Gastina moments? You threw me a curveball didn't you since I love all of them, but I'll try to give you a couple

1. The blindfold scene S1E73-74

It is not the most iconic Gastina scene without a reason. It just is such a cute scene and shows a respectful Gastón really is, always respecting her boundaries. I also have the headcanon about the scarf and how Luna gave it to Nina afterward, and I wish this would have been implemented in the show and we could have seen Nina wear it.

2. The locker scene S2E2

we always joke on this fandom that S2 was the season where they started serving that hormone juice at Roller. I just love this scene, because it gives us a pretty good scope on how they actually act when there is no one else around and even in public they were not exactly shy on PDA. I have full analysis of this scene coming so I gonna refrain from saying anything else here.

3. Videomessage -> kiss S1E79-80

How could I exclude THE scene where Gastina became canon?

Okay, I actually picked a bit more unconventional scenes for the last two. These scenes are some that you don't usually think of when you think iconic Gastina moments and they are definitely underrated. But I'll explain why I love these

4. "Should I be jealous?" S2E35

This is the scene right before the Oxford fight when they talk about Nina's post about Roller team. Why I really love this scene is the exchange where Gastón says that he kind of misses Felicity and Nina shoots back about if she should be jealous. I love the call back to the start of their relationship.

5. Scene at the lockers in S2E36

This is a really unconventional choice to say that this is a good Gastina scene since they are actually kind of broken up during this (I don't personally think that they were broken broken up during this, but it is very hard to tell since there are like three different scenes that you can consider as their S2 break-up scene.), but this is such a good scene. They are in a fight and Gastón is angry at Nina for a good reason, but he never badmouths her or even shouts at her and even hears her out. Lutteo could never do that, Leonatta has never managed it or any other Violetta couple. I have a full essay about this scene as well

And now the bromances, so I get to flex out my other fandoms. These are not in any particular order except the no. 1.

- Manuel and Gopal (Aliados)

I have not been able talk about my love for Aliados very much. Manuel is without any question of my favorite characters and that is not only because he is played by Agus. Manuel and Gopal had probably the best missions x ally dynamic. Their relationship really started when Gopal saver Manuel's life and as a result left the mirror (even if that was Germing and Damon's intention). Then of course Gopal saved Manuel's life again after he attempted to commit suicide. Do I only love them because this was the start of MYA? Maybe, but the relationship is still super unique because it started with Manuel thinking that he was crazy seeing Gopal in the mirror and in the end accepting that he did exist, and due to that Manuel actually became the first one to be aware of the light beings. I know this probably did not make any sense to people who have not seen Alioados, but that is how I feel. Go watch the show, it is dark and mentally very taxing, but very good.

- Harry Potter and Ron Weasley (Harry Potter)

My original favorite male friendship! I am a big but passive Potter head who loves Ron Weasley too much. Ron was Harry's first friend, the one who provided him the family he never had. Golden trio is the golden trio, but Ron and Harry are still Ron and Harry, and Hermione doesn't compare. If someone doesn't agree, then go read Goblet of fire. - Newt Scamander and Jacob Kowalski (Fantastic Beasts)

Have I ever mentioned that I love Newt and Jacob? It's really hard to explain, but their dynamic just works

1. Gastón and Matteo (Soy Luna)

I sincerely hope that no one is surprised. If you are, you must be new here. You all know how much I love Gastteo. They are how you do a healthy male friendship right. They are not afraid to be vulnerable with each other, they say that they love each other, give each other hugs when the other is feeling down and more. You know how much I love them already and they need a happy ending as well

☕️ Soy Luna?

Oof, I haven’t finished the show. And the last time I watched an episode was months ago since I’m almost always busy with school and there’s no dub for me to listen to while doing schoolwork.

But from what I have watched (and have spoiled for myself), I love it. Most of the characters are likable, the songs are amazing, the general plot is a nice break from the usual school setting (I already go to an equivalent of Blake South College so I really didn’t need to see Luna have a hard time in school for more than two episodes), and the Sol Benson plot absolutely delivers with the mystery (even if they’ve laid out the clues in the first few episodes).

