"OH MY SWEET SUMMER CHILD"
Tumblr media

synopsis. when Alpha Sanzu messes with the wrong omega, he learns the hard way that karma never misses. — 1.5k words part one.
warnings. mdni, amab reader, dead dove, drugging, (Implied) bitching, degradation, dubcon (due to altered state), physical restraint, dark omegaverse, humiliation, mentions of death.
Tumblr media
alpha Sanzu who is a joke of an alpha. has little to no respect for beta’s nor omega’s, and acts like he can get whoever he wants when he wants. thinks that his looks will let him get away with harassing omegas, but karma always catches up.
alpha Sanzu who messes with the wrong omega one day and lives to regret it for the rest of his pathetic life. the omega who he had almost gone too far with was mated to the gang leader who owned the city!
            ⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽ ☆ ☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
“What the fuck is going on!?” Sanzu yells practically foaming at the mouth as he struggles against the ropes tying him to a wooden chair.
“My my… what am I going to do with such a dumb fucking alpha, practically came here willingly, with the way you jumped at the smell of omagan slick.” M/n lowly purred as he strolled into the room. his scent glands work on overdrive as he pumps it out into the bare room.
Sanzu instinctively starts to pump out his scent to try and dominate M/n’s but for some reason, his scent is a hint sweeter than usual, he makes a face but he doesn’t pay any mind to it.
“You know you're lucky that it was so easy to bring you in,” M/n face drops into a scowl. “Otherwise you would have been shot dead.”
“What are you even talking about?!” he rages, “Once I’m out of these stupid ropes I’m going to fucking gut you.” Sanzu roars with venom as he starts to growl.
M/n ignores whatever nonsense Sanzu is yapping about before sparking a lighter to light his cigar. He takes a puff before finally looking at Sanzu again. “You don’t even know why you're here… do you?” M/n says in mock pity as he lets out a quiet laugh.
Sanzu finally stops posturing and really takes in the situation. His eyes dart around the room as he notes that he has been kidnapped to an unknown second location and is trapped in a bare room with a chair, mattress, sink, and toilet.
“Where am I?” Sanzu says quietly as he finally stops pulling at his restraints. His bright pink hair falls onto his cheeks as he tilts his head slightly. This action made his eyes contrast with his hair beautifully, you could almost say he looked cute.
M/n looks at him amused by what he is trying to do. “You’re in my-” M/n cuts himself off as he hears the door open. “Actually, hold that thought…”
M/n fully turns around to meet his mate's gaze. “Love! I’m so glad you came!”, he pauses “I know it must’ve been hard for you to come… here,” M/n says in a softer tone.
Sanzu’s eyes widened as he realized who had just entered the room. A relatively short man with long black hair and equally black eyes stared blankly at Sanzu. The man's face cringes before looking away and stepping closer to M/n.
“Is this why you kidnapped me? For some no-name omega?” Sanzu questions, his face mask of disbelief and shock. This was the omega he was messing around with in that club's alleyway!
M/n’s eyes narrow sharply, his scent souring in anger. “Watch your fucking mouth, you're talking to my mate.” M/n rages on, “You put your dirty grubby hands on my mate.”
M/n clenches his fist, before letting out a quiet sigh when he feels his mate rest his hand on the small of his back. “This was the one that hurt you, yes?” M/n asks, turning to face his mate.
As soon as M/n says those words the tension in the room thickens as Sanzu’s mind races, as he tries to think of just who M/n is… did he really piss off such an important person?
The black-haired omega stiffly nods, a pinched look coming across his face. “I should’ve rocked his shit in that fucking alleyway” the omega lets out a growl, just thinking about the event made him angry.
Omagan pheromone starts flowing into the room like an angry river but, just as soon as it appears, it disappears. “Just.. leave me out of whatever you're about to do.”
Sanzu watches as the small omega struts away, he had never scented anything like that before. With pupils blown wide, he tries to come up with what it smells like but he can’t put it into words.
Why was he perceiving that omega's scent like this? He had scented him before… and he didn’t smell anything great, so why did he smell so different?
“Are you finally feeling the effects of the drugs?” m/n inquires, bending slightly to take in Sanzu’s ever-sweetening scent.
Sanzu blinked slowly, his pupils blown wide as the realization began to settle like poison in his bloodstream. His scent was sweeter. Too sweet. Like ripe fruit on the verge of rotting—cloying, wrong.
“What the fuck did you do to me?” His voice cracked as the first tendrils of fear curled around his throat.
M/n smirked, blowing out a slow stream of smoke that lingered in the air like a noose. "What do you think, Haruchiyo? Or should I say… soon-to-be Harumi?”
He crouched down to meet Sanzu’s panicked gaze, tilting his head mockingly."That’s a cute nickname, isn’t it? You better start thinking of one because you won’t be the same 'big bad alpha' much longer."
Sanzu thrashed against the ropes again, his muscles straining, but it was futile. His movements felt sluggish now, like his limbs weren’t entirely his to command. The scent swirling off him was intoxicating—too intoxicating, and the disgusting sweetness of it made bile rise in his throat.
"You drugged me?" His voice was shaky, cracking on every syllable. He wanted to sound angry, but even he could hear the fear starting to bleed through.
M/n let out a low, mocking chuckle. “Oh, it’s so much more than a drug. You see…” He leaned in close, letting the embers of his cigar illuminate his smirk.
“We’ve been working on something special for alphas like you. Arrogant pricks who think they can take whatever they want without consequence. It speeds up the shift—unlocks a side of you you’ve probably felt in your worst nightmares. You’re going to be softer, sweeter, more… submissive than you’ve ever dreamed of being. Just think of it as karma.”
Sanzu’s heart pounded in his chest as his body betrayed him further. The gummy sweetness of his scent thickened, curling around him like a noose. His mouth was dry, his skin too warm, and his thoughts felt like they were swimming in syrup.
“Fucking liar,” Sanzu spat, though it came out weaker than he intended. “You’re bluffing. This isn’t possible.”
“Oh, but it is.” M/n grinned and straightened up, casting a glance toward the door. "I thought about just killing you, you know. But, my mate is merciful, and I figured—what’s worse? Death or living the rest of your pathetic life as what you perceive to be at the bottom of society, as an omega? You’ll be crawling for scraps, begging for mercy, begging for attention.”
The sound of footsteps approaching the room pulled Sanzu from his growing panic. The door creaked open, and in stepped the omega mate once again, his dark eyes locked on Sanzu with unrelenting hatred.
“Still talking, huh?” the omega muttered. He crossed his arms, his posture deceptively casual. But his scent—it sharpened, cutting through the air like a blade. Even drugged, even in his haze, Sanzu felt the command embedded in it.
“M/n,” the omega said, his voice cool and steady, “how long does he have before it starts? The heat, I mean.”
Sanzu froze, his eyes snapping between them. The heat?
M/n looked at the omega with a knowing smile, shrugging casually. “Oh, not long now. A couple of hours, maybe? By then, he’ll be begging someone to knot him. Doesn’t even matter who.”
He exhaled more smoke, his tone darkening. “You’ll finally know what it feels like to be hunted, Haruchiyo. You’ll know what it’s like to be nothing more than a toy for someone stronger than you.”
Sanzu’s breathing turned shallow, panic clawing up his chest. “You’re lying! You can’t… You can’t fucking do this to me!” he snarled, but his voice wavered, and his pheromones betrayed his fear.
“Oh, darling,” M/n purred mockingly, leaning close enough that Sanzu could feel the heat of his breath against his ear. “I already have.”
The omega stepped closer, standing just within Sanzu’s line of sight. He tilted his head, studying him like one might a bug under a microscope. “He’s still posturing,” he said flatly. “Let me stay and watch when it starts.”
M/n arched a brow, smirking. “You’re so cruel, my love.”
The omega’s lip curled in a wicked smile. “I told you before—we should’ve killed him in that alley. But I guess watching him crumble works too.”
Sanzu wanted to snarl, wanted to roar, wanted to say something, anything that would put him back in control. But his body was growing weaker. His scent—the sickly sweetness was almost unbearable now, and the ache in his lower abdomen made his stomach churn.
He was losing.
And for the first time in his life, Haruchiyo Sanzu was terrified.

