Hi! My name is, Pokemeu. I was wondering if I could get your permission to use the translated script of Future Diary the 13th Diary Holder: Recoded. I'm trying to revive the translated project so hopefully it can be used on emulators and PSP-2000 models and higher.
Please let me know what you think!
Thank you for your time.
Pokemeu
Omg yes! (and I guess this goes without saying, but please add my credits for the script >_<)
I've tried to translate the rom multiple times, but I'm incompetent when it comes to coding. I think the furthest I got was accessing the hex code for the diary entries before my brain turned to mush... so that's why there was no rom hacking on my part and just the scripts lol. I have notes of my previous attempts as well as a bit of info about how the person who was originally working on the project went about it, so if you need help with anything please let me know. And if you get the project going, please update us if you can. This project is very near and dear to me, so I would love to see it finally completed 🥹

here's a good quality if you don't already have it <3
THANK YOU! This is easily the best-quality copy I've seen of this particular card.
Anyone wanting to see more of these tie-in cards that feature unique Mirai Nikki/Future Diarty artwork (mostly of Yuno, ofc) should check out @sunniedesi's detailed writeup over here and/or my older, less informative post showing/talking about the cards, which at least has since been edited to link to various updated scans/details at the bottom. (Looks like I'll be linking to this very post next.)

My precious blind baby did not deserve any of this... 😭
But damn, his ass is making me feel a certain way - if you know what I mean. 😏
@legendaryfacecoffee
Hey, saw that you were doing requests, could I possibly get that one CG of Yuno Gasai kicking Yomotsu Hirasaka in the balls?

Game Translation Q2 Update
Hey all, it's been a while since we gave an update. Some of you might not even know anything about this game.
1. What background knowledge of the series is necessary to fully enjoy this game?
Future Diary’s main series, either the anime or the manga
Hanako and the Terror of Allegory
Side note: None of us have completed this game in its entirety, so we’ll update this if there is anything else in the Future Diary universe you need to be aware of.
2. What is the game about?
Well, here’s what the back of the game’s case says:
Tumblr media
3. Is the game canon?
“The game’s story is completely original, taking place midway through the original series.”
I can’t reveal anything more without spoiling the game, but it all fits into the main series’ storyline.
Additionally, if you’re someone who wants to know how it has a tangible effect on the main series, there is a lot of substantial evidence of effects on the main series. Although, again, spoilers.
4. When will the game be completely translated?
2022. My goal is to get the first game translated by Q1 of 2022, but that all depends on my coding and translating abilities.
5. Wait, did you say “first game”? How many games are there?
Depending on your definition, 1-4. Although, that list of “4” games includes the pachislot and pachinko which are not part of this translation. The full list is as follows:
Future Diary - the 13th Diary Owner (2010)
Future Diary - the 13th Diary Owner RE:WRITE (2012)
Future Diary Pachinko (2016)
Future Diary Pachislot (2018)
This translation project will first be translating Future Diary - the 13th Diary Owner because it’s easier coding-wise.
6. What’s the difference between these two games?
Here’s a list of all the new content in Future Diary - the 13th Diary Owner RE:WRITE:
All chapters received extra content + a new chapter
Some scripts were revised (mostly changes that are near impossible to translate)
Voice Actors (the first game came out before the anime)
7. Okay, so just extra content, why won’t you translate the one’s with VA’s in it first?
It’s not that simple. The first game is much smaller, so it’s much easier to debug and test changes on. Additionally, with the second game, I have to code in subtitles.
(From here on out, when I say the game, I am only talking about the first game.)
8. How is the translation going?
Really good. Only one small problem.
Good Parts:
The game holds most of its data in a file with a unique file extension. I'll skip most of the nerdy stuff and say I finished writing the program to extract all of it’s contents.
After writing my program (somewhat) backwards, and changing the code in the game, I can change certain files and see those changes in the game relatively quickly.
There is another unique file extension inside of the game that contains images (which need to be translated). I’ve reverse engineered most of the file. I’d like to show some images, but we’re still working on the main menu.
The fonts are somewhat supportive and the second game has a much better font for English characters.
Our one small problem: In the game, the text is held in yet another unique file extension. I understand how it all works, but it’ll take some time to reverse engineer it.
9. So if it’s going so well, can we have an alpha version?
Soon. Before the end of the month we should have a portion of the game available to play.
Sincerely, The New Future Diary Alliance
Desi - Translator JackPyez - Image Editor Sermeno14 - Reverse Engineer and TLC
If you have any other questions, I’ll do my best to answer any and all of them.
TL;DR: Alpha translation - end of this month. Full translation - 2022.

