Some more little bits i be thinking abt for those who want more dance content: (under the cut)

Usopp with his salsa fundamentals and luffy with his vague memories of samba end up, at some point, coming up with their own much more chaotic combo of the two. They r spinning around so fast its insane. Luffy is about to launch them into the sun. They're having a great time.

Sanji being absolutely miffed when the only other ppl on the crew who know how to couple's dance with him are Usopp and Luffy. He gets over it ofc, being able to actually dance with another person quickly overwhelms the "I wanted to tango with a beautiful lady" grief

Sanji being able to help Usopp re-learn salsa and them bonding over their moms abt it 🥲Luffy is a lost cause tho he's not learning shit /j

Brook inventing the most INSANE new dips/twirls/transitions because he no longer has muscles or skin or whatever in the way

Also I firmly believe Usopp listens & dances to anything made by Spice, Mr. Killa, and Yung Bredda, but he refuses to let the crew know this. He's not embarrassed or anything he's just fairly sure Sanji would have a heart attack and die if he heard the lyrics

As made obvious above I think Usopp and Sanji are the 1st and 2nd most versatile dancers, but neither of them dance more Often than Franky

If i had to rank them based on how often/readily they will dance its....in the order I placed the pictures, with chopper between brook and nami. Luffy is only so low cause he'd usually rather be eating, and brook cause he'd rather be playing, and zoro cause he'd rather be drinking/napping

Robin will readily dance with you if you ask her but she's not going to initiate

What would you do if one day, at the age of sixteen, all your friends from school disappeared?

On September 16, 1976 in Argentina, a group of soldiers entered the homes of high school-aged children to take them away.

Many of them never returned home.

A total of ten high school students were kidnapped and tortured by groups of the ruling dictatorship, six of whom were murdered without their remains being found to date: Claudio de Acha, María Clara Ciocchini, María Claudia Falcone, Francisco López Muntaner, Daniel A. Racero and Horacio Ungaro. The four survivors were Gustavo Calotti, Pablo Díaz, Patricia Miranda and Emilce Moler.

At the beginning of December 1976 Pablo Díaz was transferred to Gabriela Carriquiriborde's cell. He had his eyes covered by cotton wool wrapped with adhesive tape and communicated with his companion by touch: he touched her belly and leaned on it to listen to the baby's heartbeat. "Pablo, it's coming, it's coming," the girl was about to give birth. The detainees shouted for the guards. After the baby's cry was heard, the rest of the detainees were told that she was fine, that she had had a boy and that she was going to be transferred to a farm where she would be able to raise her child. She and her baby are still missing.

It is not fiction. It is not a horror story.

Pablo says: "Before leaving I ask the guard to see Claudia, I ask him to please agree. At that moment she starts shouting 'yes' and the guards tell me to be quick. Claudia was leaning against the back wall. I try to pull the blindfold off her eyes, but her body and eyes hurt because of the same condition I was in. She asks me to go to her mother's house and tell her that she is fine. I told her that I was going out and that we were going to meet outside", Pablo confessed between tears and continued "She told me that she had been raped from the front and from behind, that she would never be able to be a woman again and asked me to drink a toast for them every December 31st".

Pablo and Claudia never saw each other again.

Today is the commemoration of "La noche de los lápices" (The night of the pencils). Let us not forget the tortured teenagers, the stolen babies, the murdered children, the disappeared people.

The crime of these people? Protesting to make the bus fare to schools affordable for them.

Raza Jaffrey as Dr. Neal Hudson, an ER attending physician. A British-Indian former surgeon, his approach is quieter and more people-oriented, than his mentor Dr. Rorish. He connected with Christa during her first year of residency. In "Hail Mary", Hudson becomes a surgical attending, and is once again assigned to the ER (season 1).[7][8]

Bonnie Somerville as Dr. Christa Lorenson, a mature first-year resident. She was married with a son who died of brain cancer. Her experience and her divorce inspired her to attend medical school (season 1).[7]

Melanie Chandra as Dr. Malaya Pineda, a first-year resident (seasons 1–2). She went to medical school and did her internship at Angels Memorial, and is more familiar with the ER. She is a lesbian, who was once involved with a resident when she was a medical student.