Opposites attract
who could expect that the uptight picture perfect school president to be a bitch for a delinquent. the same person who's never late to school, and gets the highest grades out of everyone in school. getting dicked down and reduced to tears after school in the bathrooms by you.
the same model president is really a slut who thirsts and drools over cock from a guy who is his exact opposite - the leader of a gang who rarely comes in to school.
so when he does tutor you you both get distracted quickly - suddenly the school president is in your lap teaching you algebra. you cant help but press kisses against his necks you get horny watching his face focus so hard. so its only natural that he gets bent over your coffee table fucked.
or him getting bitched out when he decides to act to smart around you can handle him putting on his smarter than everyone act in public but when you guys are alone. you make sure to show him his place - on your cock.

Krittika and it’s Transformation
Tumblr media
Krittika, much like Punarvasu and its renewal transformation, goes through a transformation of its own—a purification transformation. Krittika’s deity Agni represents the power of transformation, turning raw material (like offerings) into spiritual energy that connects to the spiritual and divine. Agni also represents fire, embodying its dual qualities: destructive and transformative, fire consumes but also purifies and energizes. As a purifier Agni removes impurities, both spiritual and physical. This is also a purifier of karma, symbolizing the destruction of old patterns to make way for new growth. It’s a constant cycle of transformation. Individuals of this Nakshatra are in a constant cycle of this type of growth: purification and transformation.
Tumblr media
A lot of individuals of this nakshatra are naturally independent, a lone wolf going through some type of journey through their transformation. Jeon Jong-Seo (Krittika moon native) shows a lot of this nakshatra theme through her work. Let’s take a look to better understand the theme of this nakshatra and the natives.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This nakshatra rules over liberating others, seeking justice even if it means taking revenge because of the need to be responsible for their loved ones. These natives are highly loyal to the ones they love and care for, they value family and close relationships deeply. Natives of this nakshatra are also highly persistent individuals—in fact, they are known for their persistence. They are known to have the ability to achieve their goals so when they are locked-in, they are LOCKED-IN. They often have this “no nonsense” approach.
Tumblr media
Jeon Jong-Seo’s character in Ballerina seeks revenge for a loved one that was taken from her. She is a highly skilled individual in combat and is trained with guns and knives. Krittika rules over knives and I believe other weapons as well as this nakshatra represents sharpness and to cut and separate. so she calculates a plan to infiltrate the gang that were messing with her friend. She fights everyone that is a part of the gang until she takes the leader down personally. Along the way she rescues a kid and finds out that this gang is linked to a trafficking ring. So she plans to get justice for not only her friend but the woman that were trafficked by this gang. Persistent and locked-in. Krittika natives tend to be intense in this aspect. Especially when seeking justice.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Being that this nakshatra is represented by the sheep as it is its yoni animal. I made the observation of this nakshatra being the complete opposite of the innocent sheep yoni. That it is anything but innocent, being the saying “a sheep in wolfs clothing”. Which is not a bad thing at all, these natives are resilient and determined individuals that are natural leaders. If anything, when I say that they are a “sheep in wolfs clothing” I mean that they are underestimated, people perceive them as prey instead of predator. They don’t realize that these natives are predators until it is too late or until they’ve realized that they’ve messed with or bullied the wrong person.
Tumblr media
Throughout the movie Jeon Jong-Seo’s character is in a constant state of transformation, going through cycles of purification. She gets rid of several toxic individuals (the gang members to be exact). An at the end we see more of this purification with fire as she takes out the leader himself.
Tumblr media
Furthermore, krittika natives are said to be quite resilient individuals. Burning away any illusions and consuming what is offered to them with intention. Having the ability to see what is in front of them and cut through any falsehood. This purification and transformation allow these individuals to heal past trauma, pain, and embrace renewal wholeheartedly.

luv this shit. kirishima e.
Tumblr media
imagine kirishima,
fresh out of prison, a million red tattoos and scars both old and new covering his body.
his black roots showing through his dyed red hair.
and his muscles being fucking massive since while he was in there he refused to have anyone mess with him.
imagine him always being able to get it up easy for you because he really doesn’t know how long he’ll be away in prison if he goes again.
“you wan’ fuck?”
“yes eiji”
and when y’all do he always keeps your legs on his shoulders because he likes to hear the anklet he night with his name on it jangle in his ear.
imagine him taking over the gang him and his friends made him highschool since their leader, you think his name was..katsuki? was put in an international prison and he wouldn’t be out for a long while.
eijirou only being able to see you at night because he was, “handlin’ business” in the day. but he always insisted on buying you gifts constantly with money he wouldn’t tell you where he got because he “separates his love life and work life.”
you barely even knew anything about his job or gang other than he gets paid a lot of money, they’re one of the most ruthless gangs and what they do they can’t talk about.
so he doesn’t really talk about who’s following you in a dark tinted car and staying outside your house at all times, he just mutters “protection.” or “sero.” … who the hell is sero?!
or when your co-worker starts hitting on your and insisting on taking you out comes to work hysteric all beat up and yelling that he’s quitting you already know not to ask eijirou.
or even when your neighbor that always makes conversation and makes nasty jokes about you goes missing you know good and well to just shut your mouth.
“dunno..karma came n got him i guess..”
imagine him coming to your apartment one night, standing at your door in a orange jumpsuit and handcuffs all beat up and bloody with a toothy smirk and a kiss when you open the door for him.
“eiji what’re you doing what if someone sees you?!”
“relax mama, jus’ tell em we roleplayin’ “
and you reluctantly let him in because you know he’s smart enough to take the feds off his back for at least a couple months, one time they couldn’t find him for like 3 years!
but at the end of the day he loves you and he really wouldn’t do anything to put you in harm or have you too worried about him because a true man wouldn’t make his girl worry. <3

