Chevin

Many people are unaware that there is actually more than one Force language, much like there is more than one version of English, and there are many dialects of each.  "Basic" is the version and dialect that is used in the Star Wars movies that we all know. However, there are cultures beyond the power of the Rebellion and the Empire. The Chevin are just such a culture.

Chevin are elephant-like bi-peds that live on the planet Vinsoth and who enslave the humanoid Chev who share the planet with them. The Chevin have developed their own Force language. Chevin Force and Basic Force are not compatible. For example, Darth Vader's Force Choke doesn't work on Chevin-Force trained organisms.  Because of their seedy and underhanded way of life, the Chevin have developed Chevin Force specifically to confound all Basic Force users.
