Going back to the hetalia fandom it's like coming home after a while <33 and Personally my favourite female characters are Seychelles, Liechtenstein, Belgium and Belarus (Belarus is low-key yandere for her brother and Unhinged omg),

Did you have or should I say do have any ships you like ? maybe with England since he is your favourite? I mean Ray is literally in a cult and Rollo is well you know based of an Disney villian who's religious corrupted sooooo yeah! but Saeran/ray/unknown has such yandere tendencies! and yes that one jumin ending omg! 😭 Yoosung is a cutie 💓 and well jaehee keeps us in the friendzone 💀

Hello again, 🌸 anon!!! I'm also quite late to respond, but omg you have good taste in female characters! Seychelles was a sweetheart and I liked her character a lot, too!! As for ships, I didn't really have any, but I did enjoy the interactions between Germany and Italy! It's very funny and cute. <3 and aaaaaa nyo!America is also a very nice design!!! Wonderful taste once again hehe. I love her tomboy look!!! >0< and nyo!Italy and nyo!Finland are also both so pretty!!!

Pirate England and pirate Spain..... AAAAAA orz and the viking nordics omg omg!!!! The amount of fanfics I used to read with them... too many to count. I remember there was a time I read too many pirate England fics that I ended up dreaming about him LOL. I think I was a stowaway on his ship, but the entirety of that dream was essentially England and Spain fighting over who got the rights to own me????? ^^;;;; I couldn't begin to explain it if I wanted to.

Sonia!!!! I like her a lot!!!! Additionally, I also like Shuichi, Kokichi, Kaede, and Hagakure! I thought Aoi and Sakura's friendship was very endearing, so Sakura's death crushed me the most in the first game. It's always painful being a Danganronpa fan because your favorite character has the possibility of getting killed and that's the worst feeling. </3

AAAAAAA Mystic Messenger....... every summer, I play it just so I can get more hourglasses to finally unlock Saeran's route. I'm vaguely familiar with what happens, but even so I need to play it. T_T the same goes for Jumin's route. I want that bad ending!!!! OTL I have played Zen's route so many times in the past because he gives the most hourglasses. He's so engraved in my brain hehe. <3 I love him. And Jaehee!!!! When I played her route, I kept thinking, "Why does she keep friend-zoning us? We're so obviously in love." >:( let Jaehee love the player!!! It's what she deserves. <3 aaaa and Yoosung!! He's the cutest. :D

Mammon is my number one!!!! Something about greedy and pathetic men is just so *chef's kiss,* so it makes sense I'd inevitably simp for Mammon and Azul lol. But then Satan and Belphegor are so !!!!!! When the latter was manipulating us and planning to trick us all along when we found him in the attic. :) oooooo he's the worst. I need him. I should play Obey Me again just to see Mammon and Belphegor hehe. I have no idea what is happening in the story now, but I heard there were new characters added and I also saw a few things regarding Nightbringer! Omg but your comments on Jade and Barbatos... I need them to sit down and have tea together to see who can out-babygirl the other. >:) and if memory serves, Barbatos can see into the future or foretell all possible timelines? If that's the case, WOOOOOOO the yandere potential!!!! orz

Also, the twst characters as the seven deadly sins is such a fun thought to entertain. <3 you're giving me so much brain rot... orz

HIIIIIIIIIIIIIII hehe <3 this is going to be a bit long i'm sorry in advance ... but I started buying kpop albums in like. my last year of middle school maybe?? back when i was still living in belgium (and those are still at my parents' house with my later purchases when we moved to spain). so i don't have my full collection here!! i'll still mention the full one just bc i can and bc some of my personal favourites are back there and not with me rn, but!!

my criteria for buying albums changed a lot with time i think!! nowadays i mainly buy albums if i really like the way it looks (the packaging) and/or when i know i will enjoy the photobook (mostly if i really loved the concept pics for a given version!) . or if i Really want some of the inclusions (i'm currently debating buying the upcoming nmixx album because im absolutely in love with the silly little fluffy keychain guy that comes with the ? limited edition i think...) . i used to often buy any album of a group i was REALLY into (and thus my skz collection despite not really being into their music as much anymore, for example), though, or albums that i really liked from a musical standpoint (which is why i am...the owner of a jay park album....................,)

what's also interesting to mention is that before i ever started buying kpop albums i WAS buying jpop albums, actually!! my collection of those isn't as huge (in part bc they're way more expensive, and in part because i pretty much stopped getting those soon after getting into kpop). so. if u'll allow me. i'll add these to this post as well.... they're still v important to me </3

now i wanna be a little annoying and talk about them sorry . first of all, currently on display are these: (as well as my cravity photobook and one of my victon the future is now albums on other shelves).