"Cmon in, there are still several bodies left for you to pick,"
I rubbed my hands in excitement. What a banger, Callum and Fahd indeed said about plotting a revenge over our destroyed council estate. But I didn't expect that the revenge plotted involve gathering bodies from all over the city for us to slid into. Callum is clearly no longer a 19 years old estate lad since he slid himself inside the field commander of a fucking Colombian drug empire that everyone feared in the city. And as we walked through the house, it's clear that it's not just bunch of criminal overlord or outlaws that he, Fahd and the others managed to gather, it really is a mix of everyone that might be beneficial for our plot to dish out the revenge to those bunch of stupid thugs that destroyed our houses and family-owned business. For example, laid in the sofa is the pharmaceutical magnate and political megadonor eldest son, Peter Zheng, clearly passed out and then turned into a husk after his yet another drunken night that already placed his recluse father into the spotlight one too many times
Tumblr media
In the opposite couch, there's literally the sleeping form of the more notorious biker's gang leader, Wyatt Robinson
Tumblr media
I even witnessed the city's police chief and two councillor I know overseeing the thugs area passionately exchanged spits in one of the more private corner of the house
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But eventually, when I watched this stud being fucked mercilessly by one of the newer neighbor of mine in the estate, I know I wanted that piece of hunk sprawled in bed moaning uncontrollably.
Tumblr media
He seems out of his mind and for such an eloquent prick, looking at him at such stage turned me on in ways I never imagined I would be. I poked Callum's biceps to indicate that I want the hunk, so Callum just coughed a bit to let the guy fucking my prized stud know that he's being watched. He just looked at me and Callum and sighed, as he slid his cock out of the tight hole of the guy I wanted and put his pants back on
"Enjoy the stud,"
And just like that, he left me and Callum with the writhing hunk in bed
"Okay, go put him on and meet me downstairs in.....30 minutes, that's supposedly enough to know him and let his memories accessible to you,"
So here I am, left alone in a corner second-floor bedroom since a couple minutes ago with an out-of-mind hunk sprawled in bed, ready to be used by me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I of course kept my mouth shut and I'm pretty sure no one knew about our relationship, but he's my former boss when I worked at the nightclub, and also an abusive ex of mine. I cannot help but smiled gleefully seeing him clearly not in his senses, maybe this is what they call as karma, and I cannot wait for the kind of revenge we will unleash to those bastard that burned down our estate as we get ourselves inside these folks

If you combine the RDR2 epilogue with RDR1, while the series is still about John Marston’s redemption, the epilogue expands the scope by asking the question, “Can John put away his guns for good?”
Because the RDR2 epilogue was all about how John just couldn’t get away from gunfights. Although you can argue that he was pushed into those fights with the Laramies, you can also see Abigail’s perspective in that the fights were putting their family at risk. So, when Abigail leaves, John is forced to really consider if he can put the guns away for good. If he can actually pull off being a rancher. To his credit, he does try.
He gets the bank loan, he builds the house with Uncle and Charles, and he learns how to properly manage the property. Because of his efforts, Abigail and Jack come back. But even so, John just can’t put the guns away because he’s driven by revenge against Micah Bell. Although he gets his payback, he’s punished for it by Edgar Ross tracking him down. Ironically, karma bit both Micah and John here.
So, RDR1 continues the question of whether John can put the guns away for good. It’s here where he’s almost reached that point. But now, he’s being tested on whether he’ll be tempted back into a life of an outlaw, back into a life involving violence and danger. Despite everything that’s thrown his way, John continues his path of redemption/putting his guns away for good:
1) He’s put into the role of a lawman and is pitted against Bill’s gang, essentially forcing him to be on the other side of the outlaws’ violence against others. It’s through this that John swears off from the outlaw life for good, especially when he sees just how awful Bonnie MacFarlane and her family were treated.
2) Javier tries to use nostalgia of the “good ole days” to win John over. It doesn’t work since John doesn’t want the good ole days, especially since he has a bright future with Abigail and Jack. The Mexico arc was, in general, about torn loyalties. John was playing both sides of the war and Javier tried to sway John based on their past friendship. Despite this, John stays true to his convictions. He doesn’t want the life of an outlaw anymore, nor does he want to keep shooting people anymore (he even says he’s getting tired of pulling the trigger!), so he rejects the nostalgia of the old gang.
3) Dutch challenged John over his desire to change. Dutch believed change was impossible and that John would “always” be a gunslinger. He can’t be a rancher, it’s just not what nature intended. John, once again, sticks to his convictions. In fact, despite all of his anger towards Dutch, he refused to shoot him. John can shoot Bill and Javier, but it’s Dutch who he refuses to shoot. When I first played this, I thought it was his fondness over Dutch as his former leader. Now, I’m wondering if it’s also John trying to prove his point. That he CAN change, that he CAN put the guns away. So he does, even when he had Dutch cornered.
Then came the final challenge. Jack Marston brings up the topic of “the day John Marston stopped shooting”. What will it take? John finally does, but in more than one way. Obviously, he puts the guns away since he dies. But John could’ve easily escaped. We’ve done it as the player multiple times. But if he did, it would be a return to a life on the run, a life where Abigail and Jack would always be in danger. The same life that made Abigail take Jack and leave John in the RDR2 epilogue. Everything he’s worked for, all the progress he made in changing his life would be ruined.
So, John makes the hard choice. He sacrifices himself to ensure his family would be safe. He refuses to return to the outlaw life, to a life where he has to shoot at people, even if it means his death. And what is the last thing John does?
He throws away his gun.

could you please write how the curtis/shepards gang would react to papercut getting homophobic comments when they’re out together
ALLLRIGHT SO☝🏽☝🏽
the shepard gang ill say has mixed reactions??? let me make it clear that i think most of the shepard gang deals w toxic masculinity, some of them r homophobic, some of em rlly aint, but i dont rlly think theyre coming to their defense!! if tim SAID so, yea if course but thats inly bc 1) hes their leader, what he says goes 2) i dont think tims that kinda guy (ill go into depth bout that later) 3) i dont think they rlly care for curly like that to beat someone up for him on their own accord yknow??? to them, curlys the equivalent of a nepo baby!!!!
so while not all of em is exactly homophobic, i dont think they think highly enough of curly to care and some of em would join in on it, they dont rlly gaf bout pony
w tim, id say he does care, but a few of the reasons r more selfish???? like yes he cares for curlys image, but also his own rep. and then when it comes to ACTUALLY doing something about it, i cant see him going outta his way to actually beat someone up for JUST that, like yea hes mad about it, but he would honestly just keep that in minda and have one big planned attack for the countless other stuff the person did, when it comes to tim, i feel like just the idea that tims mad w em would already kinda spook em
is angela part of the shepard gang???? technically shes an unofficial member so ill add her here<333 dont rlly need to think much about this one, shes def getting her revenge for curly, shes the kinda girl who wants karma immediately
nowwwww when it comes to the curtis gang!!!
i think they all address the issue in their own way
two bit/soda/johnny- not interested in fighting them as much as they r interested in making pony feel better and secure in himself
darry- hes not gonna fight the person, cant rlly afford to and hes not that kinda guy, would try to teach pony to just shake it off, but the problem is hes seen as #theemasculinestandard, so he doesnt understand that its harder than hes saying it is, hes not saying its EASY, but hes making it seem easiER
now when it comes to dally, steve, and two, i could totally see them not VENTURING out for the guy, but if they bump into em, they cause problems in the name of pony🙏🏽🙏🏽
im srry this took so long i was busy😭😭

𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘪'𝘭𝘭 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘦 - 𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦𝘥
Tumblr media
౨ৎ ⋆。˚ SPOILERS FOR KANTO MANJI ARC , no shipping, just a lyric fic explaining how everyone involved is gonna save mikey ( including you !! ) , reader is baji’s gn! twin ( relevant to the plot ) , i was listening to the soundtrack and had this literally play out in my head as the song went, so i hope i do it justice .
౨ৎ ⋆。˚ A/N : im actually so excited about this OMG.
౨ৎ ⋆。˚ IMPORTANT EXTRA NOTES :
manjiro’s lyric lines - purple .
senju’s lyric lines - red .
chifuyu’s lyric lines - blue .
your lyric lines - pink .
takemichi’s lyric lines - green .
irrelevant/background lyric lines - white .
Tumblr media
♬ any moment now , your highness .
mikey looks around the “ arena ” that the battle was going to take place in. a speck of wonder crosses the blondes mind.
what was takemichi thinking? why had he returned from the future?
regardless, the sounds of footsteps began to ring through his ears.
♬ be lieve me i know , i’ve suck pretty low .
♬ but whatever i’ve done , you deserved .
♬ ( varien ! )
♬ ( quiet ! )
his mind hazes with uncertainty. manjiro’s body shakes ever so slightly.
no matter what, he must not falter.
he warned them all, to steer clear of his everlasting karma.
alas, they block his desperates pleas out.
♬ i’m the bad guy , that’s fine .
♬ it’s no fault of mine and some justice at last will be served .
♬ ( please listen )
manjiro knows deep down that no matter how hard the beg of him, he can’t return to his original character. things change you in ways you can’t truly comprehend until you’ve lived it yourself.
he wishes for more then anything to run into anyone’s arms.
anyone in toman’s arms would do.
his brothers arms would do. his sisters arms would suffice.
baji’s arms even.
♬ now it’s time to step up or it’s time to stand down .
♬ and there’s only one answer for me .
alas, the blond lifts his head a little higher. after all, doubt gets you nowhere.
he can only look forward, otherwise everyone left alive is at stake.
♬ and i’ll stand up and fight ‘cause i know that i’m right .
♬ and i’m ready , i’m ready , i’m ready .
the tokyo manji flag can be ever so slightly seen with the numerous yet limited footsteps loom closer.
danger is sensed in manjiro’s head.
he can feel it, touch it, caress it all he wants.
but danger halts for nobody.
♬ ready as i’ll ever be .
♬ now it’s time to rise up or it’s time to stand down .
♬ and the answer is easy to see .
only a few hours prior, with all of the next generation of the tokyo manji gang members present, senju stands tall with both you and takemichi by her side.
she knows the blonde will not put up an easy fight, and with so strong yet so little people against their godly force, high morale is a little difficult to seep through everybody.
♬ and i swear by the sword , if you’re in get on board .
♬ are you ready ?
♬ i’m ready ! we’re ready ! ( we’re ready )
senju feels no doubt in her heart that no matter the fear amongst the original members, that they will prevail for the sake of their beloved old leader.
they will pull through for manjiro sano.
♬ ready as i’ll ever be .
♬ are you quite sure we can do this ?
chifuyu leans gently into your side as to lower his voice.
he knows how deeply you treasure mikey.
with how close baji and mikey were, not to mention sanzu also against them, it would be hard for you to fight against someone you considered family .
alas, you only smiles gently at his concern.
♬ together , we will guarantee .
“i’ll be okay, chifuyu. i appreciate your concern.” you reassure him.
you weren’t lying when you said that you appreciated his worries, however you weren’t sure if you would truly be able to land a hit on mikey.
the boy was there for you through thick and thin. with you comforting him through his brothers passing and him returning the favour with your twin brothers death, you felt your heart ache ever so harshly.
regardless, you had to persevere. for mikey’s sake, and for your friends sake.
♬ i’ll make them hear me (now it’s time to redeem or it’s time to resolve )
with manjiro sano , harychiyo sanzu and kokonoi hajime standing in front of the three of you, you felt your body shudder at the blondes glare that was directed at you.
♬ prove they can trust me ( and the outcome will hardly come free )
senju grasps your hand lightly, her own brother staring her down like she’s worthless. nothing but a setback in his eyes.
you smiled back at her before you both proudly stood next to takemichi. she had always been your #1 supporter, regardless of history.
♬ i’ll save my home and family .
with all the courage you could muster, you stared back into mikey’s soulless sockets. nothing but heartbreak and fear filled his sorrowful expression.
you knew in that moment, that you needed to rescue your brother.
you had already lost one, you couldn’t afford to loose another.
♬ now the line’s in the sand and our moments at hand .
♬ and i’m ready .
♬ i’m ready .
♬ i’m ready .
with a pool of silence overtaking the battlefield, manjiro sano turns to takemichi hanagaki for the signal.
the signal that a battle was about to commence.
♬ ready as i’ll ever be .

ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!! 💐🎂 Anyway, how compatible would Karma be with an MC who leads a biker gang?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I'M SO SORRY I WISH I SAW THIS SOONER BUT
HAPPY BELATED BDAY ANON!!! I HOPE YOU HAVE/HAD A WONDERFUL DAY. REMEMBER U R SPECIAL AND UR BDAY IS A REMINDER OF THAT. MWAH
Tumblr media
Also.
Hold up? Did you say biker gang?
Wow! It seems as though you know Karma pretty well - since he was a leader of a biker gang in his teens. So to know that you lead a biker gang is so fucking cute and adorable, that he may vomit rainbows and stars. Although his experiences with biker gangs were uhm...something, I'm pretty sure that won't stop him from supporting you. Besides, once they know that THE Karma Sangre is your boyfriend - any rival biker gang will just. Poof. No longer be in your direction.
Additionally, he'll happily rival you in biker race or two (unfortunately, he always wins that), and just go full on punk/goth mode on you. Or, he'll follow whatever aesthetic you have and slowly match your outfits. Cause he's quirky like that!
The only reason he might not get involved as much is because his family has eyes everywhere. So it'll take time for him to actually go outside without feeling paranoid. Tah dah!!!

