ok i got an info dump are you guys ready—

Gideon didn’t MEAN to have Gaelle, but when he realized what was happening, for once in his life Gideon felt a very specific emotion he was never familiar with:

the need to protect something because he genuinely cared about it. something so warm and loving to such an innocent little thing…

… and he HATED it.

 He hated being plagued with something his own head prevented him from feeling for SO long. Hes not used to it, it hurts twice as much now than it would have. He hated that this little thing he didn’t ask for had him wrapped around her finger. At first, he wished he didn’t love her so much. He wished that he could just drop her somewhere and run away without feeling bad about it. Then realized later maybe he wouldn’t go back on this if he had the choice.

Why? He can’t really answer that. 

Maybe it’s because she’s an extension of him, maybe it was an instinctual reaction because, technically speaking, she’s his biological child, maybe he’ll never really know.

(things are about to get REALLY unhinged i’m not even gonna play with yall but i SWEAR that i have thought about this through)

Well, some people guessed that Gaelle was made artificially, that she’s a clone of sorts. And both are correct assumptions, But that’s not really the full of it— 

You might wonder, if he wasn’t trying to make a kid, then what WAS he doing? 

Well see, Gaelle is kinda the… results of two negatives if you get what i’m putting down.

Him, or his DNA rather. And the glow.

His immunity he was curious about (that he wasn’t willing to admit was an issue), instead, manifested feelings he never got to have… into a tiny little thing. He thought what was about him had to be something predetermined, as it had ALWAYS been the case. Something he wasn’t sure exactly how the glow could have affected her, if at all if she was anything like him.

I’ll get into exactly how that worked later, but I think making a visual aid for it will be more helpful.

💔 - Exes

Hagan's got a fair share of flings, but only two (technically three) ex-relationships that he considers such.

Gretna was his best friend and first girlfriend, back when they were teens. She had a noble future as one of Raven's shamans and he didn't want to put the burden of it all on her, so he broke up with her and exiled himself after what happened with his older brother (Martel had joined the Svanir while away to look for their parents, and when he tried to convert him as well Hagan killed him in self-defense). She knew what happened and understood, but it still broke her heart, especially as he was her only real friend in Hoelbrak. They met again once for a brief time, but then during IBS they got the chance to reconnect, and while it was initially weird that Hagan was already in an open relationship with an asura like Flom (the whole possession thing probably took the cake for weirdness), Gretna didn't lose her chance when she saw it, even standing up to her mother when she criticized her choice.

As for Daunte... it's complicated, and weird. Meeting in the Vigil, they straight up couldn't stand each other for the first years, annoying and one-upping each other constantly, then things somehow snowballed from yet another of the charr's petty jokes into sudden intimacy. They weren't technically dating, they were more "rivals with benefits" than anything romantic, but they cared for each other and whatever they had going on was comforting to both of them. They often joked about each other's death, but losing Daunte in the Heart of Maguuma hurt Hagan more than he could have ever imagined.

The relationship with Gaell started out as a simple one night stand between friends who had too many bad feelings they struggled to express, but they figured they could try to make it work, and it lasted for about a year (during LS4). At first it was intense and overall nice, but the more time passed, the more they started butting heads over nothing, as the human noble turned Priory Scholar was a bit too much of a primadonna for a headstrong down-to-earth himbo like Hagan. Eventually they decided to cut things off before they got bad, and they managed to remain friends after the awkwardness passed and having each others' back stuff took priority (during LS4).

Zehmik had plenty of "exes" as well during the nearly twenty years he spent in the Mists, though he considers even the longest-lasting ones as flings or "companionship of circumstances", because the only one that ever mattered is the one he had to leave behind in the first place, [name pending because I can't decide yet, gonna call him Plenn]

Zehmik had been part of a fairly reputable pirate crew for a while when he met Plenn in Lion's Arch, and they hit it off right away, spending all the time they could together and making big plans for the future. Plenn was a brilliant mind kept away from opportunities due to part of his parentage (who was badly exiled from Rata Sum after a clandestine experiment ended up blowing up half the lab and 3.5 members of the krewe), while Zehmik and his sister Bemme had been struggling on their own since they were young. Zehmik wanted to earn enough gold to allow the three of them to live a comfortable life in Metrica as they chased their dreams, and he just needed to work for a while longer to get them there and quit for good.