PUBLICATION:EVOLVEMENT OF IDEAS- our group process summarised.
GROUP: Charlie, Stephanie, Elysia and Annabel.
We began our publication development with brainstorming ideas. This process involved general discussion via our group facebook message, with everyone contributing evenly. The convenience of this helped shape our ideas in a more complex manner. ideas were thrown around- but the main jist of the initial discussion was the varied perspectives we all held on ‘nowness’.
An idea of creating an experiment to kick start our publication arose. We assigned one another with the task of producing our visual perspective of ‘Nowness” within a basic clock outline that would show the physical effect of time. The only criteria we gave one another was to stay inside of the format of the clock face & to use the layout to help create a piece that illustrated a certain ‘now’ in history.
Individually we went away and produced pieces inside of the clock framework. This was a good start, which helped us understand the way we comprehend differently and to get a grip of our individual styles.
Annabels experiment:
Tumblr media
This piece consists of a varied approach to the ideal female figure relevant to different time periods in history. This approach reveals the gradual progression of beauty within history. Specifically these figures account for the popular culture prevalent amongst western standards of beauty within the past century. Each figure has been illustrated as a symbol of a time period- taking the place of the hour markings on a traditional clock formation- representing time distinctly.
Elysias experiment:
Tumblr media
For my first experiment, I wanted to explore the notion of stratigraphy and its relation to recording sequential era's within history. I had designed a basic clock layout for everyone in the group to use for this experiment, so once I had create a scan of this, I continued on with filling the clock outline in with stratigraphic layers of patterns and colours to demonstrate this concept exploration.
Our initial plans for this assessment included exploring different aspects of evolution in the human and natural world, e.g. cultural standards of beauty, forms of documentation and information distribution, and the evolution of the natural world. My focus was initially about the evolution of the natural world, which can be seen in my stratigraphic experiment. I was also intending on creating an illustrative spread that showed artefacts and objects throughout history. Upon the narrowing down of this concept, we decided to scrap these ideas as they didn't seem to be completely cohesive with one another, so we then focused on recording our everyday perspectives. This was based off the flat lay illustration that is part of our profile page that I had created.
Stephs experiment:
Tumblr media
In the first experiment, I wanted to explore the definition of nowness through a text-based medium. Everyone has their own definition of nowness; some believe that the future is illusional and life is comprised of numerous ‘now’s’; some say that now only exists because of the past and future. No matter which concept you believe in, we must agree that we cannot always be present at this ‘now’ or current moment. Nowness is a state of mind, as one can only experience ‘now’ if they are both mentally and physically present at that moment. In order to describe the everyday struggle of how we cope with nowness, I wrote a piece on how I feel pressured by trying to live in the moment and how, although nowness seems to be a daily life experience, it is actually quite hard to achieve .
Nowness is how we are fully submerged into every single second in our daily life. It does not apply exclusively to happy moments, but all kinds of emotions that you experience. If you are feeling something about what is happening at that moment, you are living in the ‘now’.
From our experiments and discussions, we decided that, in order to illustrate the concept of nowness and living in the moment, we focused on documenting our everyday life to show our perspectives.
Charlies experiment:
Tumblr media
For this experiment I initially wanted to explore the concept of “nowness” throughout time through the scope of documentation. I started to research how people have documented their lives throughout history and I found that diary entries provide an investigation into an individual’s “now”, their present life and their experience, so for this experiment I overlayed various diary entries from throughout history from prominent figures such as Josef Goebbles, Ernest Hemmingway and Virginia Woolf, allowing a view into their perspective and their experience of the “now”. I also started to research methods of documentation, and the ways people would document their lives throughout history. The plan being to show a progression through history of the development of documentary tools such as; cave painting; clay tablets; papyrus; pen and ink; typewriters and the printing press, and then onto the digital age with text messaging and photography.
But we decided to proceed with a more cohesive overview of nowness by portraying our own daily perspectives through the objects we use or the places we go. I decided to photograph in a flat lay style all the objects I use throughout a day, splitting it up into the time periods of morning, midday and afternoon.
Visual planning and Design generation:
To follow along with the clock face visual- we researched digital design layouts to help begin with the general foundation of our publication. These are images that we shared in our group chat.
Inspiration images for our design and publication layout can be seen within this post.
13th of October, Group meet up:
We organised a meet up to enable us to solidify ideas face to face. This ignited a progression in our ideas for the publication. the idea of 3 themes of nowness was proposed. From this, we continued to allocate a theme to a spread within the publication.
We specifically decided to look at different perspectives of nowness throughout history. The themes we decided on were:
1.The perspective of beauty in relation to nowness
2.Progression of nature in relation to nowness
3.Documentation and means of communication in relation to nowness
We also discussed possible titles for our publication. These titles help with tying in the concept of Nowness with how we’re looking at perspectives of nowness throughout history.
“Nowness: perspectives within/of time”
“Nowness: a perspective of time”
Note taking and brainstorming throughout our class time lead to us deciding on reducing our workload. Three themes within one publication was TOO MUCH.
Time for plan B:
Feedback helped us in progressing to this point. We decided on really narrowing down with our ideas.
We discussed ideas of nowness in relation to the everyday and habitual. The idea of daily documentation came about, and the trend of ‘whats in my bag’, monthly favourite videos, flat lays and ‘monthly must haves’. Monthly favourites can be in relation to Youtube and technology ( the way these favourites are documented) ‘Favourites’ being objects people own- makeup, clothing, skincare, books, food etc. Monthly favourites are a way of documenting important or significant/interesting/essential items used by individuals in their everyday lives, these favourites are constantly evolving as we are exposed to new things, mirroring the notion of Nowness being every changing.
(hyperlinks will lead you to references)
We all had a fascination with this and wanted to experiment with the idea more in relation to nowness as apart of the every day. Objects in this sense can be symbolic of particular stages of time, and have often owners have associated emotional connections with their every day items. This material based scope of an individuals life, interests and essentials reflects the fact that each perspective of daily life is individualistic and influenced by a persons characteristics, career, schooling, interests, socioeconomic status etc.
This can be shown through our varied approaches to this task- with our contributions to the publication ranging from a combination of creative techniques; realistic, illustrative, photographic and text based. This range shows how we translate what we see and communicates our individual understanding of the world around us.