Very excited to see Simbar and Ambilia (I think that’s Ámbar and Emilia’s ship name??), but I can get by the ships so far. Don’t care for some of them, Gastina is really cute even if Roxy from Violetta has made me dislike the Felicity plotline, and I know Lutteo have and will have a lot of problems, they seem cute at their best.

Also, as expected, the non-canon ships are better than most canon ships. I can name Lumbar, Sitteo, Jim x Yam, Ambilia as mentioned, and Ana x Mora.

Speaking of Simbar and Ambilia, Ámbar is my favorite character, Valentina is absolutely stunning, I love her as a mean girl, and am very excited to see her full redemption arc and her have an identity crisis (it’s concerning how i worded it, yes, but i expect it to be at least decently written and i like pain :)).

Hmm, what else? Luna’s a dumb cutie, Matteo is kind of a jerk but a terribly attractive one at that, Simón deserves the entire world and I love his friendship with Luna so much even if I don’t ship them, Nina admittedly annoys me sometimes for whatever reason but I still like her, Jim and Yam should date instead of wanting boyfriends, Delfi and Jazmin are hilarious, I don’t have that many opinions about Ramiro or Gastón but I like them, Nico and Pedro are... forgettable but decent, Tino and Cato annoy me (even more that they’re the same actors as Marrotti and Rafa), Rey and Sharon are... ??, and Monica and Miguel are best parents (Germán can learn a lot).

Loving what you said about Gastina. I also love the fact that you called their S2 conflict a break since it really was not a break-up to the fullest extend. I do consider it as a break as well since it was not supposed to be a break up in the first place, it just escalated to such accidentally.

In the start, the break was justified since Gastón was justifiedly angry and needed some time to think and clear his head since we all know he has abandonment issues. He forgave her in record time, but just never had to chance to tell her that. The whole issue after ep. 40 was just circumstances out of their control, and they were both just afraid of getting hurt. The only way to get out of that kind of situation is to just take the risk, exactly what Gastón tried to do after Matteo talked some sense into him, but then they were always interrupted. Nina was not brave enough to take the risk and Luna definitely did not help the case.

Sometimes I feel like that only one who cared about Gastina was Matteo. Luna wants Nina to be happy, but she doesn't realize that her happiness is with Gastón and no one else. This applies to Nina as well. Luna and Nina just refused to acknowledge that Gastteo are their true loves and they can do nothing about that, while Gastteo knows that they are in love with those small brunettes.

Like I always say, Gastina's break up in S3 made no sense, in context. I won't deny that Gaston did not have just reasons for breaking up with her, but when you look at the context, it makes no sense him to have those reasons. He was not planning on it when he came back.

I love your own take on The Holy Trinity of Ships. I am a big believer in the original Lutteo x Gastina x Simbar trinity, but itis nice to see other takes. Yamiro is one of the underrated ones, and they were never given enough focus. Same with Pelfi and we don't even need to talk about Jico. Pelfi got their moment in S3, when they took the healthy couple mantel after Gastina was sunken down deeper than Titanic

Soy Luna Holy Trinity Ships (in my opinion)

Not gonna lie some of you may be mad about this…but it must be said. The holy trinity of ships in soy luna was simbar, gastina and yamiro. Yup I said what I said 🤚🏼

Simbar: There chemistry was just un matched for I mean there tension was sooo good. God I cant believe this is Disney!!! The way Simon could see good in Ambar whilst everyone would disagree and call him crazy was just 🤌🏼 I just wished we had more scenes of them in season three. We can all agree season three was to rush 🤚🏼 Both these characters come from different worlds and seeing how they fall for each other goddddd😩😩

Gastina: They should’ve been endgame!!! There whole story with the felicityfornow was just to good. The build up we had in season one to where they were now in season two it just made no sense for them to just break up in season three. I mean throughout the whole show they’ve risked so much just to be together and then just for that to get thrown away. God I mean we then had there “break” in season two which pissed me off since it took up most of season two. Like season three we could’ve had more scenes of them being happy and stuff.

