i thought of childhood friend (im sorry i cant help it) bodyguard katsuki being hopelessly devoted to big boss' daughter reader.

let's say the environment he grew up in wasn't good at all. he lived in a horrible neighborhood that had a survival of the fittest mentality. he had to rob n steal and fight to survive. and them maybe he got recruited by some crime syndicate who saw his potential from a young age.

he feels indebted to them cus they got him out the streets, so he decides to devote his entire life to this syndicate and his boss, who just so happens to have a child : you.

you're the same age as him, maybe a year younger. his first thought is that you're a pushover. you hide behind your father the whole time he's introducing you to him and you barely even look at him, but he's been told he has a bit of a stink eye because he's just sorta used to glaring at people.

as your father keeps introducing you both your eyes widen at him saying katsuki will become your new best friend. yours out of joy cus you've always been sheltered and you've never really had friends your age before, and katsuki's out of shock. he thought he was here to kick people's asses, not babysit some random girl !

when your father pulls katsuki aside later that day he explains that since he's a very dangerous man other dangerous people will try to endanger not only him but his family and since he's strong he'd like him to watch over you. katsuki doesn't like it, but your dad did save him from his life on the street, so he can play nice for now.

he's never had friends either, so he doesn't know how to play like other kids do, and definetly not like you do.

you have him follow you around calling him your knight, you stick stupid clips in his hair and get all pouty when he won't let you put that pastey makeup shit on his face. you have him kiss your ouchies away when you trip over your own shadow and you whine and whine until he let's you jump on his back to give you a piggy back ride.

though, the more he spends time with you, the more there are fun moments. he hates to admit it but it's fun to be a kid with you. you play games that he likes to play and you share your cookies with him and he carries you around and plays dolls with you in exchange. he kisses your ouchies away and you put a cool bandage over his cheek when he's done training for the day and press a big get better kiss on it. you tell him it's to energize him and he huffs and puffs about it but he always looks forward to his kiss after training.

you've complained to him about how you can't spend much time with your dad since he's always out working, you don't have friends because everyone is a threat and you're always being surveyed and watched from a distance and you cry and say you hate it. you tell him that he's your fifth body guard and that he's your favorite one by far. you smile at him and the apples of his cheeks burn, he tries but can't supress the proud smile that grows on his face "of course i am, i'm the best !"

he's been your favorite and last body guard since that day because katsuki has made it his life's mission to devote himself to his clan, his boss and most of all, you.

♡ Peko didn't let her guard down around many people, and she especially didn’t during Hope’s Peak. She spent all of her time with Fuyuhiko, but then you came along and devoted so much time for her, made an effort for her, and then extended that effort to him.

♡ Neither of them understood it, but Fuyuhiko especially didn’t. Shouldn’t you have been intimidated? Shouldn’t you have been hesitant? Surely, his aggression should have put you off?

♡ For a little while, it seemed to have done so, but even then you still kept showing grace and love and everything friendly.

♡ His heart managed to warm up to you over the years, gradually making him appreciate your presence more and more.

♡ Once he makes the realisation, he’s pretty easily accepting of it.

♡ He just doesn’t know what to do next.

♡ He knows he’s got to say it sometime, he’s bound to, but he just doesn’t know when would be appropriate; or if it’s even a good idea. Did he really, genuinely, want to rope you into his lifestyle?

♡ He knew you knew what his life was like, you always had, but something about it becoming something unavoidable…frightened him.

♡ Fuyuhiko definitely finds it difficult to revert back to his usual behaviours with you now that he’s aware of his feelings for you.

♡ He finds it very hard to keep his blood pressure under control around you. Give him any frequent form of attention, any form of praise, any genuine interest in him as individual, even just look at him, and soon enough he’ll feel his face warming up.

♡ Eye contact becomes very difficult for him to maintain. While Fuyuhiko’s usually able to maintain eye contact no matter the circumstance, something about looking at you now seems almost impossible. He tries, he really does, because truthfully you’re so perfect he wants to keep looking, but he can’t.

♡ He can literally feel his eyes wobble as he begins to lose focus and, disguised with a nonchalantly stubborn huff, turns away.

♡ He doesn’t want to let his guard down, he doesn’t want to look stupid.

♡ Definitely gets goosebumps, and the shivers.

♡ His whole body tenses up whenever he sees you, a sudden heaviness latching onto his chest.

♡ His whole brain gets fuzzy and, although you’d never know, he’s actively fighting for his dignity the more and more he talks to you. He’s trying so hard not to stutter, so hard not to choke on his words, so hard not to look like an idiot, so hard not to be seen as weak.

♡ So hard not to give himself away…

♡ Probably becomes more protective of you than he was before. He’s not like obsessive with it, that would be silly, but he just feels this strong calling to ensure you’re safe and that you know he’s always going to be in your life.

