Haas: had to see what kmag and hulk wears day to day😭 but George gonna slay in this. Haas kept the design simple and stay true to the black, white and red concept. I love the jacket design on the left. Can see George slaying on that. This ⬇️ gon be 8/10

racing suits and fireproofs? No 💙 But this is better than Mazepin era Haas where that ugly Ural Kali logo is there. The current one stay true to red white black concept (i think haas fits red white black colour scheme than blue white one), the logo placement is not bad but can't see george slaying in this (his face still gonna save the whole thing tho) 6/10. Mid. George face card saving the fits tho

Aston Martin: If george can make petronas green beautiful, he can make aston martin green amazing. I think aston martin is one of the teams that is really creative with their fashion line (rb the least sorry). I dislike alonso's jacket on the left but lance's jacket is a slay for george (esp if he unzip the top zipper 👀). team shirt is amazing. Staying true to their white and green concept.

Racing suit and fireproofs is a yes. I love how "aramco" and "cognizant" font just clicks together (some teams' sponsor fonts ruin the clothes cuz they dont match). That big ass AM logo on the fireproof? YES. Not a fan of those big logo but George can wear these fits and slay AM green (i have proof for that)

Darker shade but aston martin is a yes for him. 8.5/10 for AM

Ferrari: MIXED FEELINGS. I'm sorry to ferrari george supporters but this thing is 2nd worse after mclaren. Ferrari's fits are authentic and screams FORZA FERRARI to anyone who wears it. The mix between red, black, yellow and slight white are very good combos but for george? No. I cannot imagine george in this

Ferrari fits can scream SCUDERIA FERRARI and McDonalds at the same time. Besides the last time we saw george in a bright red fit, he look goofy but pookie always handsome tho ❤️

these jackets and that black fireproof. ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Ferrari fits overall 9/10. But if george wears that 7.5/10. Again face card saves him. But this ⬇️ won't even get saved by his face card. It looks piss-y yellow. This one is -10/10

Alfa Romeo: This yes. Black colour is for GEORGEEEE. I swear Alfa Romeo release one of the best fashion merch. Like??? SLAY?? I love the jacket + hat on top right. Reminds me of the tie dye merc merch george wears (and he slayed wearing that!!) I think AR logo is also very pretty + the fonts too

This ⬇️ no. Hate the white. Makes them look like ice cream sandwich. Overall 8.5/10. George would slay this

Alpha Tauri: Mid. I mean they stick with the white dark blue scheme but it's plain mid. However, i don't see how george would fail this. From shirts, jackets, racing suit and fireproofs. George wpuld slay this mid outfit and i'll give it a 7/10 (yukierre pics ☺️)

Mercedes i'm begging to put George in white again. He slays black/petronas green look but white!!

For anyone failing to imagine George in RB suit. I found this from a youtube thumbnail long time ago. I am fine with RB racing suits but the brand logo colours makes it look cheap.

i had a dream about george in an aston martin shirt (idk what happened) but imma rate (based on my imagination) george in other team's clothings:

-Mercedes: Love their sponsor/brand logos placement, good white and black colour logos which is basic and also classy at the same time, their trademark is honestly "PETRONAS" and it's kinda hot tbh. It fits George simple but classy outfit choice sometimes which is why he looks the best on merc merch no matter how mid they are. Merc always keeps it simple but classy 9.5/10

-Red Bull: I have mixed opinion abt this. George would look good on their main dark blue colour BUT the sponsor/brand logos kinda ruin it with their flashy dominant yellow-red colours😭😭. Plus those big ass bulls. Can't fully imagine the image of george on that. But George would look great in some of the more simple shirts like this:

Williams: Same as merc. The base colour is good. I love how they place their brands and logos on the shirts/racing suit. It's not too flashy and contrary to him looking villainous in red bull's dark blue, a lighter shade of blue like williams' would make him look ✨👼. 8.5/10

