Wanted to revisit a rabbit, but opted to go with skull because rabbits have such a small margin between looks great and what is that [horror]; I added antlers because Why not. Its spring the Bunneh is here to welcome in flowers and you know what plants like? BONES... anyways the base it by dragonartist15 on thingaverse https://www.thingiverse.com/dragonartist15/designs Features: zipper moving jaw adjustable elastic tail and hands RGB LEDs -Shimmer pain that you can't see in the photos :C sent this off to my buddy running riot to add to her display. Horse is next but I have considerably less WiP for that. -- After this is the horse and then bad news; I did the numbers. I need to increase my prices. I cannot keep offering heads or partials at my current prices. I will still do experimental pieces at the current rates, but the stuff I want to do, and present as my art will have an increase to the prices. which will be reflected in my trello

i think a significant amount of the wvba would be furries. Of course you got the expected ones like great tiger, bear hugger, aran ryan who would be either a rat or a stoat probably, and disco kid who would likely be a protogen (robo furry) but then you get the unexpected ones like piston hondo, who everyone thinks is a cute girl in a cat kemono with giant boobs until he takes his head off.

then mac as a jackalope who keeps it a secret until doc finds one of his con badges and teases him endlessly until he also folds and makes a bear fursona. Then sandman who is a dommy daddy bara rhino who does extremely good light stick dances and covers his face at all times at cons. also gabby jay who went from collecting dog figurines in a curio cabinet like a grandma to making a berger picard dog fursuit when the youtube algorithm started showing him furries instead of five minute crafts and puppies

I've thought WAY TOO MUCH about this

(although I don't really have ideas about the madou/OPP chars, so this is just the Primp and Suzuran crews)

- Amitie - golden retriever

Coloring matches her hair; also, they're known for being very friendly

- Sig - some kind of beetle (but notably, it's half red and half blue)

What does Sig like more than bugs? I think a horned beetle of some sort would fit him well. Also, there's both red and blue options...

- Raffina - orange tabby cat

Her Quest cat alt is an orange tabby (and it matches her white/yellow/orange coloring a lot). Female orange cats are rare, but they do exist. Also, she acts all aloof and regal... but is actually quite kind and nice.

- Klug - brown wolf

It's the most generic/average option for someone being turned into an animal (and he’s been mentioned to be very average in most aspects). Also, associations with the moon.

- Lidelle - rabbit (jackalope)

She's jumpy and nervous, and rabbits are kinda associated with grass and greenery? Also, jackalopes are horned rabbits, and are mythical creatures.

- Accord - blue jay

Blue jays are songbirds, and they're very pretty... but a lot of people don't really like them. Kinda matches with Accord being... suspicious.

- Lemres - fruit bat

They're really pretty harmless, but have a lot of bad associations that people make about bats. Also fruit is really sweet, and some cultures treat fruit as dessert.

- Feli - black crow

Crows are considered harbingers of doom, and they fit her goth aesthetic really well

- Ringo - red squirrel

I feel like squirrels match her high-energy nature pretty well. They usually eat nuts, but sometimes eat fruit and veggies, too

alternatively, cardinals (which are very red birds) are also songbirds.

- Maguro - bluefin tuna (maguro)

.....yeah.

- Ris - either human (if you think he's actually a squirrel-bear) or a squirrel-bear (if you think he's actually human in a fursuit)

Finished head for strawberryaftern00n's (Instagram) partial!

This was my first ever Jackalope suit/head and I'm very happy with how it turned out!

And heres the photos of the partial altogether!

She is such a cutie! She features a hidden head zipper since the owner is a glasses wearer, antler jewelry, a wig which the roots were dyed blue by me, and some ears that wiggle ^-^

I know everyone’s always like “live your best life!” but like..... are you sure?

This is Strawbebby Jackalope who uh... do I have a fursona now? idk.

Design Notes:

This is, for me, actually a pretty loose design; there’s a lot of wiggle room stylistically, especially considering this isn’t designed as a species. Basically the shortlist is as follows:

-Strawbebby has eyes, but they’re practically NEVER seen. Only when the leaves are like. very intentionally lifted up or spread apart, like the focus of the art is that you CAN see the eye(s).

-Seed placement is unimportant, except the ones on the cheeks and back. Generally they show up in the spots drawn, but there can be as many or as few as desired. They are basically just restricted to the pink areas.

-Fluff varies. I’ve drawn the neck/chest ruff as more of a collar before and either is valid. Patches of longer fur may show up on the forearms and ankles/feet. Winter coat maybe?

-The strawberry top has ten lobes: three cover the face, two others split around each horn, and three are in the back.
