A little while ago, I beat Earthworm Jim 2 for the first time in my life. This game proved to be pretty difficult, but really satisfying. Spent a while on this, the Puppy Love Levels got me good, especially that See Jim Run level. Over all, it's done and I really enjoyed it. Last night, I sat out and enjoyed a La Glorioa Cubana with a Johnnie Black. A little while ago, I beat Kathy Rain. You play as Kathy, who is in college and has to attend her Grandfather's funeral. After the funeral, she reconnects with her grandmother and the town that she use to live in. Upon hearing stories about her Grandfather and talking with the Townsfolk, there is something strange about how he spent the rest of his life leading up to his death. Tonight for Halloween, I went as Fatman, in the game that I am playing and I beat it. The Adventures of Fatman: Toxic Revenge is another one done. Now, Halloween is over for me. Over all, it was a pretty good game, but nothing that I would write home about. The game was poor on story, but it was pretty funny with the dialogue. The game was a bit of a challenge and you often had to revisit options that may have not worked before. It taught you that options you exhaust will be a possiblity for later. My biggest beef with the game is that the ending didn't feel climactic. The villain and the hero didn't seem to know each other or have any tension, it was just a lazy super hero vs a green toxic nobody. I may be making things sound worse than what it is, but it was good. Turns out this game came out a long time ago, don't know if a sequel will ever happen. Now that I am done, I am out smoking a Gurkha Omen and drinking some Apothic Wine called Rose. It's a good night. Wrapped up playing The Shivah and all of the endings that I can come up with. With all that was done to complete it, I am satisfied enough. Satisfied may be a strong word since this game seemed to be overly complicated yet being really short. It's a shame since this game and the story really did grab ahold of me and I was really excited to see what happens next, but before I knew it, I'm dealing with the final confrontations, and the game ends one way or another. The concept of this game being about a Rabbi who is down on his luck and his synagogue is failing, yet a former member of years ago is found dead and left the Rabbi ten thousand dollars in his will. What? Why? What lead to this? All in all, my disappointment aside, I did enjoy this game, but wish that I had my of it. Come see the next adventure soon on Twitch with yours truly. Just beat Crystals of Time. It was pretty much a relaxing game, but I wasn't sure what to be expecting from this game, so I would sometimes get on edge, expecting a jump scarr to come out of nowhere. Alas, no such thing happened. This was just a simple frame by frame, point and click puzzle game where you typically explore and find items to progress in the game. The story was bland to the point to where the game ended, it just ended. There was no big build up, but that's okay, it just had you solve puzzles and I can throw my leg up and just have a drink and a cigar and just figure out how to get from one point to another. All done with Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry. I'll put it bluntly, this was not a good game. Really wanted to like this game too. The story wasn't enjoyable, the jokes were bland, nothing made sense for the character of Larry Laffer. This was supposed to be a direct sequel to the very first game? Who came up with this? Worst of all, having to work through this game, there wasn't any satisfying conclusion to this story. Later they added an epilogue to the game? They're opening this game up to a sequel?
