Okay! So my friend who is off T right now.

The first thing they noticed (besides their period coming back...) was that their shoulders got smaller and their hips larger. After a few months their face got rounder which they hated since they were already being mistaken for a teenager while on testosterone and it's gotten worse (they are 29 lol)

But yeah, if you're worried about body and facial hair while on testosterone it all depends on genetics. My friend never grew a beard and only has a very wispy mustache that you can't even see after they shave. My partner, on the other hand, has a full beard and has quite a bit of chest and body hair. That being said, my partner was already quite hairy before testosterone and their facial hair and chest hair didn't darken until they upped their T levels to match "typical cis male testosterone levels".

Depending on what country you live in and how ur medical is handle it is completely possible to only go on low levels of T and never be forced to transition to a binary gender presentation. Low levels will deff give u less body fat and some muscle growth without a lot of the secondary sex characteristics like facial hair. At least, that's the experience of my transmasc friends and partner. An option to fight facial hair (if u have the money) might be to get a laser hair kit, and zap the hairs before they thicken too much.

But what ever you chose to do remember that it's okay and cool to go back on that decision. Nothing says you can't go off t, go back on later, go off it again and then back again. Bodies change with and against our wishes, and there's no manual for it. All we can go is sorta experiment and try and see what fits and what dosnt.

If I were to go on T, I probably get to a point where I'd want to stop going on T so I think if my fat distribution were to go back to how it was, my heart would break :'/ I am naturally hairy so T would make it heavier even if I were on low dose of T! I have thought about going on low dose of T but I'm not sure exactly

have a little timeline for orpheus's life because i think its important that other people learn how neatly everything fits and also i’m procrastinating on writing but shhhh that’s not important

- born (presumably. we dont actually have proof he was born but like. that does seem to be how people spawn in the city)

- age seven: illum war ended (not particularly relevant to orpheus's life i just thought it was neat)

- age eighteen: turned to prostitution to make money, almost gets arrested, is hired by dionisius, & meets narcissus (this all happens like, within three days sbjsfjs) 

- age 22-23ish: sees the sun for the first time and subsequent gets his patrons, the maenad sisters. starts to rise to popularity in the music industry now that he had the time and money to start performing.

- age 22-23ish: meets eurydice, they fall in love and do couply-y things, presumably 

- age 25 [two years before seaside]: narcissus is kidnapped and almost turned into a somnambulist (again, not directly related to orpheus but i thought it was neat) 

- age 26-27 [four years after meeting eurydice]: eurydice dies :(

- some time shortly after eurydice dies: orpheus and narcissus go on a trip to the seaside (fiction) takes place. this specifically takes place approximately nine years after orpheus and narcissus first meet.

- sometime around this time, orpheus tries to go back to work and is fired. this could happen any time between seaside (as orpheus hadn’t gone back to work at that point) and muratic acid (where it’s revealed that orpheus was fired). personally i think it was before he went to hades for help, just because it wouldn’t make much sense for him to accept a job when he already has one, but there’s no actual canon evidence to support this.

- shortly after seaside (two or three months at most) orpheus goes to hades to ask for euridice back. hades suggests he take the ulysses job and orpheus accepts, although he’s given little information at the time about what that actually entails. 

- approximately six weeks later, orpheus, dionisius, muriatic acid and the strange whirring thing (fiction) takes place (technically there are several flashback bits in this one, but the actual time it’s taking place is six weeks after the deal with hades). orpheus receives further information on the ulysses job. 

- sometime around this time (this is probably the vaguest event on the timeline) narcissus is taken away to medea asylum. it’s definitely after seaside (because narcissus is like. specifically not there) and probably before muriatic acid (narcissus going to the asylum is referenced in it, but that could just be talking about the vision orpheus had and not actual events). he could have not actually gone and the acheron got burned down before that vision could play out, or it could have not happened at all, considering we know Nothing about how accurate orpheus’s visions are. and again, this isn’t particularly relevant but i thought it was Neat

- some time after muriatic acid (it could be the same day but that wouldn’t make much sense tbh) the actual ulysses job begins. the events of ulysses dies at dawn begin to play out, taking place over about 3-4 hours (probably. we don’t know when udad starts, only what time it ends, but i can’t see it taking longer than that to just like. open some doors) 

- age 27-28ish: orpheus dies a little bit before dawn from a slit throat. can we get an f in the chat lads

Re: hair YES (I feel kind of stupid writing in English when we both speak French but whatever). Everytime I have to catch myself when I write about it in English, it's ridiculous.

RIGHT? The corrector at least catches the “Her hairs are red” but sometimes let the “Her hair are red” slide... Somehow lately I find myself making mistakes I didn’t use to make in english, it’s pretty frustrating.

But the one I do most often by far is confidently using a word/turn of phrase similar to the french version thinking it’ll work out in english... Spoiler alert it doesn’t lol. Spécial cacedédi à “be in the confidence” mdr.
