MILO please please please headcanon request for what it would be like being part of Team Skull and dating Guzma after TS disbands?

Hiii Charlie. Okay unsure how I feel about this one because I never finished the Ultra Moon post game or watched the anime so I’m sure there’s something he’s ACTUALLY doing. But man. I have no idea what that is.

Dating Guzma After Team Skull Disbands

- While Team Skull disbands and ceases annoying trial goers, they also technically stick together. Most of the members who stuck around still live in Po Town, including you, Guzma, and Plumeria. The first order of business is cleaning up. Although the result isn’t perfect considering it's being done by a group of people who are essentially twenty-something college dropouts. Of course, in true dropout fashion, this results in a massive trash-burning bonfire. The blaze lasts until Nanu drops by, asking if anyone is aware that that is illegal. He’s hit with a resounding no.

- “What do you mean? People burn wood and shit all the time,” One grunt says.

- Nanu picks up a large stick another grunt was using to stoke the fire. “I see a mattress, at least five plastic bags, and… ten tires. That’s incredibly toxic. Get away from there.”

- The cleaning operation results in Guzma finally cleaning his room. The chest of Buginium Z is given elsewhere to be distributed to trial goers rather than hoarded, his bed is made, the carpet is vacuumed, and the throne is tossed in a dumpster. Much to your dismay. There was no denying the inherent hotness of the throne, even if its removal frees up a significant amount of space for decorating. An activity Guzma leaves to you. He can do the heavy lifting, but interior decoration is not his forte. If it were up to him, his mattress would be on the floor, and he’d use a crate as a table.

- Guzma deals with a lot of toxic masculinity. Being vulnerable, especially in front of others, is hard for him. Guzma's working on that right now. It’s still hard for him to tell you how he feels, to talk to you if he’s jealous rather than intimidate the other guy into submission, but he’s working on it. He wants to be a good partner to you and he knows this is the best way to do it. His compliments are clumsy for a bit. Guzma can tell you how hot you look with little issue. When it comes down to more intimate details, he clams up. He does notice the little things. Your laugh is nice. It makes him get butterflies in his stomach when you smile at him, he loves the way his heart flips when you kiss him, though these are things he’s unable to articulate well. He gets better eventually. For now, you smile while he stumbles his way through how pretty your eyes are.

Bay’s 2018 Writing Summary

Another year, another writing year summary! Made some progress with Foul Play and wrote three shorter stories, so let's go!

Foul Play (Pokemon, In Progress) Soooo I only posted Chapters Four and Five this year. I mentioned reasons for that was fixing up a bit of the earlier chapters, writing a couple pieces for fanzines, and real life stuff. They're also the longest chapters I've written for the story so far and probably could benefit from broken up into more parts instead oops.

Also, I managed to write drafts for 6,7, and 8 in October and November! Chapter 6 is still being looked over by my beta and I'll be polishing up Chapters 7 and 8 more. Also recently figured out for the climax I have at least 4 or 5 mores chapters planned out.

I'll be honest, I'm upset at my sluggish schedule for Foul Play. Foul Play shouldn't take longer than...maybe 15 chapters give or take. And yet from August 2017 to now I only posted 5 chapters. Granted, part of it is me needing to have a better foresight how I want to break down the chapters. Even then, I haven't gotten much chance to make progress until the later half of 2018. I've been comparing myself to other folks with much longer works and able to still keep a consistent schedule, which yeah I know it's unhealthy to do so.

What I want to try is to get a Foul Play sprint going like I did during NaNo 2018. Try to get drafts of a couple chapters in a month and go from there. Camp Nano, anyone? Hopefully 2019 I'll make much more progress.

Of Quesadillas and Penguins (Voltron) (Link) This is a free Lance centric fanzine that I participated in! Funny story, I originally was gonna use a different idea which was Lance trying to get along with Lotor and being supportive of Lotor and Allura getting married. THEN Season 6 happened and well.... lol.

I then went and did a different idea last minute where Lance babysits his niece and nephew. Sadly though I didn't get much feedback on it since it's not shipping but oh well. Despite that, I probably would like to try a couple more Voltron stories since I've been getting plot bunnies for that lately. Season 8 may or may not be the reason for that, haha.

Devil's Nest Zine Fic (FMA) Another piece I wrote for a fanzine! I found out about this zine and turning in my application last minute lol. The idea is the Devil's Nest gang dealing with a rival bar. I did a preview of it a few weeks ago!

The physical zines still haven't been shipped yet, but the mods just today gave the contributors to post their stuff. However, I won't post the fic for a few more days until things settled down after the holidays. It shouldn't be much longer!

The Kahuna and the Cursed Seaweed (Pokemon) (Link) Last fic I did was a gift fic for eldestoyster! I mixed a few prompts that features Olivia and a Dhelmise! The second half of the story took a bit longer than I liked due to me and family being sick eck. Still somewhat iffy on the prose, but yeah finished it in the end. Very glad that my recipient enjoys it, though!

Also fun fact when I was researching Dhelmise while writing the fic. Apparently they're like 12 ft tall and I'm like, 'Oh my gosh how does a small teenage girl like Acerola get a Pokemon like that." I then came up with the backstory of Acerola going with Nanu to Poni Island and their boat got attacked by one. The more you know!

Overall this year I think I did a bit less writing than last year. To be honest, I was very down on my writing this year the most. Part of it was how how I applied to several tumblr fanzines and didn't get in them.  Another reason is Foul Play's slow updates that I mentioned before.

But hey, any writing is better than none at all, right? When I got accepted to Devil's Nest Zine that raised my confidence a little bit, so I  might apply to more fanzines if it's a fandom I'm aware of and if time allows it. Otherwise, want to focus more on Foul Play and post more than 2 chapters next year, fingers crossed.