Round 4, Match 7: Dadan vs. Korosensei
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Submitted kids:
Dadan: Luffy, Ace, and Sabo
Korosensei: Nakamura Rio, Kimura Justice, Hara Sumire, Takebayashi Kotaro, Hayami Rinka, Chiba Ryunsuke, Ristu, Horibe Itona, Terasaka Ryoma, Hazama Kirara, Muramatsu Takuya, Yoshida Taisei, Okajima Taiga, Mimura Koki, Sugaya Sosuke, Fuwa Yuzuki, Okano Hinata, Kurahashi Hinano, Yada Toka, Kataoka Meg, Okuda Manami, Kanzaki Yukiko, Sugino Tomohito, Maehara Hiroto, Isogai Yuma, Akabane Karma, Shiota Nagisa, Kayano Kaede
Propaganda under the cut!
Dadan:
“Dadan didn't even WANT these kids, goddamnit! She's a small-time leader of a gang of mountain bandits, she didn't want some big-shot Vice Admiral rolling up to her and blackmailing her to take care of his shitty grandkid and the son of the Pirate King! Then those little brats had to make friends with another homeless brat and now she's got three kids to take care of!
But despite them being a handful, she loves those boys. She raised them, bathed them, fed them. She ran into a gargantuan inferno to save Ace and Luffy, then she and Ace fought a pirate captain together. They won, but Dadan suffered horrible burns. When they heard about Sabo's murder, Ace was about to run off to avenge him before Dadan stopped him and told him to get strong before he even thinks of dying.
When Ace left to be a pirate, he sent a letter thanking Dadan, and she broke down in tears. When Luffy left to be a pirate, he told Dadan he hates bandits but likes them, and she broke down in tears again. When she heard about Ace's execution, she pushed past her fear of Garp to beat him up for not saving his grandson, crying in sympathy for how Luffy must be feeling. When she heard about Luffy's return, she celebrated.”
Korosensei:
“the anime is about how he helps an entire class of kids who do bad in school by actually listening to them and giving them each individual attention in helping them to improve their grades. he learns about their interests to connect with them, and never looks down on them or believes them to be lesser because of their academic status.”