unsure how to talk about every album individually without being super annoying so. being annoying will have to do. but soooo . starting with what i have Here at my place.

my entire skz collection is currently in a box, but i am you was my first album purchase after i moved here, from my trusty kpop store (musica i love u). i really, really love the way its cover looks!!! most skz photobooks are varying from boring to ugly (so do the packagings, since go live)(it all started going downhill with god's menu i'm sorry to be saying this but it's true), but i quite like this one and the levanter one!!! and the mixtape album is also cute in a way!

i also really like the nostalgia album (and so does my mom, btw, which i can't say about most of my photobooks sadly). the way the box is cut also made it perfect to help me display one postcard at a time on my display shelf for a while lol also i really love this album from a musical standpoint! i remember looping it a lot in my compsci labs . . . the other two victon albums i pre-ordered after seeing the concept pictures . . . they were princes for me..... if there's one thing you have to know about me it's that i will always be insane about a prince/royalty/knight concept. also they had like pc-sized little ?? mirrors?? idk but that's rlly cute it's hanging off my bookshelf rn. and i really like my fame album as well because....well i like swoo. and the photocards were really cute!!!!

the ace album i absolutely LOVE from a visual standpoint it's SO pretty (my mom doesn't understand its beauty sadly). it's so pretty it will always be on display idc i love it... it's also very thin and while that's sad (i could take 238472983749823 more of those pictures) it also helps it maintain a very . . . . fancy look i think

the forest fairy concept for the cravity s2 album that i got is close enough to the royalty concept and thus it was SO for me... it rlly reminds me of lovelyz's a new trilogy photobook and that's been my favourite photobook (that i had) for a LONG long long time like.... i really love is SO much. and this vity one really compares to it i love it just as much!!! and thus i had to have it. well, that, and also i have had this album looped for like most of the year it came out in? like i listened to it an abnormal amount. like. a worrying amount. season 3 i pre-ordered and i'm not as satisfied with it visually (i don't rlly like it to be honest) but it has call my name and thus i had to have it also. i've been Obsessed with call my name since the prologue video for this album was released and That is why i pre-ordered it despite not liking any concept pictures it was just THAT important... call my name i love you

border: carnival!!! this one is very important to me on a personal level... both visually and musically. drunk-dazed is still so insane i still don't know what kind of drug they put in it but dear god. and i love mixed up a whole lot too... visually, the box is really pretty despite being simple like. it just fits anywhere really. makes a little statement... there's like. not MUCH to it but it's not ugly like most skz boxes these days, for example. and the photobook is so......important to me i love it so bad i don't get bored of it ever. i just love this concept so much... (surprisingly way more than the prince concept, which u might or might not have noticed... i have Not bought. i didn't like it as much. the One prince concept that i didn't rlly vibe with as much). the scylla ver. of dimension: dilemma is much more my style!! and thus. i really love that one a lot as well <3 odysseus ver. i don't like as much unfortunately but that was a gamble on my part in the first place (i mostly just trusted the blurred gradients on the album preview pictures for this one bc it looked pretty. and well. sunset colours wise it still does. the concept itself just doesn't do it for me). one thing about enhypen is that when they decide to have beautiful photbooks, they WILL have BEAUTIFUL photobooks. the half ver of dark blood i so absolutely beautiful . the other thing you need to know about me is that i go insane about water shots (in water photoshoots and like .... pool scenes in mvs like. txt run away or &team under the skin). this one was just so for me it's insane. also the outer cover for this one is a really beautiful colour it's like... navy... it's so pretty . additional fact is that the group photocards from enhypen albums are some of my fave photocards they're so cute

one thing about hybe is they will release albums that i will want to own. as you could see on my list one day i just went on a full txt spree like i went absolutely insane at the store like idk what possessed me but... i mean i don't regret it. i love these albums to my core. for tdc: magic, it's about the photobook - first of all the photobook is in the format of like. a spiral notebook abt i find that SO cute (and also practical in a way)(although i would hate if that was the default for photobooks, just to be clear). but like . it's just. idk how to describe it... it's Magical?? the darkness the glitter it's so...beautiful.... i love it so much.... the eternity ones are like. little diaries and that's ABSOLUTELY adorable??? i mostly like the version with the.... magical lullaby concept as i like to call it (there's beds there's stars there's . purple and there's . vibes), but since the diary idea is so cute i kinda just caved in and got both... and then comes freeze which i think i preordered? all three versions because all the concept pictures were just so good. and i don't regret this choice at all even today i don't know which version i would choose if i could buy only one. these photobooks are absolutely. beautiful...

