I’m sure there’s a term for this, but in the same way homonationalism describes the process of using the guise of lgbtq rights to further western imperial aims, something similar happens with gentrification - I walk down gentrified streets and all the small business owned shops have gay pride stickers in their windows, often with explicit attention called to being trans inclusive