When his captain died of "sudden causes" and the new captain seemed to bring bad luck, Zehmik followed some of his friends into a group of mercenaries, much to Plenn's and Bemme's worry. That job seemed to go even better, until one particularly high-risk-high-reward gig in Orr, where others made a series of poor choices that killed most of them, left Zehmik scarred (and magically enhanced), and had the Inquest sic a recovery team on their trail to get the loot they were promised. Zehmik managed to barely escape them twice with his life (the only other survivor got murdered the second time), and as he hid in Lion's Arch he had to make a choice: go back to Plenn and lead danger to him (and potentially his sister and everyone else he knew), or run away so that danger would only follow him. He chose the latter, and in a moment of desperation he took the only way out he had available, joining the Mist War in the process. He stayed there for nearly two decades, only managing to send one of his earrings and all the gold he had left to Bemme through a trusted friend he made there, yet unable to do anything about Plenn, too afraid to know what he'd think of him and heartbroken.

Then, many years later, Zehmik follows Aurelia after the first part of SotO and finds out about the Astral Ward... and that Plenn is one of them. It's messy and rough for both of them, especially at first, because for the longest time Plenn thought he had been abandoned or that Zehmik had died, while the Mist Warrior had feared the same when he hadn't found any recent news of him or his whereabouts after finally leaving the Mists. Still, they eventually manage to mend things, and by the end of SotO they're happily and gayly back together, though Zehmik is firmly not on board with the whole Ward and Wizard sketchy deal (after what he's been through as a high-ranking Mist Warrior, he'd know how to sniff out something suspicious), but Plenn has been doing more than he ever dreamed of there, so he plays as nice as he can (while still growling in the direction of a certain Wizard in particular).

Peace and Quiet (pick your own)

Though her first trip home after stopping the Final Days had been received with as much warmth as a Coerthan winter, Gaelle had made it a point to regularly visit in between everything else that had followed and as she became more of a presence back home slowly but surely it seemed apparent that Gaethan was trying to make up for allowing jealousy and spite to drive a wedge between them. Whether that was because he felt bad, or worried about the consequences of treating the 'hero of the realm' poorly, or even because he worried Aymeric would ream him over his treatment of his betrothed Gaelle couldn't be certain; she did feel that Aymeric had something to do with the sudden obliging attitude - not because the man had said anything to her brother but perhaps because Gaethan knew being an ass in front of someone in a position power, that he would soon be related to through marriage, was probably not the best idea.

Regardless of the reason Gaelle was just glad he was behaving himself, and was busying herself with showing Aymeric around the Shroud. He certainly looked different dressed in regular clothing; Gaelle had joked that she barely recognized him out of his armor, to which Aymeric had agreed that he hardly recognized himself and expressed hope that they would find more time like this together in the future to simply exist as regular folk, rather than Lord and Hero.

"Will you miss it?" he'd then asked her one evening as they laid in soft grass watching the stars come out. They'd spent the day exploring and relaxing; she'd delighted in seeing Aymeric so at ease this far from all the pressing responsibilities and a city that knew him by sight.

Would she miss this peace? Yes, certainly. Or would she miss the Shroud itself? ...she would definitely miss the weather, compared to the frigid chill of Ishgard. And, yes, she'd been born here so it was the only home she knew, and due to that she would miss it, and her brother would still be here...

It all wasn't enough to make her dread the thought of leaving though. 'Home' was as much a feeling as it was a physical place and laying here beside Aymeric under the night sky as the nocturnal creatures and insects started to fill the air with buzzes and chirps, she knew wherever he was was where she'd feel most at home. Whether it was here or in Ishgard, she'd be content (and if she needed to she would find a way to make a space in Ishgard that was just as peaceful and quiet as here - a refuge for them to retreat to when the weight of the world became a bit too much).

They were both due back in Ishgard a day from now. Aymeric would be resuming his duties as Lord Speaker and Gaelle would be departing for Sharlayan the following morning; she shifted to lay her head on his chest and sighed. They would just need to make the most of the remaining time here, she supposed.