Yamiro: This is literally one of my favorite ships that should’ve gotten MORE SCREEN TIME. I mean they build up this whole them liking each other and when there finally together you barely get any screen time from them being a couple. And omg I hated how the show just made them break up everytime. 😭 This was kind of an enemies to lovers trope especially in season one so them being together was just 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 Plus the whole Yam being rude to him in season three I kind of felt it was off because I don’t think she would be the type to do that so that really sucked. I mean the way he compliments her everytime godddd I need someone like Ramiro in my life. Also I wished we had a yamiro duet like imagine Ramiro rapping whilst Yam is just singing so beautiful and the way it just syncs up so nice 😩🤚🏼

I never knew you were the someone waiting for me

Well, this is the last chapter.

I have no idea what to say and at the same time there is so many words in my head that I don’t know what to pick out of all them. I am mostly super emo, because this is end of something that has been following me since March. The plot had been changing with every chapter, every time I was sitting to the docs and writing something. It was supposed to be so different, yet it ended like this, with Matteo being mostly the main point of view and I couldn’t really be happier that I could give those two dorks a different story in some way.

Not to be more dramatic than I already am, I wanna thank to my baked goods, if not for them, this whole thing probably would’ve stayed on being an oneshot. (I am totally not crying at all right now)

It says that atoms were created and spread around entire universe missing those atoms they were created with. Since then these atoms are wandering aroung the universe looking for their close ones, hoping they will find one day and some of them are hidden in people. So it means people are unconsciously looking for someone in entire universe, hoping that their atoms find each other one day.”

“Is that all, or is there something more?”

“Now matter how far they are, they always find a way.”

Chapter 10 /or/ about changes, growing up and hope

Luna yawns loudly, turning her face to the pillow and closing her eyes, because it’s definitely too early for waking up. She didn’t even need the alarm (or five) today and as surprising it is, she hates that feeling since the very first second after noticing it. It tells her to get up, to move her small butt up from the bed and take a shower, since she was so tired last night she skipped it. Falling asleep under the shower would be too risky so it should be nice that she has time for it now, but no.

It’s not the freshness and peace after sleep one can feel, while tangling and rolling around in the sheets, watching the sun peeking through windows. It tells her to get up, get ready and eat something as soon as possible. It tells her to go to school, because at school she will meet Matteo, and there was not any moment Luna Valente would hate more.

She doesn’t want to see him; not yet at least, when she needs to heal, to calm down and let her heart rest after all those time the Italian made it beat faster than it’s recommended. She needs time to put everything clear inside her head, but she can’t, she has to get up, because her whole body is gonna tickle inside unbearably until she does what it wants. At those moments Luna regrets that her soulmate isn’t something like those soulmate aus in the internet; she got one of the worst ones, because she can’t even nap more after this damn thing wakes her up in need of Matteo.

If this isn’t one of the most ridiculous things the brunette has ever experienced, she has no idea what is; this seems ridiculous as hell and the fact that it feels all warm around her body when she even thinks of the rude Italian boy is beyond any endurance.The whole conversation with Gastón messed with her brain even more; it’s not like she needs to know that Matteo likes her when he’s not willing to communicate. Matteo’s best friend wanted to do a good thing and it was somehow good, good to know what really caused Balsano’s sudden change, but at the same time Luna hates it, because it didn’t actually help. After all no one is going to force the Italian to talk to her, right?

She doesn’t even notice what is happening before she gets into the car and closes her eyes taking deep breath. Matteo, Matteo, Matteo.

No, Matteo is a no no.

This is getting worse the closer to the school she is and Luna truly wants to go home and nap whole day. It would be nicer if this shit wasn’t tickling inside of her stomach making her feel like getting rid of breakfast she not long ago had.

“Are you okay, Lunita?” Ambar asks, not even getting his eyes up off screen of her phone. Something in her voice sounds almost warm and the brunette thinks that she’s probably getting crazy herself right now.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I’m just sleepy.” Luna mumbles moving her eyes to the older blonde and trying to sound believable.

Ambar snorts a little, rolling her eyes and sighs. “Does this sleepy is names also Matteo Balsano? Because if yes, I can kick his ass.”

Valente blinks surprised and frowns. “Isn’t he your best friend?”

