My CD Release Show will be this coming Tuesday the 30th at Loosey's Pub in Gainesville!!!

I'll be playing with a full band and there will be cupcakes and the fabulous Ricky Kendall is opening (and will also be playing in my band) and there will be tons of fun!!!

The Titanic Interview Series: Marvin Jacobson

            Marvin Jacobson is Titanic's bassist.  He revealed one of his favorite songs, his ability to fart with his armpit (when i learn how to upload the audio from my mini-cassette player I'll include that piece of interview gold) and info on Titanic's upcoming shows.

            “Titanic, I play bass for that band and I love it, I love the chemistry between all of us.  I feel like we’re all pretty good friends and I feel like I’m doing something good.”

            Sum up Titanic in one word:

            “Awesome or rad, or both”

            Are you excited for the EP?

            “Yeah, we need to record.  We need to pay them actually and then record and then pay some other people and then wait.  It’s a tedious fucking process.”

                                        After staring at him to make him uncomfortable:

            “I can’t play bass with my fingers too well, I play with a pick.”

            Do you have a six-pack?  Are you working on it?

            “No, and barely.  I’m sure you saw us up on stage, the man-sweat everywhere.  It’s fun though and really hot.” 

             How old are you?

            “I’m 19-years-young.”

            Are you in school or are you just focusing on the band?

            “I need to go take the CPT (Computerized Placement Test) and sign-up for financial aid and all that.”

            Do you know what you’re majoring in yet?

            “No idea, I’m probably just going to get an AA.”

            What’s your favorite song ever?

            “Um, shit, that’s a tough question.  Definitely one of my favorite songs is called ‘Jacks Of All Trades’ by a band called Hot Water Music.”

            Any last thoughts?

            “Go to the Oh, Sleeper show.  Oh, Sleeper, Titanic, I Was Alive.  It’s gonna be fun.  April 5.  Another final note, come to Zack’s birthday party at my house April 15.  There’s going to be lots of bands playing, I Was Alive, Titanic and hopefully we’re going to have a Dubstep band if we can find one.  It’s going to be super dance-y.”