William Allen Young as Dr. Rollie Guthrie, an ER attending physician with a very nurturing style; he takes Angus under his wing in his first days in the ER. Guthrie's wife committed suicide, a death that strained his relationship with his son, a surgeon. During season 2, Guthrie is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and undergoes corrective neurological surgery to delay the onset of symptoms. Guthrie had a daughter who died from carbon monoxide poisoning while Guthrie tried to save his son from a similar death.

Harry Ford as Dr. Angus Leighton, a first-year resident. His father is on the hospital board. He feels overshadowed by that and by the achievements of his older brother, a former resident, but slowly grows in confidence. In his second year he is encouraged to transfer and become a surgical resident.

Benjamin Hollingsworth as Dr. Mario Savetti, a first-year resident. He grew up poor and sees emergency medicine as his way out. He worked as a bartender before medical school.

Luis Guzmán as Jesse Salander, known as "Mama". A senior nurse who manages the residents, Jesse is tough but caring and supportive of the students. He and Dr. Rorish have a long-term, close friendship.

Boris Kodjoe as Dr. Will Campbell, Chief of Surgery. In season 2 he is assigned as the new Chief of the combined Surgery and Emergency medicine department in order to save costs, causing strife between him and Rorish. Campbell has a disabled daughter (season 2–3; recurring in season 1).

Jillian Murray as Dr. Heather Pinkney, a surgical resident who becomes involved with Mario.(season 2; recurring in season 1). He quickly ends it when he hears about her side relationship with Dr. Campbell. She gets in further trouble when it's revealed she's providing Angus with Adderall. When confronted by Campbell, she threatens to turn their past relationship into a sexual harassment case.

Noah Gray-Cabey as Elliot Dixon, a first-year resident in the ER (season 2-3).

Emily Tyra as Noa Kean, an ER resident and former dancer. She begins a relationship with Dr. Mario Savetti (season 3; recurring season 2)

Emily Alyn Lind as Ariel Braeden (season 3; guest seasons 1–2)

Shiri Appleby as Dr. Carla Niven, a former resident at Angels Memorial and Malaya's ex-girlfriend. She is diagnosed with leukemia while pregnant, and refuses treatment not wanting to harm the baby.

Christina Vidal as Dr. Gina Perello, the replacement Director of the Emergency Department at Angels Memorial, who takes over when Dr. Taylor is put on leave.

Gabrielle Carteris as Amy Wolowitz, R.N., a nurse in the Emergency Department.

Meagan Good as Dr. Grace Adams, returns to the ER after volunteering in Haiti. She is Dr. Neal Hudson's ex-girlfriend.

Tekst pisany na podstawie spektaklu z 4 września 2024. 

Jeszcze dziesięć lat temu mało który Amerykanin miał świadomość kim był mężczyzna widniejący na banknocie dziesięciodolarowym, choć tak często widywali jego twarz. Dziś sytuacja przedstawia się inaczej, a dzięki musicalowemu fenomenowi Lina Manuela Mirandy cały świat poznał imię Aleksandra Hamiltona, jednego z ojców założycieli Stanów Zjednoczonych i sekretarza skarbu w latach 1789 - 1795. 

Historię Hamiltona (Alex Sawyer) poznajemy z ust jego największego rywala, Aarona Burra (Jay Perry). Młody Aleksander, biedny chłopak z Karaibów, walczy o swoje miejsce w świecie podczas amerykańskiej wojny o niepodległość, za broń mając nieprzeciętny umysł i ambicję. Jako adiutant Waszyngtona (Aaron Lee Lambert), przyjaciel Lafayetta (Manaia Glassey-Ohlson), Laurensa (Hassun Sharif) i Mulligana (Jordan Castle), zapamiętały rywal Jeffersona i Madisona, nietuzinkowy imigrant wspina się po szczeblach władzy, tworząc system finansowy USA. Niestety to on sam jest swoim największym wrogiem, skutecznie doprowadzając się do samo destrukcji i krzywdząc swoją żonę Elizę (Nathania Ong). 

