I've been planning to do this today since last night. I've lately been thinking about Rooted and all the previews/sneek peaks we've gotten so far, and with the descriptions, a possible outcome has come into my mind I need to get it off my chest.

From what I've seen, I think the episode will take place the next day, where the pack teaches Mushroom and Dynamite how to hunt "real animals" or prepare them to fight the "abominations" the Packmother wanted them to rid of their territory. After, they'll go out to find Astra. (Razor.) Which I hope leads into a cool crossover between Mushroom and Dynamite and Gum and Razor, and perhaps even Fuzzball and Sharps. (Well, if any of these characters are alive by then.) However, back to the training, while doing, something seems to be affecting Mushroom...and I think something bad will happen to her...or...something bad is happening to her. From perhaps the parasite she ate having affects on her body, even if she's saved by her Mycelium, the coldwave, or again with the Mycelium, a prominent theory I've been thinking about, the picture of her flinching as an image of "frozen(?)" fungi is near her, is a representation of her Mycelium, and perhaps it trying to fight off the parasite, or being (a theory I'm somewhat more believing in, although never too sure and don't want to jump to conclusions) affected by the coldwave. This is where those lines about "one surviving" start to mean something. It's revealed that only one of them may be able to survive in the end, and judging by the "fangs" and "claws" in the sentence, it might be Dynamite. And Dynamite, upon seeing his friend who he ONLY RECENTLY GOT BACK, AFTER WATCHING HER DIE AND RE-GROW FROM A CHILD TO A TEEN AGAIN, suffer again, and learning that she might die again this time...and FOR GOOD, he's not taking it well. And with the "fangs" and "claws" said, this also leads to the Pack teaching him to fully tap into his primal instincts, and hunt right. And when the time comes to fight the "abominations" for the Pack, the things that KILLED Mushroom in the first place and led to the traumatizing events, Dynamite falls into a desperation (and before after learning Mushroom might die) to keep her alive, and to prevent something like Hide and Seek and Spore happening again. Mushroom's words in Wolves Without Teeth ("Dynamite...you mean more than anything in the world to me right now. Please stay in it...") start to make relapse here.

Despite what they've learned, when it comes, no matter what he and Mushroom are able to do thanks to the Pack, the sight and thought of seeing Mushroom die again, or seeing her die for real, memories of her dying, one of them surviving, it all overlaps...and Dynamite ends up taking a risk...

...A risk that severely strikes him...

...Lasting consequences...

...And a possibly fatal outcome...

...All as the Mantis stares in shock and disbelief, as tears start to swell...

Welp, thanks for listening to my TED Talk! I need to actually start continuing reading Objectified so I can justify theorizing about future episodes and using evidence from episodes that I haven't even come to fully reading yet! Which is what I'm doing next week! (Ep. 3, Mushroom's and Dynamite's debut 😉)

If you ship fossil with anyone in a both-sided manner, don’t interact with my page please. I don’t mind if you talk to me directly, but don’t comment or reply with anything about fossil ships. Exceptions for this are one-sided ships, which I do personally like (ie. one-sided rockpin, strictly on pushpin’s side), as long as they DONT have fossil reflecting the feelings . Queerplatonic relationships are also okay, I don’t mind those either.

(*edit to clarify above* I mean I like the one sided ships as in a representation way. It shows the struggles of the people on both sides of the relationship, which I honestly do like as a concept. Do I think that it’s an excuse to ship an aroace character with someone, or vise versa? No! I just think it’s good rep.)

This also goes for comet, too. While I do think comet has the possibility to feel that way, I don’t agree with anyone who says “[insert character, most commonly wagyu] can fix her.” I understand slow-burn, and really like it, but I don’t stand for sudden switch up odor comet. It won’t happen, and never will.

while I am pretty much neutral on every ship that isn’t illegal, I do not like when people mischaracterize aro/ace characters (looking at you, hazbin hotel fandom).

everything in the story is basically the same except for microphone and taco, who still have a slight dislike of eachother as they team up to recover soap (fuzzball) and pickle (sharps, in this au taco and pickle arent together, yet when pickle died taco still had a feeling to recover him??)

anyways so basically

lightbulb - dynamite

dragonscale - (ghost) bow (her group is baseball, knife, yinyang [seperated])

fuzzball is soap,, gin is probably trophy? ? ghost (dragonscale’s wife) is marshmallow

might have to revamp the whole storyline of objectified a bit for this to work but whatever!!!!!

These are all true. Im half convinced people only liked the survival group bc omg queer characters(in a show full of them) or theyre cute. I dont know why the objectified fandom seems like they're only enjoying the cute moments when its a HORROR webcomic. Not to mention the amount of brainless takes i see on tiktok. Its tiktok, duh, but i had to explain to someone that fuzzball is stuck in razors shell and thats why shes bald in flashbacks. Oh my god sometimes this community makes me want to rip my own hair out.

Also yuh i wish there was more official content but it seems like chester is too busy juggling the longer pages we have now and Reach of Ice to drop anything else

Wagyu is a bad person with too much respect for himself and not enough for others

Citrus seems so charming because he is a psychopath. (His anxiety, paranoia, outbursts, and extreme decision-making serve my point)

I hated wagyus old gang. I enjoyed knowing there were no survivors.

Fossil is incredibly immature, especially for her age. Serious notes of autism, but she still needs to learn how to communicate.

Mushroom and Dynamite had more options than canniblism, they were just too afraid to use them.

Mushroom was right to be angry about the kiss, but again, communication. Please. Even from an outside perspective I was confused about what she wanted with Dynamite.

Brandy is a better person than Minty, but a worse parent.

Spool is stupidly shallow, he needs a character workshop or 3. No backstory, no job, and no real notable character traits other than being a bit snarky. It's hard to believe he's from the same series as all these other dynamic complex multi-faceted characters. He's incredibly out of place. It's a bit early to tell, but even still.

Theres a signifigant lack of official charts. Give me stat hexagons, give me bars, give me graphs. I want to know the barometric pressure at the beggining and end of every chapter. Specific information is easier to think and talk about than just the lists and mild suggestions we have now. (Again, early to tell.)

The merch out right now is great and I've bought lots, but I wish it was more symbols and less characters. And there are soooo many good symbols too use. Just scroll through the website and make every icon a keychain I beg.

I'm sick of all the side character stuff. Post about somebody who has lines. I've seen three seperate character pages for the streetlamp guy. Pre-pale horse wagyu gang content was really annoying. Nobody could decide on their personalities because their personalities were never even written in.

I laughed at freezer-burn wagyu. The scene was hilarious. I do not understand how people found it scary.