my tbz reveal album is one of my fave albums actually!!! i love it a lot musically, but i love it just as much aesthetically... it kinda looks... like a fancy book?? which is just so cool and it's really nice to the touch also (under the initial outer box)... and another one of the VERY rare photobooks that my mom likes. i was honestly surprised at how much she actually liked this one sdkjjksdbk she got out her phone n all... but that's valid it's a really nice photobook. the chase one i like way less, but it's quite different? quite creative i would say!! and i really liked the concept for this version (no regrets once again) !! the chanhee postcard i got from it has always been on display on my shelf he's watching over me (<- insane woman speaking)

my itzy album!!!! bought it a while after it released so i already knew i LOVED the album musically i think i like every single song on it to a degree?? and it turned out to be SO pretty as well... i had an amazing time looking through it after i got home (i stopped by the store minutes before it closed after hanging out with uni friends in the area bc i happened to check my email and see that i could pick my order up kjndkjbdwnjws) not only the photos/concept themselves but just. the entire design of this photobook is so nice it's almost shocking it's coming from jype i was sitting like wtf jype u CAN make pretty albums??? insane. i also love the photocards i got from it!!

wei's identity: action album is another important one... those are my fancy little guys!!! the inclusions were really cute and i really like ... well wei in general, but also bye bye bye is SO good and i like the rest of this album a fair amount, and. most importantly. fancy concept. for me. great. so for me. SO for me.... <3 meanwhile the kingdom albums were a bit more of a caprice because i was getting into kingdom at the time. they're a little... clumsy, i'd say, in the way they're...designed?? but they remain really nice mainly because that's just. a big royalty concept . for me . FOR ME ... once again, not a purchase that i regret!!

it's surprising that fml is the first svt album that i bought since i moved, but what's even more surprising is . the reason i bought it. it's quite embarrassing actually . i was seeing the previews for the deluxe ver. and i noticed that there was . a set of photocards IN the super mv (2nd half) outfits which meant. jeonghan with that hairpin . and once i processed that information my hands acted on their own . um,

<my jini album3 i love jini's album so so so so much... she was my favourite in nmixx back when she was still a member n honestly the only one i rlly knew like. i knew a few of the other members' names but cldn't always recognize their faces n stuff . but my jini ... that's my performer daughter.... she's such a talented performer it's insane. and i was quite worried about her solo debut because... that's easy to screw up ESPECIALLY when expectations are high and. mine couldn't be anything but high because i do think she's insanely talented, and because the title of this album invokes such a strong imagery... and in the biggest plot twist of the year she even exceeded my expectations and released an album that was so for me. i love all the songs SO much i don't think words are enough to express how much i love this album... and when i looked at the concept pictures (a bit after the album was released, actually), i decided i really wanted to buy it... honestly i wanted both versions but i couldn't justify buying both, financially, at the time so.... i'm still waiting for an occasion to buy the pink version <//3 but i am very happy with the version i have as well!!! very proud to have it. and if you haven't checked my jini out yet, you should!!!!!

and finally. i actually didn't think i would buy the zb1 album - i don't really like it musically. i can't remember the exact reason i decided to buy it after all, maybe it was because i DID like the shade ver concept pictures quite a lot? but either way i'm SO glad to have bought it because.... i think it's currently my favourite physical album that i own... it's absolutely gorgeous. in every single way. in its entirety. it's just. beautiful. i encourage you to watch an unboxing video of it or smth because it's . genuinely so beautiful.

my sadame album was actually one that my aunt bought for me because i saw it in a bookstore we went to together and thought rlly hard about whether i wanted it or not.... i was mostly looking forward to the photocard but i got The One Photocard i absolutly did not want . but oh well. meanwhile!! my moonrise album was actually a gift i got from my best friend back in brussels!! which was really cute of her it was SO cute :< we also bought our al1 albums together <3 kissie for aly!! and as for the five albums i got from my bestie... she's been holding them for me for YEARS kkjsdjkndcb but i finally flew over to the states to see her this summer and she somehow managed to cram them into my luggage as i was leaving... and im so vewy grateful for these because i lob them all... i didn't even know that she had a hotshot album to give me but it's an album that i really love (musically) and turns out it's SO pretty also??? it looks quite book-ish, similar to tbz reveal (amd theyre both red also...) which i really love!

another photobook that i REALLY love is the one from my taeyeon's my voice album!! it's beautiful i love flowery concepts... (also really love that album musically a whole lot). was my favourite for a long time visually alongside the lovelyz's one that i mentioned earlier!