When justice comes at last to this world and I am made Intendant of an opera house, I will make them do Don Carlos in French with an all-French cast. Benjamin Bernheim, Sabine Devieilhe, Stéphane Degout, Gaelle Arquez, maybe throw some nasty old man makeup on Francois Lis as the Inquisitor. What I lack is a Philip, and a just world.

good things that happened this week:

had a mellow belated birthday celebration with my mom and sister. we got sweet life and played mario kart!

had the most perfect nectarine for lunch on a sunny walk after work on monday

barbie movie date with my wife! i brought my secret hearts ken doll.

late lunch/early dinner date with my wife at a little local place she found recently. it was such a nice atmosphere and the breakfast biscuit sandwich i got was sooo good

i finally watched resident evil (2002), one of my favorite movies, with my best friend over discord, and he really liked it!

had a really good churro from a local mexican place

made it through a really hard day on thursday and was kind to myself when i needed it!

bowling night and dairy queen with friends! im no good at bowling, but i did way better than usual. i think im improving with practice!

"Earth always dreamed big, but you prefer to dream small. You don’t need to see the world or to leave some sort of lasting impact in order to be happy. All you need is a quiet place for yourself and your animal friends to keep you company. Though, with all those animals you suppose you’ll need to make some sort of living in order to stay afloat and afford to keep them in the lap of luxury."

-Honestly she was a very easy kid, she loved being outside and she loved her mom's obsession with frogs. She wasn't a particularly artsy kid, but has always loved singing since she was a toddler. The little jam sessions she had with her mother Alice was always adorable. She was a good big sister too, she didn't always get Watney, but the two were very close.

-When Olympia was a teenager she wound up developing a crush on a boy at her school, his name was Isaac and honestly he was incredibly gay and uninterested in her romantically. But the two became Best Friends nonetheless. For years and years Oly viewed him as the platonic love of her life. The two did everything together. His prom date bailed on him? Well the two would just skip prom together and go swimming at the lake. Oly accidentally got knocked up with twins? He's moving in to help her out. They have the sweetest friendship. The girls honestly view him as their dad more than their actual one.

-Looping back to that night they ditched Prom though, both have grown up in the sticks and don't necessarily have the best sense of what is and isn't dangerous. The two often got caught doing stupid shit together just cuz they thought it might be fun. Prom night was one of those times where they were out somewhere they shouldn't have been. It was a beautiful full moon, and unfortunately for them they weren't the only one's wandering the woods. 

-Only Olympia wound up receiving a cursed bite though and for that she's always been thankful, the very first werewolf trait she got was the sad one lol. She isn't particularly fond of her new way of existing causing many emotional breakdowns and eventually moving to the very edge of town so that she wouldn't be a "danger" to any of those who cared for her.

-technically the challenge has Mars gen as a tech guru, but I imagine Oly just does that to get by. Her true passion in life has always been and will always be animals. It's not a career option in the Sims but just know in my heart her real career is "dog trainer"

-Recently this goofy little horse man moved to town, and its a small town where everyone knows everything. So it wasn't long before Chirimoya was introducing Shayne to her daughter. Olympia was immediately smitten with his horse Sugarbush, and he was immediately fond of how her whole demeanor seemed to soften as she made silly jokes to his horse. He's honestly super soft on her in general, the two only just started dating and this is Olympia first REAL relationship, and I love how gentle he seems with her. Also how contradictory their aesthetics are. He's got the nerdy but nice step-dad vibe down perfectly. Stormi likes him and Gaelle is indifferent. So long as he's nice to their mom they don't really mind this new addition to their lives.

From a distance, Farren hears the painful wails of those who made the unfortunate mistake of pursuing his sister. Soren whimpers and squirms in his arms. He shushes them as he pats them on the head. Over his shoulder, Soren’s eyes peer into the darkness as six Guardians emerge in ashen-grey cloaks with silver trim surrounding them.

“Farren Ira Vexx, you are under arrest for kidnapping and treason.” One shouted, drawing her weapon.

“Do I get to play? I want to play! Let me out Fare please.” Vega begs, buzzing with glee.

“Leave so I don’t have to hurt you.” Farren pleads.

“Your crimes can not be forgiven.” She barks, and a dagger flies slamming into Farren’s shoulder, narrowly missing Soren. The next blade soars past Soren’s face slicing their cheek. Soren wails in pain, grasping their cheek.

“Vega devour your prey.” Farren raises his hand, and a dark cloud of starlight seeps from his hand, the two behind him are enveloped in fog; Vega travels through their throats and noses, ripping the life out of them while their worst nightmares are played before their eyes. Her incandescent light bleeds through them, wreaking havoc. The rest of them lunge toward him, slashing, Soren gripping onto his neck for dear life. Their clinging to him makes his efforts to block them hard, causing him to get cut. The sound of clashing blades rings beside him, and their lifeless bodies fall to the ground.