McLaren: Sorry to say but i hate their racing suit & fireproofs design.. IT'S LIKE THEY JUST SLAP THE LOGO EVERYWHERE + the colours messy 😭. They look like fcking human billboards. The merch is nice and simple. The orange is so mclaren but it's funny to imagine george in papaya colours 🤣🤣. He would pull it off looking a bit goofy ig. 4/10

Introduction

Soil salinity and brackish ground water are primary concerns for reduced productivity in the arid and semiarid regions of the World covering 953 million ha of land [1]. In India, it occupied 2% of the TGA and is distributed in fifteen states that covered Genetic plain, central arid and semiarid regions, southern peninsular plain and coastal areas [2]. Transportation and deposition of salts at the lower topographic zones are primary processes controlling genesis and distribution of salty soils in the Genetic plain besides high evaporation in arid zone, salty parent materials and brackish ground use in peninsular plain and inundation of saline sea water in coastal areas are other soil salinization processes [3]. Factors of anthropogenic origin include the use of salty ground water and canal water for irrigation in poorly drained soils of arid and semiarid regions that caused the emergences of water logging, salinization and losses of soil/crop productivity [4,5].

Traditional methods of soil survey using aerial photographs and soil profile studies require enough time and manpower for soil characterization which is limited to small areas. Temporal dynamics of salts is also an important issue which is usually unaddressed in soil survey studies. Indian Remote Sensing Technology (Resources at I&II) with improved spatial and spectral resolutions have facilitated the diagnosis of salt affected soils in less time and cost effective manner with limited resources. For delineation and characterization of salt affected soils on a reconnaissance scale, a methodology was developed integrating remote sensing data with ground truth and soil studies [6]. Legends were developed to address nature, characteristics and extent of saline and sodic soils for land reclamation & management. Prognostic studies on soil salinity were also conducted using high resolution remote sensing data (SPOT, MODIS etc.) in Western Yamuna, Bhakra and Sir hind (Haryana and Punjab states); IGNP (Rajasthan state), Sharda Sahayak (Uttar Pradesh state), Ukiah Kakarpar (Gujarat state), Upper Krishna (Karnataka state) and Gandak (Bihar state) canal command areas of India to quantify soil salinization processes integrating topography, soil texture, hydrology and sub-surface soil and aquifer characteristics Spatial variability of salts was studied at farm scale in the Shivari (at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh state) and Nain (at Panipat, Haryana state) experimental farms of ICAR-CSSRI, representing sodic soils of the Middle- and saline soil and salty groundwater in the Trans-Gang tic plains of India [7,8].

Interpretation of IRS data facilitated the identification strongly salt affected soils by the white to yellowish white tones and high spectral contrast of salt crusts from barren surfaces. Based on the dark blue/black to grey tones in the infrared range (SWIR), the waterlogged soils were clearly identified in canal irrigated areas showing stagnated water at soil surface with poor natural drainage. High reflectance from dry salts during June and freshly precipitated moist salts during March and October enabled the detection of sodic soils and areas with sodic (with high RSC, Residual Sodium Carbonate, and SAR, Sodium Adsorption Ratio) ground water [9]. Contrarily sodic soils with normal ground water showed mixed red and spotted while signatures and high NDVI values for crops with good vegetative covers. Moderately and slightly sodic soils showed mixed spectral signatures for salt crusts, moderate cropping density and surface wetness and is authenticated by ground truth study. The dark red tones of healthy vegetation and high NDVI values are found for normal cropped areas. Differential absorption from seasonal water logging and surface ponding were established in the infrared regions (SWIR) with higher accuracy [8]. Combination of red and infra red bands helped in segregating saline and sodic soils located in different geographic regions (Singh and Mandal 2007). Integration of thermal band interpretation helped in segregating salty areas and sand dunes [10].

