I have to say my favorite lines are the new lines for Sun's arts and crafts section because they're straight up hilarious. "I should turn the lights off myself" killed me. Someone please give this robot some Prozac and a teddy bear.

My interest in FNAF Sun/Moon is kinda the fault of Bamsara (who I won't tag because I'm not cool enough to interact with them) who has a fanfic called Solar Lunacy which is *chefs kiss* really fulfills my shameless need for x Reader content 💜 ((seriously if I could find familial TS Patton x Reader content I would print it out and hang it on my wall))

Yes the robojesters are very silly and I have to say I'm seeing the FNAF fandom leaning on the head canon that they may have not originally been child-care robots, but on-stage actors, and we're just given child-care programming later which makes me 👀 I love them being doting kiddo caretakers but also the idea of a dedicated thespian being throwing into a pile of wailing children and told to figure it out is absolutely hilarious to me.

Also yes!! I love me some Sanders Sides!! Love my boys. No one is surprised but Patton's bit with the tinier and tinier boxes absolutely was my favorite part. My parents did that when I was like ten and it started off with this GIANT box and I think there were at least six I had to go through before I found a plush of Snoopy and tickets to go to Camp Snoopy at Knott's Farm (forever salty that it was bought by Nickelodeon). I still have that plushy somewhere in my room 💜 and entire book of pressed pennies from Camp Snoopy.

Anyway I actually genuinely enjoyed the new Asides! I miss so much the original format of videos that were one-off and shorter, the conflict being self-contained and generally light hearted. And the interaction between Logan and Virgil was so adorable 💜

Tell me about moths 👀 I love moths and butterflies and BEES😍 (I'm lame, my favorites are the Lunar moth and the Rosey Maple moth. My fairy-sona's outfit is themed to a crossover of the two, though it was more lunar moth like when I first put it together. It's evolved a lot over the years.) Spiders and I have a love-hate relationship rn; the fuzzy ones make me want to cry (pos) and the spindly ones make me want to cry (neg). There's a colony of tiny spindly ladies living in my basement bathroom that I don't know how they got there and I don't know how they keep reproducing because there are no bugs down there.

Hello My Old Heart | Chap. 4

Summary: Sometimes, Steve isn’t as helpful as he thinks he is.

Pairings: Bucky Barnes x Reader [AU]

Warnings: Angst, swearing, some fluff at the end ‘cause I needed it lol

A/N: It’s a short chapter, but I promise it starts to pick up in the next one! We’re almost there!

It took Bucky a long time to figure out how to sleep in the house by himself. Hell, it took him a long time to even go inside the house. Every inch of that house was full of Y/N, and only served as a constant reminder that you weren’t there anymore.

Bucky spent a lot of time at Steve’s or Sam’s, and on the nights he didn’t want to bother anyone with his self-pity, he stayed at the firehouse. At least that way he could be left alone, and didn’t have to talk about his feelings like Steve and Sam hounded him to. 

Bucky didn’t want to talk about anything, because no one would understand. Only Y/N would. At least... that’s what he told himself to justify not talking.

“Bucky?” He hummed and looked up. A kind grin rested on Bruce’s face, “Ya gotta think out loud, remember?” Bucky chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his neck.

“Yeah, sorry. Just a lot goin’ on right now.” Bruce raised his brows expectantly, waiting for Bucky to continue. Bucky sighed, “Uh, my, my–” another deep breath, “Y/N is back in town.” 

“Oh! Have you seen-”

“Yeah, I’ve seen her. It… coulda gone better. She… she wanted to talk about things I’m just not ready to.” Bruce exhaled through his nose and closed his notebook.

“You are ready, though.” Bucky picked at the dirt under his nails and stared at the light grey carpeting. A knock on the door signaled Bucky’s appointment was over for the week. “I had a cancellation for nine tomorrow, do you–”

“Nah, I’ll be fine.”

“Bucky.” A warning tone, that left Bucky feeling guilty. He glanced up at Bruce. “I’m serious. It’s yours, just say the word.”

A long sigh, and Bucky shrugged his shoulder, “I’ll think about it.” He checked his watch. His shift didn’t start until one, but he promised Steve to help with cleaning the engines today. “I’ll see ya later.” Bucky said a quick goodbye to Bruce, and another to the receptionist before he went out to his truck.

He pulled into his parking spot about ten minutes later, grabbing his backpack before getting out. He made his way inside, finding Steve, Clint, and Scott, one of the new recruits from the town over. A quick nod and a raise of his eyebrows, Bucky walked up to the coffee maker and poured a fresh cup into his mug. 

A Valentines-themed Snoopy mug that he’d had for so long, that it took a moment’s pause to remember how he got it. You had gone to the Mall of America back when you were a kid, way before you moved, and had gotten it as a souvenir. It was your prized possession, you’d told him earnestly, because you bought it with your own money and it was all yours. When he said he needed a cup for the firehouse, you didn’t think twice about giving it to him to use.

Sometimes, when Bucky let himself think about you, he wondered if you even remembered the mug, but those thoughts turned dark, so he didn’t think about it too often.

“How was your appointment?” Steve stood next to Bucky and rinsed his yellow mug out.

“It was fine.” Steve raised a brow, expecting a further explanation, but when Bucky didn’t continue, he set his cup in the sink and leaned his hip against the laminated counter.