“Yes, but I will never waste a chance to punch him. Y’know, I am not the one to deny myself this small pleasure.” Ambar shrugs and Luna giggles. It feels better, she can focus for a second on something else than Matteo.

Sadly they already reached the destination, and without waiting for younger girl, Smith leaves the car not saying anything. Luna sighs moving few strands of hair out of her face. This is gonna be a very bad day.

“What do you mean you talked to her mother?” Gastón basically squeals in the middle or Blake’s corridor and Matteo growls. “Shut up, bro. Not everyone needs to know about that. I would actually appreciate if no one knew. So please don’t tell anyone.”

Perida pouts at his friend and the Italian growls again, already regretting what he said.

He doesn’t even plan to tell Ambar what he did, she would probably call him ridiculous shit or other, uglier, curses and she truly has many, many of them. Not to mention Matteo doesn’t want Luna to know anything, not yet at least, because Matteo himself knows that it’s not the best thing to do. He went to her mother first, instead of her, and now he lowkey feels bad; he actually should have let the brunette speak when he didn’t want to listen and reach for her when it was time for it.

Now it’s a bit too late to do it in a right way, but it’s not too late to fix this, so when Gastón jumps seeing Luna, Matteo just pulls him somewhere else. He doesn’t really want to risk his best friend running to her with puppy smile.

Balsano recently discovered a soft spot Perida has for Luna Valente and it’s actually very cute to know that at least one of his friends is completely supportive for this. It’s not like Ambar does not. Of course, she does, but her support is different kind of support. She never really awws over him, never makes a victim out of him and he appreciates this. If not Ambar he would probably still was whining in his bedroom to Angelo about how he couldn’t sleep and his father’s cat would most likely just snort at him, hit him with a paw or tail and leave dramatically. Angelo is true supporter here.

Anyway, Matteo wouldn’t be really surprised if Gastón himself went to Luna, explaining why his best friend acted this way and probably sell her some stories; moreover, part of Matteo’s brain knows that he did that, but doesn’t want to ask about that. Maybe it’s better if he’s still unsure.

Bell rings announcing beginning of another class and Balsano sighs not sure how to start conversation with a girl that he screwed up with and he knows that he needs to fix it. He knows it so much it hurts.

The afternoon is going pretty nice; Luna is standing by the counter in Jam and Roller with her notebook in front of her as she’s solving another math problem without any help. She feels great knowing how to find the x once again, and maybe she won’t need Nina much this time, what would be even better since her sweet friend is having long (and probably boring) conversation with Gastón Perida about this one book. Luna isn’t sure what’s in it so incredible that they can talk and talk and talk and talk since they came here, but the brunette can’t complain.

She is super happy for Nina and the fact she manages to have some kind of chat with nice friend of Matteo, she is proud and now she can only try to work on her math, listening the music with one ear and with the other trying to catch what Simón tells her from time to time.

Fifth exercise isn’t as easy as the fourth and Luna pouts much, growling a little and with corner of her eye she notices Simón leaving, probably running away from math, and honestly she can’t be any surprised with that.

Luna opens the very end of her notebook with intention of finding the x somewhere and not messing her notes. She growls again, because this damn equation doesn’t want to work. She lets out final, dramatic sigh and rests her head on the counter, next to the notebook. Song in her earphones ends in the same moment that someone pokes her on the ribs.

“No,” Luna mumbles, taking the pen and deep breath before she tries again. The someone pokes her once more and Valente can hear small it will be twelve said a little too close to her ear.

Luna turns to the right violently, completely surprised, because she hasn’t really expected Matteo appearing any close to her. He is smiling softly at her, his eyes sparkling with something Luna can’t really name. She is too speechless to check her vocabulary list right now.

“What?” The brunette asks confused and Matteo chuckles, not stopping smiling for even a second. His hand goes towards Luna’s notebook, his index finger pointing at the equation. “The answer is twelve here.” She stares at him lost. One day he is totally avoiding her and another day she has Matteo approaching her and doing her math homework.

