Happy birthday to my son furuichi takayuki!!

2 days late but I finish it.

Rereading and rewatching beelzebub was a blast. I loved the scene in the anime where they were sitting at the riverside while furuichi was apologizing to oga for getting kidnapped. So, I was thinking that it might be some place where they had been hanging around just having simple fun times and watching the sunset together.

As much as I like an Oga getting flustered over his feelings for Furuichi, I can also see him quietly waiting for Furuichi to make the first move.

Oga is the type of person who shows his feelings through actions, but he’s also the type who won’t take action if he feels it won’t result in anything. Furuichi is very outspoken about liking girls so I can see Oga interpreting that as Furuichi having zero interest in him and therefore there’s no point in Oga making his feelings known.

But in doing so, he also comes across as having zero interest and since Oga is very squeamish about romance, Furuichi would probably avoid making the first move so as not to make Oga uncomfortable and drive him away.

Okay, so there was this manga Beelzebub. Ship Oga Tatsumi x Furuichi Takayuki should be more popular. I don’t remember how popular the manga and anime were but I remember how I searched hoping to find more content with them. The stuff I found was awesome but I just wished it was more.

Also, I like manga Konya Mo Nemurenai. It’s a silly BL, unfortunately without an anime adaptation so the main leads Endo and Rikiya Higuchi don’t get enough love :(

And of course, Jaeho x Hyunsoo from The Merciless deserves all the love and recognition in the world ❤️❤️❤️

Omg hi! I think I remember you back from beelzebub fandom days!

I don't know what kind of future hcs you're thinking if, but I do really love the idea that Oga and Hilda get an allowance from the Royal family to raise their kids, and so they don't HAVE to work, but Oga does because he wants to set an example for Beel. I love the idea of him doing odd supernatural jobs for people a la Reigen from Mob Psycho!

Furuichi meanwhile, I think he would have a few years where maybe he's not fully present because of university woes, and he earnestly wanted to become a doctor. But past a certain point juggling 2 kids, a boyfriend, and a demonic nanny, and getting missions from Behemoth's squad was too much so he was forced to drop out. But that's OK, he and Oga both run the supernatural agency together!

I feel like after a while things get pretty stable?? And like, they keep in touch with the Ishiyama crowd too. However, I think the weirdest thing that needs addressing is Baby Beel not growing. I don't understand why he doesn't grow during their 2 year timeskip, but I believe he should age normally up until a certain point. The idea of Beel going into his teenage rebellion mode with Oga as a dad is hilarious!

And imagine Oga and Furuichi finally get time to themselves because Beel is doing stuff on his own. Like maybe Furuichi convinces Oga to do something romantic like go out on a date. And then it gets ruined because Beel, Aoi's brother, and Kanzaki's niece unsealed an ancient demon or something so they have to go save their asses. It would be hilarious!

I'm today years old when I learn from duolingo that furui (古い) in furuichi's name means old. So his name means "old one"? LMAO

Ggl the kanji alone, it translates to antiquity. So... "ancient one"?😂 I mean, that might explains why he was able to summon Behemoth and the demons.

1. Purson Soi 🎺 Mairimashita! Iruma-kun

i think this one was obvious afdsgbg. i just love him sm, and the fact that you can see little snippets of him from the beginning of the series is fantastic and you never know where he's lurking is just so cool. he's so relatable and just a really well written character (every character in mairuma is well-written i love mairuma sm)

2. Kageyama Shigeo 🌻 Mob Psycho 100

one of my favorite characters in mp100 it was hard to choose but i ultimately decided on mob! related to him so much i cried multiple times while watching the series (never skipped the opening it's such a banger). he's so nice and cool, and so damn relatable. he's got his funny moments too, despite being a strong psychic/esper he just wants to live his life regularly and not thinking himself as above others. this series is 100% fantastic, if you want a new anime to watch or manga to read, 100% recommend

3. Agatsuma Zenitsu ⚡ Demon Slayer

honestly i was so annoyed at him and his crying but realized: "Oh i relate to him" so that was a crisis /lh. but yeah i can see how his crying and whining can get annoying and get many fans to dislike him, but seeing his backstory, experiences, and just basic personality remove the crying. i'll be crying every day if i were him too. he's just so cool and awesome, he gets confidence whenever he falls asleep but when he wakes up his self esteem and confidence plummets, he only knows one breathing form but he mastered it to the T!

4. Akane Aoi ⏳ Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun

akane aoi! idk why but he's just really cool, part supernatural, clock keeper of the present. his 'love' for aoi is more of an obsession with her. his entire character revolves around her, and that's gotta spark some identity crisis within himself some day, i love it.

(lemon yamabuki is a close runner-up though i need more content of lemon)

5. Furuichi Takayuki Beelzebub

oooo boy this series is an old one but i still love it with all my heart. furuichi takayuki! best friend of tatsumi oga! the tactician/general of the delinquent school, ishiyama high! he's known as the 'Perverted' character and gets beat up for it a l o t in canon but i love how its not his ONLY defining trait, they also handled the pervert issue in my favorite arc in the manga and showed how one-dimensional and shallow the characters see him. he's so well-written and fleshed out and his entire character is *chef's kiss* i love him so much and can go in an entire rant about him but this is long enough.

