Location; Town Hall When; Early June Who; Closed @liamhart 

If there was one thing he missed about Chicago, it was probably the cool breeze that was always on the air. Sure, it snowed and was shitty in the winter, but he’d trade that off for a livable summer. If his documentation was correct it was only the beginning of June, too - there was so much worse to come weather wise. Given the opportunity, Georgia never would’ve been a place he would’ve chosen to settle down. But these times were certainly not ideal. 

He combed his hair back from his face once more, flipping through the pages of his tattered notebook absently before his eyes shifted as people walked past the doorway. Normally he would’ve thought little of it. Just another survivor being brought in, going through the steps of being welcomed into the town or whatever else...

But there was something that pulled his attention back. The flash of a lanky kid. The murmur of a voice that was far too familiar... But it couldn’t be, could it?

There was a part of him that thought to just shake it off, to not get his hopes up again just to be denied. But he had to try, right? He had to keep clinging onto that hope even if it hurt. So he rose from his seat and stepped out into the hall, to the retreating footsteps and the familiar form.

how she’d ended up in the library, chomsky had no clue. at first, it’s quiet and peacefulness had initially seemed like such an appealing thing, especially after the hectic few days she’d been through but soon enough, what had drawn her to the library was exactly what was making her jittery, the stillness of the place leaving her unable to focus on the notepad in front of her. tossing it in her bag in frustration, she got up and looked around, unsure of what to do with herself.

instead of leaving and going back home (or going to cause trouble at the town hall), chomsky made her way over to front desk of the library, leaning against it as she taped her fingers against the wood surface. “liam, right?” she asked, foot bouncing out of a need to just do something. “know any good books around here, kid?”

Hahahahahahahaha hahahahahahaha hahahaha. Okay. Am I done? I think I’m done. So, um. What kind of day has it been, guys? 

Let’s start with the...less unusual, and then really get into it. Harry’s team has sent his for your consideration Grammy packet to the music academy, Back To You was certified Platinum in the United States (!!! it’s what she deserves!!), Niall first posted to let us know he was going out and about with his bike, and then, sure enough, was seen out and about in London today with his $7.5K cherry red bike and Navy Blue bike shorts (note: he wasn’t riding his bike - he was walking it), Zayn and Gigi had their first date night ft. pasta [!] at the farm house since the birth of their daughter, and someone from the GBBO baked a Harry Styles cake, but the flavor is still unknown. Niall also took to twitter to tell everyone that the last four years of the Trump presidency feels like an episode of punk’d. 

That’s a GREAT segue into what the rest of the day felt like for me! First, someone noticed that Louis’ (official) website had been changed: the Walls CD was now listed as having 13 tracks instead of 12. Was this? A deluxe version? A new song? A website editor’s mistake? And then, if that wasn’t confusing enough, Louis registered a new song that was co-written with Jamie Hart and credited Noel Gallagher (the exact same people credited on Walls, the song). The song registered was called “Today Show” and that immediately got people wondering if THIS could be the secret 13th song on the album! Alas, it is not. Apparently, it is the registration of the performance of Walls, the song, from the Today Show, which explains the writing credits. It does not explain the secret 13th song, but at this point, the easiest explanation is that a graphic designer made a typo. 

Louis had no comment on the potential new songs, but he DID show up in Liam’s live! Oh my God. Liam’s live. Okay, well. The first thing we should talk about is that he has called his Halloween show his biggest yet, and he has not yet decided on a costume (pls be Harry Potter) but he was open to suggestions: Leroy the Choreographer was a popular one, as was Harry Styles (“which era of Styles, though?”), and even old school Liam himself. We got a reprise of parts of Watermelon Sugar and the “a door”/Adore discourse and even a bit of a live reaction to the song itself, and a confirmation that Liam and Tom are gonna do a duet (“I slithered in” jkfdhfkjda !!!!!). 

Okay, then. That’s about it for the sort of weird news, now let's get into the REALLY ODD things. It started normally enough, with the chat asking Liam what his favorite country was, and he said that his favorite trip was getting to go to Africa with Ant Middleton (the British reality TV adventurer), which he called “eye opening”. He said that the TV special they did together was them talking about their lives, and went on to say, “it was good, it was good, I slept on the floor with loads of animals. It was like being in One Direction!” and cackled (I did too!). “Sorry,” he said, “I HAD TO!”. Uh, no, you didn’t, said Louis, who popped on to tell him to “watch your mouth”. “AYYYY,” said Liam, “Louis’ watching...I bet [he] won’t come on, because [he’s] camera shy!” Dicho y hecho, Louis was like No <3 and DID NOT send a request to join the live. “He makes me feel WARM,” said Liam about Louis. YEAH CUZ  HE’S THE SUN HAVEN’T YOU HEARD???? 

Was it for Lilo?? NO! OF COURSE NOT! In a second live, Liam, about thirteen minutes in, said, “Oh! Hang on! We *really* have to talk about something!”, and started talking about how “the other day” he took Maya (who had been in the fandom before dating him) to see a movie she had been wanting to watch - “After We Collide”. He described the film as “not the sort he’d watch” and “RAUNCHY as hell”, and then! He found out - AFTER (hehe) watching the movie - that the characters were based on One Direction (*giggles loudly* “which I mean was just the FUNNIEST THING EVER”). AND IF THAT WASN’T ENOUGH, Maya then made him watch the FIRST film in the series (“which I kind of sat through”). About the whole thing, he said, “it was...an interesting viewing perspective”. 