“Um…” she pauses, not sure what to say. “Thanks. I guess.” Matteo sends her another smile. “It’s fine. Do you want me to explain this?” he asks, resting his elbows on the counter.

“No, no. I think I know what to do now.” She bites on her lower lip, still not knowing what is he doing here. He is standing too close, yet not close enough. She can feel his scent, his arm is pressed to hers and all Luna wants is to crawl under his skin and stay there forever until they all turn to stardust.

His grin grows even more and Luna is gone, completely gone, almost forgetting that she was supposed to be angry at him, or at least be neutral. She takes deep breath, shaking her head and pouting a little. “Is there anything you wanted from me? Or you were just randomly passing and decided to save me from some distress?”

It sounds a little too harsh, but Luna guesses if not harsh, it would end up almost like asking him to be back to his normal self and to be normal with her. Matteo doesn’t seem to notice the hard tone of her voice, yet his smile falls a little and his face turns to serious. “Yes, actually-” he clears his throat. “I wanted to talk to you.”

“Talk to me?” Luna frowns. “About what?”

He takes deep breath looking around and stopping his look at Simón who has been cleaning the same glass since Matteo came here. Luna wants to giggle a little, fully aware of the fact her best friend, despite being the loveliest puppy ever, likes gossip. She shakes her head at him, though, and smiles softly letting him know that she would like him to leave her alone with the Balsano boy.

She turns back to Matteo, curious face probably visible as hell, but honestly who wouldn’t be curious in this moment? He sighs softly, looking back at her. “About what happened. And of course if you are willing to give me a chance to at least explain.” He adds quickly, making her heart beat a little faster, because how couldn’t she? Part of her wants to kick him and run as away as possible, but the part of her that has always seen the best of him, the one that has always given all people another chance, so at least here she has an excuse to listen to him and not be called to good for everyone again.

“Okay,” her voice seems to quiet for him to hear it but he wakes up hearing that. “I will let you talk, but only if,” her hand covers his softly and their eyes both look at them for a second before they are back to each other. “You have to promise me you will tell me the truth, no excuses, okay?” Matteo takes deep breath and nods slowly, watching her and Luna smiles a little awkwardly and takes her hand, wanting to leave already.

“Luna, wait.” He stops her and she turns around so quickly, her hair hits her face a little. “Do you have time today?”

“Yeah, today I do.” Brunette nods smiling. “Where? I am not sure if it would be good idea to come near my house.” Matteo actually snorts a little making her frown, but shakes his head when she sends him questioning look.

“Can we meet on the beach? I will walk you home later either way, so…” he cuts never finishing.

“Sure. I will text you the hour when I get home, okay?”

He throws small smile at her and she does the same.

Matteo looks around the beach not sure what to do and what time it is, but he is going to wait for her until she is here. Waves are hitting his feet softly, making the sand leave him pulled by the water and Matteo smiles watching it as it’s repeating continuously. He’s being pulled in the same way to Luna and away from Luna, and back again, and it probably looks exactly the same in the scale of the universe.

It’s already late, the sun is gonna go down soon making somehow this scenery what could be worse, but all Matteo can do right now is digging in the sand a little, humming a song and the wind on his face makes everything around so calm, so peaceful that he almost can’t feel the possible drama that is coming. He has no idea what to say no matter that he’s written it many, many times before this afternoon. He’s memorized half of those notes and yet now his head is empty, crystal clear as if he needs to figure out everything when she’s here, or better; talk only what he thinks while looking at her and fulfilling promise he made of telling her the truth and only the truth.

Last days have been a mess. Mostly because Luna wasn’t part of them, and if she were, it was mostly a glance, or even not, and avoiding each other. It wasn’t the best of him either, because even Angelo felt bad enough to come to his bedroom and meow at him few times, and this is a record. Angelo never does it and if he did, it must mean that it was bad and obvious as fuck, and yet, sadly, neither of his parents asked.

They did notice, though.

His father stopped asking about college, his voice might’ve gotten softer through this time. His mom started leaving him tea and cookies before school, sometimes her hugs were tighter so Matteo guesses they know and they have been trying to make him feel any better, and the only thing they need to work on is actual talking. Maybe it’s time to fix it. Maybe he will be even nice to Angelo one day.