My Winter 2024 Watchlist & Opinions
The feared time has come. After avoiding this post like the plague, I finally put myself to write my pretty unnecessary thoughts on this season that's departing next week or so.
Admittely, it wasn't that big of a deal, but that might be because the bigger titles will come out the following season? (Should I also make a post about that?)
Anyway, let's get started!
Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu 2nd Season
Comedy, Romance, Slice of Life // ☆☆☆☆
CW: cringey teenagers
Here, we one again get to follow our favorite middle school duo—the edgy boy and the gluttony in human form—as they grow up and find out just how complicated being a teen can be. Awkwardness, idiots and cutsie romance ensured!
This series is just so damn adorable, man! And awkward, holy fuck it can be awkward. But being a teenager is, in big part, going through the cringiest phases possible to cleanse the karma of a lifetime, so is that a bad quality or an amazing depiction of real life?
Anyway, my guys are back and I can't explain just how happy I am about it! I'm usually not that fond of school romances since, well, they tend to be too immature for what I'm currently looking for. This was made especially obvious since I began watching more and more series centered around adult characters.
But this series is quite different—they're immature, yes, but it's not as annoying as they tend to be. You know why? Because they found out about this thing called communication. Yes, they're not the greatests at it, but at least they're trying!
I've been thinking on checking the manga out, although I haven't decided yet. If anyone here has read it/is up to date, should I get into it or wait until next season comes out?
BUCCHIGIRI?!
Action, Supernatural // ☆☆
CW: big ammounts of cringe
Arajin Tomoshibi's reunion with his old pal Matakara Asamine takes an unexpected turn when they stumble into a brawl with the toughest guys in town. And just when you thought things couldn't get weirder, a colossal genie decides to drop in. Brace yourself for the ultimate showdown. It's the clash of the cool and the magical!
(Yes, I stole the summary from AniList. Couldn't bother to write something down for this one).
This series comes from Utsumi Hiroko—the same woman who worked on Free! and Banana Fish, the mind behind SK8; one of my biggest comfort shows. And honestly, it shows!
Because BUCCHIGIRI?! is an amalgamation of all her previous ones.
You have the childhood friend pair composed of the Gentle Giant™ (who's quite literally Makoto 2.0, personality and appareance wise) and a dude who has only one goal in life—for Haru, it was to swim free style. For Arajin, is to get laid. And no, I'm not kidding.
Then you get the delinquents (I refuse to call them gangs. They remind me too much to the Tokyo Revengers guys, and I despise that show) and their corresponding leaders—the fruity freak (who I love, ngl) with the obssesive, brocon little sister (who I despise, ngl), the big ass bitch whose age's unknown but seems too old to be hanging around teens, and later on we get a guy who reminds me a lot of Jamil from Twisted Wonderland only that he's utterly pathetic, a professional crybaby and, overall, unbearable—entirely different from my totally cool and more than respectable guy.
There's not much to say about the rest of the cast since they're forgettable to a fault, having little to not charisma. Expect for the skirt guy, he's neat.
When it comes to the supernatural side of things, ugh. The dude who follows Arajin around is exasperating and so cringey I tend to skip fowards when I know a joke—the joke, the only thing he knows besides fighting—is coming.
Speaking of which, the fight scenes are cool, MAPPA doing their best as always. I just wish they would beat up Arajin more often (and that he didn't have to scream his primal urges every time he's going for a punch).
And, for fuck's sake, don't get me started on Arajin. He's the worst protagonist this woman has ever come out with—zero charisma, a total asshole, a terrible friend, and a guy who'd make you want to die if he ever got a crush on you.
I'll cut it here since it's getting too long and I don't wanna get into spoiler territory (in case anyone cares about that), but yeah. I don't recommend, at all. Go watch her other shows instead.
Dungeon Meshi
Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy // ☆☆☆¾
CW: blood, death, violence
While exploring a dungeon, the adventurer Laios and his party are confronted by and lose against a red dragon—they're left without money, provisions and Laios' sister. But not everything is lost, since they can still save her while the creature digests its food. The problem is, they can't fight with an empty stomach!
The best show of the season, hands down. Not like it had much competition to begin with, but anyway.
When I first heard about the show's plot, I admit it, it didn't call me at all. But certain someone (*cough* @arataka-reigen *cough*) convinced me to give it a try. And here we are!
Honestly, I haven't had a laugh like this with an anime in so long! Not only because of the jokes, but the characters are perfectly designed for the viewer to laugh with and, most importantly, at them. I actually have the theory that they're the ones responsible for the BUCCHIGIRI?! cast's lack of charisma. I mean, they had to steal it from somewhere—is too much!
From what I know, more characters are yet to appear (I saw a catgirl and, as a cat lover, I just gotta see the catgirl) and the story gets darker with time (in case episode eleven wasn't enough hint for you).
I can't wait to see what this story has to offer next!
Gekai Elise
Comedy, Fantasy, Romance // ☆☆½
CW: tracheotomies without gloves
In seek of redemption, Takamoto Aoi becomes a doctor to help those who she would've either mistreated or ignored in her past life. Sadly, she gets involved in a plane crash and dies—only to wake up as her past self, ten years before her demise! She'll now look to become a surgeon once again, in the hopes of changing her fate.
If I had to describe it with one word, it would be meh.
The characters, the plot, the romance—it's all pretty average. A wet piece of cardboard is way more interesting than the entire cast and the story put together. The love story is whatever, not engaging enough to get me interested on their scenes.
What I would've liked is if they went on and changed the affections names for something more fantasy-ish or that has to do with the world in which they live in—I highly doubt these people knew about the existence of Dr. James Parkinson, so why would they name a disease after him? That sorta thing, you know?
But anyways, basic ass story with basic ass characters, and I'm a fool for having given it a chance.
And if I may ask, where the hell is the lamp?!
HIGH CARD Season 2
Action, Fantasy // ☆☆½
CW: cultural appropiation (?), blood, some violence
The High Card team keeps on fighting to mantain peace in the city, all meanwhile some of its members are still dealing with past consequences. But when new trouble surrounding the cards surges, they have to get to work to save the day once again!
Look, if the summary ain't shit is mainly because this show has me so uninspired. The only reason why I didn't steal it from AniList is because it doesn't have one.
In case anyone wonders why I'm still watching this show, same. I guess season one wasn't that bad for me to go and drop it, so I decided to give it a second chance. Do I regret it? Mmh, kinda.
To be honest, it's not entirely bad. I mean, it's certainly worst than its predecessor, but it had an interesting section that had me paying a little more attention than usual for like, two episodes or so. And then it lost me again.
The section I'm talking about is around episodes five to seven, where—and spoiling as little as I can—things get rather dramatic. It felt like a cry for help disguised as character growth that did nothing, absolutely nothing, to the characters themselves. They could've skipped those episodes and it would've been business as usual.
In the first two episodes we get introduced to his superhero-like guy who loves spitting random words in Spanish and, no, he's not even Hispanic. Then, he proceeded to not appear for the rest of the season. At least for now, we're currently in episode ten. But even if he were to appear once again, I don't think there's enough time to develop him or create a plot surrounding his cringey ass.
Also, and this might be petty as hell: they never explain why the cards look like the poker ones? I mean, they shared the lore behind them, yet that didn't explain this? How did they come out with the cards' and combination's names if they're supposed to not be poker related?
Hime-sama, "Goumon" no Jikan desu
Comedy, Fantasy // ☆☆¼
CW: none
Amidst the war between their kingdoms, the Princess is captured and imprisoned by the demons alongside her mythical sword and companion, Excalibur. It all seems grim for these two but, when the time comes around, the demons' torture methods seem a bit... gourmet?
I came into this show solely because of the trailer. What can I say? It looked nice. And to be honest, the entires series does.
These type of shows don't tend to be my cup of tea, but I thought it could turn out to be something similar to Maou-jou de Oyasumi—something that doesn't catch me at first, yet its second half leaves me wanting some more of those charismatic characters (Twilight my beloved).
The problem here is that God, it's repetitive. This series has one sole formula and will repeat it till the end of times, with barely some exceptions.
As LunarEquinox would put it, "it not her being tortured, it's you being tortured by repitition".
Kyuujitsu no Warumono-san
Comedy, Slice of Life // ☆☆☆½
CW: none
Planet Earth and its habitants are in danger; they've become the main target of an evil intergalactic organization who seeks to rule the world! The Rangers do everything in their power to defend the citizens from the General—but today's his day off.
Another fluffly, non plot-centric series. But this one I'm quite fond of.
I guess it's because I really like the «gap moe» concept? The difference between the protagonist's intimidating and powerful look at work and his casual, awkward and panda-obsessed self once he's home it's pretty adorable. It's like he goes from being a lion to one of those long ass domestic cats who'd let you hold him if close enough—only that I think he's supposed to be a lizard(?) of some sorts.
But it's not only him; you also get to see his coworkers with are all very formidable, and even the Rangers themselves. Red having no sense of orientation whatsoever is too relatable, I hate it here.
Not much to say, really. It's just a show about a long ass dude on a trenchcoat whose (most probably, undiagnosed) autism gets him to buy anything panda-related. If he were to become the ruler of the new world, I wouldn't oppose to it.
Loop 7-kaime no Akuyaku Reijou wa, Moto Tekikoku de Jiyuu Kimamana Hanayome Seikatsu wo Mankitsu Suru
Fantasy, Romance // ☆☆☆¾
CW: violence, mentions of war
Rishe Irmgard Weitzner, a duke's daughter, has lived many lives—and it's not a saying. For the past few decades, she's been trapped in a timeloop where her engagement gets called off at age fifteen and, from then fowards, she's decided to go down different paths. A merchant, a doctor, a maid—whatever called her attention. Is in her seventh time she become subject of the affections of infamous crown prince, Arnold Hein—the very same man who'd killed her in one of her past lives as a knight. When he asks Rishe to become his wife, she decides to utilize her every skill to avoid the upcoming war.
This one's different from the others, in the sense that I wasn't there when the first episode premiered. I guess it hadn't caught my attention (and the way they colored the hairs looked so bad to me at times, and still does). But again, certain someone began posting about it and I couldn't help myself.
I found this series to be a tad more interesting than the average female public-centric fantasy series. They actually cared to build an appealing plot with its politics and all, while also giving us an attractive main couple whose chemistry is quite nice. I like it when the characters banter, they go back and forth a little bit, but still show feelings for each other—is entertaining, isn't it?
While it's not my favorite series from this season, I do find it highly recommendable—independently of whether you're already into this type of shows or you'd like to give them a try.
Majo to Yajuu
Action, Adventure, Drama, Fantasy // ☆☆
CW: violence, blood
A guy carrying a coffin alongside his companion appear in a town, searching for the witch who cursed her and fighting some others in the meantime.
I love dark fantasy stories, so when I stumbled upon this show it grabbed my attention almost immediately. The whole concept of wiches, curses and different types of magic has always been a concept I quite enjoy. When it's well done, that is.
What Majo to Yajuu brings to the table is an uninspired series that unapologetically grabs concepts from other stories similar in concept, and doesn't even try to do anything new with them. The magic system is has is so average and uninteresting, and the same happens with the different conflicts that surround the main plot.
And even when it is supposed to have a more mature tone, there are times where they spoon feed you basic information as if you were too stupid to comprehend the intricacies of something you've seen multiple timesnot even in other places, but in the same show, even the same episode.
The characters are heavily boring, the main duo being the most salvable of all. They do have some chemistry, but it's just not enough.
Anyways, just another letdown.
Metallic Rouge
Action, Mystery, Sci-Fi // ☆½
CW: violence
In a future where humankind coexists with androids called Neans, a group of them known as the Immortal Nine rises to cause havoc in society. Rouge, a Nean, alongside investigator Naomi are tasked with going all the way to Mars to stop them.
Also known as Bones' 25th Anniversary project, Metallic Rouge arrived to put many interesting question on the table—question that have been talked about multiple times in movies and series revolving androids and robots, yet is always cool to see what different authors have to say about the matter.
Sadly, the way they decide to manage the story is quite futile when it comes to enjoyment. That is, they decided to take the "show, don't tell" narrative route—something we've seen in series like Tengoku Daimakyou, and damn if it worked there. The thing is that this narration style is rather complicated, and can't be saved if done wrong.
Well, guess what happened?
Whether it's the scripwriters' fault or not, I've no idea. The only thing I know for sure is that they fucked up. The give you little to no information, which doesn't help the viewer to try solving the mystery by themselves nor succeeds at keeping them engaged. The only thing attractive enough are the fight scenes, but they become more are more scarse as the episodes go on. Is then when the staff realizes they messed things up, and as a result you get episode nine—a huge ass info dump, with twists that no one would've been able to guess since they hadn't given us enough hints to even get a hunch of what could be going on.
An absolute mess and a masterful class on how not to do things.
Ninja Kamui
Action, Adventure, Drama, Sci-Fi // ☆☆☆¾
CW: death, fire, blood, violence
Higan is a retired ninja who lives in hiding with his family in rural America. One night, assassins from his former organization end up slaughtering both his wife and son due to him breaking their ancient code. Now seeking for revenge, Higan goes back to his old ways in the means to make them pay.
This one is such a wild ride! From the same director who worked on Jujutsu Kaisen's first season, we get an action-packed revenge series.
Yes, it might not be the most original or complex plot of all times, yet that's not its main focus. What it is its main focus are the fight scenes which are absolutely amazing, so fluid and entertaining. You won't be able to take your eyes from the screen!
Even then, the characters are compelling enough for you to either root for them or hope for the hero to end their lives once and for all.
This series is an absolute banger and no one should sleep on it!
Ore dake Level Up na Ken
Action, Adventure, Fantasy // ☆☆½
CW: death, violence, blood, edgelords
After being slaughtered by monsters in a dungeon that was far from matching his rank, Jinwoo, or "the weakest Hunter of all" as called by many others, wakes up only to find out he now that the "System" by his side. This program that only he can see will help him do the impossible—level up.
So here we are, huh.
The biggest anime this season, and it's a fucking power fantasy with extra steps. I swear to God...
Jinwoo is a boring ass piece of wet cardboard, which is meant for the viewer to find it easier to self-insert as him. Those around him are either beings with no personality at all, default mean guys, or the love interest that just has to be there to tell us just how cool and attractive the protagonist has become—not like we needed her for that, since everyone is a simp for that guy for some hell of a reason—and to be saved because she'd be dead without him.
The only thing worth your time would be the action scenes, but since they depend so much on the viewer's hype, and that mainly comes from those who root for the protagonist, it just doesn't work on me.
This shit's boring, man.
Yubisaki to Renren
Romance, Slice of Life // ☆☆☆½
CW: ableism
Yuki is just your average college student who struggles with classes as one does. One day, she gets helped in the train by an upperclassman named Itsuomi. That's when he finds out that she's actually deaf.
One of the most hyped up series from this season, and for good reasons. Not only is a shoujo—sadly, this series don't tend to get anime adaptations as often as their counterparts—, but is a rather well known one.
To the surprise of no one, this is one fluffy series! The characters are all charismatic and sweet, some more than others, and their personalities and struggles feel very human.
The romance is adorable, although I have it hard to not see Itsuomi as someone who's trying to complete a dating speedrun—might be my demi ass, but they've known each other for like, what, two to three months? And they're already dating?
Yuki's deafness is touched upon with such respect, except for when Oushi opens his fucking mouth. I don't know if it's him or the author themself who sugarcoats his ableism as if it came from sheer worry for her future, but saying deaf people should stay at home is in no way a cool thing to say or think. I doubt he'll stay like this forever, but warning you just in case it results uncomfortable for someone.
To end on a more positive note, I love the fact that they center so much around the character's lip movements! It just feels right for the themes that the series touches upon.
Yuuki Bakuhatsu Bang Bravern
Action, Comedy, Mecha // ☆☆☆½
CW: violence, war, torture (it's just one scene)
In a world where the military utilizes mechas as weapons, Oahu island, where both the Japanese and American troops are located at the moment, gets attacked by an unknown, intergalatic enemy. They'll now have to join forces to defend the planet.
I think it was Mother's Basement's video that convinced me to give this show a chance and, honestly? I don't quite regret it. After all, I like parodies and mechas, so why not combine both?
Given, I haven't watched every mecha anime there is out there—and with that, I mean that I've yet to watch Gundam which I think was a major inspiration for this one series. But even if you haven't watched it either, that doesn't mean you won't get to enjoy it.
It does make references to the genre's different tropes, yeah, but it serves as a standalone. The comedy works even if it's your first mecha series since some scenes are just so absurd.
The characters are cool, each and every one of them having enough charisma for you to be able to remember them through the entire season. They all have enough chemistry with each other to make their bonds belieable.
With time, the series starts leaving the comedy aspect aside and gets more centered around its actual plot—although the laughs never truly leave. And it actually works, which I admit surprised me a bit.
A series curious enough I think you should give it a chance.

