starting off STRONG we have some pastel third years and an image of Sugawara that makes me absolutely melt oh my GOD

So I'm world building right now cause it's been fucking hectic (and my brain's too fried to try to write and my tablet is buried) while I'm thinking about cool shit to have civs to be influenced/consider beautiful/hold importance in I remembered something. So Tymes, my dump everything cool in world has this underground called Subterraneus full of Fae/demons, it's one of my major settings (some others being Onsye which is like directly above it and Bluecastle) which we aren't really gonna get into, but it's not the only underground area! The one that slipped my mind is in an artificial underground, which makes like no sense except maybe a combo of overcrowding and over mining forcing people to go anywhere they can?? Which kinda makes so much sense to me, like it was a government project when I first thought of it, they didn't want people starting to invade the brooding caverns or piss off the dragons. This like large island country called Megleg has 2-3 major intelligent species, trolls (of the homestuck variety, two ships on from the alpha universe one from the beta slip through a dimensional tear and crash into Tymes), Nightmares dragons(closer to fae/demons then to other dragons), and the Naga (which might have been on the other major island instead with the major desert country).

Anyway Megleg was a cool ass idea spurred by me wanting trolls in my stupid fantasy world and the idea that they were trying to figure why the fuck Subterraneus doesn't collapse on itself cause it really should. The answer to that is magic. Not learnable magic, but magic nonetheless

I didn't have a point.

It is kinda a shame that Megleg always gets cut when I wanna my fantasy world more "original/grounded"

every time i read the nekoma/karasuno match during the nationals i sort of?? i don't know what i feel but i feel so much and i KNOW what's gonna happen but i just feel it again and its like my heart is at my throat and my stomach is like empty and ah idk (i get that feeling every time i read sth from the nationals arc lol) also kenma during that match was honestly terrifying and like.... beautiful

theee practice match with nekoma et karasuno is just *mwah* bc inuoka deserves better and also you see nekoma and karasuno interact and suga and yaku become friends and they bond over how embarrasssing their juniors are and i just ??? skjfhkjshdkf

nekoma/nohebi was honestly dope as fuck like?? yaku's recieve??? yuki's debut as libero?? OVAs my beloved

DATE TECH ET KARASUNO !!! aghhhhhh it hurts so much but i live with the comfort that date tech went to nationals when hinata was a second year. like. they deserve it they deserve it and i love them

BLUECASTLE AND KARASUNO??? i cry when i read both matches and its like ahhhhh bc it hurts so much and it also feels so good but also no im not okay because bluecastle didnt go to nationals

Their steamwreck of a marriage and Maliph's relationship to his kingship are also parallels

Duchess is such a villain. Like she's dead for almost all of this, but Maliph never would of married Widow or took up the mantle of King if she hadn't put that in her will and organized her own death.

AND she just left her kid(not Widow) behind

Like throughout most of this Maliph looks back on her fondly, but sometimes they're hurt and confused why him why like this. But if they got past the rose tint, she treated them like a tool more than anything else

Maliph despises Widow when she finds out what happened to Bluecastle in her absence. Hell he begins to hate before he dies from the amount of shit she puts him through. And Widow hates him long before that.

I'm not getting to deep into it, but this is by fair the most fucked relationship I've cooked up

Actually maybe some of the shit Maliph went through was karma

Like in the way it affect him and how that parallels to Widow. Not the specific gorey details. He didn't have bad intentions and was put in a super extra shitty situation, but he definitely took decision into his own hands with a "I know better" sorta dismissive air to him, even if that's not what he intended

He almost certainly tried to lock her up when she really started to lose it too

And then he just straight up gave up on her. If it were someone he genuinely cared about he wouldn't have done that
