at least with the Servants of Stay Night, how do you think each Servant individually though of Archer (EMIYA) I've seen many fanfictions in where whether he and the other Stay Night Servants are interacting with each other, the other Stay Night characters usually hate him, or just dislike him. I get that he can be a jerk, but that was only specifically towards Shirou, so do the other Servants think negatviely of him as well, except Gil cus it's obvious why he'd hate him

In an alternate world, rather than summon Astolfo, Celenike summons servant Rider Goredolf Musik, driver of the Shadow and Storm Borders, he who's driving skills escaped the apocalypse twice. While everyone else is reeling from the implications that not only was a modern mage able to enter the Throne, but that said mage also was of the Musik line, Goredolf is panicking because if he, a member of Chaldea, was summoned, things are about to get very bad very fast.

Since soujuurou is 17 in 1989, and Kuzuki is 25 in 2004, that would make the former the big brother in the assassin cult! So something with soujuurou acting like a big brother to kuzuki!

Herc Headcanons 1

I'm gonna go ahead and post some headcanons whenever the urge strikes me, mostly to help me flesh out my take on a sane Herc.

Since his memories of Illya from FSN seem to be strong enough that Bersercles remembers them in FGO, I don't see why Sabercles wouldn't remember them as well. So he treats Illya as a surrogate daughter.

Speaking of kids, one bit of canon that needs addressing is that Herc had a lot of children; he had over 50 tykes to his name even before he started his Labors, and that number only increased over the years. This is why so many people are able to claim to be his descendants; he had so many kids that there's a good chance they legitimately are. On the headcanon side of things, given how he acts with kids even as a Berserker, this blog is taking the stance that Herc tried his damndest to be there for every single one of them, but that did inevitably mean that (especially during his adventuring years) he wasn't able to spend as much time with any one of them as he would've liked.

Herc is remarkably humble for a man who's accomplished as much as he has. He knows he's damn strong, of course, but he never assumes his opponents are helpless before him unless it's definitively proven. Even for those that literally cannot hurt him, he'll still show respect for the prowess and skill that they display. As a side effect, this means that whenever he buckles down and truly commits to a fight, he does his utmost to murder the shit out of his opponent post-haste; he usually respects them too much to not take them seriously. As for people who aren't fighters at all, well, they're just flat out capable of doing things he can't, and thus are worthy of great praise indeed!

So this is less a headcanon and more just a thing I think is kinda wild. In Fate, Achilles was one of the people trained by Chiron, and by all accounts he actually finished his training too. Here's the thing: Heracles accidently killed Chiron in his Fourth Labor. Which means Achilles was almost certainly a teenager at the time. Given that Achilles' whole deal was either die young in glory or die old in obscurity, that means there wasn't that many years left after Chiron's death until the Battle of Troy began. Heracles could well have been alive when Hellen was taken by Paris; considering he still had six years of Labors left after killing his centaur buddy and that he still had a whole hell of a lot of adventuring left to do even after the Gigantomachia, he might have actually outlived Achilles in Fate. I don't know yet where I actually stand on this (I default to him being dead before the Troy Troubles are done), but I still think that's a pretty crazy thought.

i just got into the argument of all time on twitter about what lingerie illya would wear (little girl underwear illustrations under the cut you have been warned)

this HA bonus illustration is not drawn by takeuchi and therefore not canon sorry i refuse to believe she would wear such a hideously orange shade of red

the black and white ones from CM2 on the other hand have much more basis in canon but are still ultimately an unused design

the thing is that if you also look at what they say about illya's development in CM2, she was originally supposed to have black stockings, those were removed. she was initially supposed to have more wifely attributes as one of the heroines, those were removed. she was initially supposed to have a sex scene where she wore that lingerie, it was removed

so its not really a situation where she had this in her wardrobe all throughout FSN and never put it on, its questionable whether its even supposed to exist in the actual version of the work that got released

it's a similar situation to the doll bad end where she's implied to rape shirou. in the tiger dojo they say it's a removed scene, so does that mean illya did it anyway but offscreen, or it just never happened at all?

i think at the very least you can interpret it as giving some insight on her as a character - she would be somewhat inclined to rape shirou in that scenario regardless of whether it actually happened or not, and this does seem like the kind of outfit she might put on if she was trying to seem sexy

but like again you can see a move away from illya-related sexual content on nasu and takeuchi's part so its kind of hard to say

she would def wear something like that in my headcanon at least

Gimme a random headcanon about Gilgamesh, can be anything

He LOVES collecting random shit he finds interesting. Obviously he has his huge stockpile of weapons and treasures, and he won't lay his hands upon something he finds filthy or displeasing, but any time he's summoned he can't help but throw diamond in the rough knickknacks he comes across into the gate of babylon so he can admire them later. by the time fsn rolls around he's got a bunch of antique plates, figures, books, etc

If you really think about it, the headcanon that Gudao/Gudako (how I will call M/F Ritsuka Fujimaru for simplicity's sake) are Rin and Shirou's kids doesn't really work timeline wise.

Given the start of FGO happens in 2015 (2017 for English), they would have to be born in early 2000 at the latest, though I would place their birth date at 2000 since the youngest they look to me is 15.

