🌩 Onyx Storm and Iron Flame: Wardstones

I was looking up something else when I saw on page 562 (hardcover, the end of chapter 59) of IF, "...as blood sprays from Baide's throat onto the wardstone. The black flames extinguish an instant before Baide collapses, her weight pitching forward."

Obviously, Baide's body dismantled Navarre's wardstone, but Baide's blood is what takes out the black flames. Could dragons' blood be what turns it off/nullifies it? It's so weird how Jack had Baide positioned when he gave her the killing blow right next to the wardstone.

Violet kept translating Warwick's word for flame as blood. When Violet tries the blood of the six, the wardstone does nothing. Warwick could have, essentially, made the word look like "blood" to remind himself of how to nullify it.

We really don't know when the Irids took their leave. Aretia's wardstone wasn't cracked it was just dormant in IF. So if both wardstones were fired up before the Irids were gone, did Warwick sabotage Aretia's with dragons blood? If true, does the dragon have to be dead for it to work? Or is it a few droplets that does the trick? I'm hoping it's just a small amount, and Jack was being dramatic 😬