musically, got7's turbulence was my favourite album for quite a while, actually... i don't think i can say it and mean it nowadays anymore, but back when it was a relatively new album it was one that i really loved listening to.

other stories include. me constantly forgetting that i own a shinee album. the fact that i managed to own the pristin album (bought it at a convention) but they didn't have the version i wanted (elastin) anymore and i still really want that version... hopefully i can get it one day. not that i dislike this one i'm just glad i have something to remind me they were real..... the fact that i own a jay park album because at one point in my life i was going to kpop dance classes and everyone really liked his music and i started rlly vibing with it for a while to the point of buying. this album. and me hunting for gfriend's snowflake for a long while before i finally managed to buy it (kpop stores in brussels are very. different from the ones in paris. it was not an easy feat)

- Writing Piece - Small Town Shoppe AU - First Meeting of Ludwig the baker and Matteo the florist. They have a playful dynamic of teasing one another, making jokes and digs at each other since they're shops next to one another.

Day 2: Office Romance / Snowed In

- Writing Piece - Characters: Romano, Germany, India, Belgium, China, Veneziano - Description: After a surprise snow storm arrives, Ludwig tries to help his co-workers stay warm while they wait for the roads to be de-iced so they can all get home. In the meantime, him and his coworkers get up to some childhood games. Outline: - india and ger talking about a notif about a snow storm - romano fighting on the phone with his brother that he cant get home - feli teasing him to take the time to go flirt with his coworker - china remarks he went out to check his car and they're snowed in until the snow gets shoveled by the trucks, so theyll have a few hours - emma suggests them play some games and relax, winking at lud before talking about playing seven minutes in heaven - The entire office sets it up to get matteo and ludwig into the closet and theyre hopelessly sputtering, embarrassed and gay.

Day 3: Hitmen / Rivals to Lovers

- Art/Writing Piece - Space Cardverse AU - Matteo and Ludwig fighting over a job because they were both hired by the same person and they decide while stuck in this situation that they were going to work together to fuck up the guy that made a fool out of them both. Doesn't mean they like each other though... not yet.

Day 4: Spring has Spring / Gakuen Hetalia

- Art Piece - Gakuen Hetalia AU - Ludwig holding out a love letter to Matteo under a flowering tree in their Gakuen uniforms. Yes he absolutely asked Matteo to meet him out under a tree on the hillside to confess to him because he's hopeless and has no other idea how to do it and he was reading Kiku's manga and saw it in there. Matteo absolutely points it out too.  

Day 5: Idiots in Love / Alice in Wonderland

- Art Piece with a Writing Piece - Alice in Wonderland AU - Matteo and Ludwig mindlessly pining under the nose of the Queen of Hearts. Matteo came to visit the Knave of Hearts on his shift of guarding to bring him a little snack. Both of them are pining and gay and embarrassed.

Day 6: Disney Movie / Cosplay

- Art Piece - CinderLud AU - A piece of the two of them meeting where Ludwig is in his costume for the ball. And Prince Matteo is very very interested in this pretty sparkly man.

Day 7: Secret Meetings / Red String of Fate

- Art Piece - Chessverse AU - Ludwig the Kingside Knight meeting with the dethroned prince now pawn Matteo to follow his heart, even if it puts them in danger against the King of White. - An art piece of them standing against a wall, on different sides of it, a string of fate connecting them both as they talk about life, their fear of Feliciano, and more.

This school focus more on the performance arts, and like all performance arts.. it seems to be the least funded school (I might change that later). More flexible in their rules... which might be a problem.

I have no idea what I should name the schools yet but this one has an “N” on it to represent nyotalia.. supposedly. Suggest some names if you can.

Next up north we have:

Focused more on scientific study, their school is more modern than the world academy building. (richer kids study here)

Did some creative things here by making the 2p logo contrast to the World Academy logo XD. Again no name for this one but it has an “M” that supposed to mean mirror (cuz.. ya know 2ps and mirrors.. hah XD).. but yeah please suggest names

Southern part of the country we have:

(inserting my reverse au cuz why not. ) Focused on outside research and recreation, probably the newest addition to World Academy’s sister schools. (not that populated since it’s new)

The logo has “R V” (cuz you know ReVerse, ha XD)still no name for it so I’m calling it green school for now. Suggest some names if you want XD

As much as I like every character to be in these schools, not all of them are. For example, Russia and probably most of eastern europe has a different role in this story, so they might not be here..

in the Green school, romano is probably the only country there, and the rest are some hetalia ocs and regions... (hence why I put @ask-aph-sicilia there)

where are the other reverse countries? ahhh they are in another school.. but it’s an extra school so I might not put an exact design on that.

