others#but I will also pamper them#anti will get no pampering#and I will still love him gdjdbdm

EATING THIS. MONCHIN SO HARD ON THIS
The Crimson Files, Chapter 4
A/N: Took a day off to write another chapter, and I'm starting to figure out where this is leading. Warning this chapter for actual blood drinking.

Chapters 1, 2, 3

Marvin stomped his feet outside the door of a small house, rubbing his hands together in an attempt to beat the cold setting in. he paused as the door opened, revealing a tired-looking man with glasses askew, glaring into the night at the magician on his doorstep.
“This had better be important, Marvin,” he groused, German accent thick with sleep as he opened the door wider to invite Marvin inside.
“Have you seen it?” the magician asked, dropping his bags beside the door as he stepped inside, “The castle has a new visitor.” He sat in a plush armchair, watching as the homeowner set a cup of steaming tea in front of him. The man in question sighed, picking up his own cup of tea and taking a sip before answering.
“I did not notice, Marvin. As you know, I am a busy doctor, I have patients to attend.” He placed his cup down as he leaned forward to look Marvin in the eye. “I do not have time to watch the comings and goings of the castle on the hill.”
“Henrik, this is important! This is the second visitor in two weeks! This means the visitors are somehow related. Isn’t this something we should be looking into?” Marvin persisted, tea untouched before him as he stared at Henrik with pleading eyes. Henrik, on the other hand, simply ran a hand through his hair before leaning back again, face stern but tired.
“Remind me how long it’s been since Jackie was taken.” He commanded, voice softening as he shifted into a professional mode. Marvin rolled his eyes, finally lifting the teacup to his lips as he crossed an ankle over his knee.
“It’s been almost twelve months, Henrik,” he stated, eyes fixed on a loose thread on his shirt, “He went up the path to that castle and never returned. But this is different-”
“You may think this is different, Marvin,” Henrik soothed, “But could it be possible these two people you saw going into the castle know the castle’s owner?” Marvin scowled, teacup clattering as he put it down.
“You’re right, Henrik, but just once I want you to actually agree with me,” he argued, waving his hands in exasperation, “Humour me for a minute: what if the vampires living in the castle were luring people in so they could turn them and destroy our village?”
“While I’ll admit your theories are quite creative,” Henrik began slowly, “They are simply theories. We have found no evidence that the resident of that castle is planning to attack. Just like we have very little evidence to prove that the resident is a vampire. Have you been taking the tea I gave you to help you sleep?” He asked, standing and escorting Marvin to the door.
“I have, but all it does is make my head hurt,” Marvin replied, picking his bags up and opening the door. As he exited and turned toward his house, he heard Henrik tell him to take a smaller dosage of the tea before the door closed, and Marvin was left to his thoughts again.

The man sat in the corner of his cell, dark hair falling over his eyes and thumb pressed into a spot on his palm, looking at Jameson with fearful eyes. His lips moved slowly, silently mouthing a mantra to himself as he watched Jameson approach.
“I trust you slept well, Robert,” Jameson assumed, standing just past the halfway line of the cell. Robert simply sat, eyes trained on Jameson as the vampire sank into a crouch, reaching for Robert slowly.
“Come now, Robert,” Jameson said, voice soft, “I won’t hurt you. I simply want to see your hand.” As if against his will, Robert extended his hand toward Jameson, watching as the vampire wrapped cold fingers around his wrist to pull him closer.
“That wasn’t so hard, now was it?” Jameson praised as he pulled Robert’s wrist closer, brushing his nose against the vein throbbing beneath the skin. His fingers curled around Robert’s arm, gently turning his wrist so that Jameson’s sharp teeth barely grazed the soft expanse of his veins, causing Robert to shiver before letting out a hiss as Jameson bit into him.
His head felt light as Jameson drank, and Robert focused on the feeling of his blood rushing to his wrist as a grounding point to stop from passing out. The vampire drank hungrily, fingers growing tighter on Robbie’s wrist as he pulled more blood, before releasing his prisoner and sitting back, wiping his bloody mouth on the back of his hand.
Robert held his wrist to his chest, ignoring the blood slowly seeping through the fabric of his shirt as he looked at Jameson with glassy eyes. The vampire looked back at him, breathing deeply as he smiled slowly before moving to stand.
“Your blood…” he panted, “Is growing less rich… the more I drink it… the same happened to Jackie… before he turned.” He stood again, looking at Robert with red eyes.
“I shall return in the morning to check for any changes.” Locking the door behind him, Jameson left Robert to think about the coming morning.
---
Jackie sat in the drawing room, studying a ridiculous novel by some strange author, when Jameson strolled in, blood smeared around his lips and across one cheek. Jackie placed down his book, eyes darkening as Jameson sat in the chair opposite him.
“We have guests,” Jackie commented, “You should make sure you clean up before walking through the castle.” Jameson snorted, reaching into his pocket to pull out a handkerchief and wiping at his face.
“Have you had anything to drink since the glass I gave you this evening?” He asked, pushing the handkerchief back into his pocket. Jackie slouched in his chair, picking at his fingernails.
“There was a possum outside the window a half hour ago,” he started, “I drank that.” Jameson sighed, reaching into another pocket and handing Jackie a small skin bag.
“It’s not very fresh, but I managed to get some blood from a peasant who had wandered onto the grounds,” he said, “And the doorman is always willing to give up a pint or two.” Jackie snatched the bag from Jameson, sinking his teeth into it before the elder vampire had finished speaking. Mouth bloodied, he looked up at Jameson with inquisitive eyes.
“What are you going to do with Chase?”
“I’m not sure,” Jameson sighed, closing his eyes, “I might just drain him and leave his shell for the vultures.”