“Peg said–”

“Fuck, doesn’t she have anything better to do than gossip about us?” Peggy seemed to know everything about his and Y/N’s relationship, sometimes even before he did.

“She wasn’t gossiping, she cares about you two. All she said was Y/N left lunch early and you chased after her. That’s all.” Bucky scoffed. That’s all.

“She’s gonna come for dinner tomorrow. Nat threatened, I mean, convinced her to.” Clint interjected himself, easing the tension that was radiating from Bucky. Bucky chuckled genuinely, and Clint mentally patted himself on the back.


“How’d that go?” Clint refilled his mug and hummed.

“You know how Nat gets…. She’s too scary to say no to.” Scary was an understatement.

“Who’s Y/N?” Scott asked, an innocent grin on his face. Bucky liked him, he was a good guy and the world needed more of that. He was, however, oblivious to social cues.

“My wife.”

“You’re married!?” Bucky glanced at him over the rim of his mug.

“Yeah, he is. It’s complicated.” Clint tried to stop the conversation from continuing, but Scott was unaware.

“Is she–”

Bucky sighed, “She left four years ago and we talked for the first time Friday. So, yeah, it’s complicated.”

“Let’s go clean.” An order from Steve, laced in a pleasant tone. Clint dragged Scott with him, leaving Bucky to finish his coffee. Steve studied his best friend, trying to decide how much of his attitude right now was a mask for his real feelings. “She’s not doin’ any better than you, ya know?”

He’s not going to be able to finish his fucking coffee, is he? Bucky dumped the rest down the drain and rinsed his mug, setting it to dry next to Steve’s in the dish rack. 

“Steve–”

“Sharon’s told me bits and pieces, but not really enough to form an opinion, but I asked if she’s been to the Grove yet and–” Bucky’s head snapped to look at him.

“You what?”

“I asked Y/N if she’d been there yet. Nothing bad or anything.” Steve blinked, caught off guard by Bucky’s reaction. 

“Why would you ask her that?” The counter felt like it was going to crumble under Bucky’s grip.

“Because–” 

“Listen, I know you’re trying to be helpful, but unless you want me to deck you, don’t ever bring the Grove up to her again. That’s not your place, and you fuckin’ know it.” Bucky was chest-to-chest with Steve, a murder stare directed up at him.

“Bucky, I wasn’t–” The words died in his throat from the look Steve was getting. Bucky exhaled through his nose, his nostrils flaring and stalked out of the kitchen, the door slamming behind him. Steve would be wise to not talk to Bucky unless necessary the rest of their shift.

Steve and Bucky didn’t speak to each other for the rest of the day. Before Bucky left, he switched shifts with Clint. He was supposed to have the day off, but he didn’t want it. He needed to keep himself busy, and hanging out at home only let him dwell. 

Dwell on the things he needed and wanted to change, but was too chicken shit to do anything about.

When Bucky got home, he dropped his backpack on the recliner, kicked his boots off towards the door and walked into the kitchen to heat up a frozen dinner. Flavorless mystery meat and instant mashed potatoes… a true feast. 

He stood at the counter, eating his food while he stared off into space.

It’s not Steve’s fault he’s okay askin’ the things you’re too scared to. You’re being a jackass to your best friend, who’s only lookin’ out for you.

Bucky sighed and discarded his garbage before sinking into the couch and watching whatever he could find on TV. Nothing could keep his attention, so he decided to just call it a night, and drudged up to bed.

Bucky stared up at the ceiling for an hour before sending Steve an apology, and another to Bruce, telling him he’d be there in the morning.

He plugged in his phone and rolled over, forcing his mind to shut off for the night.

The door latched quietly, the soft thumps of Bucky’s boots dropping by the door disturbing the stillness of the house. He crept upstairs, the stairs creaking underneath his weight. He really needed to fix those. He made a mental reminder for his next day off. The bedroom door was shut, but light streamed from underneath into the hall. He pushed the door open, and his eyes found yours immediately, a serene grin spreading on his face.

You smiled up at him, patiently sitting up waiting for him to get home.

“Hi, baby.” He nudged the door shut with his foot and stepped towards you, chastely sharing a kiss. You hummed, “How was work?” Bucky groaned and crawled onto the bed, his head collapsing on your lap.

“My body hurts.” You giggled and undid his bun, letting his hair spill freely so you could card your fingers through it. He hummed in contentment, very similar to a house cat, and nuzzled his face further into your lap.

“I thought you could handle anything?”

“I changed my mind.” You giggled again and scratched his scalp with your nails. Bucky rolled over, staring up at you, “Will you still love me if I quit?”

Your face scrunched into a grimace, “I don’t know…. The whole reason I agreed to marry you was ‘cause you were gonna be a firefighter, so…” Bucky pinched your thigh, making you jump into a giggle. “I thought you liked my honesty?”

“Be less honest.” Another laugh filled their bedroom, and Bucky pushed himself up to his hands and knees. He gave you a fake glare, that you didn’t believe in the slightest. You patted his cheek, your laughter dying down.

“Hurry up and brush your teeth, so we can go to bed.” Bucky clumsily clambered off the bed into the bathroom, mumbling about how bossy you were. “Hey, you signed up for it bud. You’re kinda stuck with me for, like, ever.” You shrugged matter-of-factly, pushing yourself further into bed. Bucky smirked and rinsed his mouth.

Being stuck with you forever?

Perfectly fine by him.