“Vega come back.” Farren commands, halting Vega’s assault.

“But I was having so much fun!” Vega pouts, but obeying she bleeds back into him. Farren turns to his sister holding her blade to the remaining Guardian’s throat, pushing him to his knees.

“Be a good boy and tell us where Tavius is.” Celine questions, her slender hand replacing the dagger, and tightens her grip. “If you do, I might leave you walking away with this with your sanity intact.”

“I promise you this will go much smoother if you just tell us.” Farren beseeches, under his skin Vega is jittering with excitement.

“You and your whore sister won’t get anything out of me.” The Guardian gasps, “You are filthy traitors, and Stephan will never succeed. You have betrayed your brothers and sisters for a monster.”

“Brother, you should have better manners when my hand is on your throat.” Celine growls in his ear. “My patience and mercy are thin.”

“Celine, we need him,” Farren warns.

“There is no mercy in murder.” He spits out as blood drips onto the ground.

“Please, tell us where Octavius is,” Farren questions as Celine’s grasp tightens.

“I don’t know…” He chokes out.

“Now,” Celine tsks, “You shouldn’t lie. I’ll make it painless if you don’t lie.”

“Gaelle will damn you and your soul will never enter Selia.” He chokes out, underneath her fingertips, his skin begins to fall off his body like ash. Piece by piece, his life leaves his eyes, until there is nothing left but a pile of dust.

“You are pushing it Celine,” Farren cautions, as he watches his sister seem to struggle carrying Soren down the path towards the Drunken Raven.

“I’ll be fine Fare.” She dismisses him. “It was only a few spells; I’ve literally done wor-”

“Big spells!” He interrupts.

“Let it be!” She huffs as she walks further ahead of him.

“You know using too much every day could kill you.” He harps, following close behind. The children sleep soundly in their arms, and the tavern comes into view. They are a distance away, but the boisterous patrons can be heard.

“Oh, spare me, don’t lecture me on overusing magic.” She counters. “I don’t say a damn thing when you summon Vega.”

“That is entirely different, and you know it.” He argues, “summoning a Nebula is not just ‘using’ magic, it’s a bond.”

“Bullshit!”

“Whatever.”

“Don’t you whatever me." She mocks, “You know it’s the truth and I can’t have you dying on me little brother.”

“Celine, I’m a grown man.” He huffs.

“You are still little to me.” She laughs before opening the tavern-inn door. The room is full of drunken cheers and the scent of beer and sweat; as they enter, they are addressed by a portly man with a long-braided beard seated behind the check-in desk. As Celine makes her way to the desk, Farren sets the children and cub in the nearest chair before slumping in one himself. At the end of the dining hall, a loud group begins to drunkenly sing.

"There once was a bird in a pub, There once was a bird in a pub, He asked for a drink so he could think, There once was a bird in a pub, The bird had his drink, but he couldn't blink, There was once a bird in a pub, A man named Daven named it after the raven, the Drunken Raven will treat you well, And how the raven sat at the stool till he fell, There once was a bird at the pub."

Whack! Farren jolts forward after receiving a smack to the back of the head, courtesy of his sister. She motions towards the stairs; they make their way to their room for the night. As they enter, they are hit with the stale and moth-eaten covers of the beds and chaise. They put the children into their bed, while Farren takes a spot on the chaise. The silence between them becomes heavy, and a gnawing feeling builds in Farren’s stomach.

“Celine”

“What is it Fare?” She responds by giving him a side eye.

“What is the plan for the kids?” he questions.

“We take them to Stephan and train them to do what the empire needs.” She answers with a shrug as she lays her weapons on the nightstand.

“But they are just children.” He whispers.

“So were we Fare.” She hisses at him clouded eyes with pain before laying her head on the pillow. “Leave it alone.” Farren tucks his hands underneath his head and stares up at the ceiling focusing on the drips from the ceiling; there is a shifting coming from the other side of the room, and from the corner of his eye a small figure comes into frame. Soren. Who is staring at in curiously with bright umber eyes.

“Who are you?” They ask in a small voice.

“I’m Farren.” He answers flat as possible.

“I mean who are you to my mom?” They ask in a sarcastic tone. He blankly stares back, trying to figure out the best way to answer.

“A friend.”

“Where are you taking us?” she questions.

“To see your uncle.”

“I don’t have an uncle.” She states with a confused look.