Liam liked that his character (Landon, apparently) was a caring half brother who wanted the best for everyone, however, he said, “I feel like, sometimes, I’m a little bit the main guy [YIKES]...Who was obviously based on Mr. Styles”. He then said, with a completely straight face, “I feel like we always have a bit of Hardin Scott in us - that sounds weird”. He said that he really went down the rabbit hole with this one (oof), and realized that Landon’s physical description was “a young David Beckam”, and then he started giggling again. He did manage to stop laughing long enough to 1.) call fanfiction and fan creation “so cool” 2.) confirm that he’s now in it for the long haul and will be watching the third installment of the series and 3.) to tell Louis to watch it! “If Louis is [still] watching,” he said, starting to laugh again, “PLEASE just go and check that out for me. Just please dedicate an hour of your life, and just. Just have a little watch”. Liam’s chaotic energy? UNMATCHED! Honestly, I also want to hear Louis’ thoughts on this movie - I have a feeling they aren’t going to be as diplomatic as Liam’s were.

He should be giving it time. Healing takes time. But he can’t be productive if he’s just sitting around all day healing. 

It had to be the most mind numbing week of his life, just...sitting around this damn town all day. He had to get back out there, preferably sooner rather than later. At least the undead didn’t linger around or make meaningless conversation. At least he could do whatever he needed to to survive out there, find and take and keep. There weren’t that many rules out there when it came to survival. In here it was different. In here they had to share and care and all that shit. Ugh. 

Sitting on a picnic table he had shed the sling that was supposed to be keeping his shoulder stable so that it could heal, studying the stitching that knitted the wound together. All things considered it didn’t look so bad; new growth to replace and bring back together the broken flesh to start anew. 

The human body was rather fascinating - how it could recover from near death and return back. But also how it could take something so simple as a break in the skin to end it all. 

He breathed out a sigh, testing the movement of the joint, feeling the ache in the simplest flex of the muscles. It hurt, but it was manageable - after another week or two he might be able to get back on his feet - so to speak. One could hope, anyway. 

But it was clear he’d already worked it more than he should’ve as fresh drops of crimson appeared and a curse slipped between his lips. He could already imagine Fletcher’s face if he went to get patched up there as his fingers pulled away from the wound dipped in red. But then another hand appeared with a white cloth firm against his shoulder and earning a grunt from the older man as he glanced towards the boy from the library.

I'd love to be a TV host or journalist for sports channels or even a correspondent. I was always interested in the lives of persons I adored, I'd love to interview so many people that inspire me. Or even take part in debates. Interview coaches and players on the fields after a crucial game. I think I'd never get tired of it. I live and breathe football and formula one, so it'd be a dream to become a Sky Sports host or something for example (just for you to know what I mean). I love to write in many languages so sign me tf up @ skysports

WHAT  INSPIRED  YOU  TO  TAKE  ON  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE  ( THAT  YOU  ARE  POSTING  THIS  ON ):  I HAVE FIVE. the first time i played caroline, it was for a roleplay with my friend and it was the only one i could really understand well enough to feel comfortable playing. the reason i decided to bring her into the indie world was because i feel like she has a lot to her that will be fun to explore in this setting. erica was the first muse i ever played outside of the glee fandom, and i was drawn to her because despite how confident she seems, she was bullied and ostracized for something she couldn’t control for ages. she’s still insecure despite how confident she acts, and i can relate to that. when i was first introduced to felicity on arrow, i immediately fell in love with her, but i was so worried i wouldn’t be able to capture her unique quirkiness. i’m still not sure i have it quite right, but she’s my baby and i don’t plan on giving her up anytime soon haha. haley is basically my spirit animal. when i play her, it’s the least effort i have to put into a character because we are very similar in personality, flaws, and hobbies.  finally, maya is my little broken bb.  i starter playing her because a friend of mine was playing josh, but once i started playing her, i could really connect with her sarcasm and habit of hiding her flaws and insecurities.

You know what everyone could use in the sweltering summer months? A nice, cold glass of…anime. At least that’s the particular theme that comes up in Netflix’s list of new releases for June 2021.

Netflix has been quietly expanding their anime offerings for awhile now but June is a particularly anime-heavy month. The absolutely metal sounding Record of Ragnarok arrives this month. So too do parts 1 and 2 of the newest Sailor Moon film on June 3 and Godzilla Singular Point on June 24.

Anime For Beginners: Best Genres and Series to Watch

But for those who aren’t ready to dip their toe in the anime pool yet, Netflix has some other originals of note in June. Sweet Tooth, the ambitious comic adaptation starring Will Forte premieres on June 4. Then, remember French uber-thief Assane Drop in Lupin? Well part 2 of that fun series premieres on June 11.

Netflix also has a pretty deep roster of original films this month. sci-fi thriller Awake premieres on June 9, the Kevin Hart-starring Fatherhood on June 18, and Liam Neeson auction film The Ice Road on June 25.

Of course, if you just want to be chill about it, all three seasons of Happy Endings arrive on June 1. Never a bad time to watch one of the millennium’s most charming sitcoms.

when: July 26th, midafternoon where: Town Square-ish somewhere?  who: closed @liamhart

The storm had come through town without warning. One minute it had been another hazy day in Georgia, if a bit cloudy. Jesse had actually been relieved not to have the sun bearing down on them for a day this morning. But the clouds had turned angry and churning, the winds had picked up, and the rains had begun in what felt like a blink of an eye. 

Jesse had ushered anyone he could into Town Hall, but the damp and disheveled faces were not the one he was looking for. It meant Liam was still out there. And while it had been years since Liam had last huddled scared under blankets because of a thunderstorm, he still didn’t like the idea of him stuck at the home all alone - or the library, or...well, he couldn’t even be sure where else the boy might want to go.

He steps out into the pelting rain once more, looking for any other residents that might need shelter in the darkened halls of Town Hall - but more importantly the stubborn younger Hart. He’s heading in the direction of their home when he stumbles upon him, calling his name over the din of the storm.
