Included are a few gifts to make the day a little extra special-- firstly soy wax candles, next are cozy knit hats picked up from the holiday market, and finally some festive glasses hand-painted by yours truly. Having known Sunny through her work, she always thought she was a savvy businesswoman. But even besides her work ethic, she'd always liked her as a person. And clearly having great taste in just about everything, including desserts. "Oh, you have a great point," she gave a sly grin as she mentioned it being market research. While she never needed the excuse for sweet treats, she didn't mind the occasional sample of a wedding cake offered during a tasting, or well, indulging in some chocolate strawberries as seeming to find the best vendor. But she couldn't say it was research tonight, more along the lines of getting in the holiday spirit through seasonal treats. "I am nothing if not always on brand," she joked slightly. "But we've definitely been busier than usual, pretty sure I'd lose my head if I didn't give myself a break, perks of being your own boss I suppose."

It was hard not to know the people in town, when you’ve lived there your whole life. When it came to the events, you were bound to run into people you knew on a variety of levels. She’d had to interact with Kennedy plenty of times through the years through for business purposes. If someone rented out the bar for space for an event, Kennedy was one of the best in town to help plan for it. Working hand in hand to make things go off without a hitch was one of those things. “I mean, is it really caving to your sweet tooth if you call it market research?” Sunny couldn’t help but say with a laugh. “Chocolate strawberries are great too though! I mean, it gives wedding or anniversary vibes to me so it seems pretty on brand for you. With the holidays coming up, I’m surprised they even gave you time to come around here. You must be booked solid with Christmas weddings and parties.”

Realizing one bag of candy wouldn't be enough for trick-or-treaters, Anthony decided to head to the store to pick up a few more bags. He probably could've waited until later in the day, but he did his errands while he could, rather than rushing around after a school day when he'd rather be relaxing. As he looked at the options, trying to decide between a variety pack of chewy or chocolatey candy, he noticed the woman. She looked like she'd been coming back from a night out, or maybe headed to something that day, but he kept to himself. After all, the week leading up to Halloween was always wild in town, so he wouldn't judge. Turning when she spoke up, he nodded with a slight smile as he reached for the bag she motioned to. "Not a problem! Nice outfit by the way."

WHEN: Hallow-Week

Sunny knew she must have looked some kind of way. She'd stayed out entirely too late the previous night enjoying some of the holiday festivities, crashing on a friend's couch. She had woken up and attempted to straighten herself out enough until she could get home and grab a shower but she wasn't passing her own vibe check. She cringed at her own reflection as she filled a basket with candy from the candy aisle, praying she didn't scare anyone else trying to grab last minute spoils for the young or young at heart. "I am so sorry," she said politely, needing to reach a shelf but not really wanting to lean that low to grab it. "Can you do an assist and reach there. I don't know that Merrock can handle the show and this dress isn't made for low shelves."

Although her business didn't have a booth, her holiday season had been busy enough. With the extra holiday parties they'd taken on and her unexpected company, Kennedy was looking forward to the reprieve the holiday market provided. From appreciating the handcrafted items being sold, to trying the specials offered by the local businesses. Having enjoyed a steaming cup of hot chocolate, and scoring a few last minute gifts, she decided to get something sweet to eat. There were plenty of options after all, and nothing sounded more festive than the pastries or, chocolate covered treats. She noticed the booth from a few feet away, and she walked towards it, clearly intrigued by the concept. Apparently a bit so, as she bumped into a familiar blonde, a sheepish smile crossing her face. "No worries! Pretty sure I was guided by my sweet tooth here, I'm quite impartial to chocolate strawberries myself."

Peddling her wares on behalf of Bonne Merde was a necessary part of any event in town. There was a certain amount of presence that had to be kept up. In general, it was always an opportunity to make up for loss of revenue from the people who weren’t coming to the bar because of whatever event was going on. They’d come up with a collection of drink mixers and merch to sell on top of offering mulled wine, cider and hot chocolate. She was fortunate to have staff who were willing to step in once in a while to handle things while she stepped away. Desperate for a break, she headed off in search of something to eat. Her stomach had been rumbling for hours and there was so many tempting smells coming from the other booths that she couldn’t resist. Spotting chocolate dipped fruit booth, she ducked her way through the crowd careful to not bump into anyone until she did. “Sorry,” she said with an nod. “I could practically taste the chocolate pineapple. Maybe not the most Christmas-y choice but they all had their things.
