Not sure if you know the answer to this but why is the coyotes games so blue?

If you're asking in a general sense, yes it is more blue than some other games. Its an issue with the tv providers as the lighting in the arena is perfectly fine and only Regional broadcasts seem to have this issue. As far as I know Bally Sports has been trying to fix this issue (seemingly the broadcast trucks) for ages however a big problem is the tinting hasn't always been this bad. Back before the change to Bally from FSAZ it was slightly tinted but not nearly as bad as it currently is.

If you're refering to the TSN broadcast of the TOR @ ARI game I don't know what to tell you. The color shift issue only seemed to be on the CAN broadcasts and not at all on the local casts of the game (other than our blue tint that is)

Okay, so, being a writer, it's usually a lot harder to put together a flashy end-of-year post than it is for visual artists, but this year, in honor of my taking the plunge into this corner of art, I put together a compilation of all my preview graphics for the various zines I've been in this year!

Hey, this might be a stupid question but I'm new to hockey and I was wondering where you find videos from the intermission interviews? When I find replays of games they always just cut off the intermission. Thanks!

unfortunately a lot of replays/game downloads cut the intermission content in order to shorten the video/shrink the file size, so most of the time when i gif intermissions im watching the game live and can grab it then.

Forward Marquese Chriss to miss game after altercation coach

Suns forward Marquese Chriss will miss Sunday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets for a “rules violation,” according to General Manager Ryan McDonough.

ESPN reported that Chriss will be suspended one game for a “verbal altercation” with the team’s strength coach following Friday’s 129-97 loss to the Utah Jazz. The argument was over a postgame routine Chriss is supposed to do, ESPN said.

Neither McDonough nor interim coach Jay Triano would talk specifically about the incident.

But Triano said Chriss is not suspended. McDonough said Chriss is being given a “cooling off” period. Asked if Chriss has been fined, McDonough said, “We’re handling all of that internally.”

Chriss was not at Saturday’s practice.

“He’s a good kid who had a bad moment,” McDonough said. “We look forward to seeing him Monday morning and turning the page.” 

“It’s a violation of team rules,” Triano added. “We’re going to keep it in house. We’re not discussing it any more and we’ve dealt with it.”

Phoenix Suns plan to suspend forward Marquese Chriss for a game stemming from a verbal confrontation with an assistant coach, league sources tell ESPN.

Chriss had 3 points and 3 rebounds in 13 minutes of play Friday night. 

Chriss has started 40 games for the Suns this season – every game since Earl Watson was fired in which Chriss was healthy.

He missed seven games with an ankle injury but had a double-double (15 points and 12 rebounds) against Dallas in 27 minutes on Wednesday night.

Chriss is averaging 7 points and 5 rebounds in 21 minutes per game for the Suns this season. 

Booker’s struggles

Devin Booker has made just 12 of 38 shots since returning from a rib contusion he suffered against Houston on Sunday, and he missed all seven of his 3-point attempts against the Jazz.

Triano said he hasn’t given any thought to resting Booker on Sunday, thus giving him three full days off before Tuesday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers but added, “I’ll talk to him and see how he feels.” 

Triano said he didn’t think Booker was laboring physically against Utah.

“I just think it was a learning experience for us in terms of how we execute in the half court and where he needs to be as a point guard. That’s all,” Triano said.

Len update

Center Alex Len, who has missed five of the last six games with ankle soreness, practiced Saturday and Triano said he’ll be evaluated before Sunday’s game to see if he can play.

Update: The Hornets are 22-29 and in 11th place in the Eastern Conference, but they’ve won two straight games and point guard Kemba Walker has been on fire, scoring 38 and 41 points in the two victories. Walker, who reportedly is on the trading block, leads the team in scoring (22.8 points). Dwight Howard will pose a problem for the Suns inside; he’s averaging a double-double (15.9 points, 12.7 rebounds). The Suns will be without forward Marquese Chriss, who is being held out of the game because of a verbal altercation with the team’s strength coach after Friday’s loss to Utah.

Here is the short bio Cristin provided to introduce herself to you:

I am a second generation Sun Devil of Arizona State.  GO DEVILS!  I started my career taking a break from college to start an entertainment company where I provided DJs/Karaoke/MCs for bars and clubs along with A/V consulting and equipment install.  (Oh to be 20-ish again).  After six successful years, I decided to grow up and go back to college where I graduated with a BA in Film & Media Studies.  Following an internship at Fox Sports Arizona my “senior year” I accepted a full-time freelance position in the production department. After close to 7 successful years in production, I decided I wanted to understand where all the money came from.  I transitioned to the other side of the room at FSAZ and managed all the incoming national advertising dollars and worked closely with the AEs and traffic department to get orders/creative successfully placed and logged.  Insert the advertising agency life and media buying.  I was hooked.  I was able to stay in the business and become a sports FAN again!  My unique background led me back to my entrepreneurial spirit where I can now help my clients with an array of most things media!  Very excited to join the BluHorn family and continue to assist our partners and clients in the best alternative to the competition in their media placement.  Cheers!

 What is your role at BluHorn?  Customer Support Representative 

What did you do before you were with BluHorn?  Sports Production at Fox Sports Arizona.  Marketing/Advertising/Media Buying.  I currently own cSquared Consulting where I offer consulting services to clients that need help in any of the above areas.

What are you looking forward to working for BluHorn/in the software biz?  Helping the industry continue to shift and move into a more cost effective and efficient to construct and place their traditional & digital media buys.

What’s your favorite feature of BluHorn?  The Marketplace offerings.

Where do you live? Brandon, Florida.

How long have you lived in Florida?  Six weeks.  Just moved from New Jersey of 2 years and previously from Phoenix, Arizona.

What do you like to do in your free time?  Sand volleyball, golf, swimming, playing the guitar (not well, still learning) and reading!