What does it take to lead business development at an ambitious global AV company?
lang: en_US
The (not so secret) diary of Jill Phillips…
Electric String’s new Director of Business Development is a very busy woman. Since joining the global AV design and installation experts less than a month ago, Jill Phillips’ role in supporting new business development opportunities, extending existing partnerships, and contributing to the company’s growth strategy has seen her crossing borders worldwide to meet customers and suppliers and investigate exciting new technologies. But exactly what has she been up to, and who did she see along the way? We bring you a sneak peek of Jill’s diary, so you can see exactly what it takes to drive business at a leading audio-visual company.
Event? Monaco Yacht Show
When? 27th-30th September
Where? Port Hercules (and beyond!), Monte Carlo
Even before her appointment was officially announced, Jill accompanied Managing Director James Ward and Commercial Director Rob Sullivan to MYS2017. During four days of intensive meetings and networking events (with some down time of course in La Rascasse & Stars ‘n’ Bars to name a few) she met clients, shipyards & partners to discuss current and future projects.
But Jill didn’t just restrict herself to the hustle and bustle of the main show areas… indeed, she witnessed the unveiling of several exclusive launches. After all, who wants to let a little thing like not actually having started a job yet get in the way of discovering the latest technological advances? Jill said: “My main role was to get the Electric String name out there. Changing people’s perception. However, as a team we witnessed some great tech…. Crestron always have a great stand. That and Omniyon’s Yacht Cloud 4K movie system were our highlights at MYS.”
And what were the main things clients were looking for? “It might sound like a cliché, but other than an interest in seeing the latest tech, when it comes down to it everyone wants the same thing: a reliable system at a decent price,”  she explained.
Event? Pinmar Charity Golf Tournament
When? 19th-21st October
Where? Son Gual Golf Course, Mallorca
Less than a month later Jill was jetting off again, this time to take part in the Pinmar Charity Golf Tournament! A highlight of the superyacht industry’s social calendar every year, Pinmar Golf 2017 saw 320 amateur golfers competing in 80 teams to raise money for a variety of causes, joined by 1999 British Open Champion Paul Lawrie & Sky Sports News own Kirsty Gallacher.
On joining the company, it was thought that Jill would use her strong network of contacts and vast experience in both the audio-visual and marine industries to help take Electric String to the next level of success. Of course, there is no better place to build on contacts than such a must-attend industry event and a Golf one at that.
Jill said: “I knew we wouldn’t win (that’s next year) – I’m no Tiger Woods – but it’s all about the taking part! I was delighted to be able to represent Electric String , and to help raise lots of money for all the brilliant charities.”  She was also there to meet with people from all different sections of the industry, including their team partners Superyacht Supplies and CST Luxury. Jill & the team at Electric String donated a Meridian Audio System comprising of DSP3200 Loudspeakers and Audio Core 200 pre-amplifier to the Pinmar Raffle.
Event? Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
When? 1st – 5th November
Where? Fort Lauderdale, Florida
After just enough time to re-acclimatise to the cold English weather, Jill set out to Florida to attend the 58th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). There to see more clients, suppliers and network, she also managed to visit the exhibits of a range of yacht builders and designers, with the aim of expanding the company’s AV knowledge and staying one step ahead of the game.
“Here I was really just introducing Electric String to the US market, as many of the Americans were not aware of us. This was a really good show as I found the Americans to be very open – I even bumped into a few owners just by chance and managed to discuss AV needs with them,”  said Jill.
Event? The Superyacht Forum (& METS)
When? 13th-16th November
Where? Amsterdam
On the 13th November (the day before she is due to represent the company at METS!), Jill and James Ward headed off to Amsterdam to join industry leaders and influencers at this year’s Superyacht Forum.
Jill was there to meet with partners, listen to talks and debates, and meet with potential clients. This year’s event focused on design development and build of superyachts, alongside sales, marketing and managing of operations and service of superyachts and their owners, ultimately looking at ways in which the industry can work towards a strong, sustainable future.
Jill said: “What I’m most looking forward to is introducing Electric String as a big household name in that arena. Despite being around for seven years now, we didn’t used to be seen as a true alternative to the other established Marine AV Integrators, but finally I think the market is starting to realise that we are real competition and we are here to stay.”
Where will she go next in the hunt for new business and technology?  “After this week my time will still be made up of a lot of travelling, with a quick trip to the Caribbean, London and trips over to Europe in the run up to Christmas. Then in January it’ll start all over again! But I love it, and it’s great that we are so busy,” she said.
Clearly, leading business development for such an aspiring young tech company takes a lot of stamina. But Jill has no plans to slow down. “I’m thrilled to have joined such an exciting, young company that is not frightened to take on new challenges. We’ve got exciting plans for the next five years and I’m already enjoying working closely with the team and travelling the world to ensure we put Electric String firmly on everyone’s radar. ” Proving once and for all one clear benefit of working at Electric String: the air miles.
Want to meet up with Jill to discuss a new build or refit project? Despite the jet-setting, Jill always makes time to meet with new people.