Spektakl opowiada o życiu sekretarza stanu używając współczesnego języka bliskiego szczególnie młodym ludziom: rapu i hip hopu, choć nie zabraknie też typowo musicalowej ballady. Ale Lin Manuel Miranda jest nie tylko świetnym kompozytorem, ale i genialnym tekściarzem, piosenka po piosence udawadniający swoją elokwencję i umiejętność perfekcyjnego dobierania słów. Na koniec musical zostawia widzów z przesłaniem: choć przedstawione w nim postaci położyły podwaliny pod obecną Amerykę, to w rękach obecnych pokoleń leży jej przyszłość. 

Alex Sawyer to fenomenalny Hamilton. Jednocześnie niesamowicie inteligentny, wygadany i gotów na walkę z całym światem, jak i niepewny w kontaktach z potencjalnymi przyjaciółmi. Jego “Hurricane” to jedna z najmocniejszych scen w tym ciężkim emocjonalnie spektaklu. 

Jay Perry jako Aaron Burr zachwyca od pierwszej sceny. Charyzmatyczny i pełen energii, natychmiast skupia na sobie uwagę. Wprowadza do roli pełną gamę ledwo zauważalnych manieryzmów, które zachwycają, gdy się je dostrzeże, lecz szybko znikają w odmętach pamięci. 

Nathania Ong jest uroczą Elizą Schuyler. Słodki głos i ujmujący sposób bycia zdobywają sympatię widowni, gdy tylko wkracza na scenę, a śpiewając ikoniczne “Burn” natychmiast ujmuje za serce. Zachwyciła mnie też jej interpretacja “Stay Alive (Reprise)”. 

Simbi Akande to cudownie dziewczęca Peggy Schuyler, ale i świetna Maria Reynolds. Co warto zauważyć, Akande gra Marię nie jako złowieszczą kusicielkę, ale jako kobietę, która podejmuje takie, a nie inne decyzje, bo nie ma innego wyboru. 

Emily-Mae wkłada w postać Angeliki Schulyer niesamowitą pewność siebie, ale i trudną do opisania rozpacz. Najstarsza siostra Schuyler to przecież bohaterka tragiczna, która od samego początku, wie, że nie może mieć tego czego pragnie. Zachwycają jej sceny z Elizą i Peggy, pełne czystej siostrzanej miłości, choć nie przesłodzone. 

Jerzy Waszyngton Aarona Lee Lamberta ma dwa oblicza. W pierwszym akcie jest bardzo ludzki, pełen obaw i niepewności, pokazując wyraźnie, że pierwotne klęski dają mu się we znaki. W drugim akcie nabiera pewności siebie i prezentuje się jako prawdziwy mąż stanu, a w “One Last Time” zachwyca przepięknym, głębokim głosem.  

Manaia Glassey-Ohlson podchodzi do ról Lafayetta i Jeffersona bardzo poważnie. Ogranicza szaloną choreografię, by skupić się na aktorskiej interpretacji tekstu, co szczególnie w drugim akcie daje naprawdę spektakularne efekty. Wspaniale obserwuje się go w “We Know” i “The Reynolds Pamphlet”.  

Hassun Sharif świetnie daje sobie radę jako John Laurens, ale zachwyca w roli Philipa. Dzięki zmianie głosu i sposobu zachowania, by dostosować się do wieku postaci, jako dziewięciolatek jest wspaniale dziecięcy. Za to grając dorosłego Philipa perfekcyjnie oddaje pewność siebie młodzika, ale i jego strach przed pojedynkiem. 

Zarówno Hercules Mulligan jak i James Maddison Jordana Castle’a kradną większość scen, w których się pojawiają. Jednocześnie aktor prezentuje swoją własną interpretację tych niestety niewielkich ról.  