do u have any renegades ocs??
I DO I DO!!! I never got to talk much about them but @honey-hippie-harper and I ✨love✨ going nuts with fanchildren haha so in case anyone's interested, the OCs list goes something like this:
Spouses for Tamaya, Kasumi and Evander, as well as their respective fanchildren (actually the only ones we got to introduce were Evander's wife and son, though in an AU where he gets to live we ended up giving them a daughter too :))
The Council's families as in, their parents and siblings for the sake of backstory
Same for the Anarchists
Fanchildren for Nodrian, Osby*** and Dannissa
An OC girlfriend for Callum and their respective fanchildren ofc
Said fanchildren's Renegades teams, their romantic partners, + other Renegades teams who are involved with them
(For example, Nodrian's older children are twin girls, one of them dating a boy and the other one dating a girl. Said boy and girl are leaders of their respective teams so ofc we had to create OCs for said teams)
We like to call that generation "Young Renegades" :))
Minor Anarchists and Renegades, if I remember correctly
*** Special mention to Osby's older child bc they're the true main character of the YR:
Name's Terracotta "Terry" Silva-Tucker, She/He/They genderfluid menace
Their gift is "Dimensional Travel" which means in-world they travel via portals and that's how they fight criminals
However, the full reach of their power is that they can use it to travel to another dimensions, and by that I mean Terry can (and has) travel(ed) to all the other universes created by MM (TLC, Heartless, Instant Karma, Gilded...) as well as any of our AUs
Bc the only thing Dawnie and I love more than creating fanchildren, is creating AUs haha, so Terry often makes appearences in our fanfic/comic AUs
The characters from the main Renegades universe are aware of that, while their versions from the many AUs don't know Terry's not from their world
Terry specially loves crashing at the Teachers AU, where Nova & co + the Fortuna Beach gang are highchool students, while the Renegades Council, the Anarchists and the Rampion Crew are teachers, cuz that's the funniest AU Dawnie and I have created with all the characters from MM books lmao, our magnum opus 🤌
Thanks for coming to my TED Talk, I could talk about them forever but there's only so much infodump you guys are willing to take jsjs

Mondo!! Mr. Owada!! I can't help but ask, in all this panic and despair- How's your gang holding up? I'm sure Daiya would be proud. Unless they're all dead already, then whoopsie daisy!pfft.
Tumblr media
Ah, well, you must be new here...I don't mind explainin'.
Tumblr media
When I died in the killing game, and the gang found out that I was kinda responsible for my bro's death, I hear they ended up gettin' into disputes an' shit, and they were fallin' apart at the seams.
Tumblr media
Honestly, the fact that they were able to stick together durin' the tragedy was insane. But when they found that out, it all started to crumble.
Tumblr media
But from what I hear, they're still around and acceptin' new blood, and it's thanks to this guy named Eje Karma that made it happen.
Tumblr media
Karma left the gang after I became it's boss, and he went to pursue a career in stunt actin'. But when the tragedy hit, he returned to the gang and became it's leader, and it's thanks to him that it's still kickin'.
Tumblr media
But he hates me, especially 'cause he looked up to Daiya, and he can't forgive me for gettin' him killed. Not that I blame him.
Tumblr media
Still, even though we've got bad blood, I'm grateful to Eje. He's the only thing keepin' my bro's dream alive.

