May the wisdom of Lord Ganesha guide you in all your endeavours. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi 2024!
Ganesha à„ Talon Abraxas
Ganesh Chaturthi : An annual festival honours Ganesha for ten days, starting on Ganesh Chaturthi and ending on the fourteenth day of the fortnight (Anant Chaturdashi) which typically falls in late August or early September. Celebrations are traditionally held on the fourth day of the first fortnight (Shukla Chaturthi) in the month of Bhaadrapada in the Hindu calendar. The grand festival celebrated throughout India, especially in Maharashtra and Telengana includes worshipping by families at home, by people at their places of work and in public. The public celebration involves installing clay images of Ganesha in public pandals (temporary shrines) and group worship. At home, an appropriately-sized clay image is installed and worshipped by offering puja and prasad (typically Modaks and laddus) with family and friends. At the end of the festival, the idols are immersed (and dissolve) in a body of water such as a lake or pond.
Ganesh Mool Mantra
The Ganesha Mool Mantra is also known as the Ganesha Beeja mantra or the Bija mantra. In Hindi, âBeejâ means seed â the source of everything in the universe. This powerful mantra combines several of the Ganpathi beeja mantras, especially the beeja or the seed sonic vibration associated with Lord Ganpati ââGamâ.
âOm Shreem Hreem Kleem Glaum Gam Ganapataye Vara Varad Sarvajan janmay Vashamanaye Swaha Tatpurushaye Vidmahe Vakratundaye Dhimahi Tanno Danti Prachodyat Om Shantih Shantih Shantihiâ
Meaning : The Ganesh Mool mantra is the most succinct and powerful Lord Ganesha mantra of all. This mantra celebrates the unique and divine form of God Ganpati (Ganesha) and his powers. The Ganesha Mool (root) Mantra, beginning with the incantation of âOmâ evokes positivity, purity, energy and the presence of Lord Ganpati in oneâs life.
Benefit : The Ganesh Mool Mantra is believed to create a powerful aura around oneâs body because of the cosmic energy in the sound vibrations of the Sanskrit words. This mantra is uniquely musical and lifts the mind to a state of trance. It is widely chanted during Pujas and Yagyas to please Lord Ganesha. It brings peace, good luck, success and removes all obstacles from oneâs life if incanted in the proper way.

How Do I Choose the Right Ganesh Idol for Ganesh Chaturthi 2024?
Choosing the right Ganesh idol for Ganesh Chaturthi is an important aspect of the festival, as it sets the tone for your celebrations. Here are some tips to help you select the perfect idol:
Consider the Size and Space: Before purchasing a Ganesh idol, consider the space available in your home for the installation. If you have a small space, opt for a smaller idol to avoid overcrowding. For larger spaces, a bigger idol can be a great centerpiece for your Ganesh Chaturthi decoration.
Material Matters: The material of the Ganesh idol is crucial. Brass Ganesh idols are a popular choice due to their durability, elegance, and traditional appeal. They are not only aesthetically pleasing but also symbolize prosperity and longevity. If you prefer an eco-friendly option, consider clay idols that dissolve in water and are biodegradable.
Design and Posture: The design and posture of the idol are also significant. Different postures of Lord Ganesha have different meanings. For instance, a sitting Ganesh idol is ideal for home as it represents a calm and peaceful environment. On the other hand, a standing Ganesh idol is often associated with dynamic energy and is suitable for workplaces.
Auspicious Timings: Knowing when Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated is essential, as it helps you plan your purchase in advance. The festival usually falls in August or September. Check the exact date for Ganesh Chaturthi this year and plan accordingly to avoid last-minute rushes.
Decoration and Placement: Once youâve chosen your Ganesh idol, think about how youâll decorate the area around it. Your Ganesh Chaturthi decoration should complement the idol. Use flowers, lights, and other festive items to create a beautiful and welcoming space for Lord Ganesha.
Eco-Friendly Considerations: With growing awareness of environmental issues, many people are now opting for eco-friendly Ganesh idols. These are made from natural materials like clay, paper mache, or even seeds that can be planted after the festival. If youâre conscious about your environmental impact, this could be a great option.
In conclusion, selecting the right Ganesh idol for home involves careful consideration of size, material, and design, along with thoughtful decoration planning. Whether you choose a brass Ganesh idol for its timeless appeal or an eco-friendly option, ensure it resonates with your beliefs and enhances the spiritual atmosphere of your Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

On this day, fast is observed for Lord Shri Ganesh. This time This Chaturthi is on 22nd August, Thursday.
đ·How to observe the fastđ·
đ©đ» Women should take a bath in the morning on this day and start worshipping Lord Ganesha with purity. Take a vow to fast in front of the idol of Lord Ganesha. Complete the worship of Shri Ganesha with sixteen remedies like incense, lamp, fragrance, flowers, Prasad etc. Speak as little as possible before the moon rises.
đđ» In the evening, take a bath again and worship Lord Shri Ganesha with the same worship method. After this, when the moon rises, worship Lord Shri Ganesha with milk, durva, betel nut, fragrance, Akshat in a conch and offer Arghya to Chandradev on Chaturthi Tithi. In this way, by observing Bahula Chaturthi fast, all the wishes are fulfilled and all the troubles, disturbances and obstacles related to the practical and mental life of the Vrati (the one who observes the fast) are completely destroyed. This fast gives children and increases wealth.

đ· If there is any problem đ·
⥠22 August 2024 Thursday, Sankashta Chaturthi, Moonrise at 08:52 PM
đđ» Many problems keep coming in our life, they do not go away. Sometimes some problem, sometimes some problem. Such people can do an experiment mentioned in Shiv Puran, that Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha (means Chaturthi after Purnima) comes. On that day, in the morning, bow to Ganpatiji while reciting six mantras that these problems and troubles that are repeatedly coming in our house should be destroyed.
đđ» The six mantras are as follows â
đ· Om Sumukhaya Namah: Beautiful face; May the beauty of true devotion remain on our face too.
đ· Om Durmukhaya Namah : Meaning when a person with demonic tendencies harasses a devotee then⊠the wicked get scared on seeing Bhairava.
đ· Om Modaya Namah : One who remains cheerful, happy. Those who remember him also become happy.
đ· Om Pramodaya Namah : Pramodaya; He makes others happy too. A devotee is also cheerful and a non-devotee is careless, lazy. Lakshmi leaves a lazy man. And one who is not careless, Lakshmi remains permanent.
đ· Om Avighnaya Namah
đ· Om Vighnakaratryeya Namah