♡ If he knew another guy was taking interest in you, he has an interesting way of handling his emotions surrounding it.

♡ He’d get internally jealous for a moment, a little angry, before then letting it go and trying to keep his cool. He’d probably get disappointed by it in his own time, realising that there was no guarantee you’d ever even return his feelings.

♡ If he ever thought you were taking interest in someone else, he’d be really mature about it and very chill, but inside he’d be devastated.

♡ Absolutely paces around his room trying to figure out what is going on with him.

♡ Eventually, he’ll tell her, and it’s an incredibly hard thing for him to do, even if he trusts her so.

♡ I feel like Peko would be really good at helping to reassure and calm him about the whole situation.

♡ I feel like Fuyuhiko would get dizzy spells as a result of his feelings. He’s letting himself spiral internally rather than physically cope with it, so his body is very very very confused.

♡ He’s not used to feeling as vulnerable as he is with you, and it isn’t even your fault.

♡ You’re just so special to him, he would do anything to see you smile, even if he wouldn’t admit it.

♡ Has definitely Googled advice on how to confess, but would immediately delete his search history the minute he was done gathering information.

He should’ve been more aware about Peko and how she would react, he knew Peko would never hurt you, and he was lucky enough to make it in time to the small house

Mahiru was waiting outside for you as you went in to grab a water bottle from the small fridge, Peko thought it would be Mahiru who went in first but was able to stop just in time when Fuyuhiko’s ran all the way to the house and pull you towards him so Peko would miss

Peko apologized and made it clear that she wasn’t going to kill you and had Fuyuhiko’s help clear it up as well

Seeing how it could’ve been you instead of Mahiru who died, and by accident form Peko of all people, made him even be more worried about your wellbeing and had you close to him at all times even if it was just you going to the bathroom

Gundham Tanaka

He never had you stray too far away from him ever, he would always say that he would protect you from all evil with the help of his dark devas

You were never seen apart from each other even from when you both woke up on the island, especially since you two were dating for a while and even before the island

It was just a coincidence he saved you, Hiyoko sucked up and went to ask you for help on tying her kimono and you told her that you remembered there was a large mirror over at the live house and you told her you would gladly carry it over to her cabin so she can keep it

The only reason you didn’t was because Gundham had reminded you about a small dinner you were supposed to have later that day with him, Sonia and Hajime

So Hiyoko had to go alone and when it turns out that her going there alone, like you were going to, was how she ended up getting killed, Gundham was shocked

He didn’t even want to think about what would’ve happened if you had went instead. He has since then pledged to go everywhere with you so you wouldn’t be alone and to calm his nerves

Hajime Hinata

Hes been on edge since he woke up on the island and even more worried when he saw you were unfortunately here as well on this hell island

Everything was going smoothly, there had been no murders so far and the little party they were having had been going well as everyone was having a great time talking and eating

You on the other hand, had been worried especially since you thought it was such a coincidence that only one pick had gone missing but Byakuya’s and Hajime brushed it off and Hajime comforted you with saying that nobody will kill someone in broad daylight and it probably just went missing

You weren’t believing it and when the lights went out, you noticed a small liquid neon dots that were leading under a table and crouched down to lift up the cover when Hajime who was next to you before the lights went out, accidentally tripped and you had both fallen on top of each other

And it was thanks to him tripping over you that you hadn’t died and crawled under the table

He’s since then taken this island more serious especially since you’re hear with him

Pain In His Eyes

Note: This is my first time writing about this sort of thing. I hope it hasn't come across as insensitive or something like that.

Fuyuhiko

Fuyuhiko had sat beside you on your bed as he traced the scars on your arm with the tip of his finger. Neither of you had spoken a word to each other. It was a comfortable silence almost as if nothing needed to be said.

You had been with Fuyuhiko for some time now and you knew he was with people particularly you especially you. Fuyuhiko cared for you above all else you mean so much to him and he wants nothing more than to see you happy and safe. So to know you were dealing with pain and this how you were dealing with it.

It saddened and hurt him but that sadness and pain was nothing compared to what you must have been going through. He wasn't the best with his words so he decided to say nothing for now. Instead, he cuddled up to let you know he was there for you.

(Look at you cuddling with one of the most feared men in Japan. What would his subordinates think if they saw him like this?) You cuddled him resting your head on his neck letting out tears you didn't know you were holding back. He soothed you wrapping his arms around you to bring you closer.

You wondered if you should say anything but you decided against it. You were just glad to have Fuyuhiko here with you glad that someone finally knew. You just stayed in his arms as you continued to cry knowing that with him you would be safe.

Nagito

From his appearance, people might see Nagito as very aloof. However, that couldn't be further from the truth as he was a very observant person. For example his S/O there are things he would pick up on about you that others wouldn't.

