I've recently gotten a new influx of followers, hello new followers! I'm Gacha, I am primarily a Blue Lock fic writer, I ship Kunigiri and I also play genshin and post about it on my side blog @gachagen

currently my requests are open and you can go to my A03 to read more fics from me that I don't post on tumblr.

Right now my main fic is a Genshin multi-chapter fic called Sharpen Claws, Sharpen Teeth that currently has 31 chapters. I sometimes talk about the fics I'm writing here, and will even give updates to readers when something comes up like if I have plans that conflict with posting.

And lastly, I write a lot of Meta about Blue Lock, RWBY, and pretty much any other interest I find myself consuming that day lol.

Still can't bring myself to change my icon on here since I've had it since I joined, but I wanted to share the amazing Pride icon I commissioned last month from @/whereshadowsthrive, plus the wonderful ref I commissioned from @/bri-wolfer. 💕 Their name is Wishapon and they are a Gachagon: a highly variable and often brightly colored species of fluffy dragon. They love collectables and trading, and when they are particularly happy, toy capsules will magically appear in their pouch for them to give away as gifts. 💖

Hiya there!! ive been a casual welcome home follower for a while now, but i want to get more into theorycrafting and speculation—do you have any recommendations for specific places to go for that :)? that is, any posts you like? specific theories you enjoy? videos, docs, well, anything at all really haha :D?

thank you, i had a lovely halloween! did a dramatic reading of 3d workers island and good sky by tony domenico and then watched a bunch of animash with my gf and a mutual friend of ours over pizza.

as for people whose theorycrafting i really enjoy, i'm afraid my recommendations are mostly limited to tumblr. youtube coverage of welcome home/WH speculation tends to be pretty hit or miss for me, and i don't visit WH subreddits often enough to see what the speculation there looks like.

WITH THAT SAID. some tumblr users who have been featured on this blog before and whose speculation is pretty in depth include @carnivalcarrion, @cloverchameleon, @pastelalleycat, @chinchillasinunison, @mobileleprechaun and uhhhh probably some other folks whose names i'm forgetting rn. @gachagon also has a good bounty of theoryposting that i have yet to go through but it looks very promising. @hyperrealisticblood does not post speculation often but we talk now n then and i've yet to see a bad take from him so go check him out probably

PXG stratum oneshot (Otoya's POV)

The halls of the unfamiliar stratum are quiet, but the layout resembles his current quarters. Whenever he passes a camera, sleek black domes adhered to the ceilings and walls, he puts a finger to his lips.

He ate, drank, slept soccer in his adolescence. He knew from a young age that he wanted to play for a living, but never envisioned it going this well. At home, he was run-of-the-mill, no taller than the average kid. In Tokyo, he was the bulkiest defender in the under-18s circuit.

“Exactly what I want to hear,” Kunigami smiles, squeezing his hand. And though they're barely more than strangers, in a dystopian situation of win or die, Chigiri knows the two of them will make it through.

“So show me,” Chigiri breathes, wind whispering through the trees.

So Kunigami does, until the glowing embers of the fire become ash, and the horizon shifts from dark blue to azure.

Halloweek fic 2 (Gen fic)

The film turns out predictable, but Rin isn't overly disappointed. It’s the director’s tight pacing and creation of atmosphere that he was invested in. But not everyone present is a hard-bitten horror veteran like him and Hiori.

And for the hell of it... here's the latest lines from a rewrite of my OC fantasy novel:

“You know Polly’s having a get-together tonight?”

“I—I do.”

There was no point lying—not when my oldest friend was his ex, and the two of them hung out on the regular. She must have put him up to this. The dull heat needling my spine prickled further, sensing an obstacle.

“And you knew about the last four she’s had,” he continued, the corners of his lips tightening, turning his expression rogueish. “She’s starting to wonder if you’re avoiding her.”

“I—I promised I’d catch up with her,” I replied, the notion of freedom slipping further from my grasp. Mikey stepped forward. As if to taunt me, behind him, the moon bloomed, waxing and startling in its brightness.

*Chp 8 of Cassis Orange's last line is spoilery, so you get a scene ending instead.

I will not return to Gaza and my destroyed home anytime soon, as I do not own a car and have no one to take me. Therefore, my children and I will remain in the abandoned school, bidding farewell to everyone and watching their joy as they return.