New BRC AU/headcanon/fan fic idea/etc., also kind of a sequel to my "Rise and Devil Theory possible connections" post from a while back.
So in the Jet Set Radio games, there's a gang called Poison Jam. People have already pointed out a couple of similarities between them and Devil Theory, mainly design-wise. In JSR Future, they're led by Cube, who eventually joins the protags' group.
So then if we're already pointing out parallels between Poison Jam and Devil Theory, here's a neat idea: Rise being the secret leader of Devil Theory! It'd be another possibility of how she'd be allowed on Pyramid Island without getting hassled by them.
More rambling under the cut!
Now getting into a few more probable specifics about how this could work:
Though first, regardless of how she's the leader, she never reveals the truth to anyone. She's still got a reputation to maintain! Maybe Tryce or someone else on BRC figures things out and tries to accuse her, but she just replies, "That's a very dangerous accusation to make." Meanwhile whoever accuses her starts feeling like they're being watched... 😈
After DT gets kicked out of Mataan and get settled on Pyramid Island, they start getting sick of Rise as their leader. Maybe they blame her for losing to DJ Cyber (since they got kicked out of Mataan, they probably lost to FUTURISM), and getting sent to the island. So they're trying to figure out how to oust her from the crew, though Rise is aware of this and keeping an eye on them.
Alternatively, Rise is the one upset at DT for losing and getting them all shuffled onto the island. So she's looking for ways to cut her losses with them and join a whole new crew by herself.
It could also be both sides being mad at each other for the loss. :P
So either way, BRC comes along and Rise tests them. Once they impress her enough, she cuts her losses with her old crew and joins BRC!
Whether or not Rise is aware of DT's dealings with the cops could also factor into this, like what I mentioned at the end of that other post. She could be the one who encouraged them to use the police to help get rid of their competition in the first place!
But then either A: she has a change of heart after joining BRC and stops doing that, or B: DT take the whole thing too far, including the deal with Faux to help him, so then she just stops because of that.
Also, another idea! DT start making deals with the cops and Faux without telling Rise at all. When she finds out, that's around the time BRC show up on the island. She's angry that her own crew went behind her back like this, so then this leads to her testing and then joining BRC.
Actually, speaking of Faux: When Devil Theory get beat by DJ Cyber and FUTURISM then sent to the island, they stage a mutiny and kick Rise out of their crew, blaming her for it. Meanwhile, they start making deals with Faux, who in turn directs them to rat other writers to the police. Faux basically makes himself their new leader, or at least makes them think that. He either wants them as his own crew because he wants to fight against DJ Cyber and FUTURISM, or otherwise he just wants to trick DT and wipe them out easier when he starts his All City King plan.
In this scenario, Rise could be on the island with them because she's trying to figure out some sort of revenge against them for kicking her out (possibly why she "helps" BRC and eventually joins them instead). Otherwise, maybe she finds out about DT's dealings with Faux and the cops, and is mainly keeping an eye on them moreso out of worry. They kicked her out, but she still cares about whether or not they get hurt. Or maybe it's more like a "waiting for the future drama with popcorn ready" situation where she wants to see how bad their karma will get, lol
Bonus scenario: Rise says in the game when she joins BRC, "I will allow ya crew to join me." Maybe, she means BRC joining her... and the rest of Devil Theory. She could very well still see herself as DT's leader even after joining BRC. And in turn, DT still see her as their leader, possibly why the DT member in the post game is actually willing to give BRC a chance to beat his score and make him join.
So then she shows up at the BRC hideout with the rest of Devil Theory in tow!
Tryce: "I'm sorry, what the hell is going on here?"
Rise: "Don't worry, they're all housetrained."
Tryce: "That is not what I'm asking here and you know it."
Rise: "Look, they'll behave if I tell them to behave, and we're genuinely here to join with BRC from now on. So don't worry about it, yeah?"
(also probably Rise x Devil Theory polyamory in this scenario, maybe, lol)

re: your sa vs murder post, I would argue that sa is a form of torture. To torture and then kill is worse than just torturing or just killing, because there is a greater degree of directed malicious and violent behaviour. Torturing and not killing vs killing and not torturing would depend on whether the method of killing was comparable to the suffering incurred by the torture.
I feel like a lot of people tend to picture death from murder as a relatively quick thing. There may be pain and fear, but in fiction it often doesn't take long before death claims someone. We therefore have a societal tendency to perceive that death from murder is often not "that bad", unless the murderer intends it to be so and willfully and carefully draws it out. Thus I think people are more prone to feeling the torture and long-term suffering of an sa victim to be worse, because that suggests to them a more concerted malicious effort and more overall pain dealt. I think a great deal is that people underestimate how painful dying is unless conditions are perfect for instantaneous death.
So to your mind, if a character tortured another and then let them live, would that be as disagreeable as a character that rapes someone but doesn't kill them? In both those scenarios, someone is left with an immense amount of lifelong trauma - but several people have said that murder is better because the victim doesn't have to deal with it afterwards.
In the context of Fallout, since im a Fallout blog, it's highly reasonable to say that certain characters have committed acts of torture. 2 of your companions in Fallout 4 are raiders (or a former raider, in Cait's case). Gage actively raids and approves of it, but he's still a fan favorite to a lot of people. It's been a long time since I played through nuka world so I don't remember any dialogue off the top if my head, but I wouldn't be surprised if the act of rape was implied in Nuka World. They have a slave district, after all. Consent would be pretty dubious, at best. While I don't think Gage would have committed an act of rape, it's possible he works with people who have.
And that's kind of the core of what I'm getting at. Rape as always implied to be a true villain's act. You can murder or raid as much as you like and you'll get a narrative pass, but if you rape or assault, THAT crosses the line. There is no redemption for you, do not pass go. Functionally, I suppose there is no real difference between the nuka world raiders and Caesar's Legion, but because The Legion is implied to exist on some level of sex slavery, that makes them automatically worse and less redeemable than any other raider gang. Or the Fiends, who are Cannibal murderers, but Cook Cook is one of like, two people in the game with Evil Karma, is explicitly stated to be a rapist. Caesar, the leader of the Fascism LARP, doesn't even have Evil karma.
There is clearly some unspoken rule here that uses rape and SA as a shorthand for true villainy. I think there's a level of pretty privilege, or at least appeal, that allows characters to get away with some particularly heinous acts and not others. Like yeah your honor he did all that, but he was hot doing it, so who cares. Psychologically speaking, part of what I think plays into it is that danger is seen as desirable. I come back to the idea that murder is easier to romanticize.
Both murder and rape are extensions pf violence, but one is more about exerting power over someone, and its not as easy to eroticize. It's pure fantasy to look at a dangerous man who has killed someone and think that you would be the exception, but that's where the fiction plays a vital role. You look at a character and think "he would murder For Me" but when it comes to rape, I don't think it's as appealing to think along those lines. Like... he would rape For Me? No. He would rape me? Sure, a sexual fantasy for some people, but not nearly as relatable. Murder can be seen as an act of love, protection, or even devotion, even if committed unjustly. Rape is inherently a more selfish act.
