On October 13, 2023, the Chicago City Council held a meeting to vote on a “Resolution in Solidarity with Israel.” Gabriel Miller was one of the voices who spoke up against the double standard that is being held in favor of Israel and against Palestine.

In the end, Chicago City Council passed the pro-Israel resolution, despite the protests of people like Gabriel.

Gabriel Miller:

I would like to add my voice to the court here today in opposition to this ridiculous, ridiculous resolution. At a time when the rest of the world is condemning Israel for committing war crime after war crime, Chicago is fiddling around on whether to condemn Hamas. By doing so, Chicago will be doing its part in enabling the genocide of Palestinians, and this resolution acts like it’s on the side of innocent civilians.

Previously, tensions are high after Team Ace Attorney defeated Team Danganronpa in a grudge tag team match. Both sides blame each other for the rise of “Beautiful Despair”, a heel stable consisting of Junko Enoshima (Danganronpa), Dahlia Hawthorne and Larry Butz (Ace Attorney). With both factions refusing to speak to each other, Athena Cykes (Ace Attorney) went off on her own to recruit a 3rd-party for help.

Athena ends up hiring L Lawliet (Death Note) to figure out why Dahlia and Junko joined forces. But just as L agreed to the case, he’s suddenly attacked at home. It turns out, Beautiful Despair had been tracking Athena’s movements the whole time.

The fight is brutal, resulting in the destruction of L’s office and ending with him being thrown through a window (kayfabe: since this is wrestling, it was made of sugar glass).