Joel Montague to przezabawny Król Jerzy. Perfekcyjnie łączy arystokratyczne maniery z zachowaniem rozkapryszonego dziecka i wspaniale moduluje głos z frazy na frazę, osiągając komiczny efekt. Warto zwracać na niego uwagę na drugim planie, nawet w scenach, w których nie bierze czynnego udziału. 

Solistów wspiera zespół złożony z prawdziwych profesjonalistów, którzy współpracują ze sobą niczym tryby ogromnej, skomplikowanej maszyny. A przecież choreografia Andy’ego Blankenbuehla jest niesamowicie energetyczna, pełna nowoczesnych figur tanecznych, a jednocześnie niezwykle szczegółowa (warto wymienić początek do “Satisfied”, który odtwarza choreografię z “Helpless” od tyłu). Efekt zapiera dech w piersiach, szczególnie w scenach zbiorowych. 

David Korins zaprojektował statyczną scenografię, która praktycznie nie zmienia się przez cały spektakl. Drewniane pomosty zbudowane po trzech stronach sceny rozszerzają przestrzeń, a sprawnie rozmieszczone rekwizyty pomagają stworzyć na scenie przeróżne lokacje. Ale największe wrażenie robią obrotowe pierścienie, dzięki którym cała scenografia ożywa, a choreografia może wejść na zupełnie inny poziom.  

Aktorzy noszą kostiumy stylizowane na stroje z epoki. Zachwycają detale zarówno kostiumów, jak i fryzur. Paul Tazewell używa kolorów, by odróżnić od siebie postaci, ale i zasugerować w jakim momencie życia się znajdują. Każda z sióstr Schuyler nosi suknię innej barwy, a surduty Hamiltona stają się znacznie bardziej kolorowe w drugim akcie, póki nie przybiera czerni. Kolory odzwierciedlają też charakter: krzykliwy surdut Jeffersona idealnie pasuje do jego osobowości.  

“Hamilton” to spektakl stworzony z ogromną pasją i dbałością o detale, który porywa za serca i budzi trudne do opisania emocje. Ale to też dowód, że nagranie i masowa dystrybucja spektaklu, wcale nie wpływa negatywnie na sprzedaż biletów. Choć scenografia, kostiumy i sam tekst nie różnią się wersji dostępnej na Disney+, musical wciąż przyciąga rzesze fanów, zarówno w Nowym Jorku, jak i Londynie, a oglądanie go na żywo niesie ze sobą zupełnie nowe wrażenia. Warto wybrać się do teatru by poczuć jak wystrzały armatnie trzęsą salą, dać się porwać entuzjazmowi pozostałych widzów i przeżyć te niesamowite emocje razem z nimi. 

Ale to tylko moja opinia, a ja nie jestem obiektywna.

Bragança é a cidade onde estudantes pagam menos por um quarto

Bragança é a cidade que tem os quartos mais baratos para arrendar no país, com um preço médio de 170 euros, segundo o observatório do Plano Nacional para o Alojamento no Ensino Superior (PNAES).

De acordo com o índice de preços que recolhe informações em portais imobiliários e páginas da internet de agências do setor, e que analisa 20 cidades de Portugal continental e ilhas, em Bragança os preços de quartos para estudantes oscilam entre os 129 e os 250 euros, mínimos e máximos.

De acordo com o mesmo estudo, em setembro de 2021, data mais recuada disponível desta compilação de dados, em Bragança o preço médio de um quarto era de 123 euros. Há três anos, o preço mínimo era de 92 euros e o máximo era 261 euros.

"Hoje em dia já começa a ter os mesmos valores do que o litoral (...). No futuro, pode ser um entrave para virem estudar para Bragança e isso preocupa-nos", referiu à Lusa André Caldeira, presidente da Associação Académica do Instituto Politécnico de Bragança.

O representante da academia estudantil atestou que o custo de um quarto tem vindo a aumentar, sendo que neste momento há os que passam já "a casa dos 200 euros, muitos deles 220 ou 250".