6. Cheslock 🎻 Black Butler

he gave me so much gender envy when i first saw him. please he's so cool and despite his punk aesthetic he's a musical genius i cant wait to see him get animated. he's actually a side character but honestly i dont care i just love that he exists but is chronically underrated please-

7. Jun'ichiro Tanizaki ❄️ Bungo Stray Dogs

ok first up- his relationship with his sister is 100% WEIRD, there is a chance that theyre not actually related but it's still quite weird to do romantic acts with someone you openly call a sibling. disregarding that, tanizaki is a force to be reckoned with ngl, he's scary when he needs to be, his ability is strong and the way he utilizes it is amazing. he looks so harmless but he can actually kill you. i want his sweater right there it looks comfortable especially with the long sleeves i can hide my hands in as well

8. Zuko 🔥 Avatar: the Last Airbender

need i explain more. he's ZUKO. the ORIGINAL bad guy gets redemption arc, but done 100% RIGHT. they gave him a tragic backstory, stubborn and determined personality, funny personality and memorable quotes, and the most memorable hair journey. flameo hotman.

9. Anthony J Crowley 😈 Good Omens

i love him sm, he's so funny and cool, radiates sm gender envy too and i want to steal his entire closet. despite being a demon he's undeniably not Evil, he causes mischief efficiently, and i love efficiency.

10. Barbatos ☕ Obey Me

i don't know why he's my favorite he just is. he's so nice and kind in-game, he's efficient, competent, charming, i love him sm. he can basically do everything, a walking tea encyclopedia, likes heavy metal, and greatly dislikes rats. he can also control time and timelines?? so cool why dont people like barbatos more

1. What ship were you completely obsessed with when you were a teenager, but now you don't care anymore?

There were some k-pop ships I used to ship but as time went by I just stopped. Maybe because I’m not as much into k-pop as I used to be.

I also don’t ship any of Hetalia’s characters anymore.

2. Which ship would you consider your first one?

Stella and Brandon from Winx Club or Kevin and Gewn from Ben 10: Alien Force. That was even before I was aware of what shipping was.

While I was aware, I think it was Shizaya? Durarara was one of the first animes I watched. And Heiwajima Shizuo and Orihara Izaya's love-hate relationship was so good for a 12-year-old me.

Or it could be SasuNaru…

3. Your first fanfic belonged to which couple?

Written it was Merciless. 

But read? That was so long time ago...

I remember I found some Ben 10 stories on the Internet and I read a lot of them as a kid.

But when I read and I was aware I was reading fanfics it was most likely SasuNaru or Darry. It was most likely still on Wattpad or fanfiction.net. On or those self-publishing blogs. Those were popular back then.

4. Do you remember the first couple you saw a fanart over?

Probably SasuNaru. Or another ship that was popular at the beginning of the 2010s.

5. Did you ever get into ship discourse?

I try not to. I mostly believe that fiction is fiction and when I don't like something I just don't read it.

I like to read people's points of view though.

6. Did you used to have any no-otp or have it currently?

Not really. I used to hate UkFrance from Hetalia but now I just don't care. And I never really shipped Destiel. But I'm not sure I would call them a no-otp.

7. Who were the couple in the last fanfic you read?

A new chapter of Merciless fic that I'm always waiting for was published. It's called Hidsight by duty_free. AND IT'S AWESOME, GO READ IT. It's a wonderful continuation to The Merciless that can actually fix those two morons (I have hope, it's still ongoing)

Before it, my friend @frayed-at-the-seams published her fic about Junho and Hoyeol from D.P. It's called Dogs and Cats. It's an interesting supernatural spin on the original story and it allows Junho and Hoyeol to be cute ❤️

8. Currently, do you have any OTPs?

Zeke x Levi from Shingeki no Kyojin. I used to not be much into it but there is an amazing reincarnation comic AU on twitter (here) with them and I have to say that they have a potential.

11. Do you have any ship that, in the past, was considered normal but now you would be canceled over?

Not sure... There were some ships that I wasn't aware of age. I don't mind ships with big age differences but I like for both parties to be over 18.

So maybe as an example Levi x Eren? Eren was 15 and now looking back I'm not sure if I would ship it. 

12. What was your favorite crack ship?

Tried to think of something but my head is empty. I don't believe I don't have any crack ships!

13. Who is the couple you read more fanfics of?

Shizaya, GinHiji or ChanBaek. They have big fandoms so I could just move from one fic to another. 

Also YoonMin. I used to ship them a lot but now not really but I read a lot of fics with them.

14. What most of your ships usually have in common?

They usually banter or tease each other. Those love-hate relationships are my favorites. And more of them lately have an age difference.

15. What you absolutely hate in a ship?

Lack of chemistry? I hate too much drama but also don't like where everything is fine. And cheating.