So even if you were lying to him he wouldn't push it and would wait until you were comfortable to talk with him. Nagito cares about you and is very considerate of your feelings. He would know what and what not to do and you would let him if he overstepped any boundaries.

One of your favorite things is simply being with Nagito knowing that he's right there with you. Whether that be in the comfort of your own home or at the park with him. You always enjoyed going to the park with him having a picnic together or watching the clouds.

Being with you feel at ease and that you can forget the troubles of everyday life. If Nagito is good at topics for conversation but if you didn't pursue them he wouldn't bring them up again after all he isn't a person who pries. Nagito loves hearing your voice even if you're rambling he doesn't care he just loves to hear the sound of your voice.

Hopes and dreams Nagito has heard it all from you and he's happy that you've shared them with him. But as for now, you were lying on the grass looking at the clouds as you spoke to Nagito. Your smile he loved was something so precious to him and he'd do whatever he could to protect you and your smile.

Kazuichi

Kazuichi felt as if something had been different about you as of late. It was summer and you had been wearing bagger clothing for such warm weather. Of course, Kazuichi had known you for a while after all you were his S/O so he knew how you liked to dress yourself.

It's not only your clothing that has changed but your behavior around him and other people. You had become more closed off and quiet. Kazuichi was worried about you and he had asked you if everything was okay but you brushed him off.

He could only watch as you changed and not for the better. Kazuichi just knew something was wrong and that you were in pain. It was hurting him to see you suddenly change like this and not knowing the reason why.

That was until one day Kazuichi walked into your room without knocking and caught you self-harming. For a moment none of you spoke a word to each other as you just stared. "Y-Y/N" Kazuichi spoke in pure shock as if he couldn't believe what he was saying.

The look in his it's something you wished to have never seen from him. After a while, he approached you on the bed hugging you. "Don't worry I'm here for you my princess/prince."

Leon

Leon was worried about you he noticed a change in your behavior as of late. You had become more closed off recently and stopped showing up to classes. He had noticed that your clothing had also changed with you wearing longer shirt sleeves.

He was worried and he wasn't sure what to do or how to approach you about his concerns. So Leon decided to ask some of your friends about you and how you have been recently. He had asked them for help as he and your friends were all very worried.

So for the next while, both Leon and your friends had begun to pay closer attention to you. While not asking what was bothering you directly. You were now in your bedroom and you were sure you were alone now to start doing that again.

However, before you, Leon grabbed the knife out of your hand. "Y/N what are you doing?" Leon asked you in shock as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing. "Why would you do that Y/N?"

Leon put the knife aside and sat on the bed next to you. "B-because I..." You could barely get the words out as tears fell from your eyes. Leon pulled you into a tight hug as you rested your head on his neck.

"I love you Y/N please whatever is bothering talk to me. I love you and I'd never judge you. You shouldn't have to resort to this I'm here for you okay? Please remember that forever and always."

It could get aggressive at times if she was in a hyper mood but she really enjoys just some wholesome times. Cuddling is a must for her, especially after big meals. Just laying down and falling into a food coma together is pure bliss

Byakuya Twogami - Words of Affirmation

When you got together Twogami kept their sort of Byakuya impression and tried to be aloof, but it was clear that wasn't their real personality. They constantly compliment you and openly shows their affection. At least when they are in a disguise. When you eventually managed to make them take down the facade, they really softened more and you got to see them for who they are. Imposter is soft spoken and much more bashful than you expected. Instead of being confident, when they compliment you like this, they have a much harder time getting the words out. Imposter doesn't see themself as someone with any identity, so seeing how unique you are gives them inspiration and admiration for you. It may be hard for them to say, but you will definitely hear it

Chiaki Nanami - Quality Time

Chiaki is a simple girl, she likes to take life as it comes and just kinda go with the flow. And she appreciates a partner that can do the same. She doesn't really like going on dates, they just aren't her scene. She'd honestly rather stay home eating snacks and playing video games with you. To be honest, Chiaki just likes being with you in general. It doesn't have to be a big deal, often you guys will just cuddle and relax or play games together. Even if you don't feel like talking Chiaki is happy to just be with you in comfortable silence. Since she tends to be sleepy throughout the day, she often will end up falling asleep at your place. If you decide to lay down with her, when she wakes up and notices you, she'll smile lovingly and give you a quick cheek kiss (before falling right back asleep)