Sodic soil profiles indicated prominent natric horizon with clay illuviation, iron and manganese mottles with higher moisture content and calcareous materials at sub-surface depths. Soils showing high PHS, ESP and SAR values and the dominance of carbonate and bicarbonates of sodium in the saturation extract indicated sodic nature [11]. High moisture content in soil profiles, salt accumulation at the root zone and salt dynamics in wet and dry cycles are common features of waterlogged (surface ponding), high water table depth (potential water logging) and seasonal water logging in the canal irrigated areas respectively [12]. Continuous use of salty ground water for irrigation in arid and semiarid regions caused salt enrichment in soil profiles. Periodic inundations of saline sea water in coastal fringes, and the use of salty water for fisheries development projects have abandoned large areas of good agricultural lands out of cultivation. Water samples with high pH and SAR values and at places high RC are typical qualities of water in arid and semiarid regions [13]. Water logging, high clay contents, smectite clay minerals and poor to very poor (sporadic) cropping density and ground water quality are some of the constraints in the peninsular plain, causing difficulty in the detection and delineation of salt affected soils [5]. Black soils of Peninsular (F) region were classified as sodic, as soil ESP (Exchangeable Sodium Percent>5) is becomes critical at this stage. For management purposes, the complex saline-sodic soils of A (alluvial), B(aeofluvial/arid) and H(others) are classed as sodic. Due to high salt enrichment in soil profiles, typical soils in coastal (D), deltaic(C) and mud flats mangrove swamps (G) were classified as saline. Benchmark salt affected soils were also identified to support monitoring and management of salt affected soils [14] distributed in fifteen agroclimatic and seven physiographic regions in India (CSSRI 2002- 2005). Interactive databases with climate and geology revealed largest areas (67%) in the 300-1000 mm rainfall, followed by 75% in the strong hypothermic (25-27.5oC) temperature zones and 39% in the Pleistocene and recent geological formations [15]. Recent IRS data [16] revealed distribution of salt affected soils (315617 ha) in 18 districts of Haryana state that showed an increase in areas under saline soils to 145054 ha and decrease of sodic soils to 170563 ha, apparently due to soil salinization in irrigated areas and sodic land reclamations (CSSRI 2017-18). Attempts were also taken to update sodic soil database in Uttar Pradesh and areas of saline soils in Gujarat state [17-21].

reading the hitball arc my brain is picking up so many little bits of info but has no idea how to put them all together to form any kind of coherent analysis (cue me rambling aimlessly as i try 2 find that thesis statement) ((this devolved into garbled passionate yelling real quick))

previously “established” in another “text post” i made “a few months ago”: during the game max is wearing wristbands, one blue and one red, which for the sake of this thought process i take to represent max n johnny respectively

also went over how max switching both wristbands to the same arm post-game ~symbolically~ parallels him & johnny having worked together to defeat hijack & come to understand each other a little better & the bands being on the same arm now represents them being on the same team/side

at one point during the game max gets all shaken up abt having dodged one of hijeff’s earlier attacks instead of like standing his ground i guess?? putting himself before his teammates??? am i interpreting this right i feel like im missing smth

one of the key pieces of the game is the golden switch, a ball that has the power to make anyone hit by it switch teams & join sides with the one who threw it at them. this is the ball used in the final play of the game in which max and johnny work together to take down hijeff for good

in said final play, 1) the golden switch hits max, probably symbolic of smth, & 2) breaks one of his arms, the one w/ the blue wristband- based on the color theory i feel like this should also be symbolic of smth somehow ?? max making a sacrifice in order to become a team w/ johnny?? a self-sacrifice??? is the injury representative of itself???? is it literally just as simple as “max is the one that got hurt so the arm w/ the blue band gets broken” ????? but throughout this entire comic thus far max has been first and foremost his own top priority meaning that he doesn’t do anything for anyone else unless there’s something in it for him, he’s not the type of guy to make sacrifices for other people, or more specifically for “The Greater Good” and, considering how shaken up he got earlier about instinctively jumping out of the way of hijeff’s attack while everyone else jumped right in its path to protect each other, it’s kind of a big deal for him to now be putting himself directly in harm’s way instead of like finagling the situation into making johnny the throwaway instead (esp bc max has every reason to believe johnny deserves to have pain inflicted on him more anyway) so maybe the break represents some kind of shattered mindset that he had to undergo in order to then effectively team up w/ johnny??? which would make the metaphor like

1) max n johnny r Enemies who Fight (wristbands on separate arms) 2) max has the sudden realization that johnny is Upstaging him by Caring About and Defending His Friends & generally being a lot braver than him and that he needs to Step Up His Game in response (arm gets broken) 3) now that max has that new resolve he n johnny join forces & also like understand each other a lil better?? due to working together??? (blue wristband gets moved over to other arm w/ red one bc of the injury)

Hot New Mopars For 2018! Widebody Hellcat, Trackhawk & More!