Ten Reasons that The United States's Public Schools Are Like United States's Prisons.
Youth Education is actually a bimonthly award gaining diary through Organization for Youth Education and learning International showcases reliable articles about ingenious classroom methods, important concerns influencing learning, families as well as children; little one growth and also development theory; hands-on classroom tasks; customer reviews from brand new youngsters's books, video clips, software and specialist resources. That is actually alluring to get kids off to Pre Institution or university at the earliest achievable age, particularly if your youngster is socially knowledgeable and also generally a vivid trigger. You can not safeguard all of them anymore, however you know that your kid needs to take those measures. Recalling his need to operate closely along with Classy owner Andre Harrell, Combs claims, "I told him I would certainly wash automobiles, stopped institution-- anything-- a valuable chance to be in your existence. " At simply 19 years of ages, Combs had been marketed to end up being some of the tag's magnates, handling such remarkable work as Daddy MC, Mary J. kauf-wert.de Blige and Heavy D & the Boyz. However, for practically every person, a college reunion are going to be a difficult celebration, which will at the same time blow the mind, generate fond memories, as well as make our company think of just how our lifestyle might have turned out in different ways. Nonetheless, the true excellence from a Christian college is actually not viewed only from the perspective of examination ratings. We created the adjustment, and Mister Male's expertise from moving throughout the school year was actually exactly as mine were years back. Juilliard, for instance, admits only 5% of candidates; the Eastman Institution is actually somewhat a lot more lenient, letting in 13% of applicants. The simple fact is that was ONE college district and also ONE panel president for Philadelphia gave his point of view about his university district. Seriously communicating, high school diploma is actually considerable credential for job market or even higher education. My university was actually attached to a convent, but the nuns just weren't thus poor due to the fact that many of them ended 70; although they were still a couple of that can discourage you merely by glancing at you. If you have to contact your little one's university for assistance at that point make a note of what is taking place, which is doing it, and when that is actually occurring. Chat to a financial advisor today if you prefer your child to learn at the best personal universities. No, there really isn't a perfect pupil schooled from residence - or even from any other college. We are big believers in public colleges - -and also advise you consider just what you can possibly do in order to help your little one be marketed to 4th grade. Tommy always keeps an occupied routine in the course of the school year and also as a properly spherical and serious boy, he will definitely stand for the perfects and information of the XYZ School currently as well as in the future. One Republican tactic to hobble institution lunch time entails altering an innocuous-sounding proposition called the Community Eligibility Provision.
Gymnasium (senior high school) until 12th quality or even 13th grade (along with Abitur as leave test, qualifying for admittance to university). College grads create an average of regarding $51,000 a year compared to merely approximately $28,000 for folks along with simply a senior high school degree. C. Your institution is intending to coordinate a 'Institution Beautifying' day where all pupils would be occupying tasks related to cleaning the university properties. This college must not be actually puzzled with Holy place Religious Institute, situated in Bloom Pile, Texas.