“Y- Yes, you do,” he sighs. “His name is Stephan Wraith.”

Alternative material Delhi-based Dharaksha Ecosolutions offers biodegradable packaging that could be a replacement for thermocol and plastic made from the humble paddy straw. Yes, paddy straw — the same material that is hotly debated every year before the onset of winter since it is the source of severe air pollution as farmers in north India resort to stubble burning to clear their land to prepare for the next crop.

The young founders, Arpit Dhupar and Anand Bodh, started their journey in 2019 with the aim of addressing both air and plastic pollution. The research led to a proprietary biotechnology process through which packaging material can be produced that can biodegrade in 60 days in normal soil conditions. Their work was incubated at the Regional Centre for Biotechnology.

The process So, what exactly is this technology? Dhupar, the CEO explains the process. Crop stubble waste is first cut into finer pieces. This is hydrated by adding water creating a nutritious paste. The material is steamed in bags in order to be sterilised, so that most biological activity causing microorganisms that are present die. Along with this process, spores of the mushroom culture are created, and these can withstand heavy temperatures, hence they survive.

The bags are then sent inside a clean room where the spores also function like seeds. They germinate and mycelium of the strain starts growing on it. The mycelium starts eating the material as its food and starts spreading its fibre-like structure over the bag and once the growth is complete in the bag, the material is transferred to moulds where the mycelium grows further and takes the shape of the required mould. Once the growth is complete, the mould is taken out and sent to the oven where the culture is completely neutralised, leaving behind a bio-fabricated material that can be used as an alternative to thermocol.

“It took two years to solve the technical challenges,” says Dhupar. A time well spent as the product has a host of illustrious investors and the companies showing interest include V-guard, Dabur, Pernod Ricard, Nestle and Lowe’s.

Bacardi rum bottles, Skittles sweet wrappers, designer water bottles — a bevy of companies are developing biodegradable plastic packaging they say is better for the environment than traditional plastics.

While experts agree we should use less plastic in any form, some say as long as plastics are here to stay, we should be using degradable materials — and also pushing governments to help us dispose of them.

But amid confusion about what is or isn’t biodegradable, and in the absence of proper disposal facilities, some fear these “magical” solutions could lead to further environmental havoc and even encourage more wasteful consumption.

“People tend to believe they’re contributing to the protection of the planet while buying these products, but it’s not at all the case,” said Gaelle Haut, EU affairs coordinator at Surfrider Foundation Europe.

Synthetic petrochemical plastics can linger in the environment for hundreds of years.

Biodegradable plastics generally break down quicker but they do need to be disposed of correctly, whether it’s in an industrial compost facility or a home compost, Haut said.

But most people don’t have access to such facilities, meaning biodegradable plastics generally end up in recycling centers or landfills — or worse, the environment.

G-Man’s G-Baby: there’s no denying that in almost every way, she’s her dad’s carbon copy. The ‘almost’ part sticks out like a sore thumb when you see it. Naturally, she’s confident and charismatic (maybe almost TOO much) with a sharp tongue. In her eyes, this is just her putting on the right voice when she needs it, not realizing this is one of her biggest strengths, something that Gideon made sure of since she was born.

However, sometimes her high confidence can lead her to be impulsive and reckless in some situations. She’s an overachiever and very competitive. With who her dad is, it should be possible for her to do the things that seem impossible. It doesn’t matter what people say, it SHOULD all be possible for her because SHE can do it- that’s how that works, right?

Overall though, she is an energetic and outspoken person, able to strike up a conversation with just about anybody. She’s a huge nerd, having something to say about anything that’s on your mind. In fact, sometimes it almost seems like she can see into you, what’s up with that?

i’ve got ideas for others as well so if people are interested i’ll share them too sobs i wanna elaborate more on gaelle and gideon’s relationship because it’s pretty complex… you might be able to tell what’s going on with them. also this is mostly based on the comics but i’ve got an idea for an alt with the anime (fanfiction of fanfiction that’s how you know im in too deep)

i’ve been really busy with prepping for artfight but i’ve been doing drawings of this au in the meantime… i’ve been off these past few days but thinking about stuff like this makes me feel better :’))

Kinetic Type Project- Final Animation After Feedback

After this feedback, I have made some changes to my animation, to make it link more to my theme and Module 1. I think this feedback help me to get a perspective from another person's eye, and helped me see it from a clean and new point of view. The suggestions helped me to also think of new ideas for my animation.