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu - Quality Time

Being a literal mob boss doesn't give you much personal time. Him and Peko are often super busy throughout the day, with Fuyuhiko getting frustrated an apologizing everytime, despite your insistance that it's okay. The days he does have off he likes to spend with you. He isn't really used to being vulnerable and affectionate, so whenever you try to be romantic he will initially push back. Understand it isn't that he doesn't like you, it's just unusual to him, he'll eventually accept the affection and reciprocate. When he is comfortable enough he likes to take you to all kinds of places for date nights. He doesn't care how dumb it is or how he has to make it happen, you want to go to that pickle museum? You weren't as useless or untrustworthy as she thought. Hiyoko still lowkey bullies and teases you, but it's turned more playful and lighthearted. And she's also gotten more physically affectionate, openly clinging to you and leading you by the hand all over the place. Ibuki Mioda - Physical Touch

BRUH, this is I-BU-KI MI-O-DA! She is all OVER you 24/7! Pretty much every time she sees you she tackles you with a hug. She adores hugging you and holding hands and jumping into your arms etc etc etc. Sometimes you'll have to use a crowbar to pry her off of you. And don't get me started on the kisses. Ibuki is a kiss machine and loves to just pepper your face with kisses. You're just so damn cute, she can't help herself! It doesn't matter where you are, you gonna get smooched. Funnily enough, when you reciprocate she gets kinda bashful somehow. Ibuki tends to blush hard and stammer, giggling like crazy. Just expect a lot of affection in this relationship

Kazuichi Souda - Words of Affirmation

You saw how he was with Sonia. When he met and fell in love with you he fell HARD. And the fact that you actually gave him the time of day and even liked him back??? He is gonna worship the ground you stand on. Kazuichi adores everything about you and lets you know it everyday. How cute you are, how funny you are, how smart you are, in his eyes you are near perfect. Even when you get into arguments he doesn't stay mad long and tends to apologize first. The moment you met, your first date, for your one year anniversary she even made a collage of pictures taken on every date you've been on! We all know he loves some touchy touchy action. It don't matter what parts you got or your body type, he is IN 10000%. He makes it clear by constantly flirting with you and trying to initate any sort of sexual activites (it's fun to see him sulk when you turn him down). But strangely enough, Teruteru actually shows love by cooking for you. Yeah, your hot bod is a big bonus. But that smile on your face when you taste his food? Absolutely priceless. He loves to cook all your meals, and often uses his Mom's special recipes. When one day you asked him to teach you how to cook, his heart soared. He immedietly gave you an apron and pulled out a recipe book so you could choose one to try. Never worry if you make mistakes or completely fail, Teruteru doesn't mind! You gotta start somewhere, and as long as you use the ingredients you have and don't purposly waste them it's all good. But know that even though he doesn't get angry, he will mock you if you're a mess, and can be a little condescending. Just roll with it, he'll eventually humble himself and compliment your efforts

"come on don't be a wimp!" he jokes

he retracts his words when you tell him you're actually scared

so he takes it upon himself to go on ahead, holding his hand out behind him so you can take it

he tries to stay calm and collected while the two of you walk through the attraction

it's all good until, at the very end, a scare actor pops out from behind you two and fuyuhiko screams and cusses at the top of his lungs

you and fuyuhiko exit the haunted house and he insists he was definitely not scared. not at all.

kazuichi souda ♡

"you're scared , i'm scared , let's be scared together!" he has a rather positive attitude before going in, but that changes almost immediately

the animatronics scare him, the fake cobwebs disorient him, the scare actors almost gave him a heart attack

his constant clinging onto you caused you to feel less scared

he holds onto your arm and you pat his hand all the way through the haunted house

and by the end, you feel happy you went with him because it made it wayyy easier to navigate through the dark and narrow hallway

teruteru hanamura ♡

"if you can get through this whole thing without screaming , i'll give you a reward" now you do want to scream (jk sorry teruteru lovers)

he walks with them side by side, jumping everytime a scare actor appears in front of them

teruteru doesn't really mind the animatronics so much, but he knows the loud noises can scare them so he leads them through it a little faster

everytime you look especially scared, he'll ask a random question like: "do ghostface masks turn you on?" (trust me it can help to take your mind off of being scared 😭✋🏽)

the closer the exit gets, the faster he hurries to get out lol

"nawww don't be afraid! ibuki's here to be your guide" she holds their hand extra tight before quickly heading into the haunted house, dragging them behind her

she screams really loud but has fun with it. "that wasn't soo bad!" she says after letting out the most bloodcurdling scream you have ever heard

she does this thing where she screams but then it turns into singing

she sings because she's anxious too, but it's really funny to them so they go along with it

she's really content after the two of you exit the haunted house because of all that stress relief (aka screaming)

"see? there was nothing to be afraid of!" she exclaims

"sure, i'll go in with you. i go to these with hiyoko every halloween!" she walks in with you casually

"when did these animatronics get so gory!?" she comments on a bloodied skeleton animatronic laying in a corner

• he checks on you veryyy often. and he tries to be unobvious about it sometimes but 😭 he cares so much he can’t hide it
