Unpopular opinion about the manga/show?
for atla? These are so fun!
Aang wasn't necessary for the plot to move forward. His biggest contributions were either something more powerful using him as a meaty magic wand (i.e. La and the lionturtle) or him leading the group on a side quest where a character of the week was delivering actual plot important information (like King Bumi). Aang was a very passive character, especially for being the main protagonist. His fight with Ozai wasn't even the main climax of the finale, and even his main conflict (not wanting to kill Ozai) barely gets any time to breathe before it's resolved. It doesn't make sense that by the end of the show, everyone is hailing him as "the real hero" when literally everyone else did more to make sure the war ended. Aang could've been replaced by Appa and a half-way decent map, and little would have to change in his absence.
Send me more asks!

More Lost Ark cuties!
When I play it these days (which is admittedly not very often), I play my Sharpshooter, Dmitriy. He has poor posture, but he does get to wear pants. It's mostly the bird that does the work though, let's be honest here.

On September 26, 1983, after the crash of the home video game market, Atari buried over 700,000 video game cartridges and consoles in a landfill in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Due to looting of the site, it was eventually covered in concrete. (Video Games, Event)

I had to make this one its own post because it really hit a a whole new level of fucking unbelievable to me. The 🤏 paranoia has reached new lows where it’s not just human hands that have these incels frothing at the mouth, but now maps as well.

bit of a roster update since its almost the end of the year! my roster has changed a lot since and many characters have come and gone. hopefully next year i will actually make up my mind and really finalize my main 6 🫠
from top to bottom, left to right:
Aurelian (Paladin) | Selaena (Souleater)
Endymion (Berserker) | Inaenna (Slayer)
Calibourne (Paladin) | Celestina (Bard)
rip arcana, summoner, artist, destroyer, sorceress and so many other classes i deleted/benched... i will come back to you one day...
also main 6 roster evolution for this year, watch me change again with breaker under the cut 👀
i wanted to do a 5 support 1 dps gold roster at the start of the year but yeah. artist came and nuked that idea to the ground lmao. those few months were truly hell to pug on a support
this was i think a few weeks before elgacia? i had an artist prior to this screenshot actually, but she never made it to the main 6 because i didn't like her sprinkle skill and no space to take DR skill. but with the new changes coming on january i might give artist a shot again.
oh destroyer. hes so much fun to play but way too slow for me. i still do guardians on him though and hitting perfect swing is truly chefs kiss
theres a 5 month gap between this screenshot and the second one. summoner on paper is great but playing her was pure SUFFERING. idk not even the massive january buff + season 3 bozos jar can change my mind now, she felt way waaaaay too slow on MS and i dont like CO so... rip 1540 summoner i might come back to you if smilegate reworks the class again..
ngl i made a random dps just to do t3 tower cause there was nooooo way i was gonna do it on a support. originally i wanted to make a pistoleer but then i saw i need to use cursed doll and i HATE cursed doll, so i picked berserker instead. mayehm zerk is pretty fun actually and very consistent despite the negative sentiment around him.
ooh boy souleater. i dropped my first ever character (sorceress) for her and she did NOT disappoint! they were not joking when they said souleater is just a better igniter. sorceress is still nice to play dont get me wrong but souleater numbers man... its getting to me...
and heres the most recent one. rip arcana and my MC for so many of my fics... arcana is also amazing and i pull my own weight on raids dont get me wrong, its just that i have no hands to play her to the best of her ability lmao. plus the damage numbers on souleater is really getting to me, hence slayer. still not sure which engraving i want to do on her, i might actually buy 2 sets of accessories for her so i can switch whenever.
this will be my main 6 roster until maybe breaker? also not sure if want to make him yet. but definitely until smilegate announces a male mage/male delain/female paladin. also a sage class would be cool, be it dps or support. the voldis sages are great and i hope theres more lore/content about them yes i want to see mariu again dont judge me

Hey big fan. How tall do you think the androids in DL are?
Not gonna lie, it's always a bit shocking to hear one has made anything to earn a 'big fan', but thank you very much nonetheless!
As for your actual question, though, I think they're roughly about human height, judging by art? Of course I've gone over how art sometimes varied wildly in height, but as mentioned in that post if you have seen that, Dragalia did seem to try and keep a 'comparison heights' straight, at least. They might not have kept straight if Euden was 4'11 or 5'9 but he was shorter than Ranzal and Luca, etc.
And what we see in the wyrmprints, they seem consistently human in size:
(Well, these are both with sylvans, but sylvans are human in height as well, ears notwithstanding, so the point stands).
As funny as it might have been if every android was big or really tiny, I think it probably makes sense that, being created and wished for them to be 'humans' by Maestro, they resemble humanity as much as possible.
Now, just because Laxi, Mascula, and the androids from their era are human sized, others might not be.
They're a recreation of the older models in another case of Dragalia's humans trying to resurrect older tech, the same tech that made the dragons Very Displeased 1k years ago.
Now, Eireene and Finni, who unfortunately have among my personal least favorite designs in Dragalia, don't really give any indication either of being a wildly different size than Laxi or Mascula. Like this art here, where they are about the same size as Laxi and in a similar 'dwarfed by Ranzal' category most everyone falls into to varying degrees.
That doesn't mean there aren't standouts.
Anassa, for example, seems to carry a much bigger presence in her art. Being something of a commander and command center for the 1k year old model androids, it stands to reason she might have more weapons built in, more data processors, or other things in greater quantity. While we don't have a model or comparative art to truly say for certain that she is bigger, she certainly looks it.
(Does she even have legs??? Is she a roomba that would be foiled by anything over a 15° incline or a sudden height change, ex, stairs??? I mean yeah, doesn't she fly and drop down the one time, but even then, there's any number of environments that might make it awkward or impossible to use it to navigate a hazard.)
Ahem. Anyways, the point is that the general androids, be it Maestro's recreations or their elder Nier:Dragalia -er, Ex Machina, a part of the Humanoid Liberation Agency/the ones living in the sky, seem to be human sized. But there might be a few special model ones out there like Anassa who serve a unique and important purpose to justify the time, energy, and resources designing and creating them to fulfill their goal.
Now, admittedly, androids in Dragalia would be a weak point in my general knowledge since they never really quite struck a chord with me enough to inspire a fixation on them, but yeah, as far as I can tell, they're human-sized with perhaps some rare exceptions. The most I can say that might not be wholly normal is their apparent tendency towards a sort of gaunt build, which, to be fair, it's not exactly as if they can build muscle to change that.
Hopefully that answered your question satisfactorily!
