I'm a few days late (sorry 🫣) but I still wanted to share the nail art I did for the season 7 premiere. I used to do my nails all the time, but hadn't done them for years before this design. I was still in a lockdown when the season aired... it was a crazy time to live through and in different ways it's still a crazy time to live in, but the show has always been a constant for me.

Anyway, happy 10 years to The 100!

The sun started to shine today, and so much the better, because with all the work I have to do, my morale is at half-mast. I'm also thinking of all those for whom everything is complicated at the moment.

I came out of nail art retirement to say goodbye to The Walking Dead. I did the ones on the right for the season 5 premiere (8 years ago!!) and I wanted to recreate the ones for the series finale in a similar way.

girl i am SAD about the walking dead ending in 2 hours!!! sad!! i love this show i love the fanbase it has i LOVE that it made a post show talk show JUST TO dissect the episode and to give bts clips and to just talk about what went down

i didnt go through watching this show with anyone in real life so the online aspect has been huge for me and watching talking dead was so important to me bc it wasnt just me who was so insane about the teeny tiny details and the symbolism and i am just..... sad to see it end i am really going to miss what being a part of this fanbase has been like

october felt so so long. i felt alone for a lot of it and made bad choices and really just wallowed in it. but today and this weekend, people showed up for my birthday. my friend threw me a party. a coworker baked me my favorite cake. another friend took me out to an axe throwing place, something i hadnt done before. i felt a lot of love today and i want to remember this day forever. when it feels impossible to think about being around for another year, i need to remember that the love is there.

a 4.8 earthquake (!!!) happened about 50 miles away from me this morning (!!!!!!!)

i felt the house shaking and i was swaying back and forth and could hear a rumbling noise.. i ran outside and nothing looked wrong!! no one else was outside, i went to the backyard and it was the same. nothing fell over in the house, nothing looked moved, the birds were still chirping... i truly thought i finally cracked and lost my mind but it was an EARTHQUAKE!!!!!
