I am begging you guys to please be respectful and please do not ask anything ship related, especially with how the fandom is ripped in half right now and if someone says something some people don't agree with, then that person may get harassed. reasons why the "leaked" VLD screenshots are almost definitely fake:

- YouTube videos take forever to upload. To have it uploaded by a careless mistake seems unlikely, someone could have noticed and cancelled it.

- only one person saw it? no one else saw it and no one else got notified of a new video posted.

- said one person only has like, 10 posts on their blog.

- what's Keith looking at? He seems to have very vague fish eyes which would be uncharacteristic in this type of shot

- @cuddlylance has pointed out that if a sharpening filter is placed over this it reveals a white line around Keith and Lance which indicates they've been Photoshopped in.

- the trailer description doesn't follow the pattern of previous Voltron trailers at all

Where is that Lance murdering Shiro fanart? I've seen people saying that it's someone trying to demean Shiro to raise Lance's character, and that it's racist/ableist to draw a mentally ill Asian character like that on his birthday. But then I also read that the artist is Korean and they don't even stan Lance, they just like drawing gore art in general. Plus I've been to fandoms where drawing gore art of their fav character on their birthday is normal so idk I kinda want to see it myself to judge

Okay so it turns out that I had actually SEEN the fanart in question (before the wank started).

But because the artist was

a) pretty well known in the east asian VLD fanartist community

b) has a VERY distinct style

c) draws gore of EVERYTHING (hell, they even have a VLD zombie apocalypse AU)

d) stans a completely different character (not Lance or Shiro)

& the fanart itself was very well-drawn & clearly an angst pic not a “haha fuck you Shiro!” pic…..

I did NOT make the connection that this was the fucking fanart people were pissed about.

What exactly is "Anti logic"?
