realistically fgo will continue to struggle its way to the end of ordeal call and then probably die. this would be the merciful death. the other option is it struggles its way to the end of ordeal call but somehow continues to make enough money to sustain itself so they come up with yet another arc to push its shambling corpse forwards. the ideal still somewhat realistic outcome as someone who does still hold lingering affection for a lot of the game and wishes it didn't suck is that they finally introduce a good sidestory system and let you replay story quests so the game becomes a tolerable experience and can be allowed to live on merit of being a decent game. the pipe dream is they give up on the gameplay element and just rework the whole thing into a visual novel app. the secret pipe dream is nasu starts playing arknights and demands fgo gets its own integrated strategies
