I don't know how to feel about the new Furby coming with a name necklace. It's interesting that they are obviously watching the community. The fanciful names and name necklaces are so identified with DIY and customizing Furby culture, and this feels like that is being diluted and bore-ified (really? Just "Furby"? As if they're all named Furby?). It's either a cute nod to the Furb subculture or commodifying and selling it back to us.

(Take this with a sense of humor, I'm aware that these are expensive toys trading on nostalgia and that adult Furby collectors are not their primary market, and also capitalism.)

Found out from my doctor father that the “skin” inside your mouth is called Squamous (pronounced skwee-muhs or skway-muhs) and I think that is a great name for a long furby or for your first born child
