Sankata Nashana Ganesha Stotram: Chant to remove all problems of life
Let's understand a little about the "stotra". 'Stotra' means eulogy of God, in other words, praise of God. By reciting the hymns, a protective shield is created on all sides of a person at the subtle level and he is protected from negative energies. At the time when a stotra is recited in the prescribed tone, then a specific conscious energy is created from that stotra. Therefore it is necessary to say the stotra in a specific rhythm. Everyone is familiar with the two stotras of Shri Ganesha. One of them is Sankata Nashana Ganesha Stotram. This stotra is very simple and effective for daily reading. Devarshi Narada has composed this stotra. In this, twelve names of Shri Ganesh have been remembered. By reciting this stotra in the morning, midday and evening, all the wishes are fulfilled. With such a method, you can also get the desired results from the proper pronunciation and passionate recitation of Sankata Nashana Ganesha Stotram', that is the prayer at the feet of Shri Ganesh ji.
Tumblr media
Sankata Nashana Ganesha Stotram is mentioned in Narada Purana, one of the eighteen Mahapurans recited by Narada. Stotram Reading brings wealth, experience and security. It also fulfills the desire of believers.

This festival is performed by many women’s in India. It is very important for all married women’s, and they observe fast up to finish the puja. On this day devoting of the Goddess Lakshmi is equaled to devoting Ashtalakshmi ( eight Lakshmi). They are the goddesses of wealth, fame, love, learning, peace, pleasure, strength, and earth. In the Shravana month, this festival is celebrated.
A varalakshmi puja performs to inviting the Goddess in a home for wealth and prosperity. As the deity comes from the sea and the day represents Vratha. Goddess Lakshmi has eight forms and finally Varalakshmi form is one among them. This puja is one among the Sumangali pujas.
Adi/Maha Lakshmi- prehistoric goddess.
Dhana Lakshmi- Material wealth (money, gold, and property)
Dhanya Lakshmi- food grains
Gaja Lakshmi- fame
Santana Lakshmi goddess children

And Vara Lakshmi – gives all eight of above
On that day women wake up early and they took a bath, should put Ishwaryam kolam with rice flour and put a rangoli, where we place the Kalasha. The holy Kalasha is made with different materials like silver, brass, and copper. You can keep anyone, and the Kalasha filled with rice, and in top of the Kalasha filled with betel or leaves, a coconut and cloth are placed on the mandala to invoke goddess Lakshmi. Lakshmi Pooja give blessings when you decorate it with flowers, fruits, jewelry, dry fruits, someplace coins, rupee notes, sweets, savories, and fresh grains. The Varamahalakshmi Vratha is started with the first puja of Lord Ganesha. After Varamahalakshmi puja will be started. The Raksha is devoted for a second time and it is tied to the right hand of the women.
Varamahalakshmi Vratha Katha
Varalakshmi puja is performed in Shravan (Avani in Tamil, Shravana in Telugu) month. This puja especially commemorates for married women. They follow the procedure of Varalakshmi Vratha gradually, this puja celebrates on second Friday of Shravana masam to get the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and benefits like Swarna akarshana, Dhana akarshana from the vratha. Varalakshmi Vrat Katha was previously told by Lord Shiva to Parvathi. One day Goddess Parvathi went to Lord Shiva place and asks him “Oh” god is there any process by which women in Bhuloka can achieve wealth, prosperity, fame, progeny, and be happy. Please tell me by devoting whom, by what Vrat and also if that Vrat is done by anyone in the olden days. Lord Shiva answers “Devi yes”, Varalakshmi Vrat/ Varalakshmi Nombu is there which should be performed by women in Shravana month on the second Friday before the full moon day of Shukla Paksha. After that, he told the details of Varalaxmi Vratham. One pativrata Sadvi was lived in Magadha Desha, her name is “Charumati”. Every day in the morning she woke up early. Devoted her husband with loyalty.
One day night Charumati saw goddess Lakshmi in her dream, who said that I am Varalakshmi Devi and I am very pleased with you. On the Shravana month second Friday before full moon day if you devote me I do all your wishes be fulfilled and do Varalakshmi Puja at home, goddess told like that in Charumati’s dream. Charumati used to worship goddess Lakshmi Devi with different mantra and Stotras. Then she told like that “oh” Parameswari Devi peoples are becoming intellectual, wealthy, and resist only with your blessings. This is my “ Poorva Janma Sukrutham” because you came into my dream. Then the goddess shows her blessings on her and disappeared.
Charumati wakes up directly and she described the total story of her dream to her partner and neighbors everyone encouraged her to perform that puja. Everyone is excited and waiting for that day. That Friday came, she woke up early and took bath, wore a new saree, after that cleaned the total house with the holy water and sprinkled Gomutra, placed the Kalashaand Diya at Puja Mantap. The Kalasha decoration is made with flowers and turmeric is applied after that wicks is scrolled around the kalasha for purity. On the top of it filled with betel leaves and coconut, to invoke goddess Lakshmi. Then Charumati and her partners perform the puja with dedication. And they performed the fasting up to finishing the puja. They tied the sacred thread to her right hand. They offered and decorated with different types of food items like fruits, sweets and fresh flowers, rupee coins, and jewelry. They did a Pradakshina by that time of the third Pradakshina they are decorated with golden ornaments like bangles, anklets, and scattered with nine precious stones. And own horses, elephants, and chariots appeared. Charumati and her partners honored to the Brahmin’s with the Dakshina Tambulam and get boons, then had Prasadam.
