Sunlight streams through the open window.

Even with her eyes closed, the bright beam is painful to the brunette. From all the drinking she did last night, dehydration has firmly set in--causing the predictable hangover. And that damn sun is not helping in the matter. Her head throbbing, the girl groans and turns away from the offensive light. To her surprise, her nose hits something warm. But it is not the bed's soft sheets warmed by the morning light or her own body. No, this is--

The vague memories of the previous night suddenly hit her harder than the headache pounding away in her cranium. Jolting up, she lets out a slight yelp, distancing herself from the man beside her in bed. The man, if she remembers correctly, that she now shares a last name with. In her panic, the girl clumsily falls off the large mattress, knocking over the lamp on the nearby nightstand in the process. She swears beneath her breath.

Fuck fuck fuck--! How the hell did this happen!? she thinks to herself, grabbing her pounding skull. At least my damn clothes are still on, she sighs internally, eyes on the red sleeves on her shirt. Not all that lose themselves in Vegas are so lucky.

Hearing a shift in the bed above her, Retsu freezes in her spot on the floor. The man--who she doesn't even recall the name of--seems to be finally waking up. She cannot even begin to fathom how they are going to get out of this mess they have gotten themselves into.

         Byakuya feels the obligation to be a people-pleaser. He has to satisfy his Clansmen, his comrades, his occupation-- and more than once any action he takes to fulfill what he believes to be 'bestowed obligation' requires him sacrificing his own conscience. Marrying Hisana is probably the only rebellious thing he's ever done.

         A few. You can see all of them here. My most favorite and recent one had to do with Byakuya's virginity, which I published yesterday.

♥: One thing you love about your Muse.

         Byakuya's relationship with Renji, and how it is always changing-- evolving, it's one of the things that attracts me to them the most, making them my favorite taichou and fukutaichou combo. Renji understands Byakuya-- better than Ichigo, better than Rukia-- he has this ability to make Byakuya uncomfortable; he makes him cringe, flinch-- Renji infuriates him, yet he wouldn't want his life to be entrusted with anyone else. It's a specific type of loyalty that can only be built through trial and tribulation.

Well, this was getting quite frequent.. More people lost around those sights?