Stunning university buildings from around the world

Main Building, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia

The main building of Lomonosov Moscow State University is one of the most stunning university buildings in the world. Designed by Lev Vladimirovich Rudnev, the building was completed in 1953.

At the time, it was the 7th-tallest skyscraper in the world and the tallest outside of New York. It truly is an impressive structure, and the university campus it resides covers an area of around 1.6 km2. 

Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower, Tokyo Mode Gakuen, HAL Tokyo, Shuto Ikō/Japan

Designed by Tange Associates, The Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower of Tokyo Mode Gakuen/HAL Tokyo is another beautiful university building. Nicknamed “The Giant Cocoon”, for obvious reasons, it is the 17th tallest building in Tokyo. 

To date, it is also the second-tallest university building in the world and was awarded the 2008 Skyscraper of the Year by Emporis. 

Universiteitsbibliotheek KU Leuven, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium

The Universiteitsbibliotheek KU Leuven (Artes-Ladeuze Library) is a truly stunning university building. It was designed by Warren and Wetmore and was finally completed in 1928.

Designed in the neo-Flemish Renaissance style, the original building was destroyed by fire during the Second World War.  It was rebuilt according to the original design of architect Whitney Warren.

Main Building, Paris-Sorbonne University, Paris, France

The Main Building Sorbonne of Paris-Sorbonne University is another example of a truly magnificent university building. Built-in the neo-Renaissance architectural style, is located in the Latin quarter of the city of Paris.

The building and its campus were one of the first universities in the world and has become a world-renowned center of learning. Notable alumni include the likes of Marie and Pierre Curie and Thomas Aquinas. 

Church of Sant'Ivo alla Sapienza, The Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy

The Church of Sant'Ivo alla Sapienza in Rome, Italy, used to form part of the Sapienza University of Rome. This university is one of the oldest in the world and was founded in 1303 by Pope Boniface VIII. 

The church itself was built between 1642 and 1660 and was designed by the famous architect Francesco Borromini. It is widely considered a masterpiece of Roman Baroque architecture. It formed the seat of the university until 1935.

The Great Quadrangle (Tom Quad), Christ College, The University of Oxford, Oxford, UK

The Quadrangle, more popularly known as Tom Quad, is one of the most recognised and beautiful university buildings in the world.

Old Royal Palace, The University of Coimbra, Coimbra, Portugal

Founded in 1290, The University of Coimbra is the oldest university in Portugal and one of the oldest in the world.

One of its main campus buildings, The Old Royal Palace (and square), are, to this day, one of the most beautiful pieces of architecture in the world.

King’s College Chapel, The University of Cambridge, Cambridge, UK

King’s College Chapel at the University of Cambridge, is another unmistakable and magnificent university building.

Trinity College Library, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland

Trinity College Library of Trinity College, Dublin, is one of the most magnificent libraries you’re ever likely to see. “It is a legal deposit or "copyright library”, which means that publishers in Ireland must deposit a copy of all their publications there, free of charge.“ - Wikipedia. 

Its main "Long Room”, pictured above, was built in the early-18th Century and holds roughly 200,000 of the library’s oldest manuscripts and books.

“Hetalia alternate : Half beast theater club”

When this idea came to me, I had just finished the anime “Beastars” and was listening the opening them in row.Damn I love this kind of music! 

I started imaging a “Half-Beast Hetalia” story around the song, and it came out like a school similar to Beastars (I mean by that the structure of it : Herbivores and Carnivores seperated and in conflict, even if it’s pretty less evident in this AU), though I made them Half-beast instead.

The main character would actually be Latvia, a small mouse that don’t have much confidence but have a great voice that the “Thearter club” of the school notice, specially Francis the white cat (which is the main singer of the club)!

Francis persuaded  Raivis to form a singer duo in a spectacle for the “Gakuen Hetalia Festival”, and you can imagine it will be the occasion for the Mouse to surpass his shyness! (Yeah, totally basic plot indeed!)

All the characters of Hetalia are involved, I just draw only a few of them : 

Sweden (Half moose) and Italy (Half Hare) are from the artistic club helping with the decoration.

England (Half rabbit) is a school representative of the herbivores, but also involved in the administration of the Theater club. However, he is also part with the secretive Magical club with Norway (Half-lynx), Romania (Half-bat) and Estonia (Half-Beaver)

Prussia (Half-Wolf) is a friend of Francis and just tag along when he wants to, he is a free soul with no club!