Translation for "Future Diary: the 13th Diary Owner"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Future Diary: the 13th Diary Owner" is a visual novel based on the manga and anime of Future Diary, with two official versions: the original release and a re-release dubbed Re:Write.
The game was never officially translated to English; however, some of us within the community have been working on the fan-translation, and I've decided to post my own work here. The following is a link to a Google Drive folder with all of the translations I've personally worked on so far, in the form of pdf scripts. I want to clarify that this are my personal translations, which I've been working on since 2019. Nothing on the folder is related to the group-work on the game's translation, official game files and coding, since it only includes files that I've created. For that reason, the translations for each game chapter appear as pdf scripts, instead of it being a ROM translation.

Translation for the Side Stories!
Tumblr media
This is an update to my pinned post about the translation of the game "Future Diary: the 13th Diary Owner." I’m happy to say that I’ve finished the translations for the side stories, meaning that the game has been translated in its entirety! You can find the document with the side stories in the main folder > menus & bonus material translated. I just wanted to thank everyone who’s kept up with this project since it was announced, despite its ups and downs and the time it took, it's nice to finally see it completed. I still have other translation projects thought out for Future Diary, so hopefully this isn’t my last project on this series 👀

The Future Diary telephone/toshō cards are another piece of obscure Future Diary merch that came out with the release of the visual novel “Future Diary: the 13th Diary Owner.” For those who don’t know, telephone cards or テレカカード (terekakādo) as they’re known in Japanese, are prepaid cards used for public payphones, while toshō cards are basically gift cards exclusive for Japanese book stores. As far as how they were distributed, there were 5 cards released along with the original version of the visual novel, and another 4 for its re-release. These cards were not included in the game box though, as they were given out in physical stores. Not exactly sure how they were distributed within the stores, since the bottom of the cards says “not for sale,” but from my research, they were only available through physical stores. The first 5 cards released had the manga art style (as this was before the anime came out).
These three are telephone cards, which I’ve seen posted around a few times.
Tumblr media
This one’s another telephone card, but I’ve never seen anyone else post it outside of this one auction site. (The image is not the best quality, so I put another picture of its illustration next to it.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lastly, here’s the only toshō card that came out from this release. (It’s for 500 yen as you can see).
Tumblr media
As for the cards that came out with the re-release, these are the telephone cards.
Tumblr media
And this are the toshō cards.
Tumblr media
Bonus: I have seen a few people posting this picture saying that it’s another one of these cards, but that’s actually not the case. This is a B4 sized wall tapestry, realsed for the Re:Write version of the game.
Tumblr media
Bonus bonus: Ever seen this double-sided illustration?
Tumblr media
This is actually a sleeve for the game’s disk, which came in the limited edition bundle of Re:Write (the re-release). The Japanese sites that I saw mentioning this piece of merch referred to it as a “jacket” (ジャケット), which left me confused at first thinking there was a whole ass jacket that that was released as promo merch, but turns out that “jacket” is just another way of saying “sleeve” for a disk in Japanese. And bonus points if anyone recognized the artwork from the sleeve as the same one that appears in that elevator ad banner.

So, one day out of curiosity when I was looking at the Japanese Future Diary manga, I noticed these little "about me" sections that Esuno wrote on each of the volume covers. They seemed like just some random facts about him, like how he doesn't eat shellfish because of the way they look (same buddy, same), but two in particular stood out to me, from volumes 1 and 2:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
TL 1: A photo from the day the sky was pink. It's me, Esuno, who takes loads of photos with a digital camera for work. Recording things means looking back on the past, but what if you could record the future?... What would you do? That's what "Future Diary" is about.
TL 2: It's me, Esuno, who also takes nice pictures of flowers. I usually take photos of all sorts of things, but, since I'm thinking of using them as work material for later, I only end up taking pictures of weird stuff. I'm probably the only one who visits a tourist attraction and goes out of their way to photgraph a bench.
At first this seems normal, until you realize that one of Esuno's characters has a pretty close connection to flowers and digital cameras...
Tumblr media
DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUN!!!
So, although it was never outright confirmed, I'm going to assume the inspiration for her character came out of Esuno's interest in photography and nice flower pictures.
