ah shit, thanks anon! TL;DR on the everything going on with RT/AH, since I know I have folks who follow me who have undoubtedly probably been very confused (hidden under a readmore because it does have mentions of grooming): 

Ryan Haywood (who has since left roosterteeth, which is Achievement Hunter’s parent company, and who I will also now abbreviate to JRH) used to be one of their on-camera talent. Had been for a while. I wanna say he joined on-camera talent in 2012, but he’d been behind the scenes for at least a year prior. Pretty quickly got adopted by the community, and hey, he was a nice guy, or so we thought!

Some forum had a nudes leak of both him and another RT employee, along with some screenshotted DMs. It kinda turned into a “fuck RT” thing, since a ton of RT folks have leaned more liberal in political views. Threads were nasty and toxic, and initially everyone was convinced this was a smear campaign. People are still salty abt V*c M*cnogna being fired from RT (which, while I’m here, if you think he did nothing wrong then this is your official notice to pack up and leave, I don’t want you here) and it really read like people just wanting to make both employees suffer.

And then victims started stepping forward, with screenshots and pictures and conversations, and it was all stuff that you really can’t fake. JRH ended up releasing a statement about it (he called it an apology, I call it bullshit and manipulative) and soon after deleted his twitter, but we know he’s been messaging victims and begging them not to come forward, trying to guilt trip them through alt accounts and saying that it’ll hurt his wife and kids and that he’s suicidal and that would just make it worse. So, y’know, fuck him. He dug his hole, now he can be Edgar and lie in it.

A new victim stepped forward with another JRH story- all the same narrative we’ve heard, more pictures, and further confirming that JRH preyed on women who were vulnerable and used a faux sob story in order to manipulate them for sex. Unlike any of the other stories, though, they mentioned Geoff Ramsey in it (one of the founders of RT, created AH with another member), although all evidence mentioned was claimed to be deleted. I know there was an update to the doc with blurry hotel pictures, and a few people claiming that it could be from his girlfriend’s instagram, so I’m choosing to not hold a stance either way- with Ryan, it’s been proven he was shite, wbk. 

I’m a bit more hesitant to believe it with Geoff, just because of the forums, and what I saw during his divorce a few years ago, and how I know that this could very possibly be something to further stab at everyone when we’re already raw, but also I can’t deny that the hotel pics aren’t concerning.

Me, personally, I’m tired. My heart aches. Mentally I’ve been shit, and I’m trying to juggle the betrayal from earlier in the month with all of the shit going on in my own life. I know that people close to me know the extent of how broken up I am about so much, but I’ve not really said anything outside of those few people.

Like some people in this community can just be so fucking shitty about using their pronouns, like it is literally not that fucking hard. You don’t need to bitch about it.

Just because their bio has they/she does not mean you “don’t have to bother” because Lindsay has stated that she is reserved for close family and friends. That means the community should be using they. Because that’s what Lindsay is comfortable with/wants and it’s literally not that hard to respect that. People are, in fact, allowed to chose which pronouns different people can use.

Also like, I saw one comment and yeah, using someone’s pronouns is a requirement. In order to be the bare minimum of decent, you have to use someone’s pronouns. I don’t give a shit if you don’t like the person, it’s not an option. It’s a requirement.

And if you think fucking otherwise, get the fuck off my blog.