So here is my final Kinetic Type Project (animation) which represents India and the connection to the Module 1 assignment.

I decided to changed the “No Dakshina…” part from Māori to Hindi. I think this shows a more in-depth meaning to India and also how i said that the Museo font reminds me of the hindi language which i have displayed in my animation. I swapped the text around with the images, and now i see what Gaelle meant about the images and text linking and making sense now.

Prompt 22: Fulsome

Ishgardian social niceties were exhausting, and Gaelle could only imagine how much worse it could be if she was both a hero and of a noble house or lineage. It also probably did not help her situation that it was openly known that Aymeric was courting her -- the Lord Commander and the Warrior of Light together made for quite a sight and no doubt was and would be fueling the gossip mills for the foreseeable future.

Aymeric was trying his best to gently ease her into this life; they'd had several very frank conversations on what their future could look like, what their respective responsibilities were and what that would mean for them. Gaelle knew she would always be called on to assist in a crisis and Aymeric, despite his best efforts, hadn't managed to extricate himself from leadership. As part of his duties he had to make social appearances, to discuss policy and law and keep abreast of problems or progress within the city.

Gaelle had accompanied him to several balls and dinner parties and she felt like she was being stalked by predators every step of the way; any time Aymeric had to excuse himself briefly the nobles pounced on her, showering her with fulsome praise and very obviously trying to dig for information under the appearance of polite interest in her and her recent adventures. Deflecting and giving non-answers on the fly, engaging in the delicate dance of politics until Aymeric returned to her side and the nobles scattered was, she supposed, a fact of life now... She felt so amateurish but hopefully this would get easier with time.

And, hopefully, she'd grow more used to the fine clothes. Gossip she could avoid engaging with but there wasn't any escape from the constricting gowns or uncomfortable shoes, ugh. At the very least in a few weeks' time Aymeric would be accompanying her back to Gridania, under the guise of a diplomatic trip but truthfully it was a much-needed vacation where they could spend some time with each other away from both their responsibilities. Perhaps he'd love the feel of grass and fresh soil beneath his feet as much as she did.

Sihm - Our Protagonist. She'll often be found climbing trees and wandering into one of the many unexplored caverns in the area (despite Tholak's warnings). She can't help it. She knows there's something secret there, waiting for her, calling to her through the whispering leaves.

Tholak- an Archeologist by passion but a resource scouter by trade. While on a dig for a crystalline energy source found in mineral deposits of the area, he stumbled upon a major archeological find of what appeared to be an ancient temple that sank into the earth. Dejaret was founded around the dig site.

Gaell- Tholak's son by blood, though he's never met his mother; he was sent to Tholak as a toddling after Dejaret was founded. He is gifted at languages, having grown up studying scrolls recovered from the buried temple. He'll often put himself and Sihm into awkward and dangerous situations in his quest for answers to the scrolls mysteries.

Cliff- No one quiet knows where Cliff came from, he was found as a feral child after the abandonment of Dejaret. The old innkeeper took him in as help and eventually passed the building to him. He looks out for Sihm and Gaell in an older brother kind of way.

Sheva- A self made woman, she owns and runs a nightclub in the little hallow of Dejaret. The establishment does well, being the only dance hall on the island and not too long a journey from Tre'Elis. The building was once a larger artifact depot that Sheva and other orphans inhabited after being left behind in Dejaret.

Jarvis- The smuggler was once the child of foreign traders that routinely stopped in Dejaret. They left Jarvis with Tholak, stating the weather and job ahead was too risky for a child. They never returned, and he was left to grow under Tholak's care with the other orphans of the village.

Mynessa- the book keeper of the university in Tri'Elis. Slightly older than Sihm, they're quiet familiar as Mynessa would often travel to Tholak's base to study texts brought up from various ruins. Her knowledge of ancient texts and languages rival Gaells, but she's not as foolhardy in her pursuits.

Corva- though she lived in Dejaret at its height, her family moved back to Tre'Elis after the collapse. Her and Sheva kept in touch. Her time in the port city built her a net of connections and suppliers. She turned her parents flat into a trade store dealing with regular imports and exports.

Anya- a gifted young alchemist from one of CySolice's oldest families. She's lived at the university since adolescence in order to hone her craft among the learned alchemic scholars of Tri'Elis. Slightly younger than Sihm and Gaell, she would often sneak along on Mynessa's trips to Dejaret to play with the two.