America and Canada (Half-Horses) are carriers as a side jobs. they can lift heavy stuff and transport material for different clubs, but their main client is the Theater club.

For those that don’t appear, i can tell you some: Poland (half-poney), Belgium (Half-sea lion) and Spain (Half-Taurus) as dancers; Estonia, Russia (Half-Bear), Lithuania (Half-otter), Austria (Half-Owl) as musicians. China (Half-panda) is from the kitchen Club and Germany(Half-wolf) is part of a kinda military club that assures the protection of the campus. Japan (Half-fox), Finland (Half-reindeer), Danemark (Half-Leopard) and maybe Greece (Half-cat) as well are also part of the artistic clubs helping with the Spectacle’s setting.

Can we have some Gakuen AU! NedWan pls uwu. Like I imagine Netherlands as a first year senior high student and Taiwan during her fourth year of junior high school.

Maybe this is not accurate, because I’m not familiar with that school system, but I investigated a bit.

I’ll use the human names of Lars and Mei.

Ok, here we go!

-Lars’ favorite subjects are Literature, History and Math/Physics. He doesn’t participate in class but he gets good grades anyways. On the other hand, Mei is good at Literature, Biology and Foreign Language. She is also good at arts.

-Mei knows Lars because she is friends with Emma (Belgium), Lars’ sister, at first Mei is not actually interested on him, but one day he helps them to study for an important exam, and since then, she realizes he is a nice guy.

-Sometimes, the three of them go home together. Mei talks a lot with Lars and she tries to make him laugh. At the beginning, he just smiles shyly, but later he laughs. Emma observes them and finds out what’s going on.

-After insisting, Mei admits she has a crush on Lars, but she is not sure if she should confess. Her friends support her to do it, especially Emma.

-What she doesn’t know is that Lars has a huge crush on her too, but he doesn’t how to tell her. He asks his friends for advice and they help him gladly.

-Finally, one day, after school, Lars confesses to Mei. Of course, she accepts to be his girlfriend. Soon, everyone knows they’re dating, and they become one of the cutest couples.

-Since that day, they met every day at lunch time, probably once in a while she makes his lunch!

-Also they go home together. He carries her backpack or books, because he is very attentive. She appreciates it a lot.

-Lars is in the soccer team, Mei goes seeing him play. He always looks at her direction. She wears the t-shirt of his team and she made a big banner to cheer him up.

-Mei is in the baseball team, and he goes to all of her games, even though he doesn’t understand the rules of the game, he tries to figure it out.

-They do homework and study together, but they get distracted because they flirt with each other, even when they are in the library. However they help to each other in subjects they aren’t good at.

-They go to all school events together, like a ball, of course. Probably he asked her in a cute way to go to a dance with him; like he sends her a letter or he put a card with the question inside a candy or in one of her books.

-They have dates on weekends. They go to a café, the cinema, festivals, etc.

Formaggio- HFH North Italy Week 2k17

This is my forst submission for the North Italy week hosted by the @hetaliafandomhub​ . I had said this earlier to Hub Epsilon and Pi that I dedicate this to the Hub Gods because they deserve it to the full.

This is the prompt for day no. 2: Photography with optional AU Gakuen Hetalia.

This is Formaggio

"Say 'formaggio', fratello mio!" Italy Veneziano held the old camera in front of his face.

Italy Romano sighed but said the familiar word trying to pull a smile. After the staggering flash hit Italy Romano right in his eyes he continued to sew the oair of trousers he worked on for the 'Home Economy' class. They turned out to be more stylish than expected.

"So, fratello, have you decided about last semester's project?" Veneziano asked with a bright smile on his shiny face.

"I'll probably do something in my orbit, like a dissertation on Westerner's policy or perhaps about the importance of the first production section in our lives. What I must worry about now is the club's presentation. There's not enough time to teach the other goofs how to dance the tarantella!"

"Ugh...I'm sure you'll do great! After all you guys are excellent dancers!" Veneziano smiled.

"It will settle itself somehow...grazie mille fratello!" he placed his HB pencil on top of his ear and looked his prompts.

"La tua felicità è la mia felicità!" he kissed Romano's tanned cheek, grabbed his camera and ran outside their dormitory.

Italy checked the photo he had shot previously. His brother was really good-looking and his beauty was perfectly refelected by the device. The sunlight fell on Romano's brunet hair making it look shiny, unlike his grumpy expression. He was about to finish his assigned homework and he wished to be left alone, something Veneziano didn't grant. The photo was interesting by the sewing macchine's presence too. An old Sainger was considered to be a wonderful antique.

