Rampage (2018) When a mysterious pathogen from space crashes back down to Earth and infects some of its inhabitants, Davis Okoye must find a way to save the city and get his beloved friend George back! As a big fan of the games, and looking forward to seeing this in 4K I’m glad I’ve finally gotten round to watching this and I was pleasantly surprised! Not that I didn’t expect much but I just had a fun time watching it; which is exactly what I used to have when I was playing the game! The film doesn’t contain a very strong story and it’s main appeal is definitely it’s chaos, it has 3 monsters causing havoc and that’s where it makes it’s money. Seeing buildings collapse and the city being smashed to pieces is exactly what you want from a game that is pretty much that! I loved the little Easter eggs scattered throughout and especially the Rampage arcade machines! The cast are on form, and although there isn’t any standout performances, everyone plays their role more than capably and the personalities of @therock and @jeffreydeanmorgan are always a pleasure to view on screen! Saying that, the bond and little story between Davis and George is cracking too, having some fun, jokes and even some tense moments! There’s no stunning soundtrack in this one, but it does what it has to to accompany the movie and it does has its moments to create some tension and emotion! Overall, Rampage is exactly what it looks like, a film full of chaos and menace. It could probably have been a little shorter, or contain a little more craziness for its time frame, but in the end it pulls through in achieving its aim, which is to send you on a city wide rollercoaster just like the games! Definitely a watch for a fun night in! #Rampage #RampageMovie #RampageMovieReview #MovieReview #Cinephile #DwayneJohnson #RampageGame #JeffreyDeanMorgan #GameAdaptation #MovieNight #Omareviews #GamingMovie #FilmReview #ActionFilm https://www.instagram.com/p/CFZeQ6ZFQ3W/?igshid=9x0ty00k8ufh

Chapter 30.2: The Door Problem Challenge
Hiii! Well, nothing more sad than to be working on your birthday but the truth is the only thing I have to do is write this post because I developed the idea some time ago.
Well, let’s go then.
Talking and thinking about doors so much made me remembered this ultra fun tv show I watched when I was little, Humor Amarillo (I believe this was serialized as Takeshi’s Castle in English) . In this show there were lots of contestants tested with different trials. One of these trials was a maze with doors. Thinking from a game perspective I found it pretty interesting and decided to adapt it.
We have a maze with multiple doors. Just one of them leads to the exit. There are two players (at least, more could be added). One chaser and one runner. The objective of the chase is clear: catch the runner. While the runner has to exit the maze without getting caught.
The fun of the game resides in two different facts:
One, you can here all the doors around you opening and closing, so the chaser can identify the runner’s whereabouts easily, but it’s the same way around.
And two, if you run too much, you could end up falling into water/air, which would mean death and therefore an instant game over.
Here are some of my notes. As you can see I added different possible objectives to make levels more unique, as well as items that could turn around the game. An item that lets you see chasers is surely and advantage; and maybe an item that lets you be invulnerable or stun the chasers for a short amount of time, like pac-man’s energizers clots, would be a certain amazing perk.
It’s not listed on those notes, but I decided to add some special doors that require the runners to have a key to open them. Chasers don’t need any key.
This weird mess are my sketches, yes, sorry. As it can be appreciated, the number of sides of each room also add or diminish difficulty, but careful because more sides doesn’t automatically mean that it’s harder. For instance, you can see that the easiest level has 5 sided rooms, and the hardest level has 4 sided rooms. Don’t worry, I have a clean version, here you can see everything better, adn with a proper key:
For the project in Unreal I decided to set up the normal level. Wish me luck.
I hope it doesn’t give me much head-aches, but you never know. Unreal and me don’t have a good relationship to be honest...
Anyway, I’m happy I came with a fun idea quite fast.

Hey Folks!
Here is a quick blog write-up about how to adapt Once Upon A Time in various ways in the classroom. This is designed for use with expert speakers who are children but I found it applicable for the language classroom as well. There are a few quick tips on how to make the game less challenging which is great for beginning learners! Stay tuned and I'll post a skeletal lesson plan using OUaT so that it can be easily adapted for your own classroom!
