- the moment we were all waiting for 😭 the proposal scene/P+A breakup scene 😭 i think your reasoning for Azzi not wanting to get married it’s SOOOO valid. As we know, irl Azzi admires P and is so happy for her and this all in fiction in this story, but I can def see how GH! Azzi can be worried about her identity (considering how much she overthinks in this story!). And fuckkkk, the moment of realization for Paige when she realizes that Azzi doesn’t want them to be public, that killeddd me and made me think about all of the times throughout the story that Paige questioned why Azzi didn’t want to be seen and loved by her. Paige is just a lover girl man and just wants to show Azzi off to world and say that’s my girl my girl my girl 😭😭

- Azzi knowing for 3 months that she didn’t see the future that her and P planned and not telling Paige right away is diabolical tho 💀 tbf, I know Azzi was scared and couldn’t even truly process what she was feeling, but damn, a little chat earlier on could’ve gone a long way LMAO

- I can’t imagine KK and Ice’s reaction after Paige came in crying and angry and hot asf. Like I know they thought their parents were gonna get married and ride off into the sunset… little did they know 😭

- Stephie figuring P+A out before Azzi could even tell her 😭 Stephie-bean is so smart just like her mama! - I remember being slightly pissed at Paige for taking all of this time to figure out if she should stay or not, considering that Azzi needed time and Paige didn’t give it to her. But I mean, in this case, 2 wrongs make a right? (The 2 wrongs being that Azzi suggested for them to end things and Paige taking 5ever to say that she’d stay. And the 1 right being that they’re happily together now LMAO)

- This chapter was absolutely spectacular Nivi!! I knew you wanted this chapter to be PERFECT and was slightly nervous about it… but you 100% ate and nailed the chapter 👏 literally GH is going to live rent free in my head for a while 😭 I’m gonna be able to quote shit from this chapter especially lmaoooo

But eventually, I think Azzi's reasoning for how she felt and Paige's reasoning for how that made her feel, both ended up being pretty valid.

- Yeah so that's one of the parts I felt was a little bit OOC because I'd like to think Pazzi irl are better communicators and Azzi would not be hiding such a big feelings from Paige because she really fucked up with that part. A little communication can and would have gone a long way.

- KK and Ice who'd literally bought expensive as fuck champagne to celebrate only for Paige to burst into the apartment Azzi-less and crying while she haphazardly packed her suitcase #truechildrenofdivorce

- A lot of my writing is very go of the flow, but what Azzi was gonna say has been written in my head since I figured out what the breakup was because for them to move forward with no hesitations, her being ready to tell everyone is very important.

Theory of Love Rewatch Ep 9 Stray Thoughts

Last time, Khai struggled to reconnect with Third, because it's really difficult to do the emotional work required to be in effective long term relationships with anyone when the person you need to reconcile with is the person you relied on to do that work for you. Khai may be serious about Third at this point, but he's never treated his relationships as more than a physical release prior to this, and went through the motions for getting the booty. No one is on his side, and Third is trying to move on. Meanwhile, Two is trying to move forward with Lynn, and Bone just learned that Paan has someone who's serious about her. Everyone thinks Un is into Third. We left at Khai crashing his motorcycle and getting hurt after being yelled at by Third for forcing a kiss on him AGAIN.

I really think Un and Third just went to a screening to get inspiration for their script.

Oh, he's delirious from blood loss. I don't remember this portion of the show well, so I really hope Khai doesn't take Third giving him attention again because he's hurt as a reasonable approach to getting him to interact in the future.

Khai was talking all that shit about Un, but look whose big ass is driving them to the hospital.

I do like when a character has to confront their psyche in a nether space. The Walkabout episode of Babylon 5 is my favorite example of this.

Having Bone and Two not be scared when Khai woke up is very reassuring for the audience, even if the inventory of injuries Khai sustained is extensive. Also, telling us he's been asleep for a day as Third walks up still in his bloody clothes lets us know immediately how worried Third was.

Obsessed with Khai's parents. The dad trying to keep upbeat, the mom chiding, the dad reminding Khai that this actually is quite serious, and them asking Third to look after Khai. I get it, show. They're best friends and everyone knows. I'm still salty.

Khai is such an asshole, so I think it's correct for his character to confess his feelings in the heat of an argument. I think this is a pretty solid episode for the most part, but I'm not sure all of the party worked for me. I think Khai's injuries were used well to mirror his internal feelings. I'm a bit bored of the stuff going on with Bone and Two though.

I saw something that pissed me off today and I need to vent about it somewhere.

I saw fans of Petyr Baelish, fans who love him and want to fuck him, talking shit about Petyr and Sansa shippers. Saying he's a p3d0 and I know they're insinuating we're morally corrupt for shipping them.

First, most Petyr and Sansa shippers didn't ship them until the show, they don't ship them in the books where she's 11 years old(the books you mofos love to bring up when a PxS discussion occurs). Sansa in the show is older and while, yes, she's young and it's creepy, she is past puberty, therefore, show Petyr is NOT a p3d0. P3d0s like children before puberty and it's absolutely foul and disgusting and yes, it is WAY worse than wanting to fuck a teenager. I don't care how you twist it. I have a teenage son and teenagers are horny as hell so the possibility of them getting involved with someone older isn't out of this world. My teenage son looks like a man and while yes, it would piss me off to no end for an adult to sink their claws into him, the idea of an adult going after my much younger son who looks like a child, would make me want to do unimaginable things to that person. There is a huge difference in a person who is sexually attracted to children and someone who is attracted to a person who is still mentally and legally a child, but has an adult's body.

Mostly though, I wanted to say this, those of you I'm speaking of are absolutely no better than us shippers are. If you are saying that we are morally fucked in real life because we ship two people who don't exist, then I'm going to go ahead and judge you based on real life. And you're basically saying, "I don't approve of this p3d0 and him liking a young girl but I love him and I'm going to turn my head cuz my pu$$y wants him."

A Brief Rant about Elitism in Music

I HATE HATE HATE elitism in music and art. I saw a YouTube thread about this the other day that got me fired up, so I am blessing y'all with a rant.

I am a loosey goosey mofo when it comes to what I consider to be 'good' art, as I have spoken about in a previous post. But I think one of the most anti-art art things in the world is elitist attitudes about art. Whether you wanna talk about how it often has racist or classist undertones, or how it perpetuates a myth of meritocracy in success, or whatever- the point is that it squeezes an innumerable number of people out of contributing to the art community because of their perceived lack of talent or skill. Not to mention of course that you need to be at least "middle class" (whatever that means nowadays) to even afford the starting equipment for many things, which has literally nothing to do with 'talent' or 'skill' but probably has more impact than either 90% of the time.

I'm sure plenty of sociologists have discussed in a more eloquent and academic manner but it just pisses me off. Who the hell are these people who prop up these BS takes? Are we really so fucking soul-crushed that the 'competitive' mindset that capitalism indoctrinates us into necessitates perceiving art as a zero-sum game?
