Ed hadn't been paying attention, he knew these hallways well...Until he walked face-first into the carefully placed saran wrap in the hallway. Stopping dead and taking a couple steps back, he looked around to try and figure out what the hell just happened or who put it there. "What the hell? Who put saran wrap across the hallway?"

Russell rounded the corner on the other side of the barrier he'd created with a smug smirk, crossing his arms while he admired his handiwork. The result was even better than he'd expected. He wasn't sure if Ed would have noticed it or not before he walked into it, but the plan had worked perfectly. Fletcher had tried to talk him out of it, but the plan would be too much fun not to follow through with it.

"It looks like it worked after all." He took a few steps forward and reached out to press his hand against the tightly secured saran wrap. "Looks like I finished setting it up just in time. You came through earlier than I expected. Who would have thought you'd be so easy to trick," he taunted.

this, of course, is downplaying it - that side of him apparently likes it way too tight, and he always ends up regretting wearing it later, but it's key to the whole alternate persona thing. but still, definitely way too tight. he's gonna have to make sure the strings are shortened so there's not so much room next time.

Reality Roomies

Ed was, admittedly, very unsure of this whole thing. Cohabitating with a stranger was one thing, but having cameras on them 24/7 was definitely not helping the situation. As he walked hesitantly into the small apartment he would be sharing with this new roommate, he decided that using caution was likely the best route for the time being.

This is all so Cliche, but well, there's fun to be had in cliche, isn't there? At least you've given me a little bag for some outfits and of course, my writing supplies. That's hanging over my shoulder as I open the door and let myself into wha ti guess is my new home.

Well, anything would be better hten an empty shattered school of where i came from, but percursory glance around... it was a nice place. Made sense, for a reality tv show, they'd want to show something nice to show the viewers... And of course, here's also my partner in performance.

I set my bag on a nearby couch as i speak. "Hello, nice to meet you!" With the bag off my shoulder I approach and and hold out my hand. "I'm Monika, and I suppose the show runners expect some silly antics out of throwing the two of us together for a month." After all, I know my own director, as it were. knows I've not much interest in any sort of future romantic pursuits myself, no matter what the original prompt may be.

While he was walking down the streets, Ling overheard that Edward had gotten into some kind of trouble. He knew that Ed could take care of himself, but from what he heard there was more than one person there, and Ling didn't want to take any chances. He went straight for where passersby directed him.

Because he expected to hear commotion on his way, Ling knew that he was already too late. He just prayed that Edward was the one left standing and it was his attackers who were beaten. Of course he was proven wrong the moment he arrived. His heart nearly stopped when he surveyed the area. It was a mess. Ed's automail was shattered, he was bleeding profusely, his breathing was off. Ed barely looked like himself.

"Ed!" Ling rushed to his side and dropped to his knees, lifting Ed gently onto his lap. "Ed? Edward, stay with me!"

The sensation of Ed dying on him made Ling feel ill. He couldn't let his friend die here, not like this. As carefully as possible, he lifted Ed in his arms and stood. "Hold on, Ed. Please, just hold on for me."

He cared not that blood was getting all over him as he rushed away from the scene. He went straight for the nearest hospital, ignoring and shouldering past anyone in his way. He was out of breath by the time he got inside, and he tried to ignore the fact Ed's breathing seemed to get even slower. He looked around the lobby at the shocked onlookers. Why were the fools just staring?!

"I need a doctor! I need a doctor immediately!" Ling shouted, looking around desperately. "Please! My friend doesn't have much time left- he's lost a lot blood! Get me a doctor!"

How long had Alphonse been in this world? He was starting to lose count of the days. He thankfully still had all of his memories and he had his own body again, but now that he had his own body he had been in the hospital for at least a month or so before he was discharged due to his body being very malnourished.

The lady that found him laying on the ground barely able to stand was kind enough to help him to the hospital and asked if he had any parents which in response he had said no. He couldn't even find his brother anywhere so he felt so alone. She was kind enough to foster him in the mean time till he's able to be old enough to take care of himself.

Now after a month of getting used to walking and making sure he was eating properly, he was living with the woman and in high school, Domino High to be exact. He had been walking home from school in a uniform that they were ordered to wear when at this school. It was a blue blazer and he had a white buttoned up shirt underneath it.

He had already said good bye to his new friends he had made while staying here and was heading out towards the home of his current place now and as he was walking he noticed a familiar face. A face he knew all too well and his mind was racing as he saw it. It couldn't be, could it???

"B-Brother? I-Is that really you?" He wasn't some sort of hallucination was he? He prayed that he wasn't, he was hoping that his suspicions were correct. He knew that hair and eyes from anywhere and he knew that person, he knew his brother all too well.

"Hey Envy, uh...I know this is kinda random but I was wondering if I could talk with you about something..." Cue Ed holding his hands up to show he wasn't there for a fight first, not really in the mood to start anything. "There's been something I've been trying to figure out, but uh...You're kinda the only person who might be able to relate?"

" Well, this is certainly interesting. Didn't think you'd ever come asking for anything, pipsqueak. Let alone advice. " Though there is no real malice in how Envy responded to the elder Elric. He'd gotten it intrigued enough to hear him out. It waved its hand at him, beckoning him closer. " I won't bite. Go ahead then, ask away. "

A young girl entered the large, imposing building, wrapping her arms around herself. She looked out of place and scared with fresh tear tracks on her cheeks. Half terrible she reached out and gently pinched the sleeve of someone's coat. "Please... can you help me?"
