#fuck the claymore all my homies hate the claymore

okay actually I'm not done with the claymore hate

I hate this weapon partially because they forced me to use it in that one stage with Xavier. Its whole thing is slower attack speed + less AoE coverage in exchange for Hitting Harder and imo at this point it's just Not Worth It.

Ofc it doesn't have the benefits of the ranged weapons and I don't expect it to given its weapon type but the Hunter's Sword for me is just so much better, mostly because of its ability to close distances and its more forgiving with dodging because of its faster attack speed which doesn't trap you in animation for as long.

Sure part of it is probably because the claymore has a higher skill ceiling being a weapon that outputs more damage, they probably expect you to do Perfect Dodges to really milk this weapon but that's easier said than done. The screen can easily turn to chaos with all the Wanderers and their attacks, not to mention Wanderers off-camera hitting you when you can't see them. It encourages using a weapon that gives you distance like the ranged weapons so you have a better view of the field or the Hunter's Sword where the quicker attack speed means yes less damage per hit but your Hunter is more responsive.

There's also how positioning is more important in the battles when using the close range weapons. Obviously, because you have to get close to do damage with them and the claymore just doesn't have the decent positioning options the Hunter's Sword does. With the Hunter's Sword you can immediately close distance with your Active Skill and also reposition easily when the enemies are out of frame because it gravitates your attack towards the nearest one. Claymore has the rely exclusively on your dodge (it's less a dodge and more of a dash lets be honest) to close distances for it (a real bitch when the Wanderer has a charge attack and so on) and the dodge doesn't have the lock-on the Hunter's Sword Active Skill does so you're liable to get caught on a Wanderer or a wall.

This actually worked out very well lol bc w the cryo resonance, Rosaria's ult, and the cryo absorption for Wanderer's skill, I actually have 100% crit rate lmao so in the right circumstances I can be dealing double damage all the time 👀 plus when the enemy is frozen they can't stagger me 👌

Now that I've pulled Wanderer I really wish I had tried harder to get Layla bc,, none of my off field DPS characters can actually hit enemies when Wanderer is levitating in the air like that :')

I mean I have Fischl and Xingqiu but Fish is locked on my Kaeya team and Xingqiu is w Diluc and I really don't wanna take apart another team just to build one for Wanderer (even tho I might have to lol)

I was talking with my friends about what the best team comp for wanderer would be. I know for sure I want a hydro character so I can fly more but to be honest, it feels kind of clunky? I tend to just use him whenever his ult is up. I've been thinking of moving my machine gun heizou team to scara:

Feel like this one is more consistent and I have a sub dps with Beidou

Wanderer, Beidou, Yelan/Faruzan, and Shinobu

This one probably does more damage but I'm putting all my eggs into one basket since I'm relying on the bursts. Should mention I use raiden as support but this is so funny since it's a machine gun.

And then there's this one where I just want to nuke everything.

I have nahida but she isn't built. I really want to use her with Childe/Ayato, shinobu, and either thoma or bennett. That seems like a lot of fun. But I'm so used to using the same team for spiral abyss that it's kind of hard for me to switch anything lol

Cyno, Raiden, Yelan, Kazuha [Jean is used for floor 12]

Diluc, Kaeya, Bennett, Zhongli/Kazuha

Zhongli, Venti, Kazuha, and Xiao are all interchangeable depending on what I'm fighting. I also tend to never use healing characters because I either have a shield or everyone dies before I need to heal. Except for floor 12 ;-;

Today I bring you a list of my favorite Genshin Impact Boss Fights. This is completely subjective and they are rated by how much fun i have while fighting these bosses and also by how much i have to clench my cheeks. no i will not elaborate

9. Oceanid

Fuck you, 0/10 (I cant believe im gonna need to farm this fucker for childe. the sacrifices i make for my soon to come home boy are absurd. he better be grateful)

8. Dvalin

I dont know man, I fought him in the story but never again. It’s just tedious. I don’t like this boss even though the design fucks dude, 1/10

7. The Geo Hypostasis

The second cube i ever fought but the most tedious. fuck this cube and fuck the pillars, i never use claymores but this fucker makes me get my noelle and xinyan anyways cause it’s an asshole. 2/10 cause the basalt pillars it drops are kinda cool

6. Andrius

This wolf is amazing in the way i love the arena and the design, but fuck this boss, i get anxiety everytime i go to fight him. 3/10 I only fight him coop he scares me

5. Cryo Regisvine

I have a love hate relationship with this weed cause it’s super pretty and also the place it’s at is amazing but i hate fighting it cause it has fucking ice lasers and i dont like that. 4/10 cause it jumpscared me once when i spawned back in my world after coop.

4. The Anemo Hypostasis

The last cube i fought but also pretty fun to fight. i hate when it send the fricking tornadoes after me but i like the color so thats neat, 5/10 could be funkier

3. The Electro Hypostasis

Easiest of the three cubes and the first one i ever fought, it puts a smile on my face especially when i go farm it multiple times in a row for keqing. attack patterns are fun but its still easy to beat it to death and have fun. 7/10 a nostalgic experience.

2. Pyro Regisvine

I love this flower so much its beautiful its red and it fiery and also a perfect target for my “Fuck Pyro” team. Love destroying it thanks to my homies Barbara Kaeya and Xingqiu. I don’t really need to farm it but sometimes i go fight it just for fun. 9/10 just because once it murdered Barbara and i took that to heart.

and finally.....

1. Childe

This fucker takes the cake. i love the character i love the ambience i love how he mocks me and calls me a coward when i dodge and also mocks me when i dont dodge and he eats half my health bar. it makes beating the shit out of him so satisfying especially when you get him to stagger and he cries out. his pain fuels me. when i have a bad day i fight him and then i feel better. i remember the day i fought him 7 times in a row and always had fun. I always take a moment to admire him when he gets into his foul legacy form cause hes so sexy. 10/10 he makes my heart and my metaphorical dick throb
