Welcome to Gardensdale!

Hii! 👋

I was recently inspired by the Garden Legacy Challenge, but wasn’t up for starting another legacy challenge ... instead I created (and am still creating) Gardensdale!

Rather than working through several generations, I created a whole world of floral families. I’m dedicating this blog to lives of the whole community. Soon you’ll meet the Margot Magnolia and her twin toddlers, Mayor Peony and his wife, the Bluebell Farm family (and the pesky Iris boyfriend), The wealthy-but-criminal Gardenia sisters, the mysterious Olivia Orchid and so many more! 

To be honest, I don’t have a particular story in mind, I’m just excited about the idea of living out the story of this town with all of you through this blog.

Love Is In The Air 💖

It's Love Day in Gardensdale, kicking off the official start of Spring. 

Sims and their loved ones are celebrating all over town. Starting with Mrs. Piccolini, who every year uses her stand at the Farmers Market to sell flowers from the Bluebell farm. Mr. Piccolini is usually sitting close by for moral support.

Some sims are keeping it laid back, like Denver Daisy & Sadie Snapdragon. Their jobs keep their day-to-day lives busy, so they prefer to celebrate Love Day by staying in bed all day.

Other sims like to go all out using this day to celebrate their loved one(s). This year, Mayor Peony surprised Polly by filling her favorite room in the house with flowers! He then topped off this romantic gesture by putting on their wedding song, and slow dancing with his wife in the middle of the room.

Mr & Mrs Dahlia chose to get our of their small apartment & take a stroll at Flower Park. This is their 59th Love Day together.

Terrance Tulip & Dean Daffodil also chose to take advantage of the fresh air with a romantic date in the park. They want to enjoy every second together they can, given their seconds are limited before Dean gets deployed overseas for a full year.

Meet Diane and Dennis Dahlia!

Traits (Diane): Cheerful, Good, Neat Traits (Dennis): Bookworm, Good, Romantic  Family: Diane and Dennis have been married 59 years! They’ll be celebrating their 60th anniversary soon. Never had children. Careers: They are both retired teachers. it was how they met. They used to work at the same middle school. Dennis taught history and Diane taught English/Literature.
