The following are the last seven lines I wrote of the rewritten tribunal chapter!

“Khonsu has taken advantage of him the same way that he abused me.” Harrow continued, “The way he aspires to abuse this court. The way he aspires to abuse the power of the Emissary of the Gods.”

He then faced Amber. “But this isn’t your main priority, is it, Emissary?” 

Amber stumbled back. 

“Your main priority isn’t even on this continent,” He continued, his face peeling into a smirk. “It’s back in America, isn’t it? You informed your previous charge about where you were. Is that true?”

Amber’s stomach dropped. She couldn’t dispute that, could she? That would be parrotting a falsehood, which that was not. She did message Billy about her going to Egypt. She noticed Marc, hunched down, exhausted, panting… And he looked like he’d been betrayed. 

“I asked a simple question, Emissary?”

Amber nodded, looking down, as Harrow smirked.