How will I return with my belongings?

My home was completely destroyed, and I have no means of transportation. If I must return on foot, how can I leave behind my children's blankets, sleeping mats, and everything we own?

Frustration consumes me.

I don’t know what I will do on the day of return. It is exhausting and deeply worrying for me and my children.

My campaign is completely halted.

I am considering closing it, but I hope to reach 80,000 to manage my affairs. I want to travel, as I no longer have a home to return to, nor an education to secure my children’s future.

Hey gachagon! If bluelock characters were in genshin what vision do you think they would have?

Oh my gosh I've been hoping for someone to ask this of me because its not like I haven't thought about this for ages or anything T_T But here's a list really quickly!

Isagi: Anemo bow (4 star) I think Isagi's always thinking about how best to move "freely" on the field or whatever, which is why I think he'd be another short anemo boy. If he had a kit I think it would definitely be focused more on EM sort of like Kazuha.

Bachira: Anemo Polearm (5 star) He's also very free spirited and his whole arc was about learning to play alone and by himself without having to rely on others in a game, or to play beside someone else. If he had a kit, I think it'd be an ER based one because of his dribbling.

Chigiri: Pyro Polearm (5 star because he's my favorite <3) In the first arc he was kinda sad and mopey and would avoid people, which isn't really like Pyro characters at all. But after his arc he actually is pretty friendly and open, and he's the more extroverted one out of Kunigiri if we're being honest, so I think Pryo does suit him. Chigiri is also very passionate about soccer to the point where he joined Blue Lock to find a reason to quit, and couldn't find it. If he had a kit it would definitely be based around something really niche and technical like reverse melt lol

Kunigami: Hydro Claymore (5 star) (Hydro is controversial but HEAR ME OUT-) He has a unique sense of justice but also wants to strive to help other people. And like a lot of hydro characters, I think he also suffers a lot from his own self confidence and self worth, as in I think he's a person who has worked really hard to feel as if he belongs and he's worked hard to uphold this "Hero image". After the Wild Card route though I can see him working hard on trying to be best "replacement" he can. I think he would function like Eula and be a physical character who uses their Hydro to boost their Phys stats.

Rin: Electro Sword (5 star) Electro characters are all about being outcasts but also subsequently leaders, so I think Rin fits perfectly for Electro. I think he'd be a really selfish DPS like Cyno that needs a shit ton of supports to actually drive. People would use him if they want to be sweaty in abyss.

Sae: Dendro Sword (5 star) Dendro characters are all about having this drive to continue learning about something and studying something they're passionate about, so I definitely think that Sae fits this considering he does care to find more people who make soccer interesting for himself. He went on what was essentially a study abroad trip for him, and made a name for himself while learning all about soccer. And when he came back he just tried to tell his brother all about the "good news" lol. He'd be a Hyperbloom focused dendro character like Kaveh, would have low scalings for Aggravate purely so you can't use him with Rin that well (just like in the manga!)

Nagi: Geo Catalyst (4 star) Geo characters are incredibly determined and have a pretty straight forward attitude. When they have a goal in sight they don't give up on it, and I think that fits Nagi perfectly. Sure he's lazy, but I can't see him ever giving up Soccer because it's something he genuinely does care about, and it makes the person he's with happy as well. Also when I think of Geo i think of kits that make being a DPS easy as hell. I think he'd be a broken support like Gorou.

Reo: Pyro Sword (5 star) Reo's whole thing is striving for things he wants, so that's why I think he'd be a pyro character. In most manga panels before the breakup, he's smiling and happy and literally dragging and carrying Nagi everywhere he can T_T The man went into a full on depressive episode because he thought his "soccer partner" chose someone else over him and gave up wanting to play soccer with him forever. I think he'd a full on Pyro DPS like Diluc.

Barou: Electro Claymore (5 star) Electro characters are all outcasts in my eyes, and I definitely think Barou fits that description given how he's practically pushed everyone away to be on top. He imagined himself as a nobody in a lame apartment after having to even THINK about passing to Isagi during one game, the guys got issues with not being number 1 T_T. I think he'd be a full on Aggravate character, but you could also use him in other places.

ahhhhhh here's all the ones I could think of for now because like this post is already so long and full of my ramblings about them lol