As he was walking inside World Academy W, he came across a pretty familiar sight; China feeding a cute panda bamboo leaves. China wasn't in the same class as North Italy, but he was a close friend from the Asian class. China noticed him too and smiled. His slanted eyes made his cheekbones almost touch his thin eyebrows.

"Nǐ hǎo Yìdàlì! Nǐ hǎo ma?" he waved at him.

North Italy walked to his peer's side and sat next to him "I wanted to ask you if I could take a picture of you and your adorable panda!"

"Of course and you can! Why did you even ask? Japan always takes shots of me and I myself can't count how many 'selfies' I have shot! Go on!" he embraced the oanda and with a childish smile he looked at the flashing light.

"Grazie mille Cina! I really appreciate it!" he let the camera hang on his neck "What theme have you chosen about your project?"

"Endangered species! I know it is common but I really want to sentisise people about it!" he was always so cheerful.

"That's really cool!" he suddenly saw France pass by the nearest corridor "If you can excuse me..."

North Italy ran to catch up with his colleague. Fortunately France was really recognisable. He wore diverse clothes, yet always in fashion, and his golden locks never were out of perfect condition.

"France! Wait!" he exclaimed hooked on France's shoulders.

"Huh? Italie! Didn't expect to see you before class!" he tried to make N. Italy relax "What's all the fuss? Big brother is here to help!" he caressed his brown, towards red, hair.

"I just wanted to take a picture of you!" Italy smiled and showed France his camera.

"Is it for the Newspaper Club? Not that I mind if you keep it private..." he scratched the back of his neck "You can always take pictures of me. J-just wait for the next break- right now I have a really important meeting to attend. It concerns the Gourmet Club!"

North Italy wouldn't miss the opportunity to interview the holly trio of cuisine even if the end of the world occured. Moreover he needed Turkey's photo too and seeing two beautiful countries together was the chance of a lifetime.

He decided to secretly follow France to their meeting point. Apparently Turkey was always waiting for the other members. He was known for his punctuality, as a sideffect of his perfectionist ideology.

France greeted his friend by kissing both of his cheeks, a common European way of greeting. Turkey responded right away and started to chat with the other club member.

N. Italy took a photo quickly and ran away trying to remain unnoticed. Giggling he hid behind the trash bin, which was located two corridors away. He checked the picture; they looked lovely as always.

"Hello," said a quiet soft voice.

Veneziano turned around. A familiar, yet unrecognisable, country had approached him. He was experiencing something like a deja vu.

"You must be Canada, America's brother!" N. Italy remembered.

"Oh yes I am...have you seen my glasses?" he asked kindly.

"I've just arrived here, but I'm more than eager to hel- they are in your cardigan's top pocket!" he touched them.

"Oh mon Dieu! Thank you...I am really silly!" he wore them again and showed Veneziano his teeth, smiling.

Italy took a photo of Canada smiling. The flash hit Canada right in the eyes so he closed them immediately.

"What was that for?" Canada pushed his glasses closer to his forehead.

"Surprise!" he exclaimed and ran away again.

Veneziano moved to the toilets. Almost no one entered but lots rpefered to hang out outside them. That particular day Russia was eating his lunch resting his back on the wall outside the boys' bathroom.

"Ciao!" Italy waved at him bravely.

Russia noticed the Italian and waved back "Privet! Want some pirozhki?" he showed the opened lunch box.

"No grazie, I have already eaten!" he sat by him.

Russia curled up and brought the lunch box next to his crooked nose. Russia, despite his large size (or even because of it) felt quite insecure around his peers. Nevertheless he was considered to be very sociable when forced to socialise.

"Could you please say 'formaggio' and smile for the camera?"

"I suppose so...why do you want a picture of me Italy/" he lifted his head.

Italy pressed to button and five seconds after the click sound the flash gave lightness to Russia's round head. He blinked a few times and rubbed his eyes after.

"Because you are pretty!" Italy smiled once again with his always-closed eyes.

"Oh..."Russia flushed brightly "Spasibo! I feel flatterned!"

"You're welcome! And your food looks tasty!" he stood up and moved to his next encounter, at the wall of the girls' bathroom, Belarus.

Belarus wasn't particularly clingy to her brother that day, given that she would normally be at her brother's side. However that day she was almost three metres away by her own will.

Italy approached the young lass. He lowered his position and looked her in the eyes.

"Want to see it?" Italy took off his camera, which was hung on his cheek and presented it to his classmate.

Belarus grasped the device. She checked all its sides and proceeded on checking the image gallery. She squeeled at the sight of her beloved brother's picture however she quickly scrolled to right and saw the other countries' pictures. She laughed. She actuslly laughed.

