Caught up to Gozyuger + some random screenshots + random thoughts on it so far

BoonBoom kinda burned me out by the middle of the show so I dropped it/didn't really pick Gozyu up when it started but I kept seeing more and more spoilers on my tl and it looked really cool so I decided to catch up. So far I'm loving everything about it but especially the main team. Sumino and Kinjiro are my favs and I really need that Ryugi focus ep asap I feel he has a lot of potential. It's kinda rare for me to like a full team from the start (only other times I remember that happening was Zenkaiger/Timeranger/Akibaranger/Hurricanger/Abaranger so I'm really hoping Gozyu ends up as one of my fav seasons alongside those) and really can't wait to see how the show handles the eventual brawl between the 5 of them towards the end. The main villain quartet is really funny too especially Bouquet 😭 That whole ep with the rizz battle between the motw and Rikuo was just hilarious to me (well maybe not the last part....) especially with Sumino hating every moment of it. Tega Sword is suchhhhhh a pretty mech man. I'm a bit bummed out the toy didn't carry the more advanced articulation the KingOh toyline introduced because if it did I would have tried to get it. The way the individual weapons form new modes for it is such a dope idea (I think the unicorn/tyrano ones are the best looking but I'm a sucker for centaurs and big arms on mechs so)

In general the whole show has a really cool aesthetic? I'm still not crazy for the blank circles on their chests but the suits are superrrrr nice looking in motion/the motws so far have been insanely cool (loved the half heart hand on this last one)/the mooks are some of my favs with their bell heads/the whole stuff with the battle introductions and "winner x" scenes tickle my brain in a good way.

Not sure about Garyudo so far. Idk there's something about him that doesn't hit me in the same way past evil rangers did. But he seems like he'll end up giving Hoeru good stuff character wise so I can't wait to see that!

I was a bit bummed we weren't gonna see all the Universe Warriors on screen but idk after these past 3 I'm more okay with having fewer of them if it means they have more interesting arcs? Personally I hope they somehow do an AkibaRed thing in there come on Toei.

But yeah I'm really looking forward to see how the show goes I think it's on the right track. Makes me want to try DonBros too lmfao