Every summer, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) brings in automotive journalists from around the world to their “What’s New” media event to check out soon-to-be released 2018 rides from all the brands such as Chrysler, Dodge, SRT, Ram, Mopar, and Fiat. While there was not one brand-new totally redesigned car or truck in attendance at this event, there were plenty of new looks combined with performance and attitude for many of the updated 2018 models. This is also one of our favorite media events of the year as we get to drive like mad men in high-powered Hemi machines around the fabled Chrysler Proving Grounds nestled in the rolling hills of Chelsea, Michigan. So here are highlights on what’s hot, cool, and coming soon to a dealer near you!

2018 Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody The biggest news from Dodge at this event wasn’t the Demon that got let loose back in April in the Big Apple, but rather its tamed, street friendly, nicer twin: the Hellcat Widebody. We had seen images of a Challenger SRT Hellcat clad in wheel flares popping up all over the Internet and many proclaimed this to be some Demon engineering mule, but we had other thoughts and had a notion the fender flares (first seen on the Challenger GT concept almost two years ago) would be repurposed for another project. Little did anyone know (except us!) that the Hellcat Widebody was hiding in plain sight right under our noses. While the world was possessed by the Demon, the SRT engineers were developing the Hellcat Widebody. Good thing they did and here’s why…

The Hellcat Widebody gets more meat on all four corners and makes better use of its tried and true blown 6.2L Hemi and all its glorious 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. torque. According to Dodge/SRT, road course lap times on a 1.7-mile track got lowered by approximately 2 seconds per lap verses a standard Hellcat Challenger. In the drag strip arena, the place most Hellcat owners will likely frequent, the Widebody ran 10.90s on stock Pirelli street rubber verses 11.20s on the standard Hellcat rubber (275/40ZR20).

The Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody won’t get the sticky Nitto NT05R 315/40R18 street-legal drag radials as found on its evil twin, the Demon, nor does it get the Demon’s ’68 Super Stock Hemi Dart inspired hood scoop. All that was borrowed from the Demon’s part bin was its fender flares and front spoiler that add an additional 3.5 inches to the Challenger’s width.

Filling the Hellcat Widebody’s flared wheel wells is a more civilized rubber for everyday usage. Pirelli P-Zero 305/35ZR20 tires mounted on what Dodge calls “Devil’s Rims.” These split-five spoke aluminum wheels measure 20 x 11 inches and have a cool matt finish. This helps camouflage the massive amounts of brake dust from the six-piston Brembo brakes kissing those two-piece 15.4-inch rotors as you haul the 4,400-lb Hellcat Widebody down from 195 mph.

The 2018 Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody gets a standard electric power steering (ESP) with selectable modes, a new front splitter (borrowed from the Demon), new grille and fender badges, and optional colors for the Brembo brake calipers. A new interior seating color is available called “Demonic Red Laguna.”

One final note, unlike the Demon which comes in only an automatic, the Hellcat Widebody can be had with a manual transmission for those of you who like grab gears and play footsy with a third pedal. Starting price is $71,495 MSRP, and don’t worry, there’s no limit to how many Dodge will crank out from its Brampton Assembly plant.

2018 Charger The Charger lineup for 2018 remains mostly unchanged but there are some cool things for America’s favorite four-door muscle car. On the Charger SRT Hellcat, it also gets a refreshed grille and fender badges, new wheels, and optional colors on the Brembo brake calipers including black, orange, and gunmetal. Like the Challenger SRT Hellcat, you can outfit the Charger SRT Hellcat interior with Demonic Red Laguna Leather.

