I now have acrylic standees in the store!

These are really nice. It's a single yellow brick road base featuring all three characters as three uprights to give a diorama-like depth! And guess what?

They're double-sided! :o

We've prints & enamel pins too as well as Gastrophobia merchandise if you're a fan of the classics! ;)

I was considering making more character stands if these sell well, but the truth is I don't know how the upcoming rising tariffs in the US will affect my ability to order new merchandise. So, unfortunately these might be the only acrylic stands I make.

Dorothy contemplates Eternity. A companion piece to my fic "The Heretic."

So, I wrote this out of spite in response to a troll who reviewed my previous fic and told me to find God, that God hates the sin but not the sinner when it comes to homosexuality, to flee sexual immorality, etc.

Please review. I know it's a personal, raw hybrid of mostly the books, a touch of the 1939 film, a little Return to Oz in there as well, and more than a little influence from Salman Rushdie's essay on the 1939 film (the last paragraphs of which changed me) but I hope the heart shines through in my writing.

4. what defines your artistic style? my style changes all the time and very suddenly. right now, my biggest style characteristics are angular lines, outlined noses, prominent eyebrows, visible blush matching the skintone, and those little - what are those called? ahoge. the little floating strands of hair at the part. i really like drawing hands so often i'll highlight/focus on them!

22. list one of your "artspirations". i'm gonna list a ton: j.c. leyendecker is a big one. my favorite illustrator (who isn't, like, currently active)!! his brushtroke backgrounds and shading/color styles are so cool and so inspiring. i've done a number of studies of his work in neon colors so i can focus on the shading, brushstrokes, and composition!! in terms of currently active artists, i really love animation tho i don't have the patience to do it myself. lewvk and vewn's colorful and angular style plus use of visual storytelling were a big influence on my art, specter's designs and style are so neat, rukart bert has such a unique way of doing lineart and the colors are delicious, i'm a huge fan of bunnycat's smooth animation and cute designs, and clmr1 is so good at drawing out an emotional reaction. my favorite webcomic artists are @ggdgart and @gastrophobia, whose comics significantly influenced the way i tell stories. i could list so many more works and artists but this is getting long.

Not a fan of slugs...but honestly, I haven't seen many in recent years, and they're important members of the ecosystem. So...good for you for spreading gastropophilia! (the enjoyment of slugs & snails, etc--no I don't know if it's a word, but I do know gastrophobia is the fear of vomit/vomiting, and this is gastropod-based)

my dad was outside feeding the slugs cucumber slices earlier
