My List of Fave Underrated Vocaloid Songs
I’m going to be putting titles, links, and general why I like the song in the list below!
Most of these songs are ones that are a bit older but don’t really appear in the Vocaloid classics category. They might be well known but never really remembered. Of course, them being underrated is my opinion.
Oof this is a couple weeks old...I meant to add more songs but I think I’ll just post it as it is!
Mermaid feat. GUMI produced by monaca:factory/10日P (the official video uploaded by the producer has been taken down)
I’ve always loved the melody and pv for this song. I’ve also always just loved mermaids so that also plays into why I like this song.
I also really like Rosetta from the same producer
I think the beginning and the instrumental break are my favorite parts. I also really enjoy the chorus though.
fyi gumi is my fave so most of this is list is gumi...
[WARNING: The next video contains imagery of blood and knives, as well as lyrics that may be disturbing]
ササメク (Sasameku) feat. Hatsune Miku produced by 椎名もた
I’ve listened to this song for years but I never realized it was by powapowa-p ( may he rest in peace :( )
Anyways, I always love the way he tunes Miku and the fast pace of the song
I also really enjoy the repetition of the chorus
334人の敵 (The Enemy of 334 People) feat. GUMI extend whisper produced by Konata-P (the official producer has deleted her youtube channel)
Sometimes I’ll wonder what song is stuck in my head and then I’ll realize it’s this lol
Really great song; one of my favorite Gumi songs. I love the chorus
The producer has deleted all of her vocaloid work online, which makes me really sad ( I read somewhere that she had been harassed online by trolls ? But I can’t confirm. )
カガリビト (Whipstitching Person) feat. Hatsune Miku Append produced by millstones
This song got really popular in the utaite community and on nico nico douga but I don’t think it got much traction outside of that (btw as much as i love the original, there are some great human covers of this song out there)
This is also a song that gets stuck in my head frequently (There was one time I was so worried I’d never find it again even though I remembered the PV art so clearly ! I’m glad I was able to find it again)
Very steampunk and fantasy driven; I think it’s really fun to listen to.
否世界ハーモナイゼ (Non-World Harmonize) feat. Kagamine Rin produced by sasakure.UK
Maybe you’re like, oh ? Why is there a sasakure.UK song here ? They’re always popular. Well, yes, they are, but you could say the same for powapowa-p
I’ll admit, most of the songs I like for the both Kagamine Rin and Len tend to be the more popular ones, so I had to go deep into my memory to find a song that wasn’t as popular
I think the Trash Heap series as a whole by sasakure.UK is really good, but this song really stood out to me when I first listened to it
The chorus ?? Just so good
死んでしまったのだろうか (I Think I Just Died) feat. flower produced by Guiano
Wow, a newer song? And by flower? It’s true
I was thinking about older songs but, this also came to mind so I just thought I’d stick it in my list
It’s an upbeat depression jam, filled with existentialism
Thanks for reading! Maybe some day I’ll do a part 2!
#vocaloid#song list#song recs#underrated vocaloid songs#j talks#watch as i get more and more descriptive with random thoughts for each song