For the budget conscious buyers not looking to increase insurance company profits, the Super Track Pak option is available on the 3.6L V6 Charger SXT Plus. What you get are some really cool upgrades such as Bilstein shocks, 3.07 axle ratio, performance hood with air induction (borrowed from the Scat Pack and Daytona), performance styled front and rear fascias, sculpted side sills, and Dodge Performance Pages in which you can sort through all sorts of good data such as reaction times, 0-60 times, g-force indicator, lap times, and more. The 3.6L V6 also gets a power bump from 292 to 300 for more scoot with less loot. Think of the 2018 Charger SXT Plus with Super Track Pak option as a modern day Duster Twister or Demon Sizzler, except only faster and better mpg.

2018 Durango As more buyers step away from sedans and into SUVs, it was only a matter of time for the SRT engineers to give the Durango a serious shot of performance. With the launch of the 475-horspower 2018 Durango SRT back in February, Dodge now had a serious player in the field of fast and capable AWD family haulers that have three-row seating. With e.t.’s solidly in the 12-second zone, the Durango SRT epitomizes the “family that drag races together stays together.” The fact it has a best-in-class towing capacity of 8,600 pounds means Durango SRT might give your trailered race car a run for the money.

Also new for 2018, all Durango R/T models will share the Durango SRTs intimidating front fascia and performance hood that has a scoop and heat extractors. The new lower front valence also houses a new cold-air duct system to help the R/T’s 360-horsepower 5.7L Hemi make good use of cold, fresh air.

“Performance is more than just stats and Dodge performance is an attitude that permeates through everything we do,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands (Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA, North America). To that point, even the Durango GT’s lowly 295 horsepower 3.6L V6 can be had with the SRT hood. While some diehards may take this as a dilution of the SRT brand, we say bring it on. If it helps Dodge move sheetmetal and gives buyers more options to personalize their vehicles, it’s a good thing. Also, B5 Blue will be available exclusively on the Durango R/T and SRT later in the production run.

2018 Jeep Trackhawk After two years of enthusiasts asking for the 707-horsepower Hellcat Hemi to be dropped in an AWD platform, the SRT geniuses created the new Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. To say the engineers and product planners got it right would be an understatement. The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is the most powerful and quickest SUV ever to roam the soccer field’s parking lot. With 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, quarter mile times in the 11.6-second range, and a top speed of 180 mph, the Trackhawk can also drop would-be opponents at the drag strip at will.

The SRT folks made sure not detune the Hellcat’s claws when they dropped it into the Grand Cherokee as the 6.2L Hemi still delivers 707 horsepower with only a slight drop in torque (645 lb-ft versus 650 in Challenger/Charger Hellcat models). Like its naturally aspirated stable mate, the Grand Cherokee SRT, the Trackhawk gives owners a myriad of tuning options for on-road or on-track. These include things like the four-wheel drive system, transmission, paddle shifters, stability control, suspension, and steering.

The 2018 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is still a Jeep and that means it also has to be a functional SUV. Trackhawk can tow 7,200 pounds so you’re good to hook up your trailer with you vintage muscle car and go places. At this time, pricing has not been announced but an educated guess would put the Trackhawk north of $70K. Look for it coming fast later in the year.

Ram Brand Even though the current Ram is going on close to a decade without any major changes, the product planners are still finding ways to keep the truck fresh and exciting. New for 2018 is the Ram Sport Appearance package for 1500. The standard equipment includes a new grille borrowed from the Ram Limited but painted body colored, 20-inch painted or polished wheels, halogen projector headlamps, and other goodies that will make the guys at the Home Depot loading dock jealous.

If you like you pick-ups dripping in luxury, then the 2018 Ram Limited Tungsten package is for you. The Ram Limited is well appointed as it comes but the Tungsten package subtracts the bright, shiny chrome bits and replaces them with Tungsten color trim. Select body color features also give the Ram Limited Tungsten a more refined look, perfect for when the caddy at the private club gets your golf bag out of the bed.

