Ed's coming right up to Atem, a wide smile upon his face as he casually picks Atem up, spinning him around in a circle, coupled with a tight hug. "Dad told me you two got engaged! I can't believe it, I'm so excited for you both! Congratulations!"

"!!!"

Atem gave a little yipe as he (the older one) was picked up by the young alchemist and spun around, almost disorienting him with how strong Edward was. Once he was put back down and tightly embraced, he composed himself.

"That's right. Here." Atem showed the engagement ring on his ring finger on his left hand. It was a bright band of gold, Egyptian hieroglyphics etched on the band, if Edward could read them at all. Atem sure could, and that's what mattered.

"Looks like you lot are stuck with me for the long run. Better get nice and comfy~"

Ed hadn't been paying attention, he knew these hallways well...Until he walked face-first into the carefully placed saran wrap in the hallway. Stopping dead and taking a couple steps back, he looked around to try and figure out what the hell just happened or who put it there. "What the hell? Who put saran wrap across the hallway?"

Russell rounded the corner on the other side of the barrier he'd created with a smug smirk, crossing his arms while he admired his handiwork. The result was even better than he'd expected. He wasn't sure if Ed would have noticed it or not before he walked into it, but the plan had worked perfectly. Fletcher had tried to talk him out of it, but the plan would be too much fun not to follow through with it.

"It looks like it worked after all." He took a few steps forward and reached out to press his hand against the tightly secured saran wrap. "Looks like I finished setting it up just in time. You came through earlier than I expected. Who would have thought you'd be so easy to trick," he taunted.

A surreal amount of true emotional sentiment leaves his lips, even going so far as to spread across his smile until he leans forward to finish his sentence and it falls flat.

Yuri was leaning back as he watched Repede chewing a bit on the pipe that was hanging in his teeth. It wasn't until the canine perked up when this blond guy passed by them that he started growling, and it got Yuri curious. He wouldn't act like that unless this guy isn't normal. Meaning to say...gotta check him out.

"Anyways, me and my bud here are pretty new around these parts. Could you point me to where I can find the Central Library?"

this, of course, is downplaying it - that side of him apparently likes it way too tight, and he always ends up regretting wearing it later, but it's key to the whole alternate persona thing. but still, definitely way too tight. he's gonna have to make sure the strings are shortened so there's not so much room next time.

Reality Roomies

Ed was, admittedly, very unsure of this whole thing. Cohabitating with a stranger was one thing, but having cameras on them 24/7 was definitely not helping the situation. As he walked hesitantly into the small apartment he would be sharing with this new roommate, he decided that using caution was likely the best route for the time being.

This is all so Cliche, but well, there's fun to be had in cliche, isn't there? At least you've given me a little bag for some outfits and of course, my writing supplies. That's hanging over my shoulder as I open the door and let myself into wha ti guess is my new home.

Well, anything would be better hten an empty shattered school of where i came from, but percursory glance around... it was a nice place. Made sense, for a reality tv show, they'd want to show something nice to show the viewers... And of course, here's also my partner in performance.

I set my bag on a nearby couch as i speak. "Hello, nice to meet you!" With the bag off my shoulder I approach and and hold out my hand. "I'm Monika, and I suppose the show runners expect some silly antics out of throwing the two of us together for a month." After all, I know my own director, as it were. knows I've not much interest in any sort of future romantic pursuits myself, no matter what the original prompt may be.

"Hey Envy, uh...I know this is kinda random but I was wondering if I could talk with you about something..." Cue Ed holding his hands up to show he wasn't there for a fight first, not really in the mood to start anything. "There's been something I've been trying to figure out, but uh...You're kinda the only person who might be able to relate?"

" Well, this is certainly interesting. Didn't think you'd ever come asking for anything, pipsqueak. Let alone advice. " Though there is no real malice in how Envy responded to the elder Elric. He'd gotten it intrigued enough to hear him out. It waved its hand at him, beckoning him closer. " I won't bite. Go ahead then, ask away. "

Ed gave a soft laugh. "Yes, actually, she's growing pretty smart. She tried to say 'Mustang' the other day after Dad left the house, but she can't pronounce M sounds or T sounds yet...So as far as she's concerned, his name is 'BuhBang'." He mused warmly, unable to keep himself from letting out a soft snort at the thought of it.

Still, she was a very happy and bubbly little girl, and as she grew, it wouldn't be too long before she started talking more. Though Ed suddenly had a thought hit him.

"Oh yeah...I totally forgot, one night when you and dad were out, I uh...Kinda built a hot tub. It's open for use, I'd just have to turn it on, it's on the deck out back.."

"BuhBang. Oh, that's a good one." Atem couldn't help but laugh. Definitely going to let Roy know about that one, just to see his reaction.

Though, at the mention of a... hot tub... Atem just blinked.

"You made... a hot tub?" As in big tub of hot, hot water they can just soak in? Ohhhhhhh Edward shouldn't have said that to Atem because he will undoubtedly be using that, him and his Colonel.

"Does Roy know- Um... I mean... you know, does he know of what you've built?"

"Anyone want a slice of mama's famous Apple Pie~? I may have made a few too many..." He's here, and after finally getting a proper night's rest, he's happy as a clam it seems.

Deemed as unthreatening as long as he had a handler. Shadow found himself pawned over to the alchemist. Still not over the fact that he watched his only friend die and his creator leave in cuffs, he’s practically shaking as he keeps his distance. Arms stiff at his sides as he looks to the ground, he’s trying hard not to cry despite never really getting the chance to. His emotions on the verge of bubbling over on him as his fists clench.

He doesn’t want to be here, he wants to go home. These strangers have done nothing but poke and prod him since they captured him. They aren’t friendly like they say. Maria was friendly! These people just want whatever’s inside of him. What’s making him tick. Well they can’t have it! And neither can this guy!

Red eyes side stare the blonde. Keeping his eyes on him as he moves closer to him while shadow continues to keep his distance.
