Please stop.

You might badly trigger people suffering from mental illnesses such as OCD. I suffer from OCD myself (which is NOT a fucking love of order by the way but a prison of horrible thoughts, fear and compulsion) and before therapy, stuff like that triggered the hell out of me.

People with OCD sometimes suffer from so-called „magical thinking“ which means they actually really believe that if they do not repost shitty posts like the ones mentioned above, something bad might actually happen to their loved ones. Which will give them a great amount of anxiety. So no it‘s not „just a joke“ or „funny“. To some people, it can be the start of an anxiety-spiral.

I‘m over caring about stuff like this but I‘ve had more than a year of therapy and am stable. Now it just makes me angry.

Please share this to help my fellow OCD-fighters. You might save one of them from a bad day.

This a note I wrote a while back, "With OCD sometimes certain things stick in your head and repeat them over and over like a broken record. Sometimes it's a word, or something someone said to you, a picture, or reenactment of something. There's something in my head that I heard from my dad the other day. He told me about how in the news these two highschool boys on the football team had raped this girl that passed out at a party. They're now on trial to go to prison.