Matteo turns away from the water, just to scan the beach, searching for Luna and when he spots her the smile appears on his face completely unprompted. She is watching him as well, her face somehow unreadable for the first time ever while her hair is a big mess because of the wind. Her shoes are hanging off her shoulder, thanks to the tied laces so her hands are free yet playing with edges of jean shirt wrapped around her hips.

He moves towards her, wanting to meet her earlier, every step is making him breathe easier. He’s not sure, but maybe it’s the fact he already accepted being part of something that should be whole; he wants to make it whole no matter how. He needs Luna in his life, no matter as who. He can be her whatever, the thing that is important is having her close and never far away.

It seems like she can’t stop smile appearing on her face when she is closer. She stops just a step away from him and yet he needs to pull her closer, hoping at the same time that if someone does it it’s either of them, not this universe hokus-pokus.

“Hi,” she mumbles softly, pushing her hands in the pockets of her shorts and Matteo can swear that it’s because she is dying to touch him as much as he is.

“Hi back.” He grins and she shakes her head, blushing a bit. “Thanks for coming here.”

Luna sends him teasing look. “Were you thinking I wouldn't come here when I promised I would?”

“No, it's not that.” He chuckles. “It was just this always anxious part, the one that keeps telling you the thing you want the least will happen.”

“So Matteo Balsano is scared of something happening?”

Mentioned Matteo catches strand of her hair and pulls it a little. “Of course, I'm no different.”

Valente giggles. “Well, I am here anyway. You wanted me here.” She sends him expecting look as she stands on her tiptoes and goes back fully to her feet. He takes a deep breath and her hand by the way, pulling her along the shore and making her get into the water. “First of all I wanted to say that I'm really sorry.”

“For what exactly?”

Matteo sighs. “For being an asshole.” He stops her in the middle of the step and she looks at him confused as he continues. “For being dumb idiot who wasn't able to appreciate what he had. But I'm willing to appreciate if you're willing to let me.”

Luna blinks at him few times. “Matteo, I-” he interrupts her. “No, I know, I screwed up and I know I don't really deserve getting you back. Not that we've ever been in state that I could say that I had you in any way, but I just want to have you daily and be close to you because you are pretty and your smile is pretty.” His breath catches as he tries to breathe in between those waterfalls of words, but he can't really stop them while Luna seems lowkey amused.

“Don't think that I like you only because you are pretty, I mean I do but not the normal kind of pretty. I mean more this I like watching you when you don't know I look pretty or the I like your laugh even when you laugh at me kind of pretty and I'm not sure if there is anyone else who would make fun of me the way you do, anyone who wouldn't judge me for talking bad things about my friends, because you know I'm never being serious in those moments.”

“Matteo,” she mumbles, but he shakes his head. “No, no. Let me finish, because I will freeze and forget what I wanted to say. This would make you laugh probably, and I would love that because I love your laugh, but this can be left for later, right?” She nods, grinning a little and he’s not sure is he is being ridiculous, but he said a so he has to say b, and maybe even c.

“Listen.” He reaches for her hands, not knowing which one of them laced their fingers together. “There’s so many things I did wrong, I know, but I want to make it right. Mostly because you deserve to have things right. All things right. And I wanna have you close, I want to watch stupid videos with you, listen to songs that you like and those which I like, I want to get silly memes from you, and show you those from Gastón while complaining about him. I want us to be normal, act like normal people, no matter that we are made of the stars.”

As soon as he poetically finishes Luna gets to her tiptoes and wraps her arms around his neck tightly. She hides in his neck, trying to get closer and only one thing Matteo can do is hug her back after he throws his shoes to the sand. Luna pulls away softly, wearing big grin and asks: “will you let me steal your fries, though?”

“I will let you steal anything you want from me.” He mumbles pushing her hair out of her face. “You stole me whole already. That’s all on you what you will do with that.”

She nods and brushes her nose with his. “Made of stars, huh?”

“That’s just who we are. The stars. Maybe we even were part of the same galaxy. Who knows really?”