"May I have a picture of you?" Italy asked.

"Of course!" she said still laughing.

This was Veneziano's favourite picture. He greeted the maiden again and walked to his friends' dormitories.

N. Italy was well-known to have been hanging out with Germany and Japan. They together formed the Newspaper Club which was created to inform all World Academy W students about current events, achievements and interviews.

On his way back though he entered the art room. He loved art and he was really good at it, especially at painting according to Reinessance's movements. In the art room he came across two recognisable figures, America and Greece.

"...and this happened before Jesus?" said America surprised.

'Well...yes! And many more...but I like this one in particular!" he pointed at a marble statue.

"Dude, I remember bringing one of those to the surface! They are really cool! Literally your ground is precious!" America claimed.

"I suppose so...it was all my mother's..." he snorred.

Italy took a picture of them looking at the magnificent statue and walked on the tip of his toes back to the exit. He didn't want to interrupt such an intellectual converstation. And he was afraid that he would be carried away by it too.

Thus he went quickly to Germany's bedroom and stopped his research there.

Dancing, awarding, explosions and Johan Strauss II could be mixed only in a World Academy W school year ending presentation! All the colours, the fragancies and the unbelievable sights were all gathered in the school gymnasium where all projects could be seen and all club presentation took place.

"Did you see Russia's project?" said England.

"Yes I did actually! It was exciting! I didn't know about all these musicians!" Hungary replied.

"How could you have not known? They are quite famous! Just...not for being Russian." Austria added.

"Since our projects are finished, we don't have to see them again right? We could just- oh my glob! Merlin's beards, is this me?" England moved quickly to the white wall.

No one had noticed before but the wall was covered by photos of each student of the Academy. England's specifically was taken when he was serving tea to Liechtenstein and Monaco. All of them looked really fancy and elegant.

Ameica's and Greece's photo was standing next to England's but it was surrounded by a mysterious aura like they were performing something mystic the moment the picture was taken. But what secretive could they do in the art room?

Belarus's, Russia's, Romano's, Switzerland's, Seychelles', Taiwan's, India's, South Africa's, Nigeria's, Brazil's, Peru's. Everyone's photo was taken and placed on the white dull wall of the gymnasium. It filled the room with awe and happiness.

RIBA reveals 62 projects vying to be named world's best new building

A forest chapel in Japan, an oyster-shell-inspired ferry terminal in Italy and a grain silo converted into an art museum in South Africa are among the projects shortlisted for the second edition of the RIBA International Prize.

The Royal Institute of British Architects has released a longlist of 62 projects vying for the RIBA International Prize 2018, a biennial architecture award that aims to set a global standard for architecture.

Covering everything from small housing projects, to major new museums and office buildings, the list includes projects from 28 countries, by firms including BIG, Zaha Hadid Architects, Foster + Partners and Heatherwick Studio.

Other projects in the running for the award include Dorte Mandrup's sculptural extension to the Wadden Sea visitor centre, along with Ensamble Studio's large-scale contemporary sculptures set in the Montana wilderness.

Also longlisted is a library in Istanbul by Tabanlıoğlu Architects, and a nearby mosque set into terraced steps by Emre Arolat Architects.

Rogers Stirck Harbour + Partners has two buildings on the list: a 34-storey office tower in Sydney with criss-crossed red braces, and a 50-storey tower block for a bank headquarters in Mexico City.

Japanese architect Hiroshi Nakamura is behind the forest chapel on the list, while Stefano Boeri is recognised for his tree-covered tower in Milan.

The project that was named World Building of the Year at the World Architecture Festival last month is also among the nominees. The structure, created by a team from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, is a prototype for an affordable, earthquake-proof house built from rammed earth.

"The RIBA International List 2018 shines a light on the world's best new buildings and most impressive architectural talent," said RIBA president Ben Derbyshire.

"Most importantly, this significant selection of 62 projects illustrates the meaningful impact and transformative quality that well-designed buildings can have on communities, wherever they are in the world."

The RIBA International Prize was open to any registered architect in the world – not just RIBA members. All projects were eligible, regardless of size, type or budget, provided they demonstrated "visionary and innovative thinking".

A jury – including Diller Scofidio + Renfro co-founder Liz Diller and Joshua Bolchover of Rural Urban Framework – will select a shortlist from these 62 projects.

They will then visit each of these projects in person and name four finalists, before an overall winner is announced in November 2018.

The first edition of the prize was won by Grafton Architects, with their vertical campus for a Peruvian University.

Described by judges as a "modern-day Machu Picchu", the Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC) was praised as an exceptional example of civil architecture.