Now, Rin and Shirou were both in high school in 2004 (FSN). Assuming no differences in when people were born in FSN and FGO, this would mean they would still be (young!) teenagers when they had Gudao/Gudako. Which, while not impossible, is a huge stretch.

Well, I'm not telling people they must not hold this headcanon. Some fanfic alter the age of Gudao/Gudako to be younger. (Also, the actual truth is their designs are just genderbent Rin and Shirou.) However, let me bring something up that would fit better in canon: Gudao being Rin's younger brother and Gudako being Shirou's younger sister.

Think about it. In FGO timeline, the grail war was the first grail war ever, so the craziness of FZ never happened. Tokiomi would still be alive, as would be Shirou's parents. If they had children, there would be a 10+ age gap between Rin/Shirou and them, but that isn't an uncommon thing to happen in real world families.

Gudao/Gudako had rather ordinary lives uninvolved with magecraft before being brought to Chaldea. For Gudako, this works easily, since Shirou's original family was pretty normal, and being Shirou's sister, she probably has a similar magecraft potential to him.

For Gudao, he was not born the first child so would be kept ignorant of anything related to magecraft. Perhaps, with the upcoming grail war, Tokiomi decided to adopt him out so he wouldn't fall into any danger (look, while Tokiomi isn't a good parent, he does want the best for his children, even if it's by mage standards). Perhaps the family adopting him happened to be Shirou's family, who wanted to give an unwanted child a chance at a happy life. Perhaps Shirou's original surname was Fujimaru.

And there, that's how you could get the Fujimaru siblings.

With the Command seals I'm guessing people are confusing them with the ones in FGO which apparently a lot and I mean a LOT of people don't know are nowhere near as strong as the command seals from the Fuyuki grail war or freaking regular grail wars.

Actually, Imma add onto this, how Is it that so many people are part of the Fate fandom and will know a ton of stuff but either get things unbelievably wrong about basic stuff or push a headcanon as if it's an absolute fact and if you disagree your basically the devil. Or have a bias whether towards a servant or towards a Fate franchise, usually either FSN or FGO.

So because people are apparently taking this image seriously-

1- It does happened every 40 or so years in the Fuyuki system. It's just that the Fourth Holy Grail War didn't end properly so the system restarted early.

2-The supposed 'variance' in the number of Servants is because the Fuyuki Grail is corrupted by a unique Servant that was summoned through breaking the rules of the system.

3- You DO summon historical figures like 80% of the time. 5% is summoning a guy to fill in for a mythical figure that never existed but is functionally that guy. 5% is summoning an idea in the form of a Servant that has impacted humanity. 5% is FGO fanservice bringing in characters from the franchise which doesn't happen anywhere else and the last 5% is just odd/comedy cases.

4- No, you summon Servants from the Throne of Heroes which records the deeds of notable actors in history then preserves their souls to be summoned as familiars. The thing is, the Throne of Heroes is outside of time so it can pull people from anywhere in time so long as they are recorded. You usually summon people with a catalyst so naturally people ASSUME it's just heroes from the past. Also humans in the modern era tend to lead such insignificant lives that almost no one gets recorded.

5-No, you get 3 Command Seals and that's it. The Church Overseer retrieves any unused Command Seals but is supposed to be a neutral party that doesn't use them. Kirei just breaks the rules cuz he's supposed to enforce them.

6- Motherfucker, did you not see Kirei command fucking CU CUTHULANN to kill himself? Those Command Seals DO command Servants. The are only a few cases of Servants ignoring those Command Spells. Saber did it once because she was THAT resistant to magic and couldn't resist TWO. And Berserker of Red did it because that's whole shtick. Anything else is working around loopholes and how you need to be VERY specific with your commands.

7-Not the actual Holy Grail and people just assume it's all powerful. It's got god-like power but even it can't, say, magically wipe all conflict from existence.

I though we all knew this was a joke but apparently I had to say all this.

For the anon that submitted a request for queer headcanons, I headcanon Oryou as transfem non-binary, though she doesn't use the labels or even understands what those labels are. She is just Oryou, after all. However, she bristles when people refer to her old identity/dead name (hinted slightly in GG6, but unconfirmed, to be Hiruko, the abandoned son of Izanagi and Izanami from Japanese mythology). For a scenario, perhaps someone from the Japanese pantheon is summoned to Chaldea (if there is not someone already there) and recognizes Oryou as Hiruko.

Prompt (I can't believe I send this): A Naked and Afraid parody where Saitou Hajime and Nagakura Shinpachi (the younger one aja his 2nd and 3rd ascension) found themselves naked and stuck on an island with no clothes and weapons because they can't remember anything on last night until they found a letter say: "Two survivalists who meet for the first time naked and are given the task of surviving a stay in the wilderness for 21 days. Each survivalist is allowed to bring one helpful item, such as a machete or a fire starter. After they meet in the assigned location, the partners must build a shelter and find water and food." Can they survived on this island in 21 days? (A very juicy Saitou Hajime x Nagakura Shinpachi prompt).