The interior is also wrapped in leather with a suede headliner thrown in for good measure. It’s the kind of interior you’ll want to remove your muddy work boots for before stepping up into the cab. The Ram Limited Tungsten edition is available in 1500, 2500, and 3500 models and will be available in later this year.

For you off-road wannabes, the Rebel stays for another year and gets a factory-installed leather option and some new colors for 2018 including Blue Streak. Don’t look for a hopped-up version of the 6.4L Hemi under the Rebel’s hood. The current 5.7L Hemi cranking out 395 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque carries on to fight another model year.

Meet the Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody. Think of it as a street friendly Demon that can be driven daily while bending corners and clicking off 10.90 e.t.’s at will on the stock Pirelli tires. Unlike its satanic Demon brother, the Hellcat Widebody makes for a better daily driver.

The feedback among the Mopar faithful on the Hellcat Widebody flares is almost universally positive and we personally dig them. Those massive 20 x 11-inch “Devil’s Rims” and 305/35ZR20 Pirelli P-Zero tires fill up those broad shoulders.

Head of Passenger Cars for FCA, Tim Kuniskis, was grinning at the press event. While his team of SRT engineers had been developing the Demon for months, the Challenger Hellcat Widebody was running around in plain sight and no one realized it. Glistening in Octane Red, the Hellcat Widebody is stunning in person, take our world for it.

The 2018 Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody is powered by the tried and tested 707-horsepower 6.2L supercharged Hemi. Even with the massive Pirellis on the Widebody, the 650 lb-ft torque from the blown Hemi can still roast them at will.

New for 2018 on the Challenger SRT Hellcat and Hellcat Widebody is the Demonic Red Laguna leather interior. It’s blindly beautiful when sunlight dances off those high-back bucket seats.

Mark Trostle, Head of Design for Dodge and SRT, played a major role in creating the 2018 Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody and making sure the sculpted wheel flares gave it a wider, more menacing stance.

The 2018 Challenger SRT Demon looks great in B5 Blue. Unfortunately, they didn’t let us take it for a rip down the drag strip at the Chrysler Proving Grounds. These guys are as smart as they look!

Journalist in tow, SRT Engineer Jim Wilder takes the Demon for a run around Chelsea. Wilder has the dubious honor of being the test pilot during the Demon’s development and he made all the quarter-mile passes in this beast.

Want the look of a Scat Pack or Hellcat Charger without paying for high insurance rates and premium unleaded? The 2018 Charger SXT Plus, with the Super Track Pak option, gets a performance hood, performance front and rear fascias, and other drivetrain/chassis bits to make this 3.6L V6 machine more fun to drive while saving some coin. They did let us drive this one!

The 2018 Durango SRT with its 392 Hemi can run 0-60 in 4.4 seconds; trip the quarter-mile beams in the high 12s, has three-row seating, and can tow 8,700 lbs. The starting MSRP is $62,995, and comes in $3,900 less than the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT.

Dodge has given the 2018 Durango R/T a frontend refresh by raiding the Durango SRT’s parts bin. The functional SRT hood with center air inlet and side heat extractors along with new front fascia and lower valance give the R/T more street attitude.

You asked for it and the SRT folks delivered. The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Trackhawk packs the Hellcat’s 707-horsepower beating heart. The engineers only had to give up 5 lb-ft of torque for the AWD driveline configuration. This thing will run solid mid 11-second e.t.’s all day.

The current Ram truck platform is getting old but the brand still finds way to keep the models fresh. The Ram Sport Appearance package adds a body-color Ram grille, halogen projector headlamps, and optional black wheels.

Ram Rebel returns for 2018 wearing a new color called Blue Streak. It still packs a 395-horsepower 5.7L Hemi and now you can dress up the inside with a leather interior option.

Now you can valet at posh restaurants and hotels in this 2018 Ram Limited Tungsten. Available in 1500, 2500, and 3500 models, the Limited Tungsten package takes luxury to a new level with special exterior trim and select body color features. Inside, the seating surfaces are bathed in premium leather. Leave your work boots on the running boards before climbing in!