Luna smiles at him softly, sky is darkening behind her, interrupted by strands of soft curls of her hair. He can’t stop himself from pushing it around her ear, hoping that wind won’t mess it again. It does, but she still looks as breathtaking as never before. Little blush covers her cheekbones and he wants to touch it so much, that his hand cups her cheek almost involuntarily. His thumb caresses her skin and Luna closes her eyes, her smile growing slightly, and that’s it. Matteo isn’t able to resist longer and leans towards her, brushes tip of her nose with his, just like she did seconds before, hoping that she will catch what he wants to do.

She giggles with small sound and tangles her fingers in hair of his nape. Then her lips are on his. She kisses him, he kisses her, slowly, softly, slower, softer, the slowest, the softest.

And, oh stars.

He knows.

He can feel that.

Gastina x Lutteo song: I am convinced that the only reason we don't have this is because they were never together at the same time. We so deserved a song between four of them about how they are two pairs of best friends in love with the other. Suprinsingly this is never acknowledged in the show. I have a name for this so as well Amor y amistad cuadrados

Gastteo song about Luna and Nina: same reasons apply here why we didn't get this. We have Aqui Estoy as our Brotp, but I bet they definitely would have written songs together about their small little brunettes that changed their lives. They could even have Rugge and Agus write it together

Song for the Holy Trinity of Ships: just be because

Another Gastina duet: This may sound very shocking coming from me, but I am not the biggest fan of Mitad y Mitad. The lyrics are a bit too generic and could have been written for them more. Thye needed another song that is not an in-universe-cover, but song written by two of them, since Nina is super good with lyrics and Gastón is musically talented (He plays the piano).

Gastón solo: Question, why didn't we get one? He was writing his own song for the solo open, but then he just sings Profugos. There are rumors that he was supposed to have a solo that Agus wrote in S3, before he went off to do MYA. I think Agus would have been capable to write a song for himself in the earlier seasons as well. Tu Cancion from Mya would fit super well for Gastón's song for Nina

Songs that should have happened - Soy Luna

LUMBAR DUET - I can’t stress this enough, the fact that Luna and Ámbar never sing a duet together is criminal. It could have been a killer rival duet in s1. It could have been a love/hate relationship duet in s2. It could have been a “look at how far we’ve come” duet in s3. So many opportunities, and for what?

Red sharks original song - I love I’ve Got A Feeling, don’t get me wrong (and I also love their open music performance of the song), but I think these four deserved a song that wasn’t just copy pasted from the Jam&Roller

A Jim x Yam duet that actually is about their relationship - sure, Jim and Yam sung plenty of songs together, but they were usually about things that weren’t really related to the two of them, like messy dating lives and stuff. I think we should have had a song where these two just sung about their own relationship, and how much they mean to each other. It would have been great

Delfi solo song - I honestly feel so bad for Delfi in regards to her music. Like, she clearly really liked singing, and she spent over half of the show trying to find people who’d form a band with her, only for it to always fall apart. I think she should have just given up on the bands at some point, since they never worked out, and started singing solo. She could have even made her own videoclips, since we know she has editing skills

Ámbar wrap up song - something I really love about Ámbar’s songs is how well they follow her characters’ development throughout the story. Like, Mirame A Mi was the perfect embodiment of the image of herself she wanted to project in s1 (powerful, limitless, always on top), ¿Como Me Ves? and Catch Me If You Can did a great job of showing her struggles in s2 with her image vs. who she really is, her loneliness, and her desire to escape her own life, and Claroscuro totally represented her state of mind in s3… for the most part. In the beginning, yes, she had given up on even trying to be a good person and just wanted to let out the anger she’d been repressing, but as the season went by, she grew and changed a lot. By the end of the show, she totally left this mentality behind her and became a much happier and more stable person, and the fact that this final stage of her character is the only one that doesn’t get a song is pretty sad, actually

Simbar pining duet - Don’t get me wrong, I love Solos and how not disney it is, and I wouldn’t change a thing about this song. However, I’m also a hopelessly romantic idiot with an undying love for mutual pining, and I wish we had another simbar song that embodied that aspect of their relationship

A quality Luna x Nina song - I know we had Sin Fronteras but no we didn’t ❤. This song sucked, they deserved better

Love triangle songs - I don’t have anything specific in mind for this one, but this show has a number of love triangles throughout the seasons, and I think it’s a bit of a waste that none of them get a proper song that speaks directly to the situation

A Great Surprise To Come Home To

It was late at night and Nina just got home from work. Gastón was home before her and decided that instead of ordering dinner, he would cook himself. It was the first time he ever tried to do is. At first, he was very insecure about his cooking skills but Luna gave him a recipe and it was explained in a very understandable way so he could do exactly the same as she did. He was very grateful for that.