"E alguns deles com condições que não são as mais desejadas, principalmente em Trás-os-Montes, em que o frio no tempo de inverno se faz sentir", continuou André Caldeira.

O jovem relatou que ainda continua a ser frequente "passar ou não recibo", sendo que, em caso afirmativo, "o preço parece que dispara".

"Devia haver uma tabela e controlo de alguma entidade para conseguir controlar essa parte do alojamento", defendeu André Caldeira.

Gabriela Rente entrou em Arte e Design. É de Seia. Encontrar quarto em Bragança, disse, "não foi assim tão difícil, mas também não foi assim tão fácil", porque os preços com que se deparou não foram os mais convidativos.

"Pago 220 euros, mais as despesas. Então, torna-se um bocadinho caro", confessou a jovem, acrescentando que vinha prevenida para rendas entre os 150 e os 200 euros.

Maria Madaíl é de Aveiro e está no primeiro ano de Línguas para Relações Internacionais. Paga o mesmo do que Gabriela, 220 euros por um quarto.

"Como estamos mais longe, achava que ia ser muito mais barato. Com as despesas da escola e da alimentação, pago um balúrdio. E não tenho ajuda de bolsas", partilhou Maria.

Já Francisca Camelo, de Celorico de Basto, aluna do segundo ano do curso técnico superior de Acompanhamento de Crianças, esteve num quarto a 175 euros mensais, mas optou neste período letivo por um a 200 euros, porque o anterior "ficava a meia hora" de distância da escola.

Com o bolo dos gastos a cada mês e sem direito a bolsa de estudos, Francisca admitiu que "está a fazer um esforço para estudar".

O Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (IPB), com polos em Mirandela e Chaves, tem cerca de 10 mil alunos. Este ano, no total de todas as fases de acesso, chegaram por volta de 2300 novas inscrições.

O presidente, Orlando Rodrigues, revelou que as camas que a instituição tem à disposição ainda não são suficientes para os bolseiros que têm, mas garantiu que estão a trabalhar nisso.

"O alojamento é uma dificuldade. Tem havido um desajustamento entre a oferta e a procura, uma vez que houve um crescimento acentuado nos últimos anos (...). Estamos a procurar resolver este problema com mais oferta de residências", disse Orlando Rodrigues, relembrando que o IPB tem quatro residências em construção na região, que representam mais 500 camas a juntar às 350 já existentes.

O politécnico aderiu também ao programa governamental Alojamento Estudantil Já, anunciado este ano letivo, e que permitiu ao IPB adicionar cerca de 60 camas, 20 das quais estão, segundo foi informado pela Diocese Bragança-Miranda, no Seminário de S. José.

Os acordos Alojamento Estudantil Já previam criar, em todo o país, 709 alojamentos em 22 Pousadas da Juventude e em quatro unidades do INATEL.

O Governo também disponibilizou às instituições do ensino superior "5,5 milhões de euros para celebrarem protocolos com entidades, públicas, privadas ou sociais.

Contactado pela agência Lusa, o Ministério da Juventude e Modernização informou que "até ao momento foram ocupadas 222 camas em Pousadas da Juventude, num total de 673 disponibilizadas, e 6 camas em alojamentos do INATEL, num total de 36 disponibilizadas".

Já através da linha de crédito foram contratadas 428 camas ao abrigo desta medida e cerca de mais 400 em fase de contratualização, segundo ainda o gabinete de Mariana Balseiro Lopes.

"Não chega, mas já é uma ajuda para estabilizar um pouco o mercado. De qualquer forma, os privados também estão a responder. Tem havido bastante investimento, de mais qualidade (...). Necessariamente, nos próximos anos, este problema resolver-se-á", rematou Orlando Rodrigues.

Arrendar um quarto em Portugal tem um custo médio atual de 398 euros, segundo o mesmo observatório PNAES. Em oposição a Bragança, a cidade mais cara é Lisboa, onde um lugar para dormir custará em média a um estudante 485 euros.
