"Yeah, I'm okay. But we have to give this guy a real stomachache if we're gonna get that SpellStone." Fox said to Zizzi as he helps fire his Staff Blaster at Galdon's chest before getting swallowed.
Fox swings his Staff at the membrane holding the SpellStone, which is then freed. But then he hears a stomach churning sound. "Oh no..." Fox said to his dismay that Galdon was about to throw up, and he did sending Fox, Tricky, Zizzi and the SpellStone out of the arena. Galdon then started to choke and die with a low burp.
Meanwhile, Fox and Tricky walk out with Belina as they were about to leave DarkIce Mines. "You must forgive your father. You must lead the SnowHorn Tribe against Scales instead of fighting each other." Fox said to Belina about the War with General Scales. "I will, Fox. Because of you and Zizzi, my people shall no longer live as slaves." Belina stated. "Okay. We'll see you soon. We got a SpellStone to take back to the planet." Fox said as he and Tricky return to the Arwing. "C'mon Zizzi!"
Zizzi was enjoying some time relaxing in Conton city after working on some missions recently. She was enjoying a nice walk around town at the moment as she looked at the sky. She had her hands in her pockets as she was wondering around.
The Supreme Kai of Time, Chronoa was walking out of the Time Nest while her best friend, Tokitoki was flying alongside her and they both see Zizzi wondering around Conton City.
"Oh Zizzi! There you are." Chronoa waved and greeted to the blue Majin Time Patroller.

Looking over my notes for the bloody council of four for Baldur’s Gate and can lore nuts weigh in on the following:
In 1477 at Blood in Baldur’s Gate, Abdel Adrian (or equivalent Gorion’s Ward) is Grand Duke. The rest of the council is Torlin Silvershield, Dillard Portyr, and Belynne Stelmane (though by 1479 at the latest she is under the influence of The Emperor)
In the resurrection of Bhaal in 1482, Adrian is killed and Ravengard is elected to his place. Depending on how you interpret things, Ravengard was also suffering from the influence of Bhaal at this time.
But the true chosen of Bhaal was Silvershield, who was also killed in 1482. His seat wasn’t immediately filled, but eventually Vanthampur was elected to it? Probably within the year.
Portyr becomes Grand Duke at this point. He is. Not good at it.
At some point in the next five years (by 1488 I would think) Portyr hs stood down to allow Ravengard to become Grand Duke, citing the need for military leadership. Ravengard controversially does not give up direct control of the Fist, but is closely aided by Portyr’s neice Liara.
Also in this timeframe, Stelmane’s health has deteriorated to the point that Galdon Shatteshield is often her proxy.
In 1492 in the early part of the year, Vanthampur makes her play for rule. She orchestrates Ravengard’s trip to Elturel at the point her mistress Zariel drags it to the hells, and also has Portyr assassinated through her connection with the cult of the dead three. What this really does is give Gortash his in. He finally also does in Stelmane through his connection with the Bhaalists* whose connection with the emperor he has uncovered, defeats Vanthampur, and manages to intercept Ravengard’s return to Baldur’s Gate and get him tadpoled.
*side note I am trying to decide whether Vanthampur knows that Gort is the chosen of Bane. She surely knows he deals with her lady Zariel, but I feel like if she knew he was part of the cult it would be a huge oversight to not stop him too?

There's a book called "King of the Cats" by Paul Galdone
Just in case anyone else is grasping at straws for Cat King lore and wants to hit up their local public library system like I did

reposting my twitter thrifting stuff because the site's gone down the shitter. here's stuff from April 17th 2023. as a start, Paul Galdone's adaptation of Puss in Boots from 1976.
Galdone's art is so charming and Puss looks like any ol' tuxedo cat, it's very endearing.
another interesting book that is very Finnish in nature is Suomen kansan peikkosatuja (freely translated as "Finnish people's troll fairy tales") with illustrations by Erkki Tuomi, published in 1979. (I could imagine these stories to be even older since based on Tuomi's signature the art is from 1947!)
I like how in these illustrations the titular troll just looks like a big, kind of dim-witted guy. I imagine there's also versions where the hero takes on a giant, again, with the same premise.
generally the theme of these kinds of fairy tales is that the intrepid hero beats the brawny troll with his wits alone. the weak but clever defeating the strong but cocky.
but heck these illustrations are charming.

Thinking about the situation leading up to Wyll making his pact, and Ulder travelling to Elturel, and I was wondering a couple of things...
1) Does Wyll ever outright say he was "left in charge" in his father's absence? I've seen fans describe it as such but the only reference I found in the dialogue files was this:
Which, while Wyll doesn't exactly refute the player's assertion that he was "in charge", he's not the one actually saying it.
(Interestingly, though this may be because of Larian's occasionally odd relationship with prior canon, he ALSO doesn't protest that he wasn't a boy - even though he was 17 and 15 is the established age of majority in Baldur's Gate.)
2) Just how "in charge" do you imagine Wyll was, and of what? Because Ulder has several distinct areas of responsibility and only some of them make sense/are appropriate for Wyll to take over.
Head of the household? That one's obvious - in fact since he's Ulder's heir and a legal adult, it'd be weird if Wyll WASN'T given authority over the Ravengard house and staff in his father's absence. This might include keeping up with some social obligations (not that I don't imagine Ulder used to "make" his son go to parties and stuff in his place anyway, when he could get away with it, seeing as young Wyll was such a party animal and Ulder is very much not!)
Grand Duke? Well, we know it's acceptable for the Dukes to appoint deputies - according to the wiki someone called Galdon Shattershield used to stand in for Belynne Stelmane a lot after her "stroke". So Wyll might've well been deputized for the duration. It's unclear how much real power he'd have been able to wield, though (especially since we don't even know how much ULDER is able to do directly without the support of the rest of the Council -grumble mutter withholding important setting details mumble-). Probably he was given a list of upcoming issues and directions for how to vote on Ulder's behalf, ceremonies to attend, routine matters that just needed rubber-stamping etc.
Marshal of the Flaming Fist? Uh, no, I really doubt it. Wyll may have been taught strategy but he tells us himself that he's no leader of men, and there's no sign he was ever actually a Fist. Whereas Ulder DOES have actual, seasoned military subordinates such as Florrick or Liara Portyr. Putting his son in command over them would've flouted Fist protocol, risked pissing off the people at the center of Ulder's power base, and endangered the whole city if there was a crisis. I can't imagine Ulder doing that.
Anyway, any thoughts?