Nina was surprised to see her boyfriend cooking in the kitchen. She didn’t know what to say. “Hey, Nina, you’re home.” He said as a greeting and he smiled from ear to ear.

“What are you doing?” Nina asked with a frown on her face.

“I wanted to cook for you. I wanted us to eat something fresh instead of take-out.” He seemed very excited to do this for her.

His mood changed when he saw that worried look on her face. “Don’t worry. I had Luna help me a little.” he smiled innocently. “I kind of called her a few times to tell me what to do next.”

Nina couldn’t help but laugh. At that moment, she approached him and leaned in to kiss him slowly. “Thank you, I appreciate the effort.” Nina smiled widely.

“Okay, tonight you can relax and let me do all the work. From cooking to cleaning up.” He urged her to sit down at the dinner table. He held out the chair for her and let her sit. “Let’s eat first."After that, he went to the kitchen and brought all the food on plates to the dining room.

When she took her first bite, she was very surprised. It tasted amazing. "It’s delicious” she eventually told him.

“You’re surprised.” He observed. “You really though I couldn’t pull this off?” Gastón pretended to be shocked.

“I still remember the last time you tried to cook. I could still taste the food days after I ate it.”

“Well, I didn’t have such an amazing teacher back then.” Gastón said with a small laugh.

“Luna made the impossible possible.” Nina joked.

“You’re probably right.” He agreed jokingly.

They talked about each other’s days for the rest of the meal.

When they were done eating, Gastón stood up and walked towards Nina’s side of the table. He piut out his hand so that she would take it.

“Would you like to dance with me?”

Nina smiled and nodded. She stood up and let him lead her to the living room.

Gastón put on a slow song and put his hands on Nina’s waist and she wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned her head on his shoulder and then they were swaying along to the music.

They danced until late at night. They went to bed exhausted yet happy. They were fast asleep, content about the night they had spent together.

The next morning, they both didn’t have to go to work so they slept in late. Gastón, however, was awake earlier than Nina and decided to spoil his girlfriend a little more and he made breakfast for her. He wanted to go all out so he baked some waffles. The only thing he did know how to make.

Nina opened her eyes slowly and immediately wanted to look for Gastón to give him a good morning kiss but when she turned around in bed, he wasn’t there. She had no idea what was going on so she called out his name almost immediately and he aswered that he’ll be right there.

Nina had to get used to the bright light that was coming out of the bedroom window. So she turned her back to the window and closed her eyes for a little while longer.

After about 10 minutes, her boyfriend walked into their bedroom with a plate full of waffles.

When he saw that she fell asleep again, he gave her a kiss on the forehead to wake her up. It was the only thing that worked for her and they both knew that.

She slowly opened her eyes again to look up at Gastón, right when she was about to pull him back into bed, she saw that he was holding a plate in his hands.

Nina didn’t realize what was happening at first but when she took a second look at the plate. She noticed the waffles. “Are they for me?” She asked curiously.

“Yes, I woke up early and thought it would be nice to give you something to eat right after you wake up and I know they’re your favorite so I decided to bake some waffles.” Gastón said with a huge smile on his face.

Nina kissed him to say thank you. Gastón immediately answered the kiss. Their soft kiss turned into a deeper, more passionate one. Like they’ve been wanting to do for ages but somehow couldn’t.

She pulled away because she noticed that she was very hungry and started to eat. He sat next to her, watching her eat. Because everything she did was fascinating to him and he wished he could watch her the entire time and that they could stay in this moment full of happiness forever.
