the answer is YES, but it’s gonna be a while! i recently redid the designs a bit. that being said, don’t expect any major news too soon!!

i've also been playing with the thought of redesigning everyone and turning this into an original story, but we'll see how it goes. meanwhile, have some sneak peaks at the redesigns below!

For those of you who remember the old kidge manga project, Chapter 3 is coming in late August. I’ve changed a lot of the series’ plot, so you’re in for a wild ride! Also, for those of you who submitted characters in for the manga, Every single one is going to be included in the series.

Also, it’s called “SCHOOL SERVICE!! Gakkou Sabisu Ni Iru”, and the characters’ names have been changed to more Japanese names for copyright purposes, but overall it stays true to everyone’s character and the artwork is beautiful, and the plot is really engaging!

Sometime back there was a highschool Kidge manga floating around, sometimes I wonder what happened to it. 

Either way I’m a sucker for quirky shoujo.

Hey there, Nonnie! 

So it all started with @kidgeweek​ 2016. One of the prompts was ‘AU’ and my dearest senpai @k-lionheart-art​ made this gorgeous Shoujo High School AU for Kidge. And she ended up making more art from said AU.

And then she announced that she decided to actually make it a thing. That was two months ago (I think) and so far we already have opening and ending songs and character designs! 

Fast forward to now and it’s due to release in a couple hours!!! It’s entitled Gakkou Sabisu ni Iru (I call it GASAIRU for short ^^) and you can find it’s official blog on @gakkou-sabisu-ni-iru-official​ so I highly recommend you follow both that and the original artist’s blog if you’re interested!

(Also! A little note: the names will be a little different (ie. Pidge = Hatori, Keith = Kei, Allura = Aria etc) due to some copyright problems but it’s still pretty much the Kidge we all know and love :D)

Ahh yeah unfortunately it's on hiatus - I'm working on a bigger project right now but I've got a bigger team now so maybe we can keep it going when we've concluded our work!!

Chapters will now be releasing in parts, to better meet demand and also allow me to catch up in between breaks. If all goes well, the breaks will be short and we’ll return to an easy schedule until I know I can fund this project with the time and energy it deserves. Thank you all so much for your patience!
